Yama-uba.

Well it's I don't really know what this is called in Wikipedia it was yama-uba but in a different website it was yamamba, and where I heard this story for the first time it was called "the luring old woman of the hut in the deep forest" 😅😅 I know its kinda long but ho well... it was from a cartoon show's horror episodes 😅😅

Legend has it that a Buddhist priest was caught out in a storm when he came across a lonely hut.

The woman inside the hut was kind and invited him inside and although she was welcoming she give him a warning to never look in the back room.

When the woman says this it made the priest want to see what the back room holds so much more, as soon as the old woman stepped outside to gather some firewood the priest peeped througha crack in the door to have a look into the back room.

This is when he realized that the back room was filled with half-eaten corpses, and this kind old woman was actually a yama-uba (やまうば) or yamamba .

These creatures are disguised as harmless old woman but they're actually a tariffing yokai (よかい), and these ones like to feast on humans, the priest realized that she had lured him into her home on the hopes of him becoming the next meal, so he run out of There as fast as he could and never looked back.

I actually didn't know how they look like so I got this picture from Wikipedia.

YES when I read fanfiction that involves the reader making their own code name. Mine is Venus 😳

Also not all my fanfics are gonna be gyaru themed. I've just had this thought for weeks. (Its one of those stories I think of before going to bed) Like when some people write about goth readers (love reading those)

"So why do they call you venus?" Soap asks, while sitting next to you. You blink at him owlishly.

"OH YOU DONT KNOW" You suddenly shout, grabbing his shoulders. He flinched back.

"Don't know what?"

"When im not here at base, I look a lil different" You explained. Gaz looks at you from across the room.

"A lil is an understatement. Mate you're quite scary looking" He said, chuckling.

"Scarier then ghost?" You teased. Gaz laughs as he pulls out his phone, pulling up a picture.

"This was us last year at their birthday party" He says, shoving his phone in soaps face.

"Jesus christ. That's you?!" He says, grabbing the phone.

"Yeah, they said my eyelashes look like a carnivorous plant. Aka a venus flytrap." You said, rolling your hand around in a 'duh' manner. Soap keeps shifting his eyes at the picture and then at you.

"That looks nothing like you"

"Im a master at what I do. What can I say"
