Ok but imagine the caliber of babying Joanna!Lookalike would receive if she somehow survived her poisoning. They’d treat her as if she was infinitely more delicate than glass. She wouldn’t even walk anywhere anymore, Gregor would carry her everywhere
If Joanna!Lookalike!Reader were to somehow, by the gods, survive the Strangler than she would be seen as an absolute miracle. I can’t help but imagine Joanna!Lookalike just walking off the effects of the poison. Like, she’s collapsed on the ground coughing up four lungs worth, there’s blood, tears and saliva all mixed together and after a bit she just gets herself back up, dusts herself off and continues on like she didn’t just have a near death experience. Everyone would be both shocked, terrified and utterly relieved all at the same time.
Babying would be a complete understatement, House Lannister (along with some others) would become even more completely overprotective and obsessive than they already were. Their darling Joanna!Lookalike was nearly ripped away from them, they weren’t going to leave any room for that to ever happen again. Tywin would immediately cut down on the contact that his grandchild had with anyone else, mainly outside of him. Honestly, Tywin can’t even bring himself to trust Cersei with Joanna!Lookalike after this. He knows Cersei didn’t poison her, after all she had been utterly destroyed by the mere prospect of losing her beloved child, but he wasn’t going to take any chances. Her visits and interactions with Joanna!Lookalike would be even more heavily supervised then before.
Hell, Tywin would assign Gregor to be stationed directly by Joanna!Lookalike’s side from then on out. Instead of simply being in the same room as Joanna!Lookalike to protect her, Gregor would now literally by breathing down her neck 25/8. He use to only stand guard outside his princess’ bedchambers, now he would be sat next her bed as she slept just to further ensure her safety. Hell, he Reader wouldn’t even be allowed to bathe without Gregor right there to oversee it, especially when it was the female servants who were set to wash her themselves. Eventually, even that would be put a stop to but Gregor would still be right there (even if his back is tuned way) to ensure his princess was safe in her most vulnerable of moments. And it
Cersei would be so incredibly clingy, suffocatingly so. Understandably she was so close to losing her most precious child, of course she would be wanting to be damn near attached to the hip with her bby. She would take to sleeping next to Joanna!Lookalike, clutching her child close to her, almost bruisingly tight. And much to her absolute dismay and annoyance the Mountain would be right there each and every time Cersei tried to have some much needed time with her bby. Also, Cersei would still very much blame Tyrion for being the one who tried to kill her darling bby, but Joanna!Lookalike wouldn’t let her mother or grandfather accuse him of such a thing. Even after going through what she had, Joanna!Lookalike!Reader would vehemently defend her uncle to no end.

Could you rank the GOT yanderes on a scale of 1-7 based on how they treat Modern!Reader, 1 being beneath the yan, 4 being like an equal, and 7 being above the yan?
Hmm... It's a complicated question since there are several characters, but I'll list a few specifically. If you want others, just send them!
Cersei Lannister: 7 because we're talking about her. She's a scary yandere. Cersei is very possessive and controlling and if Modern!Reader doesn't do what she wants, it could end in disaster for them.
Daenerys Targaryen: 6. She's not as scary as Cersei, but she's not calm either. I think it depends on the stage at which you find her. If it's before her arrival in Westeros, then it would be a 5 but if it's after, a 6 almost a 7. Just be careful with her temper.
Jon Snow: 3. Jon is a soft yandere and you can't change my mind. He is very easygoing and due to his low self-esteem, he would never want to inflict harm on Modern!Reader. He cares a lot and one of the only overwhelming feelings he has is overprotection.
Joffrey Baratheon: 7. This one doesn't even need explanations. Joffrey is a sadist by nature and although he may adore Modern!Reader, I still see him wanting to hurt them as a way of breaking their affection. Besides being possessive.
Tywin Lannister: 6. Tywin is complicated, although he can be a dangerous yandere, he wouldn't be for Modern!Reader but for others. He would never hurt them, he cares about them too much for that. Tywin can punish them, but it would never be physically.
Tyrion Lannister: 4. Tyrion is very calm about his obsession and would hardly do anything against Modern!Reader. He likes them and sees them as a kind of friend and confidant. Tyrion is not demanding or overprotective, but he tends to protect Modern!Reader from several things, one of them being Joffrey.
Jaime Lannister: 5. Jaime is very calm too, he's not exactly possessive but he likes having Modern!Reader's attention on him. He likes to impress them and is protective. Jaime would never do anything to hurt them and often joins his brother in protecting them.
Margaery Tyrell: 6. Margaery is extremely manipulative and because of this, she sees no reason to try to hurt Modern!Reader because she knows she will have your attention. She is possessive too, wanting them for herself, but she is not demanding. She takes whatever she can.
Jorah Mormont: 5. Jorah is a worshipful and desperate yandere. He wants to be loved by his darling above all else and he will be willing to do whatever it takes to get that. Mormont would never hurt his darling, but he can become aggressive when provoked.
Sansa Stark: 4. Sansa poses no danger to her darling, but can pose a threat to others depending on the situation. She is not possessive but can get irritated if she doesn't have her attention.
Arya Stark: 6. Arya is very intelligent and has violent tendencies and although she will never hurt Modern!Reader, she is not against the idea of keeping them to herself. She just wants to protect and take care of them and in her own way.
Sandor Clegane: 5. Sandor is not the demanding or really possessive type of Modern!Reader, he spends as much time as he can with them and accepts anything. The biggest danger is how protective Sandor is over them, having no qualms about killing anyone who looks the other way at Modern!Reader.
Gregor Clegane: 7. Gregor is violent, aggressive and very possessive of Modern!Reader. He will beat anyone to death just for breathing the same air as you. Gregor could also be willing to inflict pain on you and will feel good about it.
Khal Drogo: 7. No explanation per se, Drogo is violent by nature and extremely possessive. While he's not going to inflict pain on Modern!Reader, Drogo can be a very scary yandere.
Viserys III Targaryen: 7. Viserys is out of control and easily irritated, making him willing to hurt Modern!Reader if he deems it necessary. In addition to being possessive and petty.

OMG Sandor/ Gregor Clegane yandere thoughts or headcannons if you do that?
Oh my...
I don't do it normally
But i can make exceptions, and this is one of them.
¿?
Sandor is...complicated, if i would say so.
He acts like this hateful man who loves killing and all with everyone but you.
With you, he just freezes, not knowing what to do exactly, he doesn't want to be cold or hateful to you but he also can't be soft...
Congratulations, you have put this man on a rollercoaster
So for the time being, he will be your protector...without your knowledge of it, so expect to be surprised whenever someone that was insulting you a hour ago is found dead in the yard 🙃
In case, you do try to talk to him, with time, he will open up to you, not of his feelings though, it's mostly him being nicer to you. But you still won't know who is killing people who treat you badly 👀
If there's any chance of him taking you away, it would be back at the Battle of the Blackwater, instead of going to Sansa, he goes to you and don't think that you would have much of a choice.
Not that he would immediately take you, he would try to convince you...but he is not that good at convincing others and he lacks the patience.
So he...knocks you out (He feels very guilty over it tho-) and takes you away with him.
So...as a yandere, his primary characteristics would be Possessive and Protective, and that is very scary if you are defiant on this. He wouldn't hurt you right away (unless you push his buttons) but he would make sure that you are staying where he needs you to be, so he knows you are safe from others.
So...if you think he is bad...then my baby, you are not ready for his brother
Gregor is that one motherfucker that everyone should stay away from...that of course, until he sees you.
And if he wants something, he is going to get it. Like immediately.
He is not shy about what he wants, he won't freeze like his brother, he is going to take you and you have to accept it, unless you want to be in a...depressing state.
Possessive and Selfish and every fucking bad thing about a yandere, that is Gregor (Little shit-)
My best advice? Be on his good side, don't defy him, do as he wishes for the time being, and you will be saving yourself from a bunch of broken bones. Wait until he is vulnerable enough to slice a knife on his throat. 💖
It will be way worse if you are close to Sandor, because Gregor likes to torment his brother. Even more if both are yandere for you.
Holy shit, what have i done?-
¿?
So yeah...i gave you guys the idea
What will you do now?

i hope this is ok- in response to the yandere clegane brothers, omfg. it’d happen after the hand’s tournament, they both see reader simultaneously and decide they’re his. gregor doesnt have the patience to ask for their hand, he’ll simply take them and kill anyone who tries to stop him
but sandor had the same idea, especially when he sees his brother leering at reader the way he has been all night. the only difference is he considers telling reader to run home (wherever that may be) but he wouldn’t be able to protect them if that were the case
basically gregors need stems from “i’ll kidnap them bc they’re mine” while sandor’s is “i’ll kidnap them bc i can keep them safe”
it’d boil down to which clegane is faster in putting their plan in action, sorry i rlly liked this idea 😮‍💨
YES. omg same I love the Clegane Brothers

How would Gregor (the mountain) react to Joanna!lookalike passing? Again I would imagine not well.
He would become even more of a monster after the Reader’s death. Joanna!Lookalike was something completely and utterly special to him and now that she was gone, Gregor felt absolutely nothing even more than usual for anyone or anything in his wake. Similar to Cersei and Tywin, Gregor would put all his blame and rage towards Tyrion for taking away the only thing he could ever bring himself to have care for. As much as he would take great pleasure in visiting Tyrion in his cell and rip him apart piece by little piece and getting the dwarf’s punishment over with already, Gregor would refrain from doing so on Tywin’s orders, it takes everything in him to do so. But that wouldn’t keep Gregor from routinely standing outside Tyrion’s cell and just watching him. Staring him down, emitting the most intense and murderous aura from his unmoving stature as he does so.
Gregor had been the one who had carried Joanna!Lookalike’s body away after she died. Cersei had to be held back by her own father and various Kingsguards just so Gregor could get to his poor late princess. As much of a terrible monster Gregor already was, being left to witness the gruesome demise of the only thing he held dear to him and caring her lifeless body in his arms after not being able to protect her only fucked him up more. If it were anyone else he wouldn’t have batted an eye at it but Joanna!Lookalike!Reader wasn’t just anyone. When not behind closed doors, Gregor would be even more of a menace than normal. He would lash out without reason and at anyone who was within proximity of him. He didn’t care who or what crossed his path, either way it wouldn’t survive him one way or another. He would massacre and destroy just about anyone and anything. The only one’s somewhat safe from his wrath were Tywin, Cersei and the children. Even that wasn’t saying very much. On a few occasions, Gregor had been on the verge of disobeying or flat out not taking Tywin’s orders, even going as far as to not backdown when confronted about his insubordination. When he was carrying out orders, Gregor took them even further than he already use to.
When Tyrion demands a trial by combat, Gregor already knows he’s going to be the one to destroy whoever foolishly chooses to be the imp’s champion. He has every intention of ensuring Tyrion’s punishment for taking away his only precious thing in this world and he will happily cut down and tear through whoever he had to to see it happen. He knew nothing could ever bring his beloved princess back, he knew the only thing he ever cared about was gone forever but that self awareness did nothing to quell his deep seeded rage. He had absolutely nothing to lose or hold him back now and that was made everyone else’s problem more than ever.

Okay, so I watched grayscale removal and I couldn’t imagine how much it hurts. Since Joanna!Reader had grayscale, what if it was removed? I imagine it would hurt Reader so much but it’s the only way to save her. I imagine that her screams are heard in the castle and it takes everything to Lannisters not to bust in her chambers and stop this process, because they can’t bear Joanna!Reader’s screams.
Cersei, Tywin, Jaime, Tyrion and the Mountain would without a doubt be in the room with Joanna!lookalike!Reader while she’s being treated. Cersei would be clutching onto her child’s hand for comfort, not only for her child’s comfort and reassurance but also for her own. Tywin would be overseeing the entire process. Jaime and Tyrion would be there for moral support, trying to ease the situation but not being of any real help. Tyrion would of course get on Cersei’s nerves trying to joke away the importance and critical-ness of what’s taking place and just being their in general. The Mountain would be looming over and staring into the soul of the maester treating the Reader throughout the entire ordeal.
Also, I don’t mention it enough but Joanna!lookalike would also totally have her lion companion with her too. And that lion is all eyes on the maester, one wrong move and it’s lights out for him.
I can see Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen being outside their sibling’s room while this all takes place, them having been not allowed to be inside to witness what’s to come for their own protection. But the moment the Reader starts screaming they’ll burst through the door out of worry and anguish for their beloved sibling. Sandor is probably the one guarding the door or at the very least he’s in attendance because of Joffrey and he ends up being the one to wrangle up the kids to take back outside. Not to mention Tyrion’s probably also been kicked out by Cersei or Tywin at Theo point so now he’s trying to console and comfort Myrcella and Tommen.
Maybe even Sansa and Margaery are there too, waiting outside with the others and worrying about Joanna!lookalike too. Once the screaming starts they’re even more worried and can only think of the worse. Sandor probably has to wrangle them up too when the others burst in to see what’s happening. (I can’t help but imagine Sandor being forced to corral and carry five people in his arms all at once, like holding a bunch of cats. Hell, they’re probably scratching and biting him like cats to let them all go and be with their poor Reader.)
The pain that the Reader is so obviously feeling and going through would be immense. It would take everything in all of the family members to not put a stop to the removal right then and there. It would be so much worse for Cersei if she couldn’t touch her child until after the fact. How desperate she would be to just want to caress her child’s head, smoothing their hair and kissing them. Even to just hold their hand or at the very least link pinkies with them to give some kind of reassurance to both of them. Either way, if Cersei couldn’t touch her child in this harrowing moment it would be much harder for her to allow the entire thing to continue. Tywin may even have Jaime take Cersei out of the room if that were the case. And you know damn well Cersei won’t be leaving without a fight. Hell, Gregor may even have to be the one to remove her from the situation.
In the long run it would all be worth it to not only save their beloved Joanna!lookalike but also to give them the ability to go about their life outside of the confines of their room. But in the moment it would take a lot out of everyone to not step in, especially when the Reader starts screaming in agony.

I bet that tywin will be mad if he found out that Cersei try to give poison to Joanna Lookalike reader when the fight at blackwater is going on.
If he ever got wind of what Cersei was willing to do, what she had been oh so close to committing, Tywin would never be able to trust her with Joanna!lookalike!Reader ever again. He’d want to immediately take action; separating Joanna!lookalike!Reader from Cersei and keeping his grandchild close to him where he knows they’d be safe at Casterly Rock. But he wouldn’t let Cersei know the reason why at first. He’d do so discreetly explaining it away as just another typical visit to Grandpa’s. Only after he has Joanna!llokalike!Reader safe and sound in his care will he tell Cersei that she will never see her child again.
I could also see Tywin biding his time with taking his grandchild away from Cersei, he would want to be thorough in how he would go about the situation. But he would for sure have Gregor protect Joanna!lookalike!Reader from their mother too. Hell, he’d probably go ahead and just have Tyrion and even Jaime added to the list of no one allowed within any proximity of his grandchild. Tywin’s trust towards his own children would definitely be brought into question.
Even if Cersei were to give her reason for why she was going to purposely give her beloved child Nightshade, Tywin would still never be able to bring himself to trust her alone with Joanna!lookalike!Reader again afterward. Cersei may be able to weasel her way into getting her child back with her after some time but Gregor would be right there all the time from then on out, overseeing every entire interaction. And Cersei would only be allowed to be at a specific distance when in the company of her own child. Whenever she inches just a little too close, Gregor will step in making the boundary line very clear. It doesn’t matter if Joanna!lookalike!Reader tries to assure Gregor that Cersei can be as close as she wants, he won’t let it happen. He can’t. Besides, he’s got his own grievances towards Cersei for what she was going to do to Joanna!lookalike!Reader.
And of course throughout this whole ordeal, Cersei is irate that her own father is trying to keep her beloved child away from her. She was only doing what she thought was the best thing for her child after all. Isn’t that what any good mother would do? She would much rather have her child die a gentle and painless death than what they could have suffered at the hands of their enemy.

What if Joanna lookalike reader have a breakdown or cry hysterically because the mountain killing people in front of her she plead with her mom and grandfather to change her guard?
If the Mountain’s actions cause that much distress for Joanna!lookalike!Reader, so much so that they’re breaking down and pleading to Cersei and or Tywin to switch him out with someone else, than yes they would.
I see Joanna!lookalike!Reader running to Cersei first and just falling apart in her arms, sobbing and recounting the horrors they just witnessed. Joanna!lookalike!Reader can excuse his actions as long as it was towards someone who deserved it but when it’s innocent people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time then they can’t let that slide. Cersei seeing her child in complete distress would pull at her heart and her immediate reaction is to put a stop to what is causing the emotional and mental harm to her darling. She’ll be the one to go to Tywin and request or rather demand a replacement for Gregor.
As upset as Tywin would be with hearing about how affected Joanna!lookalike!Reader is he still stands by that Gregor is the best protection for them. But if Cersei pleads hard enough, even getting Jaime in on it especially if he’s witnessed or has had Joanna!lookalike!Reader come to him about the situation as well, then Tywin might agree to not have Gregor be their immediate guard. Instead opting to have him keep his distance from Joanna!lookalike!Reader but still be around to take action if need be.
Now, this doesn’t mean Tywin completely lets Gregor off the hook. No, there will be reprimanding and he will ensure that Gregor understands what he’s done to Joanna!lookalike!Reader and the toll it’s all taken on them. But Tywin would also advise Gregor on what to do to not make it happen again, for both Joanna!lookalike!Reader’s sake as well as for Tywin to keep Gregor by her side knowing he can trust him with her protection better than anyone. Maybe even better than Jaime?

Can Joanna lookalike reader ask Uncle jaime changed to be her guard?
Definitely! Especially if Cersei and Tyrion, even Jaime himself, are to push for him as Gregor’s replacement. And it is a good idea. Jaime is a formidable fighter and he would do absolutely everything in his power to ensure Joanna!lookalike!Reader’s safety over anything else. But Tywin would still want Gregor around. He holds a great amount of trust in his son and his fighting capabilities but he’s not going to put Joanna!lookalike!Reader’s life all into his hands. What if Jaime is too caught up in fighting that someone or something gets past him and still ends up hurting or even killing Joanna!lookalike!Reader? Tywin can’t have that. He won’t leave any chance for anyone or anything to take away his precious grandchild.

Hey given that the mountain is the sworn protector of Joanna lookalike reader, I can only imagine he’d eventually end up a little tan for them too… being around them growing up and being a ray of sunshine. I just have this image of the mountain having a flower crown placed in his head by little reader to avoid upsetting her. If anyone else mentions it they’ll die.
Definitely! Imagine the big ass man that the The Mountain is sitting on a tiny makeshift chair at a tiny makeshift table having pretend tea with toddler!Joanna!lookalike!Reader and a bunch of dolls/stuffed animals.
Yan!Uncle!Jaime Lannister, opening the door to Joanna!lookalike!Reader’s room to check on them: How’s my lovely and beautiful Princess doing?~~
*Yan!Gregor Clegane, sitting with a flower crown on his head delicately holding an itty bitty tea cup in his huge ass hand while toddler!Joanna!lookalike!Reader fills it with more pretend tea*
Yan!Uncle!Jaime Lannister: 😶 carry on *slowly shuts the door* *proceeds to run to Cersei, telling her what the fuck he just witnessed*

I'd looooove to see the mountain's reaction to Joanna!lookalike!reader getting poisoned instead of joffrey
He would go on a rampage. This man had sworn his everything to Joanna!lookalike!Reader and to watch them die before his very eyes would destroy whatever little humanity he mustered for just them and only them. Knowing he can’t save them or who exactly it was who poisoned them, Gregor wouldn’t stop taking out his rage on anyone and everyone he could get his hands on.
Of course Gregor has committed many upon many of deplorable and unimaginable acts, but to see someone he not only grew to care for but who also in his eyes never deserved such a horrific fate would push him to only becoming even more cruel and unhinged. As odd as it is to say when regarding Gregor Clegane, Joanna!lookalike!Reader became something very important that he’ll never come to experience again and for that he has nothing but violence and bloodshed left to him. He’ll only be all the more easy to set off and there isn’t anything or anyone who could stop him now. There’s no longer someone to save the poor souls who cross his path now.

Kay so what if after spending so much time guarding Johanna!Reader, The mountain also becomes yan??? What a MESS now he’s just not crushing pest who hover around them with ill intentions but also anyone who so much as glances at them too long for his liking. He’s the one that’s been by their side protecting them, fighting for them, it’s almost like they’re his anyway. So what if he’s been stomping out too many Lannister knights, knights who switch shifts with him in guarding Johanna!Reader, who have the potential to replace him as their permanent guard, he’s just defending a place that rightfully belongs to him and him alone.
I could see Gregor becoming attached to Joanna!lookalike!Reader. He’s probably been in their life for quite awhile, he’s grown fond of them and their company so much so that he feels off without being around them. Things just don’t feel right for him anymore when he’s not the one guarding the Reader. Not to mention he’s grown so accustomed to their voice that the world becomes so much louder when he’s not with them to drown the sound out.
I do agree that given his role as the Reader’s guard/ultimate protector and how detrimental his place in their day to day life is, Gregor would feel some kind of entitlement to them. If it weren’t for him after all then they could’ve ended up dead long ago. He’s the one doing the most for them out of everyone in their life. Sure, their grandfather is the reason he became their guard to begin with but that’s it. Gregor is the one with them day in and day out, even if he isn’t necessarily supposed to be or his shift has already ended.
Gregor wouldn’t trust anyone else to guard and protect Joanna!lookalike!Reader. He’s the only one fit for the task and anyone else who thinks different wouldn’t live long enough to disagree.
I have this image in my head of Joanna!lookalike!Reader and The Mountain walking the halls of the Red Keep and someone bumping into the Reader or trying to talk to them. Or maybe the poor soul just looked at them for just a little too long. It doesn’t really matter cause either way the person ends up dead before the Reader knows it. Covered in their blood and still processing what just happened, Joanna!lookalike!Reader feels a heavy weight on their cheek and it’s The Mountain mustering as much gentleness as he can trying to wipe off the blood from their face with his big ass meat glove of a hand.
Even if Cersei and Tywin were to have some worry or apprehension for The Mountain’s intensity in regards to Joanna!lookalike!Reader they wouldn’t try to get rid of him. Sure, it’s alarming and sometimes anxiety inducing seeing or hearing how he’s been lately when the Reader is involved but as long as he’s not a threat to Joanna!lookalike!Reader then it’s alright. Gregor is just doing his deed as a guard and protector. No matter how much Jaime, Tyrion and even Myrcella and Tommen bring up their worries or fear of The Mountain, especially regarding how attached he’s become to the Reader, Cersei and Tywin wouldn’t do anything about it. Now, if he were to stand in the way of them seeing and interacting with the Reader then there would be a real issue.

Joanna!reader probably put bows on the mountain and dressed him up since he’s probably around her 24/7 especially if he was around when they were a child.
Imagine Joanna!lookalike!Reader dressing up and putting bows and flower crowns on both The Mountain and The Hound??? Both Sandor and Gregor fighting the urge to rip each other apart in front of the Reader, ruining their day and scarring them for the rest of their life.
