It was nearly 2 in the afternoon when you finally opened your eyes. Your mouth tasted like ash and vodka. Your brain was fuzzy, details from the night before just out of reach. Lifting your head from the pillow, you surveyed what you could while lying on your front. Your eyes met the bright lights of the Vegas daytime. A groan fell from your lips as you let your head drop back down and turned into the pillow.
What happened last night?
Why do you have a vague memory of a wedding chapel?
“Sleep, good.” You mumbled, turning your head from the pillow to the rest of the room. “What…?” Sitting up, you looked around the room. It wasn't your suite. Was this even your hotel? Scrambling up, you started to look for your phone, for the owner of this room, for anything!
Your phone was connected to a charger across the room by the bar. Rushing there, you picked it up and looked at it. Twenty-four missed calls. Panic set in as you began to look through your missed calls. Your best friend called you sixteen times, your other friends a mix of four times, and then there was your fiancé Adam, he'd called. Did he know something?
You questioned who to call first. Jenny could fill in the blanks. You scrolled to her number, your finger hovering over the call button. However, you noticed something. Sat on your left ring finger instead of your engagement ring was a skull ring. Dropping the phone, you lifted your hand to look at the ring. It wasn’t ugly, just not so much your style, closer to something you'd wear than the weird band that Adam got you and called an engagement ring. Your blood ran cold as you stared at it, as your fingers ran over the skull, hoping to remember even a breadcrumb from last night.
A sharp knock on the door caused you to drop your hand and look up at the high-powered-looking woman with a headset. “Yes sir, on it.” She held her finger up to tell you one moment. Raising an eyebrow, you felt annoyed. She barged in and then was too busy to talk to you?“I'm about to talk to her now, okay? Have a good time.” She smiled as she spoke on the phone. It quickly dropped as she turned to look at you. Oh great, a bitch.
“Hi, I'm Tammy Thompson. I’m  Mr. Munson’s assistant. I'm here to tell you it's time to get out and back into whatever hole you crawled out of. I can't stand you groupies.” She said, rolling her eyes and tutting.
“Excuse me? What gives you the right to talk to me like that?” You couldn't help but feel anger. Who did she think she was? “Look, I woke up here. I have no memory of last night, and I don't even know whose damn room this is!” Your head was pounding. You wanted to get out of here as much as she wanted you gone, but you needed answers.
“You're in Eddie Munson’s hotel room, lead singer of Corroded Coffin. Mr. Munson would've been here to throw you out himself, but his best friend is getting married soon. He had to be on the first flight back to Indiana this morning.” This girl had an attitude. You couldn’t tell if she was jealous about you being in here or she was simply a damn bitch.
“Wait… did you say, Eddie Munson?” The question left your lips. You looked at the ring again. You knew that ring. You’d stared at it while watching your favourite band play music.
“Yes, I did. Now you have five minutes to get your shit and get out of here!” She told you before turning to leave. “Oh, and don't take anything that isn't yours, I'll know.” She walked out and shut the door.
“Fucking bitch.” You grumbled. Picking up your phone, you looked around for your bag and went through it. Finding a piece of paper folded neatly, you pulled it out and looked at it. It was a marriage certificate, and the names were yours and Eddie.
“Come on, time is up!” Tammy said, walking back into the room. It hadn't even been five minutes.
“I need to find my boots.” You weren’t leaving without your Doc Martens with the flowers up the side. They were your favourite shoes. Tammy tutted as you walked around looking for them.
“You have them, get out.”
“I'd fire your ass if I was your boss.” You growled before walking out, bag and shoes in hand. You'd sort them in the lobby. You didn't care. You simply needed to get out of this damn room.
You sat in the corner of the lobby. You put on your boots and took deep breaths. You'd gotten married last night. How were you meant to tell your fiancé that? Getting up, you left the hotel and got your phone out. You called Jenny, swallowing hard, as you waited for her to answer.
“Where the hell have you been? I've been worried sick!” You smiled at the sound of her voice.
“I'll explain when I get there. I'm on my way to the hotel now. Jen, I'm going to need your help.” You told her as you flagged down a cab to take you to the hotel you and your friends were staying at.
“Whatever you need, I'll meet you in your room. The girls are sunbathing right now, I told them you were asleep, food poisoning.” You could always rely on her.
“Thanks, Jen, I'm getting in a cab now. See you soon.” You hung up the phone and sighed, What a morning.
You were soon back in your room. Jen was there waiting with a bottle of water and some pain relief.
“You're a star. You're such a star.” You said, putting down your bag and taking the painkillers with the water.
“So, what happened last night? I stepped outside to call Danny. You know, to reassure him that his pitch would go well. When I came back in, you were gone.” Jen said as she lounged on your bed.
“I don't know…” You admit as you sit on the edge of the bed. “But I found this in my bag.” You pulled out your marriage certificate and handed it to Jenny.
There was a moment of silence. The pair of you just stared at the piece of paper.
“This is real…”
“Yep.”
“You got married.”
“Yeah…”
“You're getting married in six weeks.”
“I know.”
“What are you going to do?”
“I don't know Jen.”
You throw yourself back on the bed. Your hands cover your face partly to shield the light, to hide your face from the world.
“You have to tell Adam.”
“I can't!”
“What do you mean you can't? Me and Danny tell each other everything!”
“I can't because he didn't want me to come on this trip. I can't tell him that I got married!” You groan.
“Right… maybe you could get it annulled?”
Sitting up, you look at Jen. as a plan forms in your head. You get up and start packing your stuff.
“What are you doing?” She asks, confused.
“I go to Hawkins. I know he's there. I get him to sign the papers, then boom! I'm free to marry Adam.” You tell her as you grab a change of clothes. “Here's my credit card. Will you book me on the next flight, okay?” You tell Jen before running to the bathroom to shower and change.
“Is it booked?” You questioned as you stepped out of the bathroom, brushing your hair.
“Yeah, but I feel like you're crazy for doing this.”
“I need to do this. I will be there and back.”
“I get that, but you're going alone… let me come with you.”
You shook your head, walked over to her, and hugged her tightly. You appreciated her concern, and you did. But you had to do this, and you couldn't help but admit that you were excited about the prospect of an adventure.
“I'll be okay, alright?” You assured her as you pulled out of the hug. “I'm going to call Adam and tell him my deadline for my book got moved forward. I'll tell him you are helping me with the wedding while I'm gone and that any big decisions have to be emailed to me, okay?”
“But… what?”
“I love you. I'll call you when I land. I'll be gone for less than a week.” You promised before you grabbed your bags and left. Jenny stood there stunned, surprised that you were doing this and that she couldn't talk you out of at least not going alone.
You couldn't believe you were doing this. You could feel your heart thumping hard as you drove to the airport. The main thing you feared was telling Adam you were going away for a few days. He never liked it when you left. You didn't like it much either, to be honest, but you were doing what you had to do so that you could still get married. It was all arranged. Guests were flying in from around the country. You couldn't back out now because you'd done something stupid while drunk.
Getting a coffee (once you checked in), you found yourself somewhere to sit and took a deep breath while waiting for your flight. You took your phone out and stared at the screen. Another four phone calls from Adam. You rubbed your head and tried to prepare yourself to lie to your fiancé.
“Where the fuck have you been? I've been calling you all fucking morning!”
“I've been unwell.” Maybe lying to Adam wouldn’t be hard at all.
“What the fuck do you mean? Nursing a hangover?” He snapped at you.
“No, I had food poisoning. Jen warned me not to eat gas station sushi.” You forced an awkward laugh. Adam was silent. You held the phone tightly.
“Listen, my publisher called. They're bringing forward the date of my book. So I'm going away for a few days to finish it.” You explained, holding the phone from your ear, ready for him to yell.
“We're getting married in six weeks, you need to finish planning the Damn wedding. Never mind your fucking book.”
His words hurt. He never seemed to want you to have a career, and this was a big deal to you.  He didn't give a fuck. It hurt every time the conversation came up.
“I have to go. My flight is boarding.” You hung up before he could say anything else. You sat there staring at the floor, coffee in one hand, phone in the other. You couldn't help but wonder if this marriage to a stranger was a sign from the universe telling you that you shouldn’t marry Adam. You'd had so many thoughts about it lately, so much doubt bubbled inside. But everyone told you it was simply nerves.
Tumblr media
“Are you ready for your surprise?” Jenny questioned as the girls piled into your room carrying champagne and a bottle of tequila.
“Uhh, I think so.” You glanced at the girls, each with a knowing smirk. Jenny stepped forward and offered you an envelope.
“Happy bachelorette party Sweetie.”
You never wanted to come to Vegas. It was so very out of your comfort zone. You had wanted to go to a spa, maybe a trip to London for a few days. There were things you’d do instead of Vegas. They insisted. You had no choice, and they bullied you into it.
Ripping the envelope, you pulled out the tickets and looked at them. Your mouth fell open as you stared at the name, the date, and the venue.
“You got me corroded coffin tickets? For tonight for the intimate session.” You managed to say slowly, shock clear on your face.
“We wanted to give you a night you'll remember.” The girls couldn't help but giggle, almost like they knew something you didn't.
“Thank you!” You stood up and threw your arms around Jenny. You knew it was her who had arranged this.
“They were sold out. How did you?” You asked as you pulled back and looked at the artwork on the tickets.
“Danny, his company did some work for one of Eddie Munson’s friends. He asked on my behalf, and they called Eddie himself. here we are in Vegas with tickets.” Jenny explained as she started to hand out glasses to everyone.
“A night to remember.” Arianna, one of your other bridesmaids, said, holding up her glass. You all clinked the glasses together and drank the champagne.
“Let's go girls.”

Arriving in Hawkins, the sun had long since set. You found yourself fighting the uneasy feeling bubbling in your stomach. The small town made you think of horror books that you'd read cover to cover. A small town with a stranger arriving, seemed like the start of one of them.
The satnav directing you toward your hotel. A need to put your head down bubbling inside of you. But you seemed to have missed it again and again because you didn't see it on the street. Parking in frustration, you climbed out of the car and headed to the grocery store across the street. Praying, someone inside could help you find where you were going.
“Yes, I have the popcorn, and yes I'm on my way.”
As you headed inside, your head full of thoughts, you collided with someone. Their groceries spilt on the floor.
“Oh god, I'm so sorry.”
“No, it's okay. I wasn't looking where I was going.”
The pair of you bend down to pick up the items. The brown-haired girl tells you that you don't need to help, but you can't help but feel responsible and help her pick it all up.
“You're not from around this area, are you?” The brunette asks once you are both stood up, with her holding her bag.
“Is it that obvious?” You can't help but bite your lip nervously.
“Yeah. But I mean that I know most people around my age. We all went to the same high school.”
“Small town…” You mumble.
“I'm Robin, welcome to Hawkins. How long are you staying for?”
You smile as she holds out her hand. Taking it and shaking you tell her your name. Unsure how to answer the rest.
“Not long, I have some business… which I can't even start because I can't find my hotel. Do you know where the Hawkins Inn is?”
Robin grinned, nodding and gave the instructions. It was just a damn road, that you'd driven down that road three times. How could you have missed it repeatedly?
“Thanks, hopefully, I'll be able to find it.”
“No problem, have a nice night.”
“Wait!”
Robin looked surprised at your outburst.
“Sorry… umm I'm trying to find someone while I'm here, I do you think you could help me with that?”
“Sure, what's the name?”
“Eddie Munson.”
You watched Robin tense up slightly as she looked at you. You weren't sure if she realised.
“Name doesn't ring a bell, sorry.”
“Oh, no worries. Thanks anyway.” You smiled and walked off into the store, as the conversation ended.
Robin watched you as you disappeared into the store. Sshe pulled out her phone and dialled a number.
“Steve, Is Eddie there yet?”
“I thought you were on your way. You forgot the popcorn didn't you?”
“Shut up Dingus! Is Eddie there yet?”
“No, he's not. What's going on Robin?”
“Warn him there's another one.”
“How can you be so sure?”
“Steve, are you questioning me?”
“I just..”
“Steve, she's hot, dressed in Doc Martens, ripped jeans, and a band t-shirt. She's one of them and asked if I knew him.”
“Alright, I'll tell him he's just arrived with Dustin. I'll let him know.”
“Remind him to warn Wayne this time too!”
“Okay, hurry up I am hungry.”
You walked into the Inn, food in hand and suitcase in the other. It was cute, stuck in the eighties. You looked around as you made your way to the desk. Ringing the bell, a guy with scruffy hair that smelled of weed scrambled out from the back.
“Welcome to the Hawkins Inn. My name is Jonathan. How can I help you?”
“I was hoping to get a room?”
“Well, that is what it's here for. How many nights?”
“Umm, can we go day by day? I'm not sure how long I'll be here.”
“Sure, just fill this out.” He said, slipping across a piece of paper. Filling it out, you glanced at him as he rocked back and forth in his heels.
“Here.”
Slipping across the paper, you looked at him curious if you could take advantage of the fact that he was high as a Damn kite.
“Hey, don't suppose you know where I can find the Munson family would you?”
“Oh yeah, Wayne lives in Forest Hill Trailer Park.”
“Thank you.” You say as you hand him your credit card for him to run. You had a lead. Thank god for that. This time tomorrow,it would be all over.
“No problem.”
You turned to walk away, and he grabbed your arm.
“You forgot your card.”
“Thanks, Jonathan.”
Taking your bank card, and room key. You slipped one into your wallet and carried the other. Making your way upstairs, you searched for your room. You couldn’t wait for your shower, and to fall into bed.
You slept like a log. Resting your head on the pillow after eating caused you to crash out pretty quickly. It was no surprise, that after all you'd been through, when you woke up to see it was almost eleven.
You showered and dressed quickly, knowing you needed to get moving. You left your hair down, wanting it to dry naturally. Getting your bag ready for the day, you let out a small sigh as the nerves started to rise. Glancing at yourself in the mirror as you finished your makeup, you weren't sure if you were nervous or scared about what you were about to do.
By the time you got to the lobby, you knew the answer. You were terrified about this; the idea of having to face Eddie when you had no real memory of meeting him made your stomach twist and turn. Faking a smile, you nodded at the clerk behind the counter.
“Could you charge another night to my room, please.” You questioned handing over the card for your room. They nodded simply and sorted it before you left for your car.
Getting inside, you took a deep breath and put in the address to the satnav as you took some deep breaths. The trailer park wasn’t that far away. Following the route you found yourself at the trailer park in no time. The only problem was you had no idea which was the Munson’s.
You drove around searching for the mailbox that said Munson. You must've circled that place three or four times searching for the right place. You needed to find it. Needed to be at the right place.
Pulling over, you stared at the old battered mailbox, butterflies bubbling up in your stomach. Climbing out of the car, you tried to prepare yourself, but nothing could however. Reaching for the door, you knocked. You felt as if you could hardly breathe. A familiar sick feeling began to rise inside you.
“Yeah? What do you want?” Asked a middle aged man, as he opened the door. You couldn’t help but study him, short hair, beard, plaid shirt and jeans. Wayne Munson.
“Hi, I'm looking for Eddie Munson.”
The man rolled his eyes. He looked at you as if you were something he'd stepped in.
“Another one of you, really? I'm getting really fucking fed up. If it's not reporter’s it's groupies. I will tell you what I tell all of you. Fuck off!”
He went to slam the door in your face. You felt rather startled by his outburst. You just stood there frozen; as the door shut.
Taking a deep breath, you knocked again.
“What part of fuck off do you not understand?” Wayne yelled at you as he opened the door again.
“Please…” You managed to say.
“I've heard it all before. Please I am his biggest fan. Please, I just want to see his room. Please can you just give me some comments about his childhood? Listen girl, there is nothing you can say that will make you invite you inside.”
“I'm not a reporter or a groupie. I am a writer, I write fiction,, but that's beside the point.  Also a fan, but that's beside the point. I need to find him. I married him in Vegas. My wedding is in six weeks, please.”
Wayne stopped. He stared at you, with a look of surprise. That was a new one for him. He couldn't help but feel shocked by this.
“I'm going to need proof,” Wayne told you as he leaned on the doorway. He folded his arm’s across his chest, unsure of how truthful you were.
“I have our certificate and ring.” You held your hand out to show him the ring that you hadn't taken off yet. You weren't going to until you had your engagement ring back. Pulling out the paper, you opened it and showed him.
“Fucking hell Eddie,” Wayne mumbled as he looked at the certificate and rubbed his face.
“Do you know where I can find him? It's important.”
“Yeah, but why not come in and have a coffee first? We can talk for a little, I can know what it's like to have a niece-in-law.”
You laughed gently and nodded.
“I'd appreciate that, thank you.” You said as you stepped into the trailer.
Your eyes scanned around the childhood home of Eddie Munson. It was a nice place. It felt very homely. You were never one to judge where people lived. It wasn't your style. The only you ever cared about were people being happy and healthy. You noticed a couple of pictures of Eddie on the wall and couldn't help but look at them.
You stopped on one picture, the girl from last night with Eddie and a few other people. It made sense she was tense because she was protecting her friend. You weren't mad at her. You couldn't be. You'd have done the same.
“That's Eddie and his friends when he graduated.”
You smiled. They looked happy. Especially Eddie.
“It was just before he became famous,” Wayne explained as he walked over and handed you a coffee. “Three times to graduate,  he did it. He never gave up.”
“Was that after the… incident?” Any Eddie fan worth their weight knew the incident. A few years ago, Eddie was accused of killing several people in Hawkins, it turned out it was the person blaming him that was the real killer.
“Yeah, it was. I'm not sure if Eddie truly healed from that. I know he still has the scars on his body from Jason, but mentally seeing someone murdered stays with you.”
Chrissy Cunningham was Jason’s first victim. She and Eddie were sort of friends. That was what you understood. Must of been incredibly hard.
“I imagine so. He overcame it and got revenge in fantastic style. Everyone knows his name. He's a worldwide icon now and from what you said people show up here trying to meet him.”
You smiled gently and sat down with him. He simply smiled and nodded at your words. You had a lot of questions and wanted to keep talking about Eddie’s past. You needed to find Eddie.
“So you and Eddie got married. Why didn't he bring you to Dustin’s wedding?”
You laughed an awkward sort of laugh, truth time seemed.
“I think he wanted to leave me with Tammy.”
Wayne winced and laughed. “That bitch, she's jealous of Eddie’s fame and takes it out on everyone else.”
“I noticed. But the truth is, I don't even remember meeting Eddie. Or marrying him.”
Wayne looked at you confused. You sighed, telling him the story about what happened. You bit your lip as you finished, struggling to make eye contact with him.
“That sounds about right for my boy, though I have to say if he did something crazy; there would've been a reason. Normally he has a pretty good one.”
“Do you know where I can find him? I need to get this annulled before I get married in six weeks. Truth is, I haven't even been to a lawyer yet. I don't know if it's possible to, but I need to find him.”
Wayne smiled and nodded softly. “I get it. You need to see him and get it all sorted. I imagine your fiancé isn't too happy with this.”
“He doesn't even know.” You admitted.
“Oh, let's get this sorted as fast as possible for you.”
“Thank you, Wayne.”
Wayne grinned and told you that you were welcome. You chatted for a while, drinking coffee and simply getting to know each other. He was a kind man. You were sure Eddie was very fond of him.
“He should be at a suit fitting right now, so I'd recommend going there. If he isn't there, call me.” Wayne said as he wrote down his number for you.
“I will, thank you, Wayne.” You repeated as you stood up. “Thank you for the coffee to. First time in a long time, it's been perfect.” You admitted, he grinned.
“You're welcome. Now go on before he leaves there.”
As you left, he told you the name of the store. You hoped you'd be there in time, hoped that you'd not miss him. You drove to the store a little faster than you should of. This was the first solid lead you had to rush. It was on a time limit.
Stepping into the store, you looked around not able to find him. You had a rush of memory as you saw a bride and her mother looking at dresses. She was so happy, so giddy. You didn't remember that feeling. You'd been nervous and awkward. You’d struggled to get excited, it was more Jenny and your mother who were excited.
Shaking your head, you looked around for someone who worked there. Spotting them looking around, clearly judging all customers. You rolled your eyes. Walking over to the worker, you smiled.
“Hi, I was wondering if you had a groom and party in?”
The woman looked at you like you were some sort of freak. It was almost as if she thought you were a stripper or something.
“My husband is in the group, He forgot his wallet.” Lying seemed to be getting a little easier, but then he was your husband. You just had no idea about his wallet.
“Oh, you mean the Henderson party. I'm afraid they left about ten minutes ago.” She replied with a sneer, causing you to scrunch your nose.
“Oh, okay. Thank you anyway.” You replied, killing her with kindness.
Stepping outside, you sighed. Ten minutes too late, of course, you were. Frustration seeped into you as you walked back to your car. You pulled out your phone on the way and called Wayne.
“Hey, he'd already left when I got here.”
“Damn. I'm sorry. I'll call Eddie, get him to meet you somewhere, okay? It will save you from being given the run around after him all day.”
“Okay, thank you for this Wayne,”
“No problem, I'll call once I have a meeting place.”

Eddie
Getting into his truck with Steve and Dustin, the group were laughing and joking. They'd just tried on their suits for the wedding, not really Eddie’s style. But as Dustin had said whatever his Suziepoo wanted; she got. Even if it was a weird powder blue..
Sometimes Eddie wondered if it was actually Dustin’s choice and Suzie was just the poor scapegoat for his poor taste.
“I still think I should be the best man,” Steve mumbled as he leaned back.
“This is the deal, Steve, he's mine, you are his, I'm yours. Remember, friends' style.”
“Did you honestly give this deal a nickname, Henderson?” Eddie asked chuckling..
“Of course he did, and it's where he got the idea from.”
The boys laughed together as Eddie’s phone started to ring.
“If it's Tammy, I'm making muppet noises!” Steve declared as they waited for Eddie to answer the phone.
“This is Eddie Munson, bestest best man so much more than Steve speaking. How can I help you?”
“Hi, Eddie.”
“Uncle Wayne, hey! What's going on?” Eddie asked with a grin. “Sorry, I haven't been over yet, Dustin, and Suziepoo have had me running ragged.”
He got a hit for that from Dustin.
“It's alright. You're busy as long as you come to see me before you go. Anyway, I've had a young woman here today.”
“I don't want to know about your sex life,” Eddie said, making a grossed-out face and making the guys laugh.
“Eddie.”
“Yeah?” He asked. His tone becoming serious, as he heard the tone in Wayne’s voice.
“Your wife is looking for you.”
The truck fell silent. The guys stared at Eddie as he moved his hand to the ring hanging around his neck next to his guitar pick.
“Eddie?”
Hearing Wayne's voice again, Eddie snapped out of his trance.
“Y-yeah?”
“She's trying to find you. I said I'd give her a location. Where do you want to meet her?”
“Enzos, 8 o'clock. I'll make the reservation under Baggins.”
“I'll tell her, she seems nice.”
“Yeah, she is,” Eddie mumbled gently.
“Bye, son.”
“Bye.”
The line went dead, the truck was silent for a moment before Steve leaned forward and looked at Eddie.
“So, who was your best man?”

Why are these lights so bright? Did we get hitched last night? Dressed up like Elvis. Why am I wearing your class ring? Don't call your mother 'cause now we're partners in crime. Don't be a baby. Remember what you told me. Shut up and put your money where your mouth is. That's what you get for waking up in Vegas. Get up and shake the glitter off your clothes now. That's what you get for waking up in Vegas.

🔫 Put the Zellie pros and cons in the bag
Pros:
She’s very fun! She is adventurous and fearless. Loves to explore!
She CAN be very patient and kind. With the right people. It depends! Sometimes she feels crappy, sometimes she feels nice. Her emotions are frequently a roller coaster.
Zellie will give you dice......as a gift........they have many many dice sets and they WILL share if they lvoe u.
Cons:
Zellie is an alcoholic? She’s working on it slowly !
Zellie also doesn’t always think before she reacts, doesn’t think about her facial expressions, and can be perceived as very bitchy.
Zellie is an alcoholic because she deals with a lot of anxiety! Especially around her voice! It will take time before she feels secure enough to speak around you. The very second you hint that something is wrong or funny about her voice? Back to square one, and you’ll never hear it again. So far, the only troll who has heard it has been Maesun and he has promised to never use it.

I love your Got7 fics, personal favorite is Waking Up in Vegas. I don’t know, there’s just something about ending up with your best friend. Jackson is a close second in terms of bias, and the sexual tension between him and OC is so thick you could cut a knife. It makes me wish for something like that too! 🤗
Hi!!! Thank you so much 💕 WUIV is also one of my favs (honestly, I just LOVE writing Jackson). I’m a big sucker for a friends to lovers trope so you’ll see a lot of that in my stories and my recs lol

Day 25
My fingers gripped the sheets as Daveed slowly swiped his tongue against my clit. His hands were anchoring my waist to the bed, gripping tighter every time I tried to grind against him for more friction.
“(Y/N), if you keep at it I might have to stop all together. Is that what you want?”, he grinned
“N...no”, I groaned
He gently sucks my clit, humming in approval as I finally keep my hips still. It takes everything in me to do so. We’ve been playing around since early this morning before he revealed that he wanted to eat me out.
For most of the weekend, we kept our distance. That was until Sunday night.
Daveed left to get more food for the house. Thinking he would be away for an hour or so, I lay in my bed, legs spread with my mind stuck on riding him. Before I could reach my climax, my bedroom door popped open. His eyes were immediately on my dripping core. We were both aware of the line we weren’t supposed to cross. He groaned softly as he left, waiting for me to finish in the living room. Later that night, I heard him quietly moaning my name while he was in the shower. The second I woke up, he was kissing my neck and rubbing my thighs, asking to eat me out.
I softly moaned his name, feeling myself nearing the edge. He slipped two fingers in as he sucked my clit even harder. As he pressed into my g spot, my orgasm hit me harder than expected. My vision went white as my body continued to shake. He continued eating me out and kissing my inner thighs until I came down from my high.
“You have to get ready for work”, he mentioned quietly as he kissed my shoulder and neck
“No”, I pouted
“No? You have to go to work baby. You just got a promotion”
He placed more kisses on my neck and cheek until I spoke again.
“And we just got together”, I countered
His expression softened as he took in what I said.
“How about I come back here when we finish with work or I could meet you at your job if I finish early?”
I nodded before kissing then got up to get in the shower. The last thing on my mind was work. I hadn’t thought about Jeremy or what happened last week at all. I was too wrapped up in Daveed. I had no intention on seeing Jeremy again.
I strolled into the office thirty minutes late, greeting everyone with a smile on my face. Jeremy sees me at the end of the hall, but keeps it moving. Good.
Gina is waiting by my office door when I finally arrive.
“Where the hell have you been?”
“Did I miss anything?”
“No, but you’re always early for work. What happened? Why are you smiling so hard?”
She grinned because she already knew.
“Did you see Daveed?”, she gasped, “It snowed all week. You got snowed in with your husband, didn’t you?”
I giggled as I unlocked my office and let her in. The second she said his name, all the events from Thursday until this morning flooded my memory.
“Don’t spill anything yet. Ava is on her way”
We talked about how they spent the weekend until Ava excitedly ran into my office and shut the door.
“Tell us everything”
I started from me hurting Daveed to ignoring each other to Jeremy, then to the weekend we spent together and this morning. By the time I finished, both Gina and Ava were blushing.
“So that’s why you’re glowing”, Ava laughed
“Yeah and if he gave her that dick this morning, she would have came in here glowing as bright as the damn sun”, Gina smirked
I nearly spit my coffee out and Ava fell over in her chair.
“You’re right though”, I said as my laughter died down, “Everything feels different with him now. After it’s all said and done, I want to work on having a relationship with him. Even if it’s long distance”
Ava and Gina smiled, knowing that I was finally happy after everything that happened in the past month. When my office door opened slowly, their smiles disappeared.
Jeremy peaked his head through nervously as his eyes landed on me. He tried to puff out his chest to make himself appear sizable compared to us.
“Good morning (Y/N). Ava. Gina”
Gina rolled her eyes, mumbling something under her breath, undoubtably cursing him out. Ava remained still, showing no expression at all.
“I need the notes from the meeting that you printed out last week”
“You mean last week when you harassed her until she had a panic attack?”, Ava scolded
His eyes widened as he looked between the three of us, “Tell me Jeremy, what would you have done to (Y/N) if her husband hadn’t stepped in?”
“First of all, he put in hands on m--”
“First of all you harassing a fellow employee who happened to be his wife. His actions were justified and yours were not”, she chastised
“But--”
“There’s no need to discuss this any further, you’ll be hearing from HR very shortly and I doubt you’ll still have a job after the stunt you pulled last week.”
He turned to me, eyes stone cold, ready to say something.
“Please get out my office”, I affirmed, shocking all of them, “If you somehow are still employed after last week, then we can discuss boundaries and proper etiquette when it comes to dealing with coworkers. Until then, I don’t see any point of you being anywhere near me or my office because it isn’t helping your case. Have a nice day Mr. Davis”
He looked at me, stunned, frozen in place.
“You heard her. Get out”, Gine reiterated
With that being said, he left my office with his head down, shutting the door behind him.
“The nerve of him coming in here, acting like he wasn’t tormenting you last week. Daveed should’ve torn him to shreds. I would have helped”, Gina professed
“Are you alright with him being here for the time being?”, Ava asked as the room grew silent
“I’ll be fine. I’m not afraid of him”
They both smiled as they left my office and I got back to work.
For the next few hours, I actually got my work done with no distractions. I didn’t feel as stressed as I normally did. As I logged out of my computer, I longed to get outside to get a breath of fresh air. Just as I grabbed my purse, my phone vibrated.
Daveed 5:30 pm
Are you getting off on time today?
Me 5:31 pm
Surprisingly, yes
Daveed 5:31 pm
Okay. I’ll see you in a few.
I stepped outside to see Daveed standing near the front door with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
“What are you doing here?”
“I’ve realized our relationship is out of order. We had sex, then realized we were married, became friends, stopped being friends, now we’re sort of dating?”
I laughed at his description. He hit the nail right on the head. Our relationship was far from normal.
“I also realized that we’ve never been on a date”
I stopped smiling as it dawned on me, “No, we haven’t”
“Let’s change that. (Y/N) will go out on a date with me tonight?”
“Nah”, I stated as his smile faltered a little, “I’m actually waiting for my husband to arrive”
“Oh, you’re married? He must be pretty amazing to end up with someone like you”, he grinned
“Eh, he’s alright”, I giggled
His smile faltered again as he began to laugh, “Why did I even marry you?”
“Because we were drunk out of our minds?”
He handed me the flowers as he kissed me. He intertwined his fingers with mine and pulled me away from my office and we made our way into the city. For as long I lived here, I knew the possibilities were endless for the places he could take me.
My heart filled with joy as we reached the Gershwin theater.
“We...we’re going to see…”
“Surprise”, he boasted as we reached the poster for Wicked
“How did you know?”
“I might have done a little snooping”
“Ava?”, he shook his head, “Gina”, he shook his head again
“Well not entirely. I was looking at your records and the Wicked record had the most wear and tear. I did ask and they confirmed”
This was one of the sweetest gestures anyone has done for me. I pulled him in wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him in the middle of the sidewalk. He grabbed my waist and happily responded.
Before we could go in, a few people stopped for autographs and pictures. Many of them asked if we were dating and he awkwardly tried to answer their questions without giving away too much. I laughed at his response, but when they directed their questions to me, I responded in the same awkward fashion.
“It’s like you two were made for each other”, a woman said as she prepared to leave with her friends. They smiled as he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the theater.
As the final act ended, I was a ball of nerves and excitement.
“This was my first time seeing it live”, I said quietly as we made our way to the next destination
“Really? I would have thought you’ve seen it at least twice with the way you lip synced all the songs”
“You saw that?”
“I couldn’t keep my eyes off of you. You looked like you were having a lot of fun”, he confessed
“I was. Thank you for taking me”
“Anything for you”, he grinned as he kissed my cheek
I couldn’t understand why I was still a blushing mess around him. After everything we’ve been through, he still gave me butterflies.
“Where are we going?”
“There’s a grocery store down the street from your house”
“Oooo fancy”
He smirked, “I figured since it’s so cold out and it’s getting late, I could make you dinner at your place and I’ll go back to my hotel after”
“What did I do to deserve you?”
“You sort of stole something in Vegas”, he chuckled as he stepped closer
“If you say you’re heart, I might puke”
“Wow, way to ruin the moment (Y/N)”, he said, taking a step back
“Thank you. Thank you. I’m here all week”, I smiled back as I took a small bow, “Let’s get to the grocery store and back inside where it’s warm”
We made our way back to my apartment and dumped the ingredients on the counter.
“I might not be a great chef, but I can make a mean---”
“Macaroni and cheese?”
He glared at me as a smirk spread across me face, “What? That was funny”
“I will do anything to get you to stay away from Tumblr”, he groaned
“It’s too late. I’ve had it for a week and I think I have a problem”
He began to smile at me once again as I covered my blush.
“All this time we’ve spent together and you’re still blushing around me?”
Daveed stepped closer and wrapped his arms around me. His face was buried in my neck, placing soft kisses wherever he could.
“Yo...you still give me butterflies...from time to time”, I managed to get out
He grinned against my skin, “I still get butterflies around you too. You’re smart. Beautiful. Funny.”, he murmured, driving each point with a kiss to my neck and cheek
I giggled as he made his way to my lips and wrapped my arms around him. He pushed my back against the fridge and kissed all over my face until my stomach began to growl. He pulled away slowly, even as I pouted.
“Dinner won’t take long. Change into something warm”, he reassured as he kissed my forehead
I made no attempt to cover my blushed this time as I made my way to my room to change my clothes. I rushed to change into that same over sized onesie he wore his first night here. From my spot on the couch, I could see him busy in the kitchen and still see the TV. He hummed softly as he cooked, the corner of his lips turned upwards. The TV played in the background and I couldn’t even focus on what was actually playing. He looked up to see me staring at him, there was a smile on my face that mirrored his. Daveed winked, then went back to cooking.
Twenty minutes later, we were sitting in front of the TV with empty plates, smiles still on our faces.
“For a first date, this was pretty nice”
“Pretty nice?”
“Okay”, I laughed, “It was a great first date. I’m glad you took me out tonight”
I get up to clean the kitchen and half way through, I realize Daveed is asleep on the couch. He was trying to stay awake, but eventually sleep too over. By the time I finished, his snores were drowning out the Sound of Music.
“Daveed”, I called as I shook his shoulder
He stretched, realizing where he was and stood up, “Hopefully I’ll see you tomorrow”
“Stay here”
He paused before he could put his coat on, “Are you inviting me to stay again?”
“Only because it’s late and cold. Can’t have you outside by yourself”, I said as I stepped closer
“Is that so?”, he grinned as our noses touched
We kissed again in the middle of my living room with nothing stopping us.
“Let’s get to bed (Y/N). You have work tomorrow”
I squealed as he picked me up bridal style and carried me to my room. Daveed pulled me close as soon as we got in bed. It didn’t take me long to doze off in his arms and he followed suit.
Day 27
We sat in the lobby of Dr. Harris’ office. Our last session was in ten minutes and in three days we would no longer be married.
“Nervous?”, Daveed asked
“Just a little. You think she’ll be mad about me lying to get out of our session?”
“She already knew”, he laughed as he took my hand, “It was pretty obvious with me ignoring you and all. She said you needed time”
“Did she tell you to talk to me?”
He paused for a moment, “She told me that we were in a difficult situation and the more we talk about it, the more we’ll understand where the other was coming from”
“Dr. Harris wasn’t wrong”, I mused
“(Y/N) and Daveed”, she called as we entered her office
She smiled warmly as we sat down, still holding hands.
“This is big difference from our last session. What happened after you left Daveed?”, she asked trying to hide her grin
“We talked and everything worked out”
“Oh”, she gasped, “You’re going to have to give me a little more than that. What happened (Y/N)? We missed you”
I knew she didn’t mean any harm by her statement. We always felt comfortable being in her office.
“I may have lied about not being able to come with Daveed ignoring me in all. Not that it was his fault for that. I would have reacted the same way”
“And I told her my behav--”, he started
“Daveed, I know you say that me reacting the way I did was justified, but I know it isn’t. You forgave me because you’re still interested in me. Any other person looking in from the outside of this relationship would agree.”
I paused before she nodded, wanting me to continue.
“I decided to stay late at work and Jeremy, my coworker, started harassing me. I felt myself starting to panic, but he wouldn’t stop. He enjoyed it. Before he could get any further, I heard someone say ‘Get away from my wife’. Daveed scared the hell out of him. He’s probably going to get fired now that Ava knows”
“Good. He deserves it and far more”, he scoffed
“What? You plan on finding out where he lives now?”
“After what he did to you, I definitely would”, he said as he kissed the palm of my hand and inner wrist
My heart stopped at his actions. He slowly removed his lips from my wrist, face flush with embarrassment. He caught my gaze as he rubbed his thumb against my hand. With a wink and a smirk, he popped our little bubble.
“You have to continue your story”, he said softly
I stuttered momentarily, trying to figure out where I left off. Dr. Harris smiled at our actions.
“Daveed ended up bringing me home and I didn’t want to be alone, so I asked him to stay the night”
“Did you two share a bed?”, she inquired
“No he slept on the couch. The next day, was the snowstorm so we were trapped for a couple of days and he decided to stay once the snow was cleared from the streets. I told him that I wanted to be with him and regretted everything I did to him. He told me how he felt and we...we kissed”
“Did you now?”, she prodded, “What else happened after this kiss?”
“We didn’t go any further than that”, Daveed laughed at her expression, “We just confessed our feelings and decided to take our time. The day after we played games and the next morning we…”
Dr. Harris raised an eyebrow, expecting him to continue.
“We didn’t actually have sex. We both wanted to, but we decided to...umm…”
I giggled as Daveed danced around the subject. His eyes screamed help me to the tenth degree.
“The term he’s looking for is dry humping”, I simply stated
“Okay. Did it go any further than that? You don’t have to give me all the details”
“Just oral”
She went over her notes in silence before she turned to a clean page.
“Do you plan on staying married after your thirty days are over?”
“No”
“Not a chance”
“You’re both on the same page now. That’s a lot of progress from the first few meetings. I’m happy to see where this takes the two of you”, she smiled again, “What changed your mind Daveed?”
“In the end, I still get to be with (Y/N). We’ve decided to take our time and see where this takes us. We went on our first date a few days ago”
“That’s good to hear. How do you feel about everything coming to an end (Y/N)?”
“I’m glad that it’ll be over. It pushed us out of our comfort zones, which was new to me. We’ll take our time from now on because I want to see where this goes”
She took her final notes as Daveed kissed my cheek, making me giggle.
Daveed walked me to my door after our session, still holding my hand. He was quiet the entire way here, avoiding all eye contact with me.
“Are you alright?”, I asked as I reached for my keys, “You’ve been awfully quiet”
The moment I looked up, my back was pressed against the door and his fingers were in my hair. His lips touched mine hesitantly until I kissed back. There we stood in the middle of the hall, engulfed in a fervent kiss. I moaned as his tongue slipped in my mouth. His soft lips, the scent of his cologne, and his hands gripping my waist were the prime reason for my heart nearly beating out of my chest. He pressed himself against me, caging me in. My arms wrapped around his neck.
Anyone could’ve walked down the hall to see us making out like teenagers, but we never cared. I groaned as he kissed down my neck and finally pulled away from me. Trying to catch his breath.
“What was that for?”, I gasped
“I’m not sure, but I’ve wanted to do it all day.”, he beamed, “I’ll see you tomorrow (Y/N)”
His kissed me again and gave me a shy smile. For a moment, I forgot how to speak. When I opened my mouth, nothing came out, much to his amusement.
“Bye Daveed”, I sang, “Let me know that you got to your hotel”
“Of course”, he mimicked my tone as he leaned in to kiss my cheek then my forehead
“What is making you so affectionate today?”
“I’m just...happy”, he said as his eyes softened
“I’m happy too”
He pulled me close, squeezing me tight before he made his way to his hotel. That night, being with Daveed was the only thing on my mind.
Day 30
“Should we be celebrating?”, Gina asked as we reached the courthouse
“A part of me feels like we should. You’ve both been through a lot in the past month and you managed to get through it. Both of you seem happier than before, so yeah, we should celebrate”, Ava reasoned
“Without getting drunk because you might wake up married again and if that’s the case y’all might as well stay married”
I glared at Gina before we stepped inside. Daveed was talking to Rafa when he saw us making our way towards him.
“Wow, you’re late again. Do you not like this courthouse?”, Daveed smirked
“Not at all. This place is the worst”
“It can’t be that bad”, he winked, “After all it--”
“Mr. and Mrs. Diggs”, Mr. Morgan called, waving us over, “I haven’t seen you in about thirty days”
He laughed, but none of us joined in, “Sorry. Please follow me. We just started the video call with Judge Nelson”
We sat in the same room where we first heard we would have to stay married. Dr. Harris was sitting on the same side as Mr. Morgan with the laptop facing us.
“Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Diggs”, Judge Nelson chirped
I groaned, rolling my eyes. Daveed and Dr. Harris laughed. I didn’t see myself getting used to that name any time soon.
“How have the past thirty days been treating you?”
Daveed and I both looked at each other, a hint of a smile on our faces. He took my hand like he always did and spoke to Judge Nelson.
“The past thirty days have been a living hell”
“Daveed”, I chastised
“Here me out”, he smirked, “We were terrible at communicating and we hurt each other in ways that I couldn’t imagine. It put us through a lot for two people who only met a month ago, but at the same time I’m glad it happened”
I squeezed his hand, “If this didn’t happen, then we would have never gotten our second chance. It started off rocky, but whatever we have at the moment is stronger than ever”
“Dr. Harris was telling me that. She said you both missed separate sessions”
“Yeah, we did. At some point, we couldn’t stand being near each other. I started ignoring her completely, not understanding why she reacted the way she did in the beginning”
“And I somehow thought that hurting him was the best way to keep him away from me, even though I knew I had feelings him”, I chimed in
Judge Nelson took a moment, eyeing the both of us quietly, “The annulment is up to you. You have made plenty of progress. Would you like to stay mar--”
“No”, we said in unison
Dr. Harris covered her mouth, trying to hide her laughter.
“Okay. I’ll grant you you’re annulment. It will take three weeks to be processed and finalized. Good luck Mr. and Mrs...Mr. Diggs and Ms. (Y/N)”, Judge Nelson finished
We all said our goodbyes after finishing with the paperwork. It shouldn’t take too long, given that we never had any shared assets.
Soon we were sitting in my apartment with our friends. Ever since we left the courthouse, they tried not to hound us with questions, but currently, they were failing miserably.
“So you’re staying in a relationship?”, Gina asked
“It’s not really a relationship at the moment”, I started
“But whatever it is we’re working on it”, he smiled
“We have to go back to California in a few days. What are you going to do about that?”, Rafa questioned as he eyed us expectantly
“We’re still working on it. It’s a lot to take in at the moment”, I responded
They all agreed and watched us with smiles on their faces. Daveed and I had a habit of creating our own bubble no matter where we were. As long as he was there, it was all I needed. He smiled down at me, moving in to kiss my cheek when Rafa and Gina groaned.
“Oh my God. We don’t need a recap of Vegas”
“Get a room”
“Well y’all are in my apartment”
“Fair enough”, Ava giggled, “Let’s leave the future divorcees to themselves...make sure you take the liquor”
We laughed as they filed out of my home, leaving Daveed and I to ourselves. My head rested on his shoulder, while he barely focused on the TV.
“I’m going to miss you, you know?”, he said softly
“You act like you’ll never see or hear from me again”
“I know. It’s just that I’ve enjoyed spending this month with you, especially the past couple of weeks”
“I did too, but that doesn’t mean we can’t stay in touch. I told you before, I really want to see where this is headed. I’m sure I have vacation time coming up in a few months. I can come see in California. I’ve never been there before”, I mused
“You’ve never been to California?”
“Vegas was the first time I left the east coast”
“You’re joking”, he said in a mock hurt tone, “Well when you come I’ll give you the grand tour”
“I’ll hold you to it”
He held my face and kissed me softly. I laid on his chest as he leaned back on the couch. Daveed ran his fingers through my hair, smiling into the kiss.
“I do regret it, but not entirely”, he said breaking the silence
“Regret what?”
“Vegas. Look at where we are now”
“Making out on my couch?”, I grinned
“No”, he laughed, “Think about how this could have turned out a month ago. We could have been at each other’s throats this whole time, but here we are. We have a second chance and we can take all the time we need with this, no sense in rushing anything”
No sense in rushing, given that we just got our marriage annulled. Daveed and I had an interesting start to our friendship, but somehow it brought us closer. If we made it out of unexpectedly being married for thirty days, we could manage to get over being on other sides of the country.
I rest my head on his shoulder as he kissed my forehead, content with how peaceful this moment turned out to be. I began to smile as I thought of where we could possibly be headed. This was the first time I’ve been happy in a while. As I replayed how everything turned out between us, Daveed looked down at me and shared a very familiar grin.
“Why are you smiling?”, he asked
“Because I’m happy. You make me very happy”
Daveed kissed the back of my hand before giving it a squeeze, “Things may get a little tough given that we’ll be a bit of distance between us, but we’ll get through it. As long as I can be with you in the end, that’s all that matters...Who knows we might get married again”
“No, too soon Daveed. Too soon”, I groaned
He laughed as I buried my face in the crook of his neck. He wrapped his arms around me, kissing my forehead as the TV played in the background. We sat in a comfortable silence as his warmth and steady heartbeat lulled me to sleep.
This was the moment I always look back on, realizing that in the short time that we had known each other, he was somehow the one for me. Laying in his embrace was the only place, I ever wanted to be. Even if the distance would separate us, we always knew that we would find a way back to each other.
Maybe that trip to Vegas wasn’t as big as a mistake as I thought it was.

Groaning Spencer opened his eyes, sleep escaping him, it was rare after a case he could sleep for the first few nights, time zone changes did that to you, but tonight it seemed to be worse then ever. Sighing he opened his phone, seeing the time, he wondered if she would be on. Spencer was never one for online dating sites, but Garcia had simply installed the app on his phone as a way for him to meet friends, and if it became more then good, if he wanted to chat about smart science stuff then he had a way to, he had made a profile and had bumped into Garcia a few times, she would message a simple “Hello my pretty boy genius!” And that was fine, he wasn’t wholly embarrassed by his friends knowing he was on the app, Morgan would often poke fun at times nothing serious but he was an adult and it was harder to meet people in real life thanks to his job, so why not. His profile was simple, just a photo Garcia had taken of him that he found very well shot, he liked that you couldn’t really see his features, the sunset helping with that, his bio was simple, saying he was a Dr. The PH.D kind not the hospital kind, and he worked for the FBI, though many people seemed to on this site, being an app that went by location, it wasn’t a surprise people would lie and say they worked in the FBI or CIA, some he had seen claiming to be in the secrete service for the president, what ever worked for people he guessed. Sighing he scrolled through the photos of people on his homepage time line, no one had been on in hours, the last post from Garcia was her and Emily at post case drinks, shaking his head he smiled, scrolling he stopped on the name he had originally been searching for, the small green bubble indicating she was online, so she had the same insomnia type sleep schedule, clicking her name he smiled opening there messages. She had peeked his interest when she opened her first message with a science pick up line “are you made of Copper and Tellurium? Because you are CuTe” he had to admit that is was funny and very clever. After that the conversation seemed to just flow, he liked her humor and she often sent him photos that made him laugh, all of which never had her full face in them, she said her job was a dangerous one so he understood.
DTRRQ: Hey, shouldn’t you be asleep? He smiled typing back quickly WUIV: I should but sleep has run from me, and I should say the same to you, shouldn’t you be asleep? Healthy adults need about 7-8 hours every night…
DTRRQ: so are you not a healthy adult? Well you did tell me you take coffee with your sugar so… He snorted slightly, WUIV: Hey in theory that is one of the better bad habits to have.
DTRRQ: You know science says masturbation helps you sleep and can releases the good brain chemicals so you feel good too… Spencer felt his face flush as he looked at her message, she was correct but it caught him off guard at her forwardness WUIV: true, sex has the same effect… Man he was awkward…what would Morgan do when a girl would say that… DTRRQ: -sent photo- Spencer felt his eyebrows furrow in confusion, clicking the photo his eyes widened, it was her from an impressive photo angle her shirt pulled up enough to show the undersides of her breasts, she was on her knees, legs apart, her underwear on display DTRRQ: we could help each other out, because sleep sounds nice but also forgetting the bad from work sounds even better…. DTRRQ: if this is too forward I’m sorry, we can just go back to talking about other stuff… Spencer bit his lip, he felt his boxers tighten at the image, fuck it why not, they would never really meet, so why not. WUIV: no..no its…god its more then fine…I’ve never actually sexted before so…I don’t really It was true Spencer was never a fan of technology, DTRRQ: its easy, so if you were here, what would you do? Spencer bit his bottom lip thinking, if it was all anon then he had nothing to lose letting his own personal kink out WUIV: well, first I’d drag my fingers up your thighs, slowly, so very slowly, lean into your ear whispering “How bad do you want, daddies cock? Do you think kitten deserves it?” Spencer sighed, no one knew about his…well kink, he liked the DD/LG relationship, he had found that out on accident, a girl he had been with called him it during sex and he had never cum harder in his life, slowly he learned he fucking loved to have his partners call him daddy, he loved caring for them and fucking them senseless when the broke the rules, DTRRQ: -sent photo- Spencer opened it quick groaning at the sight, her hand was in her panties now discolored with her very obvious arousal. He set himself free gripping his shaft stroking himself slowly DTRRQ: fuck, please I’m so wet daddy, I want your cock. Spencer groaned his head going back slightly he wished he could hear her say that, WUIV: you want daddies cock, fucking you deeper each thrust, fuck,
DTRRQ: -sent a video- Spencers eyebrows shot up at that clicking play he almost came at the sight “Fuck daddy, please…please I want you to fuck me….fuck me till I can’t walk….fuck please can I cum…I need to cum” Spencer stroked his cock faster at her whimpers that finished the video, her hand was moving quickly as she fucked herself, he could only see her mouth but it was open and gasping out the words WUIV: fuck…cum…cum right now…all over daddies cock…like a good slut…like daddies good little whore. DTRRQ: -sent a video- Clicking play, he moaned as he fell over the edge, he could see her fingers moving fast to get her off Her moans loud, “Fuck….fuck…daddy I’m cumming! Fuck I’m cumming all over your cock….fuck please don’t stop…oh fuck….fuck!” Spencer watched her legs spasm and shake as she fell over the edge, her toes curling. His breathing was heavy as he came down from his climax, head back he sighed WUIV: wow….that was….holy fuck
DTRRQ: yeah….I don’t normally do that…but….holy fuck… The conversation slowly ended as they both decided sleep was much needed after that, though before that Spencer sent his own photo as a fair trade for her videos and photo. DTRRQ: holy….wow….so until next time then? If there is one? He smiled at that WUIV: only if you want there to be… DTRRQ: then until next time, sleep well…. DTRRQ: daddy. Spencer smiled locking his phone, that was the hottest most impulsive thing he’d ever done…and fuck he couldn’t wait till the next time.

Tumblr media
Your clothes are thrown all over your bed. You didn't pack for Vegas, thinking you'd be going on a date with a rockstar. Was It a date? Could this be classed as a date? You'd looked up Enzos after Wayne had told you. It was a rather fancy place, and you didn't have much in the way of fancy clothes in your bag.
Finally, you decided on a pair of fishnets under a pair of shorts and one of the few non-band tops you had in your bag it would have to do. The outfit you'd chosen was typically only to be worn with friends. Adam constantly told you that you dressed too young for your age and it was time to get new clothes. Ones appropriate for your age.
It was that sort of thing that made you question your with him. His friends wore band T-shirts, and he had even brought you one back when he saw Queen a few months ago. You remembered how he'd tried to make you jealous, but you'd smiled and told him while you respected Adam Lambert and knew that Freddie would've wanted his songs sung well into the future. But you couldn’t see Queen. Not without Freddie, it wasn't the real Queen experience.
He still tried to make you jealous, however.
You'd spent your afternoon finding a lawyer who would do an annulment. He'd given you the papers you needed and explained you both had to fill them out and sign before he could get you in front of a judge. It looked like a long process, but you just hoped it would be done before the six weeks were up.
It was finally time to leave. You could feel your heart pounding hard as you left the hotel. You decided to walk to Enzos, not because you were drinking but because it was around the corner. You could see your hands shaking with nerves as the restaurant came into view.
You were finally catching up with Eddie. That was the scariest part of all of this. The anticipation filled you full of fear. You didn't even remember the last conversation you had with him, and you didn't even remember marrying him. So, this was a terrifying moment.
Tumblr media
You stared at the stage. Corroded Coffin were on fire. You'd been forced into a veil and sash for the evening, which caught Eddie’s attention.
“I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart, I can see through the scars inside you!”
You stared in awe as he sang, his eyes locked on yours. He gave you a wink before he played his solo. You couldn't stop staring at his hands. The way he moved so skillfully through cords. The way his fingers glided up and down the fretboard. You’d started to bite your lip close to breaking the skin as you watched him finish your favourite song.
Tumblr media
Arriving at Enoz’s, you swallowed hard and opened the door. Stepping into the beautiful, warm and friendly candle-lit restaurant, you looked around and smiled gently as a waitress approached you.
“Reservation for Baggins.”
The waitress smiled and nodded.
“Right this way.”
Following her across the room, you saw him. It was like your heart stopped beating at that moment. The leather jacket settled nicely on the back of the chair, a crisp white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up showed off his tattoos, and you could see his combat boots and black jeans below the table, helping you feel less underdressed.
Then there was his hair. He had it down. He’d hardly ever worn it up; never in photos of the band or magazines did he have it up. You could see he was playing with it like he was nervous. What did he have to be nervous about? He was a Rockstar. Your heart fluttered as you stepped closer to him, a feeling of nervousness bubbling up inside.
“Mr. Baggins, your guest has arrived.”
Eddie turned around; it was like something in a romantic comedy. His face turned into a bright smile as he stood up. As he did, he bumped the table, causing water to spill over the tablecloth.
“Fuck.”
You couldn't help yourself. A smile broke out on your face as you looked at the flushed face of the rockstar you were meeting.
“Let's get you two a dry table, yeah?”
You smiled at the waitress and followed her to a different table. You smiled as Eddie pulled out your chair and pushed you in. The waitress placed the menus down and then left the two of you alone.
“Hi.”
You looked up and smiled as you saw how awkward he looked.
“Hi.”
There was an awkward air between the two of you as you sat together, your eyes on each other. Eddie’s eyes were hypnotic up close; you could get lost in those chocolate swirls. Picking up your glass of water, you looked down only to find they still needed to be filled. You couldn't help the look of embarrassment.
“Thank you for wearing jeans, by the way. I was worried I'd be really underdressed.”
Eddie laughed as he fiddled with the napkin on the table.
“Business up top, party down below.”
“Like a mullet.”
Eddie got excited at this, nodding and pointing.
“Exactly! My friends didn't get it.”
You laughed, a sense of pride filling you at that moment.
“A clothing mullet, that's a first.”
You mused as you tucked your hair behind your ear and smiled. Eddie looked at you and grinned.
“I figured I better look smart for my wife.”
The second that word left his lips, your heart thumped hard in your chest. It sounded so wonderful coming from his lips. Part of you felt like you couldn't breathe, and you wanted to keep that title of Eddie’s wife.
“I shouldn't have left you with Tammy, and I'm sorry I did.”
“It's okay, though I wanted to hit her round the head. Rude bitch.”
Eddie laughed as he leaned back in his chair while the waitress filled your glasses. You were surprised at how easy he was to talk to; he seemed happy being around you. It made you happy.
“I lost a bet. That's the only reason I employed her.”
You stared at Eddie, your eyes wide at his admittance.
“I'm sorry, you only employed her because of a bet?”
You watched him playing with his hair, using it to hide his face as he looked at you.
“Yeah. My friend Steve bet me I couldn't get her to come to my Halloween party dressed as a muppet.”
“Why?”
“Steve and Robin say she sings like a muppet. If I could pull that off, it would've been an amazing moment of entertainment for both of them. But she came in this dress thinking there would be some big musicians and managers there.”
You stared, slightly dumbfounded at his admittance.
“I have to employ her for a year. She's not even good at her job.”
“So I noticed.” You commented with a smirk. “What would you have gotten if you won?”
“I wanted him to be in the He Is video, he won though sadly.”
You couldn't help but smile at least neither of them had some sort of sexist bet over a girl. One was to give her a decent-paid job, while the other was to get a friend in an awesome video. You couldn't help but admire that.
“So, about Veg-”
“Are you two ready to order?”
You looked at the waitress, trying hard not to be annoyed that she'd just interrupted you.
“I'll have the carbonara.”
You smiled when Eddie ordered. He seemed to know what he liked. Scanning the menu, you found the vegetable lasagna and decided to settle on that.
“So about Vegas.”
You started once again; after being left alone.
“I found a marriage certificate in my bag, we apparently…”
“Yeah, we got married.”
He was so casual about it as he leaned back in his chair.
“I don't remember it.”
“Well, that is what every groom wants to hear.”
Eddie joked with a smirk.
“You're serious? You don't remember it?”
His tone became slightly serious as you shook your head.
“I went to a lawyer, and he said we can get it annulled. We just have to get some papers filled out.”
“What if I don't want to?”
You frowned as you looked at Eddie. You hadn't thought of that. What if he didn't want to divorce you?
“I'm kidding.”
You let out a sigh of relief.
“Good, because I'm getting married in six weeks.”
“I know.”
“What?”
You stared at Eddie. You were stunned. He knew you were getting married, but he married you anyway?
“You told me about Adam, and then we drank some more.”
You felt angry, he knew. Yet he had the guts to fucking marry you.
“You… you asshole!”
“Oh Princess, look I am so-.” Before he could say anything else, you threw your glass of water over him and stood up. Shaking your head at him, you walked out of the restaurant. You couldn’t help but feel frustrated, angry, confused. What type of guy did something like that? “Princess, come on.”
Eddie had thrown money onto the table and rushed out after you, and he was dripping wet. His shirt was starting to cling to his torso. But you didn’t care right now. You were mad, you were going to walk away, regardless of how fucking hot he looked.
“Princess, please.”
“Stop calling me that!”
You snapped and turned around to look at him. Your eyes couldn’t help but glance down at the fabric sticking to his stomach. No matter how mad you were, it made your stomach twist and turn slightly. All you could think about was Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice.
“Look, I’m sorry, okay?”
“No, it’s not okay. I am getting married, and you married me and then ran away. I had to follow you to this tiny ass town to make sure I could still get married.”
“Even if you’re making a mistake?”
You stared at Eddie, your lips parted as you looked at him. A shiver ran down your spine as he spoke words that you’d never dared think about.
“You know nothing about me. You know nothing about me and Adam.”
“No? I know that he doesn’t like you working. He constantly criticises your clothes: and your friends, he makes you feel small. Makes you feel worthless.”
You looked at him, blinking as you tried to prevent the tears. Adam did every single one of those things and so much more. He never touched you, but it didn’t stop him from speaking to you like you were shit. Causing you to feel like you’d been punched in the gut. “You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
He wanted to argue, but he didn’t. Instead, he bit down on his lip and looked at you. A puppy-like look appeared on his face as he slowly stepped toward you and reached out and touched your arm.
“Look, I’m sorry. I never meant to upset you.”
He slowly moved his hand to touch your cheek; his eyes bore into yours.
“I’ll sign the papers. I have one condition, however.”
You kept your eyes on his, your heart fluttering as he stood this close to you. You couldn’t pull your eyes from his.
“What?”
“Stay the week. Attend all this awful wedding stuff that being a single person can be hard to endure, and once the wedding is over, I'll sign the papers, meet the judge and you can be on your merry way.”
Silence took over the pair of you. Nothing but the distant chatter of people and cars driving past.
“You want me to come to some stranger's wedding as your wife?”
“No, as my friend.” He replies softly and gently.
“But then why won't you sign?”
Eddie looked at you. He didn't want to admit that he hoped he could change your mind and get you to call off your wedding. He didn't care if you wanted to stay with him. He just felt as if his mother had sent you to him to protect where he failed to protect her.
“Call it insurance? We don't know each other that well… or at all really and this way we both keep our promises.”
You swallowed hard, one week. Just one. You could do that.
“Fine, I'll have to go shopping though I don't have anything for a wedding.”
“I'll pay, there are several different functions.”
“I don't need you to pay.”
“I didn't say you did, but it's a gesture.”
“I can pay for myself.”
“Then let me at least put you up, you can stay at my place and I'll stay at Wayne’s.”
“Eddie…”
“No, no arguing. Treat it like an air BnB or something. You get my place. Then you don't have to stay in the inn.”
You sighed, gently but then nodded softly.
“Okay.”
“Great!”
Eddie smiled as you came to a stop walking outside the inn.
“I'll be here to pick you up in the morning.”
“Okay.”
He took his phone out of his pocket and handed it to you.
“For your number.”
You smiled gently and put it in (you had to use your phone cause you never remember it) then rang yourself to get his number.
“I'll call you in the morning and we can figure out a time.”
“Okay, sounds good to me.”
You stared at each other for a moment, your heart thumping as you handed back his phone and your fingers touched his.
“I'll see you tomorrow, Goodnight.”
“Eddie, wait.”
You stepped closer to him, looking up at him.
“Yeah?”
“What happened in Vegas?”
Eddie smirked, looking down into your eyes with a cocky little smirk. Leaning in, he whispered in your ear his voice causing goosebumps up your body. You watched him walk away, the chill in the air wrapping around you as his words echoed in your mind.
“I'll tell you tomorrow Princess.”

You gotta help me out. It's all a blur last night. We need a taxi 'cause you're hungover and I'm broke. I lost my fake ID. But you lost the motel key. Spare me your freaking dirty looks now. Don't blame me. You wanna cash out and get the hell outta town. Don't be a baby. Remember what you told me. Shut up and put your money where your mouth is. That's what you get for waking up in Vegas. Get up and shake the glitter off your clothes now. That's what you get for waking up in Vegas.

Waking Up in Vegas--Ch. 44
Tumblr media
Chapter 44: You Made It So Sweet
Mera, Morning, 10:32 AM
I took a deep breath and looked around the concrete courtyard of the University of Nevada’s Las Vegas campus. It was dotted with squares of landscaping made of pale sandy soil planted with small plants, shrubs, and a few trees. Benches and bike racks sat along the sides of the courtyard beneath white-stoned buildings. Straight ahead was a causeway of concrete split in half by bright green grass and a canopy of trees.
The sun was blinding overhead as Dean and I walked the length of the campus. His fingers were threaded with mine as we passed from the heat of the courtyard beneath the shade of the causeway. I smiled as I breathed in the scent of damp tree leaves.
“Is it strange that I’m nervous?” I asked, looking up into the canopy of trees. “I’m in my thirties. I already have a degree. But I feel like a green freshman.”
Dean withdrew his hand and tucked his arm around my shoulder, pulling me close. He dropped a kiss on top of my head. “You’re finally getting to do something for you,” he said quietly.
My heart skipped a beat at the idea that he was right. I was finally doing something that I’d wanted to do for so long. This was what had been denied to me for most of my adult life. This feeling is what I’d given up to live the life Seth wanted. I’d resented him for it for longer than I could remember, but being with Dean had given me the ability to let go of it.
“They gave me a choice of classes,” I said, hearing the awe in my voice. “I’m taking some online, and some of them here. I can still work and travel with you.”
He stopped and turned me toward him. His blue eyes were beautiful and earnest, and I could see the dimple hidden beneath his beard when he smiled lopsidedly. “If that’s what you want, then nothing else would make me happier. If you want to stay home and focus on school, then that will make me happy, too.”
Dean kissed my forehead and took me by the hand, leading me back down the causeway beneath the trees. We were quiet for a while, meandering across the center of the campus. I gave myself time to come to grips with the fact that this was real. That I was finally getting to live the dream I’d always wanted.
I dropped my head against his shoulder and smiled. “Thank you, Dean. For everything. For this.”
My husband didn’t say anything. Instead, he smiled softly. “I never thought I’d be good enough for a woman like you—college degree, forgotten more than I’ll ever know—and yet here I am… surprised to find every day that I’m worthy of you.”
“You were always worthy of anything and everything you wanted, Dean. And I’ve known it since the day I met you.”
Seth, Afternoon, 1:08 PM
Roman sat across the table in catering, watching me with a furrowed brow. “She’s coming back to work tonight. Are you going to be able to keep your shit together?”
I sat back in my chair, feeling strangely hollow at the news. I’d spent my entire time off at my parents’ place in Iowa, reliving more of the past than I’d wanted to. Those memories had leached out every ounce of feeling out of me. I honestly didn’t know how I was functioning.
“I don’t intend on having to visit the trainer’s room.”
He leaned forward and put his elbows on the table. “You have a title defense tonight. Don’t fuck it up. Vince is already pissed with you two after that fight in the hallway.”
It didn’t matter to Roman who threw that first punch, only that the three of us had gotten reamed for it. Dean and me for fighting and Roman for not breaking it up—even though he hadn’t even been in the building.
“I’m good, Ro,” I assured him, not surprised by the fact that my voice sounded robotic. I felt that way. “I’m good.”
He started to say something, but stopped mid-sound. He was looking over my shoulder. I didn’t need to look to know who it was, but I turned around anyway. There was no surprise that it was Mera and Dean. They walked as they always did, side-by-side and moving as if they revolved around each other. My mind conjured up memories when we had been like that, but they drifted away like mist in the wind. I was so numb that I couldn’t hang on, even as it ripped into what was left of my heart.
“Sup, boys?” Dean said calmly. We’d hardly spoken since we’d been chewed out by Vince except for that disastrous call while she was in the hospital. The fact that he was acting like nothing happened was messing with my head.
“Not much,” Roman responded as he pulled out the chair at his side. “Come sit with me, Mera.”
She smiled and sank down into the offered seat, dropping a backpack on the floor by her feet. Dean sat on her other side. He watched me for a moment then turned his full attention to her. Mera practically glowed under his gaze.
“What’s the word on your last night?” Roman asked, side-eyeing me even as he spoke.
“There won’t be one.” Mera’s grin got bigger and she looked between the three of us. “I went by the campus last week. I’m taking a mix of online and on-campus classes. You’re still stuck with me.”
“We’d be lost without you,” I said, surprised at my own sincerity.
She blushed a little, but my heart was so raw that there was no skipped beat or racing pulse. “Thank you,” she said as if she really meant it.
The fact that I was so desperately numb stopped any happiness I might have had about that statement. They kept talking, but I drifted away into something like a white-noise trance. By the time I pulled out of it, Mera and Dean were gone.
“What’s wrong with you?” Roman’s words pulled me back to reality. “Not that I’m complaining about you not getting into another fight.”
I sat back and sighed, running my hand over my face. “This is… acceptance, I guess? Depression? Both? I don’t know what. I just know that I’m… empty. I’ve got nothing left, Roman.”
He looked at me for a while, not sure what he was thinking. I couldn’t remember being this sad or this lost. It sent me out of control, and I didn’t know how to handle it.
“Seth?” His voice was filled with worry when he said my name. “This isn’t okay, man. It’s like you only have three settings for her—obsessed, indifferent, or despondent. This isn’t what I meant when I said get your shit together.”
I sighed. “I haven’t had my shit together in a long time.”
Mera, Afternoon, 1:15 PM
“Go on,” Dean soothed from his spot on the edge of my trainer’s table. He reached out and brushed his fingers against my upper arm. “I can see it in your eyes.”
My heart thumped in my chest. I could feel it my pulse skimming along at my wrists and the base of my throat. “What do you mean?” I didn’t want to look at him, even though I knew what he meant.
“You saw him just like I did, Mera. And I know you’re worried about him.” He drew me close so that I stood between his knees. Then his fingers threaded with mine. His lips ghosted over my brow. “I never thought I’d prefer him being jealous and insane to whatever it is he was just now.”
“Is it strange that I still care?” My head dropped against his shoulder. I breathed deep of the scent of my husband. No matter how far away we were from Las Vegas, I could always smell the sweetness and heat of the desert air. It was calming in a way that nothing else ever could be.
“No,” Dean replied quietly. He kissed the top of my head. “It would be strange if you didn’t. You have a heart that’s too good to hate anyone, no matter how much they’ve hurt you.” He nuzzled his nose against my hair. “Now go on. Go talk to him.”
I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. “Thank you,” I whispered.
He squeezed my fingers and let me walk away. It never ceased to amaze me at how much Dean loved me. It was present each and every time he let me go, that he gave me the freedom to choose, and that he trusted me to come back to him on my own.
Seth hadn’t moved from where he’d been in catering. Roman was gone, but Seth was still there, staring into space. I slipped into the seat beside him and, even then, he didn’t move.
It wasn’t until I bumped my shoulder into his that he looked around. I’d known him long enough to see the pain in his deep brown eyes. My heart ached for the boy I’d known and for the man I’d loved most of my life.
“Hey,” I said quietly, looking sideways at him “Are you okay?”
Seth shrugged, but didn’t say anything. I turned in the chair so I could face him and rested my chin on his shoulder. “Talk to me, Bee. Please?”
“You haven’t called me that in years, Mera,” he said, hardly loud enough to be heard. Still, he tilted his head and rested his cheek against my hair.
“I’m worried about you,” I replied.
“I thought you stopped caring about me.”
“Seth…” I blinked away tears. “I never stopped caring about Colby. I never stopped and I never will. That’s the person I knew, the boy I grew up with, and the man I loved. Colby was my best friend for most of my life.”
“We used to be more than that.” His voice was hollow, but I could still hear the pain. “There used to be a time when it was you and me against the world. Now… now it’s you and Dean. And I’m just here.”
“Look at me.” The words came out stronger than I wanted, but they had the desired effect. Seth turned his head, and the look on his face broke my heart. “You’re only alone if you want to be, Colby.”
“There’s no one else for me but you, Mera. I’ve known it my whole life. But it scared me.” He spoke quietly. I reached for his hand and held it between my own. “I was an ass. And I hurt you… Christ, did I hurt you. I’m sorry, Mera. I’m so sorry.”
I didn’t stop the tears when they came this time. “That’s all I’ve ever wanted to hear from you, Colby.”
His brown eyes blurred. “It’s too late, isn’t it?”
“Not for you to be the man I know you can be.” I squeezed his hand. “Not for you to be my best friend again. And not for you and Dean to patch things up.”

Waking Up In Vegas II Alex + Eve
Eve hadn’t been sure what to pack for Vegas, and so she’d packed everything. Her bags laid strewn around the room, and even more of them took up a large proportion of the spare double bed in the room. She had no intention of using that bed when these was a perfectly good one that came with Alex as a bonus prize. Now, waking up bleary eyed, she regretted not unpacking properly. She wasn’t used to having many belongings, but now that she did, she needed to learn to take care of them.
Still, when she felt Alex’s arms shift around her, her mind was brought back to a more pressing matter. She was in bed with Alex. A smug grin instantly lit up her face. If only my mother could see me now. She shifted in the slumbering brunette’s embrace and brushed the girl’s dark hair out of her face before beginning to press feather light kisses along her jaw and up to her cheek bones. “Wake up, sleepy head,” she whispered, certain that if she listened hard enough she could hear Alex dreaming.
