Yo I've got another for my by now mixed Tolkien survey series:
(yes, I over-simplified stuff, and had to exclude Tulkas, Melkor & Mandos for lack of answer-options, just comment if you'd have picked them)

Hi! I really liked your post about the Valar. I’ve always been kinda confused about the differences between Vana and Yavana. Could you maybe talk more about them?
this post I assume?
Yavanna is one of the Aratar, the most powerful of the Valar. She is the creator of most flora and fauna through her own song and collaboration with the domains of others. Trees are her greatest joy. She is known as the Earth Mother in her second name
Vána the Everyoung is the younger sister to Yavanna. Songbirds and flowers are her great joy and she represents spring and rebirth.
In canon she doesn’t have a lot of power or role which is in part why I wanted to write what I did in the linked post, about the cycles of life and death, decay and restoration being in her domain.
I hope I understood your question, anon! As always please feel free to ask more

Last but not least, we have Vana! Can you tell I didn't use a reference for the flowers...

I really like how the Ëste the Vala of healing's main element is sleep. Not herbs and tonics or physical therapy or conventional medicine or anything like that. All of that is important and good for healing, but the at base of it all is sleep. Just naps and a good night's rest can do wonders for anyone so it would make sense that if she's all about healing, her main thing would be sleep.

@arwenindomiel Tolkien South Asian Week: Day 1 ➙ Vana the Everyoung
The spouse of Oromë is Vána, the Ever-young; she is the younger sister of Yavanna. All flowers spring as she passes and open if she glances upon them; and all birds sing at her coming.
