I see a train of hurt/comfort and all i got to say is--

MC is a guard right, and that means they're probably getting hurt all the time and used to bandaging themselves up (after all, sometimes you don't have the time to wait).

But.. that doesn't nessacarily mean they're good at it. And since I'm a med student, i can confirm it is easy af for an improper stitch to break or come undone and if the person moves too much.

V - Blocks MC's escape path and grabs them to give them a kiss themself. And then maybe an extra one for good measure. "There you go," they'd say once the deed is done. And then, just like that, they'd let MC leave.

With all of V's reactions I can just imagine them being in a nonsensical argument with MC and if the MC suddenly says something like

And V just...Poor them might break against an MC who's super honest with their feelings. Will they at some point confide in K about how they feel? They need to be honest with someone about it

they would not confide in kallias because their view of them is first and foremost the crown and next ruler of their kingdom. they don't know kallias on a personal level like some of the other characters do (plus v canonically has a shallow crush on kallias in the beginning of the story so that would add an extra layer of awkwardness lmao)

they do have a friend among the knights though (one of the only people willing to put up with their shitty attitude) and they would confide in him for sure, although in a more roundabout way!

you can go either an enemies with benefits route or a more slow burn "v realizes they were wrong about mc before the romance stuff really begins", so depending on which one your mc goes, their complaints may vary...

Kallias - A whole day to celebrate themself? Sign them the FUCK up!!! Okay no but in all seriousness, they would like to celebrate it surrounded by loved ones! They don't even need a big party or anything they just want to feel appreciated but uhhh that doesn't happen often, they usually spend the evening of their birthday either in a tavern or a stranger's bed LOL RIP

MC goes out of their way to do something heartfelt? Kallias starts drafting up some wedding vows in their head right then and there, but more through feelings than through words because they're kind of forgetting every word they've ever learned ever. They'll communicate their gratitude to the best of their ability through physical affection. It's the only way they know how. Get ready for hugs. Might tackle MC to the ground. Might pick them up and spin them around. Depends on the vibe in the moment. They'd probably laugh a lot, just giddy. They wouldn't cry, because they simply Do Not Cry, but they'd want to.

Galen - Honestly, they forget it even is their birthday most years. They aren't even entirely sure how old they are... they stopped keeping track a long time ago. Their birthdays go by like any other day and they're okay with that.

MC doing something cute and heartfelt for them for their birthday would definitely put some chips in their stoic demeanour! It just. It means a lot to them that MC actually cares enough to go out of their way like that. But honestly their reaction probably wouldn't look like much externally. They'd say "thank you" and they'd mean "I don't know how to repay you but I know that I don't want to leave your side". They want to let MC know how much it means to them, but they can't find the words, and they're also... scared. Even if they had everything they wanted to say perfectly planned out, those thoughts might never leave the confines of their mind.

V - They like to act like they don't care about their birthday, but they kind of do. It's nice to have the reminder that they're a person, sometimes. It's easy to forget when you've got a one-track mind like theirs. They don't tell people about their birthday regardless; they like spending it alone, usually not with a cake or even anything cake-adjacent. They'll wait til the sun goes down, and then they'll slap a piece of salmon or something on a plate in the middle of the table and stick a candle on it. They don't make wishes, they think that's childish, but they might pray a little. And perhaps, for them, it means the same thing.

V doesn't like the feeling of being known. It's unsettling, makes them feel almost—gags—vulnerable. MC finds out it's their birthday and actually does something nice for them? Makes them uneasy. They're not used to being cared about like this. They find the action unnecessary, but they're also not mad about it. It's just... strange. Weird. Off. Their hands itch without a weapon to fill in the space. They don't know how to do things gently, but isn't that what they're supposed to do, in a situation like this? Whooo knows. Definitely not V. The most they can do to show their appreciation (is that what they're feeling? They've never been so out of their depth before) is to engage in whatever MC's prepared to the fullest.

Kallias - Likes to cuddle completely entangled, making contact everywhere possible, bonus points for having their partner's head on their chest. Just like you Anon, it is NOT ENOUGH until there aren't seams left between the two of them!!!! Isn't enough unless they're sharing organs!!!! Very tight grip, very clingy, doesn't care about sweat. Serves to be an issue later if they wanna escape, but in the moment it feels like the best possible idea. Kallias has to be the big spoon in order for them to actually be comfortable though, otherwise they'll simply be very... Not comfortable. LMAO

Galen - Kind of just likes when their cuddle partner just... lays right on top of them. Weighted blanket vibes, you know <3 But if it's like sleepytime cuddling, it would take them a very long time to get used to actually physically sleeping in the same room as someone else, even without the cuddling involved. Oftentimes I think they'd just lay awake until morning, listening to the birds' dawn chorus, watching the light from the window turn blue, then orange, then yellow. They'd pretend to have been asleep out of considerations for the other party's feelings, and no one would be any the wiser.

V - Not much of a cuddler, especially if the goal is to fall asleep during it. They're a light sleeper to begin with, and the thought of having another person there makes them uneasy. In general, the most they can do is hold hands or touch knees or something, but I can also totally see them coming home after a long day and just laying on their stomach on top of MC, crushing them beneath their weight. Kind of like a cat, I guess! Just build their trust and let them come to you!

i think vampire kallias would cradle your neck if they bit you. they are a neck cradler that's just how they do and it's a prerequisite in all things. also the type to prick your lip while kissing. for funsies! maybe don't give them the chance to bite actually because then they'll become obsessed and god knows they have no impulse control they might drain you by accident 🌟💫

So sorry to all my Galenmancers but it is very likely that they aren't going to be the one making the first move LMAO. If your MC is oblivious to Galen's feelings (which is fair because we all know Galen isn't the most expressive person. I don't think they're above trying to communicate their affection telepathically), I hope that they're at least aware of their own and willing to act on them because if not? Things will be... very slow going. Very slow. Galen doesn't expect reciprocation, so they will see little point in confessing. They're perfectly content to pine forever, thank you very much. Nothing could get them to budge but MC themself being direct about their interest.

V - I think, at least initially, V would be thankful for MC's obliviousness. They're still trying to grapple with their feelings themself, after all. This highly depends on how far into their route you are, because... every RO start out as a big spoon for their own reasons. They won't necessarily end up there, but!

Kallias prefers being the big spoon at first because their own brain is their worst enemy. Can't elaborate beyond that because spoilers <3 But like... if you want to be the big spoon they will not complain.

Galen is a big spoon at first simply because they have never tried being a little spoon. No one has ever offered lol oops like you got this Very Tall and Large person it only makes sense that they'd be the cuddler and not the cuddlee. (WRONG.)

They would enjoy being the little spoon if they got time (in weeks. like exposure therapy) to get accustomed to it [: Their past makes them a little sensitive to their sleeping conditions if the goal is to sleep. But if they trust you enough...

V is a big spoon at first 1) because of their wings. Very big and there are very many of them. It would just... be hard to navigate... you'd suffocate in their feathers. and 2) because they'd bite your head off if you suggested anything else. Kallias - Marriage is kind of huge for Kallias for obvious reasons <3 The person they marry matters, not just to them and their family but their whole kingdom. And maybe some other kingdoms too, depending on who they're marrying. They're sure the Queen is going to try to marry them off to some random royal, and they'll only be able to fight it for so long.

They don't feel like much in the way of personal desire to be married. They just want to find people they like and spend the rest of their life with them, be it platonic or romantic. They love grand, dramatic gestures like proposals and weddings, but they don't like the rigidity and constraints that come with the traditional idea of marriage, if that makes any sense. They want a tailor-made experience for them and their partner.

As for children... Kallias will definitely have bouts of baby fever at some points by looking at cute kids, but also raising a living (for now) breathing (for now) organism who is ENTIRELY dependent on you for their survival is kind of scary. Also their relationship with their younger sibling makes it even harder for them to get used to the idea of having a kid, because. Well. Their relationship is... tense. Mostly because of Kallias. So. They aren't sure if they're the best type of person to have children.

Galen - Galen would love to get married one day, but they'd also be content without it. They don't need the actual marriage part so much as they like the idea of the promise. But they don't give themself much time to indulge in such fantasies... there are more realistic things to use their time on.

Galen's something of a child magnet, given that they're some huge hulking person who has the strength to carry two kids on each arm during their walks through town. They're kind of like a portable playground LOL They'd like to have children of their own someday, but they don't need to. They're perfectly happy with surrounding themself with animals instead. (The animals are non-negotiable.)

V - Ah, marriage... what a wonderful idea that does not interest V in the slightest! They're too focused on their job and becoming the world's greatest to bother with that sort of thing. (However. It is... possible... that angels just have different courting rituals than humans do. It's possible that they might like the idea of those better. It's also possible that if their partner wanted marriage V would go through with it just to make them happy, because it's no skin off V's back. Possibly.)

Having children would definitely take some convincing for V. It's not a non-negotiable, but... they just. Don't derive any joy from the thought of parenthood as they are right now. This is not to say that they'd be a shitty parent if they did become one, just that it'd take some extra effort. I believe that love is an action, not a feeling, and if V was convinced to have a child I have no doubt that they'd love their child fiercely.

Kallias is BY FAR the most disobedient, but I had to think about the other two for a second. V and Galen are more even than I initially thought.

V's a knight, they have to be good at following orders. And they do, it's just that MC won't see a lot of their obedient side, because every time MC shows up all of V's common sense goes straight out the window. And Galen... is Galen. LMFAO
