𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚
Simple recipe for chocolate truffles:
Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) good quality dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- 2 tbsp (30g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Cocoa powder, powdered sugar, finely chopped nuts, or shredded coconut for coating (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the chocolate: Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
2. Heat the cream: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat immediately.
3. Combine ingredients: Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for about 2 minutes to soften the chocolate. Add the butter and vanilla extract if using.
4. Stir until smooth: Gently stir the chocolate mixture until smooth and all the chocolate is melted. If the chocolate doesn't melt completely, you can gently heat the mixture over a double boiler or in the microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently.
5. Chill the mixture: Once smooth, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
6. Shape the truffles: Once the chocolate mixture is firm, use a small spoon or melon baller to scoop out small portions and roll them into balls between your palms. Place the rolled truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Coat the truffles (optional): Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, finely chopped nuts, or shredded coconut to coat them evenly. You can also leave them plain if you prefer.
8. Chill again (optional): If the truffles have softened too much during shaping, you can chill them again in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes to firm up.
9. Serve: Once the truffles are coated and firm, they are ready to be served. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Non avavamo resistito ad usarne parte per una variazione di Cacio e Pepe alla romana, tuttavia come promesso, oggi ci siamo dedicati a creare una ricetta assolutamente nuova ed originale, come volevamo fare da giorni👨🍳👩🍳 Confessiamo che qualche difficoltà il compito la aveva ... Il Tartufo , con il suo gusto di muschio e bosco, è di per se un sapore abbastanza difficile da sposare con la fragranza che deve necessariamente sfoggiare un piatto estivo, così in questi giorni abbiamo pensato molto a come usarlo invece per una ricetta che ne esaltasse l’aroma e lo facesse essere parte di un progetto più...leggero e soprattutto più fresco🤔🤔🤔 Così, lentamente, è nata l’idea di questi dischi di Riso originario, aromatizzato proprio con polvere di Tartufo Nero e foglie di Timo fresche in polvere, ricoperti esternamente da una croccante e sapida polvere di Lenticchie Verdi disidratate, serviti con lamelle di Tartufo ed una spolverata di briciole di Fragole, anche queste disidratate, che aggiunge una nota dolciastra ed agrumata al nostro progetto di sapore, da concludere con una goccia di riduzione di Aceto balsamico modenese, che a nostro avviso completa efficacemente la struttura olfattiva e gustativa della portata. Ovviamente un piatto freddo, adattissimo per un primo piatto o un antipasto tutto estivo, da assaggiare rigorosamente con un calice di buon bianco ed assaporare in tutte le sue nuances. Provate a prepararlo e vedrete che ne rimarrete assolutamente rapiti !😋😋😋 A noi questa ricetta è piaciuta tantissimo ed appena sarà possibile la pubblicheremo sicuramente sul Blog per darvi modo di poterla replicare. Per ora, preparati i piatti, non ci resta che attendere l’ora di pranzo.
