ah, crap.

I gave up and started watching Almost Paradise. I don't want to like it! but I'm not even a minute in and there's his stupid face and his arms and he's adorable and I hate it (I love it 😭)

and then this: "just boom. heart failure. and trust me, that's worse than penis failure" cool 👍

and now he's been hit in the face by a beach ball 😌 awesome

it's interesting how characters do take on a certain position in headspace as you write. i've been trying since june last year to find a scenario where lizzie would legitimately wear tommy's clothes while they have sex, including having him very lightly imply this might be possible in passing at inappropriate intervals (the night of his daughter's death was a terrible time for him to do this really, even if i buy into the whole 'please be me because i can't cope with being past me or current me right now' that motivated [me to write] it), but...

lizzie is just so femme she doesn't even have a framework to acknowledge these suggestions are anything other than tommy putting random words one after the other. wear some boxy unfitted man's suit instead of her amazing, cutting edge fashionable dresses? not lizzie

He got a haircut recently but his mohawk is as stubborn as his personality.#Also a very rare moment of introspection from vince here. he's sorting things out. just a PSA here though I doubt I will ever make him date #Way too many things going on with him to consider a relationship of all things. He can have friends and family though :3 #Amon has a few other forms. I was considering doing this sooner but now I'm extra happy with the idea #Why does he only have three? why only apex predators? that's some lore I'll divulge at a different time #He uses his croccy form most- including when he's humanoid because it's most convenient. No shedding and lots more defense #he can tank bullets and quickly get down to business too. not to mention his croc-form dulled his emotions when it came to his old work #even when he looks 'human' he is always in one of those three forms. He also dislikes getting fur in his clothing.#Adra has a similar influence from these powers but doesn't have any shifting. More like little characteristics #Vincent usually covers Amon's lack of speed and evasiveness while Amon covers Vincent's lack of defense and (comparative) strength.#They bounce off of each other's vibes way too well sometimes but can get the job done in a chaotic but efficient way. Sera buddies them up #She sometimes carries missions with Amon because of his previous experience and range of powers for certain missions.#vincent doesn't like taking orders from Ser specifically but has surprisingly learned the concept of restraint and polity from amon.#ARK_SYSTEMA

I dunno why everyone says they hate grooming and hand stripping dogs. I find it so soothing. I would probably go for hours if Arthur didn't let me know he was done with it.

#I wanna say we probably go 30 minutes max usually? For maintenance grooming #When he goes to his breeder to get full groomed he's on the table for like 3 hours #I kinda think having a Poodle could be fun one day for the fun haircuts I could do #I'm not that brave with actually clipping BUT I would be if it wasn't a show dog lol #Like I do love clipping off Haley's feathers. Which I do now because she's an old lady who does not need that excessive hair #Haley gets really really floofy ... makes me wonder what her parents' coats were like. I'm thinking the Sheltie genes are probably why #My mom wants me to try shaving Leia down. Haha. We'll see about that. She is so so wiggly and hyper. Her #groomer has a special way with her #Leia's groomer is a hardcore flyball trainer/competitor so she is used to insane dogs lol #I think it's funny that she grooms all the floofy suburban pet dogs in the neighbourhood while she personally owns Mals and BorderWhippets #ANYWAY I think dog grooming would be a great career for me if I can get the chronic pain under control #I want to at least become an Expert ECS groomer over the next decade lol #Grooming could maybe be a side gig one day if I can get good enough and figure out how to get training #I'm legit considering the idea that the best job situation for me might end up being multiple 'side gigs'

lmao think i need to go into anger management classes after every interaction with my brother
