Yesterday I improvised this little painting based on my childhood bedroom, using a limited color palette in gouache and colored pencils. If you forget about the wiener dog (that I didn’t have but wish I did!) that’s basically tiny Julia, boy haircut and all. I loved reading and spending time on my own as a kid, did you too? . .
