My brain has gone back and forth on between which anime if arma or new is my favorite. Cause even with all its issues Arma means a lot to me, it’s the reason I got into getter and helped me through one of the worst times of my life- But then new is objectively better written and it drives me nuts compared to arma it’s not talked about ENOUGH despite all the stuff you can poke at from it’s plot and I’m trying to pinpoint that reason since the general consensus is “no one hates new and it gets a lot of fanart in the Japanese community yet it’s never deeply acknowledged so it feels unpopular”
So my standpoint is “do I keep investing into the popular iteration despite its issues or do I invested into the less flawed unpopular iteration when it comes to introducing getter to new people?” cause man as much as I’m a critical person of media I still can forgive some messy writing if I have a good time with it and can clearly tell the staff had fun making it, which is definitely armas case. (Though they absolutely had fun with new too)

i approved the technical exam for one company O_o! I need to pass a technical interview, and if they like me, I'm getting a new job!
I also had another interview yesterday (from an even better company) so fingers crossed they like me enough to have a technical interview next week O_O

I'm going through some absolutely TERRIBLE art block rn, so I made a pair of lazy reverse omens edits for crowley and Aziraphale! (Can you tell which one I put more effort into💀)
Here are some fun facts about my reverse omens crowley/Raphael and Aziraphale/Ezra! :
Raphael drives a 1970s beetle! It's nearly the same color as his suit but a little lighter.
Ezra's "full name" is Azirafell C. Phore (pronounced like the explosive).
Ezra's animal companion is a swan!
When Raphael and Ezra first met on the wall, Ezra admitted to stealing Raphaels sword and giving it to Adam and Eve. When asked why, Ezra said, "If I didn't, things wouldn't be nearly as interesting now, would they?"
If you asked this question after the non-apocalypse, they'd simply reply with "out of guilt, I suppose. The poor things."
Raphaels style got stuck in between the 1950s and 1960s while Ezra's got stuck in the 1970s and 1980s as he got completely sucked into goth culture.
Everywhere Ezra goes trails of black feathers follow
Raphael owns a small home in central London. He mostly owns it so that all his plants have a home. Ezra, on the other hand, owns a recordstore/music related pawnshop.
Raphael is very proud of his mustache.
Animals have a tendency to crowd the angel when he steps foot inside st. James park
Ezra's has a whole list of nicknames for Raphael:
Darling
Love
Sweetheart
Pookie
Red
Feathers
Booboo (ironically)
Stud
Kittenwiskers ( Ezra saw that one fucking scene in sherk 3 and decided to start calling Raphael that ironically just to annoy him)
The list goes on for much longer because Ezra invents something new every day
Raphael has one nickname for Ezra, and it's birdie
Ezra invented Ikea while they were drunk

i don’t know if anyone else has this but i hate this conflicting feeling i get where im hesitant to start a new series because im afraid im gonna be obsessed with it and move on from the current (multiple) hyperfixations, you know what i mean.…
anyhow, wake up my darlings! a new series just dropped that starts off with whump— gets whumpy in its first two episodes. a fun sci-fi/spy thriller that has it’s main character, a spy, wake up in a hospital with no memory of who or what he is and his body riddled with scars. ooouuu good (jason bourne) trope right there.
oh, main character played by richard madden aka robb stark aka david budd aka ikaris… hubba hubba!

i was looking up the comic pages of the titans tower attack where jason rips off his shirt to reveal the robin costime underneath, and i didnt manage to read it in full but something i found interesting is that tim says, "you're the red hood. you've been cleaning up gotham the easy way."
i dont have the full context for it, but i love that at least standing alone, there's an implication there that tim thinks killing criminals is effective, and he just doesnt find it challenging enough haha. like, there's a lot of other moral judgements you can make about jason's choice to murder, but instead of any of that, tim just decides to point out it's the easy way. 😂
(okay maybe tim said it in an effort to goad by saying jason's taking the easy way out, but i think it's funnier if tim said it 'cuz he doesnt actually disagree with killing and just doesnt do it cuz he follows the bat lol.)

people always ask me if im going to do something with my art money-wise and it's like... not every hobby artist is destined to make money off it.
it's a huge task to get noticed online, let alone make money. it's like having another job. you have to promote and push yourself and your image. it's like running a business. and there is no way in hell i'm ever going to do that. im tired enough from working full time already. and even when i take time off... i still dont feel like i have enough time to sit down, relax, and work on my art.
and sometimes... people just want to do art as a hobby. not everyone wants to make money off it. and that's okay.

Just..silly thoughts
I swear, whenever I join a fandom: A] I like how there’s always popular things for me to learn QUICKLY and B] usually people like my art so fast awawa it gives me confidence ^ ^
Ok this is not related at all but the books I read NOWADAYS are just so different from years ago…like I AVOIDED DogMan in my younger days. I AVOIDED Sonic, like wha??? I bet younger me would go: Wait, why do we like that now? I thought it was so…weird?
Ok ok only based on the books, the fact I get a usually long, serious, history book is fine. But then I bring a Dog Man book, thinking my librarian is gonna judge me-I’m not too nervous about it, it just makes me go: Ooh you’re gonna be a lil confused aren’t you.
Ok now similar to the first point, gosh I make friends nicely. Irl I probably would avoid talking to new people but when it’s online and we all hyper fixate I socialize A LOT better XD
