👀 senri kita and/or wada sachiko?

Senri Kita/Kita Senri

An incredibly versatile artist overall. Senri does an amazing job working with a wide range of facial structures. Their artwork of Caineghis is STELLAR and probably one of my favorite pieces. They're amazing at drawing hair and poses. And as you can see from Caineghis, Muarim, and Dozla, they're great at facial expressions, too. HOWEVER, I do think criticism-wise that their strongsuit is at drawing musclely or chiseled male characters (aforementioned characters and also Dheginsea, Tibarn, and Volke); characters more on the twink side (Ike, Aelfric, B!Marth, and kiiinda Ryoma) tend to be a bit underwhelming. They draw female characters well, but again, I'd say that the female characters aren't where their skills shine through the most (Except for Ashera and Altina, I like them both). Overall, Kita Senri is an 8/10 artist. I pretty much like almost all their art.

2. Wada Sachiko

OK, the first thing I want to point out about Sachiko's artwork is the eyes.

Sachiko draws absolutely gorgeous eyes.

Look at how vibrant they are, they're so bright and colorful. They're also really good at using capes as a line of motion. Their artwork of both men and women is really solid, though personally (Just personally) I tend to lean more towards their artwork of women, especially with how well they draw Titania. But like I said, they're pretty great at drawing both, especially when you look at Halloween Hector. Older and more chiseled, they do a great job differentiating him from when they drew Legendary Hector.

I'd say the only criticism I have is that I don't think archery pose-drawing is their strong suit most of the time. Their drawing of Claude and Leonie is probably the best, but when you look at poses like L!Lyn, Shinon, and Virion, the poses are kinda... meh. Stiff a bit. I think they work best with physical weapon drawing, because like I said I LOVE Titania, and B!Eirika and B!Roy look great.

9/10 for Sachiko.

Sorry for dropping another question but I kinda forgot to say this…

- But did you know that Sencha actually drew Linus in one of his Cipher card? (Meaning that Sencha is capable of drawing men at some point)

- I should also mention this but Wada Sachiko made a drawing of Lloyd for The Blazing Blade’s 20th anniversary on Twitter and it’s pretty good so far. (*cross fingers for Wada Sachiko to illustrate a Lloyd alt*)

I just went to check it out and while I’m impressed that Sencha drew something that WASN’T a girl… I’m definitely not partial to that piece, and I’ll post it below:

I’ll give credit where credit is due, that piece was clearly drawn a while ago and Sencha’s coloring skills have definitely improved with FEH. But I am not a fan of his face, something about it looks incredibly off and I think it’s the eyes (which look super girly, not a bad trait for someone else but it doesn’t fit Linus) and the mouth (which looks a little funky due to the color choice). Also man the shading on his muscles, that’s rough. Meka and Suekane Kumiko are certainly more practiced at drawing muscles and giving them definition.

Ok let’s take a look at Wada Sachiko’s anniversary piece-

That’s an amazing piece. I think I’m hoping for that too, now.

Despite the flaws this game has, as well as my criticisms for it, I still enjoy it at the end of the day.

Also goodness gracious I still remember in 2017, when people were talking about how there'll be a Fire Emblem spin-off game for mobile devices and stuff like that, and now look at how far we've come ;w;

Alright. I am awake now and can look at the CYL designs.

Wow they really just gave poor Corrin a tiara and a cape and called it a day huh? Also have I mentioned I despise the panties out look? DESPISE it. Art is really pretty though I suppose.

Don’t know what else anyone expected for Soren. His Archsage outfit wasn’t in the game yet so obviously that’s what they’d go for. Again, art is pretty. I don’t like Soren. That’s immaterial here but I’m petty.

Gullveig is in the free OC’s outfit. Art looks nicer than her base. I cannot find it in myself to care at all, I don’t honestly believe anyone really cares.

Robin! IS was sweating when they realised they’d already made a Grandmaster alt I guess. I do actually like this outfit though! Poofy sleeves and pretty colours. He looks dashing! And I usually love Wada Sachiko’s art. That said I do definitely understand people getting annoyed that Robin seems to mostly exist in FEH as an accessory to Chrom (seriously you couldn’t have put anyone else in related characters?)

Cyril?! IS remembered he exists!!! Post-TS Cyril too, which is a bit of a surprise. Art is nice, hope he’s decent as a unit!
