thinking his sniper skills would translate just as well from real guns to rigged carnival games, soap drags ghost along to a fair in order to ‘impress him’ and win a few prizes, but as it turns out, these games are really rigged (an excuse? maybe) and soap does not succeed beyond winning ghost a small stuffed bear that already has stuffing peeking out of its cheap seams.

soap is disappointed but happy enough when ghost says their night was good—but that doesn’t stop his pride from bruising a little. unlike the poor shots he’d taken, his ego takes a direct hit.

but then soap finds out, months later, that ghost keeps that stupid bear with him whenever possible—and if that doesn’t have soap feeling some kind of way, he’s not sure what could.
