this windtrace fucking sucks

i'm sure it's fun for Identity V or Dead by Daylight people, but not me.

i like the simple gameplay of Prop Hunt

this windtrace feels like it's weight out balanced to the hunter

windtrace is supposed to be prop hunt, we're supposed to out live the hunter

this small of a map with a 1;3 ratio might be fine, but the hunter gets freedom right away? not even a SMALL chance that the hiders get a chance?

i like the idea of having two lives as most games with good hunter might last about 30 seconds or so, but UGHH

i might just be bitching because this is specifically a different type of windtrace, but i just really like prop hunt and feel that it's really of balance.

i have seen several people on hoyolab excited and liking windtrace, so i feel like i'm going crazy, that i'm the only one in the whole world who doesn't like this version.

the one round i was the hunter, i lost, so who knows it could be balanced and be a skill issue, but it's still very hard.

if felt like the players had way more practice over me

i just really hate this windtrace, maybe i'm just a sore loser or have too much of a skill issue.

that will not change me from absolutely hating this windtrace.

"Windtrace: Seekers and Strategy" Event: Strategic Hide-and-Seek Challenge

〓Event Details〓

● On each of the 6 days of the event after it has begun, the maximum number of Windtrace Coins you can collect is increased by 1,000. Travelers can obtain Windtrace Coins or complete Strategic Challenges to claim the corresponding rewards.

● A new mechanism "Signaling Device" has been added to this edition of Windtrace. Rebels must repair these devices while avoiding the Hunter's pursuit, while the Hunter must stop the Rebels from repairing these devices, or simply eliminate all the Rebels.

● The first time each Rebel is captured by a Hunter, they will be detained within a "Surveillance Zone" for a while. They will be released automatically once the time of imprisonment ends. Other Rebels can also approach the Surveillance Zone and help their imprisoned comrade escape. When a Rebel who has been imprisoned before is once again captured, that Rebel will be eliminated from the match.

● The Rebels will win if they repair 4 Signaling Devices within the time limit. If they fail to do so, the Hunter will be victorious. If no Rebels on the field can operate freely, e.g. all the Rebels have been captured or eliminated, the Hunter will earn an early victory.

※ In "Windtrace: Seekers and Strategy," you can earn Windtrace Coins in Solo Mode and matchmade games alongside up to 2 friends. When forming a custom Co-Op party with 3 other friends to play this game or when your Windtrace Coins have reached the current maximum, you will not obtain any Windtrace Coins.

almost a week since i uploaded this video. i better share it before i forget and too much time passes to be relevant

this is my experience with the newest instalment of windtrace! if you followed me since 2021, you'd know i played identity v before. the new mechanics in this windtrace reminds me of idv's gameplay, so i was compelled to give it a try

of course, i only showed matches that i'm proud of. i didn't play many rounds to begin with, only enough to get the primos. still, i hope you enjoy me suffering grinding through this event!

i'll be vacationing at thailand this week. when i come back, we'll see if i produce a travel vlog first, or my very first video essay. i plan on going through with this idea, so please look forward to it!
