ok so i was ranting so i was being very repetitive but yk so here:

kinda pissed about purpled's treatment within the fandom and specifically within the fanfic community

im prefacing the with im also an inniter, benchtrio, amd sbi fan.

starting out with the sheer amount of bad takes i see. theres so many but without as many good takes bc hes just not popular within the dsmp

im so fucking tired of him getting lumped in with bench trio. i am guilty of this with mcc teaming but within the dsmp it makes no sense. especially with people putting him in a platonic marriage with tommy. it makes no sense for his character. PURPLED DECLARED TOMMY HIS ENEMY even him being friends with c!ranboo is nonsensical. purpleds whole thing is being terrified of being forgotten. paired with ranboos memory issues? dumb as shit. even the cc! ourpled and ranboo have only talked one time on stream being the mr beast 100k gift card hunt. i think itd be cool but there's absolutely nothing to base it off of.

fanfic tagging my beloathed. there are so few purpled fics comparatively already and so many im hopeful for but hes just mentioned for a paragraph at BEST. then theres hoards of people lumping him with sbi and bench trio. found family with thrm. it just makes no sense. they treat him like hes helpless. he never was. yes hes traumatized but he has never been helpless. tired twt (the only foujd family that makes sense for him imo) is harder to find than business bay fics and those are once every 2 weeks. so many people send him off to hermitcraft to heal with tommy and theyee besties and soft and they make no sense. the only hermit purpled fic that feels like it's actually him is one where he starts a business where he does smplive-esque merc/prank work after killing each and every person. im so tired.

so true!! i love cpurp but it is so difficult to find fanfics about him that aren't horribly ooc or ones where he barely shows up

i love tapl harvey! i dont really watch him because he usually does speedrunning streams which i Just Cannot Watch, but he's so funny. im so so sorry the fanbase for him here is basically nonexistant, even more than the purpled fanbase.
