need to see some more subversive wigfrid in parings that shes frequently in. missed opportunity fr. wesfrid where wigfrid feels comfortable enough to act more lowkey around wes. who feels safe enough to be calm, to be quiet, and to live in the moment without fear of others considering her uncharacteristically peaceful. willowfrid where willow feels emboldened to step up to the plate and keep wigfrid safe for once, instead of the other way around- especially including (but not limited to) scenarios where she's too injured or unwell to hold out on her own. parings with wigfrid where she doesn't have to be the end-all-be-all of strength and bravery and resilience. pairings with wigfrid where she can let the mask slip a little bit because she loves her partner enough to trust them with herself. u know.

I think they have the potential to be very cute together- the whole opposites attract trope is just very cute and funny in general.

Of course, I think it presents a lot of opportunity for the noble warrior to dote over the fragile mime. However, for a personal interp of my Wigfrid specifically, I also like the idea of Wigfrid showing the more fragile side of herself, and sort of allowing them to switch rolls. Wes being the ‘chatty’ one- the doting one- having her be the more sheepish of the two.

just want you to know just reading 'wesfrid' alone made me think abt the league of legends blackout comic... "your honor..... wesfrid 🤨" "death💥

anyways wesfrid ummm. if im honest when i see wesfrid i prefer to see sweeter and gentler stuff. not only does it fit w the flavor wes brings to the table (not to mention wes deserves some fluff every now and again) but also i think wigfrid deserves it.

to me, wigfrid values moments to metaphorically breathe far more than people realize. if she never had any moment to come down from all her posturing and pretending for the others, she'd probably never have any sanity to spare. all the best performances have intermissions.

but being able to do that with somebody… resting, recovering, just breathing. not being afraid that a moment of weakness would be scorned by her partner. not needing to worry about keeping up the act for important people in her life. i think she deserves it.
