okay so he basically grew up in hunnington , his parents were daniel and rayna denali , and they bought the land at denali hill , and built every house that surrounds the area so long story short , they’re loaded .

that’s gave jason such a big head , and such a spoiled personality . he has a twin brother ( ethan dolan *COUGH* come thru ) and both of them are the life of the party and the vein in their parents foreheads .

him and his brother were very spoiled growing up , their parents getting them everything they wanted because they had the money to fund them . they also had the best clothes and the best technology .

he was homeschooled growing up until high school , and then his freshman year his parents finally let him transfer to hunnington high , and thats where he really got off track .

he lost his virginity the first day of freshman year , with a random girl on the football field after their freshman rally . the first time he smoked and drank was freshman year also .

he snuck out of his house multiple times through his freshman year , going out to parties and girls houses just to do whatever he wanted .

during his sophomore year , him , his brother and his parents were traveling to new york for a business conference for his mothers work . on the way back , a tractor trailer slammed into them when they ran a red light . they were ten minutes from their home .

his mother was killed instantly . his father was in the hospital for months with a broken leg and a punctured lung , and spend long after that in centers for the ptsd he got from the accident .

this wrecked jason in a way no one could imagine . he couldn’t be at his house because his moms stuff was there , and everything smelled like her .

he stayed with a buddy for a year until right before his senior year , and trained himself to forget about what happened and forget about the trauma that he and his family went through .

his senior year he went partying every night . his body count went up quicker than ever , it took almost two bottles of whiskey to get him drunk , and all to wash away the memories of his sophomore year .

he barely passed high school because of his and even landed himself in jail once for a dui . his dad didn’t get him out for two days .

once he turned eighteen his father decided to move from denali hill , needing to get away from the horrendous memories that it entailed .

jason stayed back , but moved into a different home in denali hill , the one his mom said was her favorite and she would’ve lived in if they didn’t have their house .

he’s still partying constantly , sleeping around , and not giving a damn to hide the ugly truth behind his mind .

he doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him , doing whatever he wants to do and not wondering what anyone is thinking .

hello hello! my name is casie and i’ll be writing for my sweet angel here, mara! i’m super excited to jump in and get to know you guys and your characters, so if you’d like to plot go ahead and give this a like or shoot me an im and i’ll come at you! (sorry this got super long; if you don’t feel like reading just jump to the first bolded section and read on from there! she’s been living in the bronx for a while is basically all you need to know from the top portion.

mara was born to a french-canadian mother and american father. her father had been on a business trip and her conception was a major secret oopsie. her father had a young family at the time and couldn’t bring her and her mother home with him but he stayed in very close contact and her mother even decided to give mara his last name.

she had a relatively happy childhood in montreal until her mom got sick and sent her to live with her father in new york when it became clear she couldn’t take care of her any longer. she was ten at the time and her dad had long since divorced his wife and been granted partial custody of his other kids.

she was a cheerful and charismatic kid and adjusted to her circumstances as well as could be expected. perfecting her english was a pain in the ass and her step siblings abhored her for a time, but she made friends at school and in the neighborhood and in less than a year she was fully functioning in her new home.

her mother passed away when she was fourteen and that trip back to montreal was her last. her mom had been a very loving and gentle person and her death had a massive impact on mara; she made it her life goal to be the same force of good on the world that she had been.

her dad got laid off during a recession and their living situation dipped quite a bit for a little while. his other kids opted to stay with their mom because their apartment wasn’t exactly located in a great location, but it was enough for mara. she had her own room and they ate well and had ac and heat and that was all she really needed.

she worked at a local restaurant as a waitress all the way through high school and joined as many clubs as she could. her grades were excellent and she had plenty of friends. she even managed to find time for a couple of dates over the years.

she went to nyu for nursing on a full ride via her applying to a million different scholarships and programs and, just like high school, she worked her ass off and got out near the top of her class.

she stayed with her dad for a couple years after that until she’d saved enough to have a good start at which point she found herself her own little apartment and moved out and that’s where she’s been ever since.

a series of unfortunate events:

she suffered a very severe case of ‘wrong place wrong time’ one particular night a few weeks ago. she’d been dead tired walking home from work because she’d forgotten her metro card and hadn’t brought her bike due to the rain.

what happened happened very fast and she still isn’t sure she has a very good grasp of it. once second she was walking home and the next she was knocked to the ground, a giant wolf on top of her with its teeth digging into her right thigh. she screamed, of course, but the alley was dark and the bars around were blasting music too loud.

there were two other people*** there, both managed to drag the wolf off of her and fight it back. she didn’t want to stick around; she’d realized they had weapons of their own.

she made it back to her own apartment, staunching the blood as much as she could by tying her jacket around her leg, and she managed to clean the wound and wrap it up before she passed out.

she had a pretty bad limp for about a week but the bite mark healed into a nasty scar. she chose not to think about it. a wolf in new york city? not a thing. nobody would believe her, even her dad who saw her bite wasn’t sure what to say about it.

her problem, of course, didn’t continue until the first full moon after that. she remembers a lot of pain, confusion, and fear. and then nothing. she woke up the next day in an alley with someone** by her side and her life’s been in a tailspin ever since.

personality/miscellaneous:

she’s an absolute sweetheart; she would literally give someone the shirt off her back (and you can bet your ass she’s given away coats and shoes before).

she’s very charismatic and typically pretty popular. she has a quiet strength about her, but not necessarily a toughness.

she has a cat named ami. she bounced into her home through the window one summer day and hasn’t left since (though recently ami’s been more than a little pensive about her presence).

almost always has her earbuds in playing lofi music on her trips to and from work.

she speaks fluent english and canadian french. her accent still leans french but it’s a lot milder than it used to be.

she is the best cook she knows and if she cooks for you, it’s definitely an act of love.

she picks up way more shifts than she probably should and always has a soft, somewhat sleepy presence when she isn’t actually working.

probably smells like vanilla and oranges quite a bit.

a very very long list of maybe wip’s

Since I'm working on setting up a binder of WIPs for myself - here are all fifty-nine of them. All are Check Please: mostly Jack/Parse, most of the rest Parse-centric, most of the rest Jack-centric, but a few random other fics too. Quite a few of these are only ideas, but most (~75-80%, at least) have anywhere between a few hundred and a few thousand words written, and some have considerably more.

Votes or encouragement as to which particular fics I should work on are very much welcome! And in fact a large part of the point of posting this. Pleaseee tell meeee what you want to seeeee.

JACK/PARSE IN THE Q

golden haze - Kent was Jack's first real friend, ever.

crash into me - Jack likes crashing into things. Kent likes being crashed into. Checking practice, kind of, Jack/Parse style.

one warm line - Parse wakes Jack up one night in the middle of their Q years, throwing pebbles at his window. They're going for a ride.

i'm so high - Jack and Kent hook up for the first time at a party when they're smoking weed, when the smallest touches feel like so much.

the beat of the tambourine - Parse picks up a girl for Zimms. For a threesome. Before they're together, back in the Q.

closing the guest room door - Alicia walks in on Kent blowing Jack. It's the first time it's happened, too. The Zimmermanns hadn't known anything about any of this, but now they do.

beneath the waves - There are two attractions in Rimouski: the Juniors ice hockey team, and a maritime museum. Jack kind of wants to live on a submarine.

edge of glory - Kent kisses Jack high on adrenaline and the win, feeling unstoppable. They only have thirty-four days together, but they start out pretty great.

ace kent fucks jack - Kent doesn't care that much about fucking, but he cares too much about Jack.

don't make promises - Kent visits the Zimmermanns after Jack's out of rehab, and Jack scares him even more.

JACK/PARSE CANON DIVERGENCE

find your lips in the streetlights - Kent and Jack run away from the mounting and dangerous pressure of the Q. And Jack almost dies from benzo withdrawal; nice move?

what's the multiplier for i love you - Parse has a career-ending injury at seventeen. He ends up going to Samwell, and starts managing the hockey team there before Jack even shows up.

one skate in front of the other - In which Jack wakes up from his overdose to find out he's still been drafted in absentia. To the Las Vegas Aces, third round.

different verse same as the first - Jack manages to get through Draft Day successfully. He ODs about a year later, at his first NHL awards; Parse still finds him in the bathroom.

JACK/PARSE POST CANON ISH

jackparse goat fic - Kent is outed during Jack's last semester at Samwell. It's a spark that makes Jack talk to him again: and again, and again, with starts and stops along the way.

bitty's bad bakery - Turning a profit doing something you love is really freaking hard. Just cause Bitty's good at baking doesn't mean he'll be good at running a bakery; and Jack can only finance it for so long, no longer. Cue Kent the accountant showing up to help.

max assholes au - In which Jack marries Bitty with Kent's spunk still in his mouth.

may the bridges i have burned light my way back home - Jack's nearing thirty. His performance is flagging, his boyfriend broke up with him, and now he's at Kent Parson's thirtieth birthday party, wondering how else his life could've gone.

conference room fuck - You can't put Parson and Zimmerman in a room together. But if you do, you can't keep them from fucking.

functional exes - After Jack cheated on Bitty with Kent, and it all blew up spectacularly; after some damanged friendships were restored. Jack and Bitty are both there for Shitty's wedding. Bitty's a pro at keeping things civil; Jack… wants to apologize?

JACK/PARSE IN TOTAL AU'S

the hockey prince - Jack is a Prince; Kent was his best friend, and his right hand man. Till Jack disappeared in mysterious circumstances, and Kent may or may not be to blame.

ai romance - Jack is an AI that was always meant to drive a robot. Parse is, well, a parser. The part of a computer program that takes in and processes input, before it passes it on to the real heart of the program. A part which, it turns out, can't work right without its parser after all.

cult au - SMH is a cult house! That's why everyone there has to always be happy. Pies make people like you; flip cup is a good fill-in for a hippie ritual; and no wonder Jack cut off everyone he used to know when he joined.

cut the legs off the whales - Jack and Parse were soulmates. Jack died for three seconds, and now they're both stuck with half a broken bond, with all the luck at hockey - or at life.

JACK/PARSE NON-ENDGAME

you're still my patron saint - Jack's OD is fatal. Kent's got the biggest chip in the world on his shoulder. Hockey killed his boyfriend, and he wins the Stanley Cup, and then he comes out, furious.

progress report (i am missing you to death) - AKA 'five times Kent tells Jack "I miss you," and one time he doesn't.'

can you say menange a trois - Zimbits porn featuring dirty talk about the absent Kent Parson, because Bitty's 'Kent parson. Wow.' face reads easily as 'dead from too much hot.'

married in vegas - Jack and Parse get accidentally married after a Falcs/Aces game, cause you've just gotta have the trope when in Vegas. Starts with Jack still in love with Bitty, not sure where it was supposed to end up.

scalene - Jack and Parse aren't fighting over Bitty. They're fucking over Bitty. I mean.

Looking to the Future

"Hey Oz, what has Glynda looking like.....what the hell happened to you?!"

The headmaster of Beacon sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. He should have been expecting Qrow's reaction, but that still didn't make it any more welcome. "Hello Qrow, I take it you've been having a nice break."

Qrow was not to be deterred as he walked towards the man's desk. "Don't change the subject, Oz. You look you haven't slept in a week! Don't tell me...."

Ozpin shook his head, his pounding from the desire for caffeine yet not taking a single sip of coffee. "I actually fell asleep last night."

That seemed to startle the shape shifter, knowing full well the meaning behind those words. "You went to sleep on your own? Without Glynda making you take your sleeping medication?"

The headmaster nodded sternly. "Yes."

The ex bandit seemed to be at a loss for words before he spoke softly. "So, another dream of the past. What was it this time, the war?"

Ozpin's expression became even more solemn as he stared down at his coffee mug. "No, it wasn't another's memories I dreamed of."

That got the tension in the air to rise ever so slightly, Qrow knowing full well that there was probably a very good reason the Headmaster has never really talked about his past. It was something he could understand all too well.

Seeing the expression on the huntsman's face, the wizard quickly went to correct his train of thought. "It wasn't my memories either. I'm pretty sure what I saw wasn't the past, but rather the future."

Qrow's eyes widened in disbelief. "You can do that?!"

"I can't control it if that's you're asking. It comes and goes, the images themselves can be bleary, and it can be frustrating as I don't know exactly when those events will happen. Even after all these years, I feel as if I have barely scratched the surface of these powers. Compared to my predecessor....what I've accomplished is but a fraction of what he was capable of."

Qrow sighed as he got closer to Ozpin, his voice comforting. "The King of Vale was the King of Vale, you're you. What is it you told the newest maiden not too long ago?"

Ozpin felt his lips twitch into a smile. " 'No two people to hold the same power are alike. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Give it time and you will find yours.' Those were actually my mentor's words to me when I first began training. Granted, the rest of her training wasn't particularly uplifting..."

"Still, I'd say it's pretty good advice."

The headmaster's amber eyes darkened a bit at that. "Yes, but that maiden has plenty of time ahead of her, whereas I...."

The words made the atmosphere turn uncomfortable. In any other circumstances, Qrow would have pressed the older man for answers, but this was the time to show restraint. The headmaster needed to gather his thoughts before he could express them fully.

Finally he spoke. "I dreamt of my successor."

Qrow couldn't speak, all he could feel was utter shock at the calm manner at which Ozpin had said this.

The wizard smiled reassuringly before he went on. "Don't worry, I still have plenty of time left. The old king told me when explaining this that he first dreamed of me long before he passed on. From what I've come to understand, the dreams usually start sometime between the future Wizard's conception and birth though from what I've read in the old writings it can start earlier than that. Still, it's quite sobering to think about it. I knew it would happen eventually, but.....I guess I'm being selfish in having hoped for more time."

Qrow shook his head. "I'd call that less selfishness and more human nature, Oz. Nobody likes being reminded they'll die someday."

Ozpin nodded, glancing back down at his coffee. "True, but it's something I have to think about. Well, it just means I'll have to accelerate some things."

That left Qrow almost speechless. Most people upon learning that death was coming for them (even if it may not be for a while) tended to react in either anger or denial. Very few reacted to it as calmly as Ozpin. Even Qrow, who before Beacon had seen death as release rather than something to be feared, wouldn't have been that calm.

Eventually, the corvid spoke up. "So.....what did you see of your successor?"

"I couldn't really see what he looked like, it was very blurry, but I think he was with a girl his age and from the way they talking, they seemed.....close."

Qrow had to bit back a laugh. "Wait.....are you telling me you saw your successor on a date?"

Ozpin's amber eyes sharpened, his tone just as sharp. "This isn't a joke Qrow!"

"Alright, alright. What, is falling in love forbidden?"

Ozpin finally took a sip of his coffee, trying to calm himself down. "Technically, no. There's nothing really against loving someone, but that complicates things even more. All the memories I have of those that came before me; there is the constant struggle to balance their duty with their personal lives. As a result, it tends to make things very strained with loved ones when duty eventually wins out. Not to mention, it makes them targets. And after seeing the mess the King of Vale left behind with his family.....I decided to dedicate myself solely to my role."

That piqued the corvid's curiosity. "What kind of mess?"

Ozpin flinched before his expression returned to normal. "Let's just say that in order to secure my path, he sacrificed someone else's. It's a long story and one I don't particularly like telling. Suffice to say, seeing my successor getting attached to someone so quickly.....is worrisome."

Qrow nodded in understanding, before sighing. "I see."

That led to a silence with Qrow about to say more before he caught the expression on Ozpin's face and stopped himself. It was as if the older man was debating whether or not say something. It seemed as if the desire won out in the end.

"Though, considering the same thing happened to me, I'm not in much of a positon to judge."

Qrow was silent with surprise as Ozpin went on. "It was the first time I ever knew I loved anyone. The first time I was treated like a person and not a......Honestly, I was just happy being by that person's side that I never felt the need to speak of my feelings. Besides, it was unrequited; that person was quite older than me and I think I was viewed more as a younger brother."

The turn of events made the huntsman feel incredibly awkward, he felt like Tai would be able to relate more easily to this conversation. "I take it they've passed on a while ago."

The headmaster's hand went to the cross pin, clenching it like a life line."Disappeared on a mission back when I was still young. I didn't know for certain that person was dead until a couple of years ago. And all I learned just gave me more questions than answers."

"Did that person know about.....?"

Ozpin cut him off curtly. "No, not at all. I mean, I'm pretty sure there were suspicions in that person's mind that I wasn't normal, but I never said anything and neither did anyone at the time who knew."

"So Salem couldn't known?"

"No, though I have no doubt she would have done something if she did. She always did want to hurt the Wizard in anyway possible, even brutally torturing and killing those who's only crime was loving someone she despised with all her heart. From what I understand, that person fell fighting alone to regular Grimm. So, that's a comfort I suppose."

Qrow honestly didn't see it that way, but the way this conversation was going bugged him. It then struck him that Ozpin had only referred to them as 'that person.' Odd.

Then the mood shifted from the somberness as Ozpin changed the subject with an odd tone. "Oh yes, how's Summer doing?"

Qrow answered, a little off guard. "Oh, she's fine. Honestly, she's got the patience of the saint to be helping out with Yang. Tai's also getting a bit better."

"That's good, I hadn't heard anything in a while. Anyway, there isn't anything pressing at the moment so you could just head back. Enjoy what calm we can in this time."

Qrow smiled, turning to walk away before he remembered something. "If you say so.....speaking of dreams, I really had a weird one last night."

That seemed to pique the headmaster's interest. "Oh?"

"Yeah, I was crying so much in my dream I woke up crying. Summer said it meant I was dreaming of someone I've yet to meet. Honestly, I'm still not sure whether or not my subconscious created some different form of Summer. Still, there were some stuff I could never associate with Summer and that girl who comforted the me as a crying child; I mean Summer's cloak is white, not red...."

SHATTER!

The sudden noise startled the huntsman deeply as he saw the cause. Ozpin's favorite coffee mug had fallen to the floor, shattering and causing the brown liquid to flow. And from Ozpin's oddly twitching eyes and hand placement, it seemed as if the Wizard had dropped it himself.

Something that Qrow had thought impossible. "Oz, are you okay?!"

That brought the headmaster back into the moment as he sighed, looking down at where his coffee now was. "I'm fine, really....I better call in the janitor."

"Are you sure?"

He raised his hand, halting any more inquiries from Qrow. "I'm fine. Just....very tired. Could you send Glynda in with my medicine? I think I'm ready to take it now."

That wasn't everything, but Qrow knew that Ozpin didn't react well to pressing. You could only wait for him to tell you what was on your mind. "Alright, I'll come back again next week. Call me if something comes up."

"I will. Goodbye Qrow."

That ended the conversation for the two, the shape shifter turning back towards the elevator. It wasn't until the doors had closed behind Qrow and the sound of the elevator taking him down dinged that Ozpin finally letting out his real thoughts from his dream. "A girl in a red cloak....seems he doesn't know the full superstition....still, it can't be, but yet...."

That just led the man to let out the greatest sigh of his life. If this is Fate trying to funny, I am NOT laughing.

Here's my sequel to my last musing. Lot's of head canon territory, then again anything that is not directly contradicted by the source material can be seen as canon.

Next time, I think I'll do something with Oscar.

While Sherlock works to save her, Molly finds ways to torment, injure, and outwit her captors. Whether she escapes on her own, finds a way to let Sherlock and John know where she’s at, or ends up driving her kidnappers crazy to the point that they give up and send her back is up to the author. Clique/Sherlock Crossover - After the events of TFP, Molly Hooper (who is actually Jude McDermid) decides to go back to Edinburgh, broken-hearted & bound to continue the “family business” after years of running away from it. Years passed, she forms the Solasta Women’s Initiative, much to her brother’s delight, until a horrific event brings Sherlock Holmes back into her world again. It’s more of a Sherlolly/Judelock mash-up where Sherlock wants to know why she left, who she really is, & how he’s still madly in love with her. Molly/Jude is more like she’s finally embracing the life she thought she never wanted, until she realizes that she can never forget the love she has for Sherlock. Can she be Jude & love him as well? Can Sherlock accept her true reality, or does he only love her as Molly & not Jude. Throw in a nice mystery/thriller plot too! Oh yeah Mycroft, who knew Molly is Jude from the beginning but decided to let Sherlock figure it out on his own, is determined to stop this union at all cost. Pls include all the girls & guys in Clique, especially Holly since she’s a badass off to take down Jude and her “girls” no matter what! Have you had sex? – After Euros asked that I somehow thought “Molly??” (as Sherlock says, Irene only texts him, he doesn’t reply). Later it seems that Euros is the only one who ever has noticed that Molly causes some emotions in him. So my theory is that something happened between Molly and Sherlock, it happened pretty recently, somehow (stressful night and they talked or they had some drinks and somehow one thing led to another) they ended up having sex; but Sherlock wasn’t good at dealing with it after or something urgent came along and he didn’t really consider Molly’s emotions, he ran off right after or in the morning, and that could be the reason why Molly didn’t pick up the phone first and was in a bad mood during the “ILY scene”. What happened between them recently is the reason why Molly is a bit rude to Sherlock when he calls, and the reason why she gets so emotional and raw so easily over the I Love You thing, and why she so easily tells him to say it first. Well, then when Sherlock says “I love you” he finally realizes fully that he really does love her too, and that he is capable of loving that way, and finally sees how easy it could be and what he could lose. Then after this whole thing he goes to talk to Molly and explain things to her. - @lullikiish

Complete me as a person. — Scene that popped into my mind. Irene has been texting Sherlock again, Sherlock in the end almost agrees to meet her for dinner, but as he’s walking out of his flat while Molly is there looking after Rosie he sees Molly in kind of slo-mo in the golden evening sun holding Rosie and being all sweet. Maybe already something a bit has happened before between them, some flirting, etc. The talk with John about a relationship completing him as a person is on the back of his mind. He walks out, but midway down the stairs while taking his phone out (symbolically in darkness compared to that evening sun) he realizes that he misses that warmth and Molly, and realizes that is what completes him. He takes out his phone and texts he’s not coming and then goes back upstairs. Sees Molly all adorable and confused/surprised in this beautiful light and maybe goes to kiss her, etc. - @lullikiish

A post TRF fic, where Sherlock takes Molly with him, but they return to London a couple years later than in canon because Molly got pregnant along the way (or even twice), so now they are three/four of them instead of two? - @mychakk

Quite a lot of sex with Sherlock instead of Tom. Molly the best man’s date. A (sophisticated. Or not) Molly/Janine cat fight for Janine hitting on SH moments. Dancing, so much Sherlolly dancing (and no leaving early). Probably no Shezza (Shezzer?)—which, hmm, is a shame (But maybe they’ve their own not-being-on-a-sex-holiday-but-sexing-a-lot time). A real proposal to Molly. Molly at family Christmas, maybe even a Christmas wedding. Solving CAM without the threat of exile sharpens Sherlock’s deductive abilities. No Norbury as Molly’s already expecting their first offspring, so Sherlock doesn’t taunt needlessly. Mary as the Sherlolly baby godmother as she’s alive! Culverton Smith is taken down by the duo of Mary and Molly while the latter gives birth there (because the ladies are awesome, plus Mrs H tackles him down). John is so impressed he doesn’t look at any other women. Molly’s big heart brings Eurus from her metaphoric plane the moment she steps into 221B, plus baby Holmes wins her heart too. The Holmes family reconciliation and Eurus is in therapy instead of being a multi-killer. Baker Street Boys Team continues while Baker Street Girls Team gives them a run for their money. Mycroft asks Lady Smallwood out himself to her astonishment and internal squealing. Mummy Holmes gets more grandkids than she could’ve imagined. And basically, everyone walks happily into the sunset. AU: Molly runs away from home when her parents try to arrange a marriage for her. She wants to pursue a life that involves science and marry for love if she ever gets married at all. He discovers that she has a security detail, curtesy of Sherlock. Molly is not pleased with this situation. Sherlock doesn’t understand why not, shouldn’t she be glad that he cares about her safety? After getting an earful from Molly, he cancels the security detail. Molly promptly leaves town without a word to anyone, leaving Sherlock to sweat. Is she okay? Most likely she is on a beach sipping Margaritas, but maybe she’s in trouble. He would like to make amends but first he as to find her.
