Finally, there are a few flowers on the cold hardy lemon tree. I moved that poor thing around 7 times since I first planted it, I just wasn't happy with it, but I finally found its place. Honestly after the last move, in late autumn last year, I wasn't sure it'd survive, yet here it is, blooming.

The cold hardy lemon has survived winter outside! Wrapped in an old bedsheet and a plastic sack on top. This winter has been milder than the previous ones though. I uncovered it on Saturday and not only does it still have green leaves from last year, is also full of leaf buds.

This is the cold hardy lemon tree (or wild lemon tree). It’s supposed to be able to get through winter outside, so it’s currently planted at the edge of the berry garden. We’ll see if it’ll still be alive next spring.

What I would really really want to buy:
- Bay tree (the old one died while I was away last summer)
- Sage (I recently kill it by trimming it too much)
- Hardenpont pear (variety that can be stored for winter)
- Medlar (I’ve never grown this and we have a few empty spaces in the orchard)
- Red plup peach (same)
- Triptera lemon (very resistant to cold, I was thinking of trying it in the garden at home)
- Honeyberry
- Blueberry
- Cranberry
- White currant (all of these berries bushes already exist at the orchard, but they’re not doing very well there, so I was thinking of giving them a try at home)
- Orange raspberry
- Yellow raspberry
- Strawberry raspberry (I’m curious about these three)
- Bonus: I also kind of want a Ginkgo Biloba, but it’s so expensive, I didn’t even put it in the cart
