Just figured I'd send in an ask at 1am because that's a logical thing to do - but I'm curious, which of your OCs enjoy being the recipient of cuddles/super soft treatment (like playing with their hair, or giving them their favourite snacks, or doing the little thumb stroke thing when holding hands) (can be perceived as platonic or romantic affection whatever the vibes are (^w^))

A lot of my OCs like being the recipient AND the givers of such sweet affection. Sei, Vihaan, Koron, Thais and Zion are some of the notorious ones that like giving and receiving

Thais and Koron are very touch starved. Once they find someone/friends that don't mind physical touch, they go ham with it lol They do get bashful the first handful of times they receive tender affection though

Koron ADORES ruffling people's hair and giving pats on backs! Sometimes brings you in for a little side squeeze, too. A big smile on his face as he does it Close friends and partners get the privilege of playing with his hair, and of holding hands virtually all the time they're together asfdgh (many kisses to the back of their hand and knuckles, too)

Thais blushes at all soft affection given to her, a pretty sight~ She very much enjoys when friends play with her hair (will be lulled to a sleepy state). And what goes great with a sleepy sweetheart? That's right, cuddles! Thais likes to cuddle with close friends/partners, she's also satisfied by simply resting her head on their shoulder or chest. As for affection she likes to give, her lap is free real estate for sleeping! Use it as a pillow! Goat will hum a melody and play with your hair to help you relax~

Sei likes being physically close to people due to touch being his best sense. If someone returns the gestures of hand holding, hugs, nuzzles right back at him, they've made him one very happy eel! He mimics the tenderness or forcefulness of the hugs, tugs, holding he's given. So, at the beginning, he may not fully understand why you're being so gentle. Context clues will be thoroughly used to figure out the tenderness is due to love and forcefulness due to extreme excitement I don't need to say that he GOES BONKERS if you bring him his favorite snacks. You just won a bone crushing hug from the eel

That's just how Vihaan is~ He's a very friendly guy and likes getting into people's personal spaces. All kinds of physical affection are right up his alley! It's his primary love language to give and receive! For friends, his touch is a little more on the enthusiastic and energetic side. For a lover or a potential partner or someone very close to him, his touch is soft and slightly teasing, accompanies it with lots of eye contact. He will serenade you right then and there

Zion, my precious aroace he/they ❤ He likes soft affection a whole lot, hits the wonderful middle ground between caring friendship-to-qpr he adores with all his heart. Main thing they like to give is bringing snacks, cozy blankets, hot drinks to the recipient of the gesture. What they love to receive is hand holding and leaning on his shoulder when relaxing

Now, about those who like to just GIVE the affection

Evander is the one. He can give encouragement, advice, comforting... but is tremendously awkward when he's in the receiving end. Bunny has lots of Big Bro energy and it shows in how he prefers to give than to receive

Nice arms with some muscle, his go-to is giving warm hugs that engulf you in comfort

Xeron is also in this area, mainly because he's a little bit in denial that he LOVES tender gestures. Of course, he loves it when Thais pampers him in her beautiful soft ways, but is at a loss on how to return it exactly. His way of returning it is by doing favors or giving small gifts of food. The person who has seen the most tender side of him is his sibling and even they have received tender loving from Xe just a handful of times. Boyo needs to learn from the Affection Masters *Thais & Vihaan vibrate in the distance*

And about the RECEIVERS!!

BLAKE

Blake all the way!! This boy is quite spoiled, so he wants to be given all sorts and types of affection!! NOTHING BETTER THAN GENTLE AFFECTION LIKE THAT!! His hair is prime and fluffy to play with, scratch the base of his ears too! Hug him, cuddle him, give him little kisses all over his freckled cheeks! HE LOVES IT!!! ...good luck getting affection out of him though lol

Tzuriel is kinda here Due to him sneaking into nightclubs and parties to gain info with his hacker ways, they're very used to getting flirt with and being touched They much prefer being pampered than pampering someone else. The only person who has gotten Tzu pampering is Zion, their closest friend and virtually their brother

And those are all the ones I can picture with this!!

Mikha, Helios, Izel are the more "hardass" OCs of mine. They recoil at genuine soft affection because they've been shown so little of it

Jet... is proving difficult to think of for this scenario I think he's in denial about giving and receiving. Secretly loves it and would love to build up courage to give it... but first, his goal to bring justice to his father

Just outta curiosity, how do your OCs play? You don't have to say much but basically who's most innocent, nasty, the one that dominates the game?

Thais - once in a while hits the nail with a very crude, dark answer, it's still a funny answer though (or at least they all laugh in the "woooaaaah that's fucked up omg lmao good one" way)

Blake - he's probably the one with most losses from the group. Like Thais, nails a good (be it crude or inappropriate) answer very rarely. He doesn't mind, he's there to enjoy the other's answers

Sei - something just tells me this crackhead will CLEAN THE FLOOR WITH EVERYONE'S ANSWERS. Sei hits you with the most frightening or gag worthy stuff, he gets a lot of "extra points" for breaking everyone's mind. the heart of the cards is with him

Xeron - he's probably the most innocent. I know for sure the first time he played, he was VERY shocked by the things the cards said. Thais had to take time to reassure him that it was just a game and things weren't to be taken seriously Due to this innocence, Xe strikes the funny bone a lot. Like, he will answer with things like "socks" "bananas" "making mama cry" and it fits in such a stupid way, everyone ends up hurting from how much they end up laughing. Many blank cards end in his hands (yanno, the blank white cards so you can write whatever answer you want on them)

I'd write about all my OCs but I'm genuinely lost on what other types of answers/players there are for CAH

Koron - he's straight up the one always trying to answer with nasty sexual things. His favorite card is "making the pen¡ses kiss" and I swear he freaking carries the damn thing in his wallet

3) AND CAUSE I NOTICE THIS TREND WHERE I LIKE TO MAKE OCS THAT ARE STRONG AND CAN CARRY PEOPLE TO BED. How would your OCs react if they found out got carried to bed and tucked in after falling asleep at a random place?

1) My 1st Years in group projects

🎮 Jet Fletcher 👥 is the typical leader of the group, appoints himself as such, will make sure to push the work into perfection so everyone who rightfully contributed to it gets a perfect grade. He is very strict and expects everyone to do their best. If there's a missing link there, someone who refuses to work, he will give them two tries before notifying the teacher that the teammate did nothing/the bare minimum and doesn't deserve the same grade.

Due to this, Jet does better with people who can take orders or with leaders that don't mind becoming part of the "followers" to someone else. People that have brains to them or unparalleled drive to do good and learn.

Twst characters he would do well with in a group project: Jack Howl, Sebek Zigvolt, Deuce Spade (bc of his drive to be a honors student), Riddle Rosehearts, Jamil Viper, Kalim Al-Asim (due to his enthusiasm to learn), Trey Clover, Vil Shcoenheit

~ ~

🖋 Zion Oum 🖤 is very introverted, he does best as an order follower than the leader that organizes the group. Ideally, Zion prefers groups composed of his friends or friendly acquaintances so he isn't forced to interact and talk with others he doesn't know. If needed be, he can take on the position of leader/team representative. Of course, Oum would like to be in teams where everyone carries their own weight. He doesn't stand lazy students that do shit. His way of "calling out" these useless student to the teacher is not adding them to the project cover and adding a note at the end of the project to notify of the situation.

Zion does better with people who are outspoken, friendly and respect his boundaries, and that carry out the project to their best capabilities. They don't need to get a perfect score, he's content with having everyone in the team do their best efforts.

Twst boys he'd do well with: Deuce Spade, Jack Howl, Epel Felmier, Ortho Shroud, Ruggie Bucchi, Idia Shroud, Silver, Lilia Vanrouge

🔮 Tzuriel 🌟 is an elusive little fellow... They can definitely take the rule of leader, but that's too time consuming and a big responsibility~ Won't you do it better than him~? They're certain you will! If push comes to shove (aka it's one/two days before deadline), then they'll put on those big boy pants and order everyone around.

If there's dead weight in their team, they will very much kick them out of the team's group chat before taking screens of the convos to have evidence of their uncooperative ass to show to the teacher. Tzu is a drama lover and is NOT AFRAID AT ALL of standing up for the hardworking teammates. Square up, Tzu's ready to yell at your face with all his sass, THEY WILL ROAST YOU in front of the entire class

However, there's an easy way to "win" their favor.... Pay up, be it with money or high end beauty products, and they'll add you back into the project without objections. OH! Yeah, pay EVERY hardworking teammate what they desire. Until everyone gets their pay, you'll be added back no sweat

Tzuriel does better with earnest peeps that can pull their weight; friends, acquaintances, unknown people, he does well with everyone. Like Zion, the work doesn't need to be perfect, but Tzu does the finishing edits and additions to make it very damn near perfect. If you want a good grade, but don't wanna work and have the money to waste, join their team and simply give the pay everyone involved desires. You won't be disappointed by the resulting grade

Twst boys he'd do well with: Ace Trappola, Ruggie Bucchi, Leona Kingscholar (guess who paid the price~), Kalim Al-Asim, Azul Ashengrotto (there's a lot of jabs at each other), Cater Diamond, Lilia Vanrouge

🔴 Mikhail 👁‍🗨.... hmm.... He prefers doing the work by his own accords. Doesn't want or need others to pull him down when he can do everything 10x better than with any potential teammates. He's quite smart, but there are some subjects that just... scramble his brain badly. It's only in those classes that I can see him trying to join the team he was assigned on/was leftover to join (damn my heart broke writing the 'leftover'). Will be very straight to the point and explain he's no good with these topics, but he will try.

May the Seven forbid him from joining a team full of lazy students in these difficult subjects... He will try to do all the work himself, keep only his name on the cover. If difficulties arise, Mikha calls up Helios for help (and sometimes Helios extends a formal card to the teacher explaining his brother's difficulties and asking for an extension)

So, Mikha prefers working alone and veeery rarely relies on the team he's on. If no one wants to work, he'll do his own personal project with the help of his brother if he finds it too difficult to understand. Ideally, Mikha would need teammates that are patient, smart, good at explaining, but have firm authority over him to wash away any ideas of reveling from his mind (aka Helios 2.0).

Twst boys he'd do well with: Sebek Zigvolt (booming voice definitely tones Mikha down), Riddle Rosehearts (angry small, very smart and disciplined, a leader he's willing to follow), Azul Ashengrotto, Jade Leech (too eerie to cross), Jamil Viper (poat chapter 4), Vil Schoenheit, Rook Hunt (intimidating as is to ever think of disobeying)

2) OC Flying Capabilities

~ Garden's Bounty ~

Best at flying: Xeron Bhatt 🌺

Worst at flying (on broom): Thais Adamante 🐐

~ ~

🌼 Thais 🐐 is no good when handed a broom. She struggles to keep her balance. Being more aware of the height sitting down like that prickles her slight fear of heights, sometimes makes her dizzy.

She has others means of flying that require no broom, does LEAGUES better with such means (still deciding if Vargas allows her to use this method or not)

She calls it "going with the wind", a skill commonly taught to kids back in her hometown to travel fast between isles. A gust is summoned or utilized to have it carry her off to wherever she needs to go. Since her forte is plant magic, there will often be leaves, petals, or stray flowers in her winds to ground her magic better.

Broom skills: horrible

Pose on broom: I'd say like Riddle's, just more trembly and with a very tight grip on the stick

Going with the wind skills: perfect

Pose in the wind: looks as if she were standing, surrounded by swirling gusts (more less like Ortho's take off pose)

~ ~

🐇 Blake's ❤ skills are okay, nothing too notorious or flashy. Average flying skills, he sits as one normally does on a broom, but tends to lean forward. The leaning leads to struggles when taking off and gaining speed. Reflexes are on point, though Holds his ground (or shall I say air?) well

Overall: average skills, nice reflexes; with practice he can get better

Pose on broom: similar to Deuce's

🌫 Sei 💜 is the risktaker of the group, go figure. He deosn't sit, his broom isn't even in a horizontal position. No no, he goes VERTICAL, loosely hugs the broom like a sloth And you know what? It works very well for him! His skills are marvelous!

Just don't make/let him go too high up because the bright sunlight hurts his eyes and breaks his concentration. If he wants to go high, only at night

Overall: great skills, wack flying style

Pose on broom: vertical broom with a Sei hugging it like a koala does a trunk

~ ~

💥 Xeron 🌺 is the best flyer of this group. Steady flying, perfect posture, sharp reflexes, and decent speed. Xe applies the same outlook to flying as he does to horse riding: respect your steed and have mutual trust, everything will go smoothly afterwards. This boy very much treats his broom like a horse.

Although he has the skills to, Xeron prefers not to practice risky maneuvers and flashy tricks. Flying is a discipline and a means of transportation to him, not something to be stupid with.... but maybe this mentality could change later on~ (c'mon, fae~ losen up a bit! "Not everything in life merits seriousness," as your guardian said)

Overall: wonderful flying skills; teach him how to have fun

Pose on broom: very similar to Silver's, I'd say

Best at flying: Koron

Could do better: Tzuriel

Honestly, everyone from this group is a decent pilot!

🌑 Koron 🔥 is all about the SPEED!!! He's a sporty guy that likes his freedom (what, if not flying and feeling the breeze in your hair, gives a greater sense of freedom?), and is a thrill seeker. Not to mention, Magift was one of the things he loved and enjoyed the most.

Steady flyer, sharp reflexes, easily gains speed, makes flying seem easy with how relaxed and cool he looks. K-Boy likes to do tricks, loops, drops, races, everything (omg he tries so hard to be the cool senpai)! Flying is simply the best~

I will say, however, Koron's flying skills are more suited for sports rather than transportation or racing

With the help of Zion and other dorm members, he'll build a broom that utilizes his UM to zoom around everywhere!

Overall: perfect skills with a dash of cool flashiness. Could use some awareness of injury though, he's too reckless

Pose on broom: changes depending on what he wants to do. Sometimes he stands on it like a skateboard, sometimes he sits all pretty, others like one normally sits, and there are times where he hangs off the thing

~ ~

🎮 Jet 👥 is the runner up to Koron (he likes to call himself Koron's protege). Nice balance, good reflexes, can do a couple tricks, but what stands out is his ability to steadily and gradually gain speed and height. He developed his own technique to basically not end up exhausted and nauseous when doing this. Steady and in the perfect balance of slow enough for his body to process the change, and speedy enough to outrun opponents

His flying style is more suited for long distance races, or idk... some competition of who can fly the highest without passing out asadffd (forgive me i know nothing about sports)

Overall: great skills, unparalleled stamina and endurance for long flies

Pose on broom: similar to Sebek's; lays almost flat over the stick when going at his top speed and height

~ ~

🖋 Zion 🖤 is probably the most suited for piloting a broom when someone else is traveling with him. He's also the best suited for racing (and escaping, if you ever need wings)

Nimble and light, Zi-Guy can make the narrowest turns and squeeze between obstacles with no difficulty. He isn't as efficient as Jet with his stamina for speed, but the burst he can muster is something to behold

Overall: good skills, needs some work on endurance

Pose: legs together on one side, leaning slightly forward and progressively leans more as he speeds up. If someone's flying with him, he sits normally

Don't get me wrong, 🔮 Tzuriel 🌟 being pointed out as the "worst" of this group doesn't mean he can't fly or does a terrible job at it. Like I said in the beginning, everyone here makes a good pilot

The thing with Tzu is that they don't really... input much effort to flying. It's not something they're interested in, so why bother?

Average skills, decent reflexes, but nothing to exalt. They do like to try his hand with the occasional trick, mostly when someone accompanies them... yanno, for the lolz

Overall: Average skills, not interested in flying

Pose on broom: kinda like Zion, where their legs are both to one side and they can look all royal and elegant

~ Asshole Brigade ~

[gotta search for a better name lol]

Best at flying: Izel

Worst at flying: Mikhail, Helios close behind

Rich Royal Dragon Boy... that should say it all (? 💠 Izel 🐲 does as he pleases with a little bit of bribe for the crow

He flies using his wings. Powerful things, I tell ya. Add to it that he's a wind dragon fae... yup, there's no one who can outdo him or compare to his skills

Pirouettes, speed, sharp turns and dodging moving obstacles, flying high, dips, drops, loops, rolls, he can do it all! He only puts on a show when he wants to impress someone or assert dominance over the skies ("My family crest doesn't say 'Rules of Skies' for nothing!")

He's still a great broom rider, though!

Simply put, the wind is his element, and no one's bond can compare to his

Overall: Best One Of Them All

Pose: I mean... however you imagine dragon humans/humanoids to fly? Similar to how angels fly

On broom: typical sitting position, sometimes in a sidesaddle position when he wants a calm ride or is in company of other royals

Ah, the most reckless-but-in-a-clam-way of all.... Vihaan

👑 Vihaan's 🧡 skills are average. He gets a passing grade and fulfills whatever exercises Vargas demands, that's enough skill, in his opinion. He has more importan things to focus that energy and effort to ("Like music!")

Sufficient enough to pass class, get him around places, and for a quick calming ride when he's in need of destressing

"But, Zack, you said he's reckless." Ad he is! If he's flying with a friend or someone he wants to chat up to get something, he will be in a playful mood. Meaning: Vihaan will attempt to do some tricks to impress or threaten the person. He also tends to get distracted when flying, breaking his concentration and having him pummel straight to the ground. He reacts fast, don't worry, it's just minor scratches

Overall: average skills; remaining focused on the task would help a lot

Pose on broom: both legs on top of the stick, crossed, he's leaning some ways back, one arm behind him as support (looks kinda like when you lean back and relax on one of those beach chairs, but with a hand back as support)

~ ~

Dear public, we've arrived to Disaster Land

⚫ Helios 👁‍🗨 isn't built for flying. He won't ride a broom unless it's one of the mechanical ones his family's conglomerate produces. Does not trust regular brooms AT ALL (shares a fear of heights with his brother lol)

How did he pass P.E. then, since he's a 4th year? He always carried a mini stabilizer and propulsor combo, hidden within the bristles of the broom. Little does he know, he can fly decently now, without the tech aid

Let's just say... he's more suited for piloting airships Like, seriously, he pilots them perfectly. Suddenly, that fear of his is gone

Overall: cheats, could be a decent pilot

Pose on broom: similar to Azul's, he kinda drapes himself on the stick and holds tight

Finally, Disaster Land founder himself

🔴 Mikha 👁‍🗨.... uuuh.... yeah....

just... yeah

He has a very notorious fear of heights he disguises with aggression Every time the broom (read as: his own self controlled magic) goes haywire and causes him to suddenly dip, he bites the freaking broom stick

Don't torture the poor guy, let him be

Overall: the most horrible flying skills. Actually, there's no skills in this one. Don't let him lift off, keep him on the ground

Pose on broom: deranged hugs the stick close to his chest, lays almost flat on it

3) OCs finding out they were carried to bed after falling asleep in random place

~ Garden's Bounty ~

🐐 Thais - "Oh dear, I'm so sorry! My apologies!" Will blush and apologize. She didn't mean to fall asleep there and inconvenience you! But she will be flattered, a tiny bit, that was a very kind gesture. "Say, what's your favorite flower, or fruit? Do you like honey?" Expect a small bouquet, fruit basket and/or jar of fresh honey from her home isle as thanks

🐇 Blake - "Ah, I did that? Hmm... Well, much obliged!" There will be a slight blush on his freckled cheeks (scratches one to try and mask the dusting of pink), ears droop down a little in embarrassment. He's thankful for what you did, will give back any way he can (homework aid, a blanket when they are sleeping in a random place, share his sweets, anything)

💜 Sei - "I was treated... like a princess! *cue his uneven chuckle*" I'm certain Sei woke up when he was being carried, but his mind was still heavy with sleep, probably ended up saying something ridiculous in this state. He's grateful! And will show it through food; be prepared to have a box worth of your favorite snacks to be left off at your doorstep, signed by "the light in the dark"

🌺 Xeron - "... thanks..." You can see steam coming off him as he bashfully delivers a very strained thanks. He's not looking you in the eye, either. My poor fae is very nervous, and surprised you managed to lift him up and put him to bed. Count on him to return the same favor if he catches you sleeping somewhere strange (you may also be offered a small plate of your fav food or bread)

~ End Of Line ~

🌑 Koron - "Oh... Really? That's embarrassing... Anyways, thanks, I appreciate it." He's quite embarrassed about it, would appreciate it if you didn't mention it to anyone. Regardless, what you did was nice. Next time he sees you struggling with something, Koron will lend a hand.

👥 Jet - "No you didn't. *walks away*" Yeah, this one, tough guy or so he says. He won't outwardly say his thanks, but he'll be giving you a hand next time... disguised as a "It's because you don't know how to do it." He's also prone to forgetting what you did if he doesn't know you well. 50/50 of getting a favor back or not

🖋 Zion - "My bad, haven't slept well, sorry. Is there something I can help with? A chore, homework? ...I'll find out, regardless." This one likes to help people, so they'll immediately ask what to do in return. He likes building machines to aid with daily chores, so you may receive one soon for the chore you most detest doing

🌟 Tzuriel - "Silly me~ Thank you, dearest. Hope those eyes remained where they should've." They're by far one of the least likely to be caught doing that, cares too much about their health and body to be so reckless and sleep somewhere random instead of a proper bed. The last comment is regarding the papers they had with them at the time, or about the last thing showed on his laptop's screen. Also the least likely to return the favor, but if he's feeling particularly kind, probably. You'll get visited by C4ST0R with the test answers or assignment you most needed

💠 Izel - "Yeah... I was there kinda on purpose. Thanks, I guess... How did you even carry me?" Izel does everything with a purpose, or so he says. If he was sleeping outside, it's because he put himself there for a nap. Doesn't take kindly to being woken up or having his napping plans disrupted. Won't return the favor, but may interrupt you nap in return c:

WOULD ANY OF YOUR OCS LIKE TO HELP TEACH RANMARU HOW TO SWIM? :D

He hasn't really had the chance to learn to swim and I feel like it could be an adorable bonding thing abdjdnjdn - he'd be really nervous about deeper water and cling to someone he trusts in case he sinks,,, and expect a gleeful smile and enthusiastic gusto if a splash battle is started, hehe

On that note, a small question about the garden squad/any of your other OCs if your up to it, who is the 'will gradually lead them through how to float and swim while offering support' type of teacher, and who opts for the 'chuck them in the water and let survival figure it out' method lmao

Best teachers for Ranmaru are definitely Koron, Xeron and/or Zion!

They're patient, ive good explanations on what to do (well, Kroron struggles in this a bit), and have no problem leading Ranmaru's way through the water

Zion isn't too physically strong, meaning he probably would lose his footing if Ranmaru clung a bit too hard, so maybe Koron or Xeron are the better go-to teachers. Zi can be the helper, specially on the explanations bit (plus, he gives very nice encouragement!)

Splash battle? That would definitely be Sei's doing! He would someone learning to swim and something in him just ACTIVATES. Next thing you know, there's a thin long tail whipping up from underwater, splashing multiple times Eel will be popping up from the water here, there, over there! Giggles and more splashes coming from him until someone eventually splashes him back

When in the Scalding Sands [Xeron Bhatt x Kiran Strisha

Ehehe, a little silly fic featuring these two beloved OC boys!

Summary: Xeron spends some days vacationing in Kiran's hometown in the Scalding Sands. It is know that the ancient settlers of the Rangeen Jungle (Xeron's hometown) came from this part of the country of hot sands. Thus, Xeron wishes to learn about their history and compare the culture he knows from home with the new one he'll be partaking in for a while.

What better way to begin than with food?

[This boys very much in love, so be ready for my self indulgent fluff between these two... Not really educational, like the summary sets it out to be fjkdgk]

The colorful market buzzed with energy. Multitudes of people passed from stall to stall in search of something that caught their eye, vendors and customers alike spoke loud within the murmur of a thousand voices. In the chaotic, but oh so fun scene, one thing could be clearly detected: the fragrant smell of freshly made food that opened the appetites of anyone walking nearby.

Tiger and fae pushed their way out of the crowd, protective magic casted around the hot plate of homemade goodness they so impatiently waited to taste.

“I’m telling you, Beastly! You never tasted butter chicken like the one from the Scalding Sands!” Kiran chuckled while tugging on Xeron’s hand, leading him away to a more secluded place in which they could sit down and enjoy the delicious meal.

Xeron answered with a faint laugh of his own. “I trust your word. The smell alone had my mouth watering.”

A short break from school, summer vacations in full swing. Bhatt decided to spend some days in Kiran’s hometown after receiving an offer from the beastkin himself, saying he managed to work some time off his duties to show him around the place.

To spend time with someone who brings you immense joy, discover many new things with them, get to know what built them to who they are today…. How could Xeron ever say no to this opportunity?

Finally, they found a quiet place to sit and eat in a less concurred alley.

The magic was casted aside, now it was time to feast!

However, before Xeron could tear a piece of the flatbread to begin preparing his first bite, Kiran slapped his hand away. The redhead stared at the tiger in utter confusion.

“No, no! Let me prepare it for you!” He answered, bright smile showing his sharp canines. “To make your first bite even more special and memorable.”

The fae felt his ears grow warm. “Ah… Thank you.” It was close to unnoticeable, but a small smile graced his lips. Green eyes observed the beastfolk’s movements, mouth salivating at the delightful aroma of the freshly baked roti and warm spices of the chicken dish. It already smelled different from the one he was accustomed to back home.

Suddenly, the food was presented to him. “Open wide~” Sing sang Kiran as he held the bite and his unoccupied hand under it to collect any spillage.

Xeron blushed further, the heat covering all of his face up to the very tips of his pointed ears. Eyebrows twitched in bashfulness, but nonetheless he opened his mouth to please the one he loved.

Kiran carefully placed the food on his Beastly’s tongue. “There we go~” He was careful to remove his fingers before the boy chomped down on his fingers. As he watched Xe chew and savor the chicken, his tail swished in happiness, ticking the fae’s ankles a couple of times.

Xeron’s embarrassment faded away slowly as he finally got to taste the hot food. This time, the smile was much more noticeable developed on his lips. He simply nodded and nodded while looking at Kiran. “Much different. Very tasty.” The fae mumbled as he ate. One hand politely covered his mouth to prevent any chewed food to jump out into the plate.

The tiger straightened up in pride and joy, ears flicking in the cutest way ever and tail swaying again. “You see~! Told ya so!”

Few seconds of silence carried after Kiran’s words while the fae took his time to analyze the flavor.

“There’s no doubt the spirit carried over to the one we cook in the jungle, but it’s faint. Not as creamy or complex, we also use a couple different spices back home.” Xeron gave a more elaborated comment after swallowing. “Our roots definitely come from here, that’s evident.” Glee was clear as day on his face. “I love it, it’s wonderful.” A bubbling of mirth made his voice sound lighter than his usual serious tone.

The triumphant laugh that left Kiran had Xeron’s heart fluttering madly, so he did the only reasonable thing he could: he leaned towards him and placed a kiss on Strisha’s cheek. What greeted the grinning tiger boy afterwards was a tender smile on Xe’s face.

Before Kiran could attempt to return the affection, a piece of butter chicken dipped roti came face to face with him. The redhead snorted lightly at his lover’s adorable head tilt. “My turn now, go on. It may not be your first bite ever, but to cement the memory of the occasion.”

Fluffy ears flattened slightly. “Beastly…” A pleasant chill traveled through Kiran’s spine and an arrow struck his heart. With a tinge of shyness but tons of joy, he opened wide.

Like the tiger did with him, Xeron placed the food on the other’s tongue carefully and observed his reaction as he tasted the precious meal. Happiness, tender nostalgia, love, everything reflected on the beastkin’s visage. “It tastes even better than I remember.” Kiran’s smile turned smug, “I think it’s because you’re here with me~”

Xeron pushed him away gently in playful banter. “Cheesy tiger.”

“Your cheesy tiger.”

That elicited a genuine laugh from Bhatt, and earned Kiran another kiss, this time on the lips. “And I wouldn’t change that for anything.” Hand sneaking into Kiran’s, Xe entwined their fingers to properly hold hands. “Now, let’s continue eating before the food turns cold on us.”

Yet Kiran refused to let go of the fae’s hand. “I feed you, you feed me?” Shining yellow eyes looked expectantly into his lover’s leaf green ones.

Xeron smiled lovingly at the tiger. “Of course, I’d love that.”

Ah, but what a mess it was to tear the bread with one hand~ Well, it’s a bit of fun to sprinkle in this sweet memory of theirs, right? Everything’s fine~

Ehehe~ Hope you enjoyed this short little story!
