TLDR; I didn't copy Emthim, these color palettes and markings are everywhere in the fankid community. I love her and her art, and I will eat both her fankids and my tiny one.

No. I did not copy Stellar. Vespera's colors and markings were purely coinflipped (aside from the star, that was already going to happen because of Shadow's nickname 'starlight' for her).

Many fankids share similar color palettes AND markings AND backstories. Vespera shares the same origin story with Stellar and many, many other fankids. The whole test tube baby created by Eggman stealing DNA from Shadow and Sonic is a popular one, and mine does have differences.

The only thing Emthim gave me, was the aggressive urge to make my own fankid. Her art and posts of Stellar and her other fankids were attacking my feed while I was out of town in another state, the post of my Dadow and Vespera I drew the same day I got home from an 8 hour drive LOL.

I had issues on my end with some technicalities and media’s. eg a lot of characters from the hatchetfield musicals by team starkid were just submitted as hatchetfield which made it harder to search for them to identify them and get pictures etc. If those and similar fandoms could be submitted with what musical etc they’re from that would be great :)

Retired Battlemage: Aspen has spent decades honing her craft as a wielder of aethric magics, and perhaps even longer as a student of various sword disciplines. Despite this she's reluctant to pick up her sword and focus again. She briefly returned to the field during the final days of the Ala Mhigan Resistance, so fighters involved there may have run across her. Other former Garlean captives could also have run across her.

Kitchen Witch: Asa was always a natural in the kitchen, even back in Golmore, but since moving to Gridania she has stepped up her game dramatically. An avid collector of cookbooks and recipes in general she enjoys putting her own curious spin on recipes. She's not opposed to infusing meals with magic either for effect or as a tastier way of administering remedies.

Gelmorran Explorer: Aspen's curiosity for all things Gelmorran started with a fascination with the many varied mun-tuy bean recipes she's discovered since moving to the shroud. Since then the process of discovering and clearing old tunnels has become something of a hobby. A filthy, sweaty hobby, but a fulfilling one.

Card Collector: Aspen collects Astrologian card sets, and is particularly interested in old or rare varieties that depict other incarnations of the Twelve. She may not worship the gods of Eorzea, but she finds their mythology fascinating, particularly their ties to the stars. Also, she's learned quickly it's better not to appear as a conjurer while staying in Gridania and is happy to mask her white magic use as something else.

First pass at teen/adult Vespera-- She has Shadow's aesthetic (obviously, thanks to Dadow dressing her for the most part her entire childhood, she just got hooked on it), Shadow's natural scowl, as well as being an introvert like him. Despite her resting bitch face, she's actually really shy and sweet. Put her around people she likes, and she instantly becomes a toned down Sonic around them.
