Yandere Hare and Bunny Hybrids (1)

For creatures with such similar appearances, they couldn’t be more different 

When you first went to the shelter that housed poor hybrids you found the two wrongfully grouped as bunny hybrids 

Rather than separated from one another as bunny and hare respectfully

Though your future hare hybrid couldn’t look more bothered

Your future bunny paid no attention lovingly squishing into the hare’s side 

“And here we have our bunny hybrids! Aren’t they cute cuddling each other?”

“The um bigger one doesn’t look too happy to be there…”

“Don’t mind him, he can be a little grumpy! That's all!”

When you finally got to meet them their acceptance of you was widely different

Where the bunny hybrid practically launched himself into your arms

The hare only plopped next to you, ignoring you when you finally freed an arm to hold him too

“Oh my gouda!” 

“W-what?”

“That’s the closest he’s stood next to anyone in that form! This must be a miracle!”

You didn’t mind taking two, you’d make it work

Especially with the discount they were offering you with an oddly worded contract

“By signing this you agree to take both of the store’s bunnies for over 10 days despite incident, injury, or suspicious decline in health?”

“Oh just filibuster! Just go ahead and sign right here, yup. Quickly please.”

When you finally have them both home, they’ll settle into their routines, more than happy to finally make themselves at home

Your hare hybrid - Jared was pleased to have a room to himself 

Finally allowed to embrace the solitude that comes naturally to a hare

“This is sick. Thanks short-stack.”

“Uh, you're welcome.”

Your bunny hybrid–Cryst on the other hand is appalled 

Falling to his knees he’s full-blown crying because he’s all alone in his room

“Nooooo! Do you want me to die all alone!? Stay with me, Master please!”

“Okay okay you can stay with me, just don’t call me Master. Hey! And please stop pulling on my shirt!”

This fear of loneliness never stops 

Cryst cries when you tell him the concept of a job 

He cries even harder when you tell him you have one

Jared on the other hand is relaxed he knows you’ll come back you better

Until then he’ll try to keep Cryst calm

After all, he doesn’t need the bunny ruining his stay with you not after all those other times

Granted he’s never agreed with Cryst’s choices until now 

And he’s more than used to cleaning up after him at this point

Bloody or otherwise

But that shouldn’t need to happen as long as you stay focused on them

It hadn't even been that big of a deal. Well, at least to you.

To your boyfriend, however, it was.

Always, Yunho had done his best to tread carefully in your relationship. He wanted you to see him as nothing but a sweet, cuddly bear, rather than the vicious, territorial beasts his kind could be known for. He could never let you see the ferocious, jealous monster that lurked beneath the surface.

Until he did.

The two of you were out for an evening stroll around the pier, his arm wrapped casually around your waist. You were having a grand time, laughing and chatting just as he always fantasized about.

To know that he could finally hold you in his arms, especially after all of his careful and meticulous planning he put into making you fall for him, made him happy beyond believe. The only thing that made his mood even better was seeing you happy. Knowing he's the cause of it each and every time only solidified everything he's always already known.

The two of you were destined to be together. Forever and always.

Little things throughout the evening kept grating at his patience.

First, it was the way those stupid tiger hybrids kept 'accidentally' brushing into you during that street performance. Despite Yunho pulling you closer into his side, they still fucking persisted. No amount of apologies could hide the way his eyes flashed at them as you both walked away.

Then, it was the way he noticed your eyes trail after that damn snake man. The memory of one of the first times he heard you joking with your friends about different kinds of hybrids you wouldn't mind experiencing if given the chance flashed through his mind right then and there. He knows you no longer think about what those tongues can do, not after you've felt what his can do to you. Yet still, he couldn't help but be irritated by that look of wonder that crossed your features.

You teased him about it, noticing how stiff he suddenly became both times. Of course, you reassured him that you'd never want anyone over him, but he couldn't help that little voice that kept telling him that he needed to prove it. Maybe not to you, but to everyone else.

Which is why when he saw that damn arctic hare hitting on you, he snapped.

After what feels like an eternity, the screams from the remaining victims on the pier stop. There weren't very many still around at this time of night, but the sickening crunch of bones snapping can never be erased from your mind.

Your entire body shakes, hands desperately covering your ears as you curl yourself between the railing and lamppost. Small whimpers of fear escape you, eyes squeezed shut at the traumatic scene that you witnessed only moments before.

Heavy footsteps walking in your direction have a panicked sob tearing from your throat.

You fall back onto your ass, backing up as far as you can go. After all, what can a mere human do against a bear?

You really wish your body would obey your commands, but your adrenaline kicks in and has your eyes opening to assess the threat approaching you.

The sight of Yunho, his normally bright, soft fur now dripping with blood has a shriek of terror escaping your throat.

"Don't come any closer!" You raise your hands in front of you as some form of defence against him. Defence which you know is futile. He's just proved it so, with how easily he tore apart all those unsuspecting bystanders. "Stay away from me!"

Instantly, he freezes. A look akin to a wounded animal crosses his features, and he immediately shifts back into his human form.

You don't know whether the sight of his human form covered in blood makes it any better or worse, but you still cannot prevent the way your whole body shakes as he gets even closer. The feeling of his arms wrapping around your torso, pulling you into his chest as he shushes you only has your heart thundering in your chest, more sobs wracking your body.

"It's alright, My Snowflake," he coos, gently stroking his hand over your head in hopes to calm you down. "I've got you. Nothing can hurt you now. I won't let anything come between us again."

Part 1 

“Okay bye guys. Jared, I’m trusted you with the home!”

“You got it, babe. Bring home some bark if you have the time.”

“Sure!”

*Muffled* “Noooo! Waaaiiiittt (Yyyy/nnnn) please! I promise I won’t put thumbtacks in your shoes.. anymore! I’m sorrryyy!!! Please!--”

The sound of the door slamming shut starts Chryst on a whole new set of tears

Jared looks at the watch he has and knows he’s got a good three hours before he can even think about taking the padlock off Chryst’s door

So he indulges in his favorite activity in the meantime

Running on the treadmill next to his favorite picture of you running

If he’s feeling especially proud he’ll go for a run and stop by his favorite smoothie place

That has a perfect view of your work place+

“Now that’s a view.”

He hates how often he gets approached 

he has to remind you next time to get him a ring 

only for appearances of course

When he returns home first thing he does is stick his tall ears against the bedroom door before unlocking it

Immediately darting into his chest, Chryst hugs him tightly just happy to not be alone

Then he darts into your room to ruin your bed to aggressively inhale your scent

And your closet

And your laundry

When he’s done with that he’ll go find Jared again this time to plan on his next scheme to keep you from leaving for work the next day

Jared doesn’t say anything, he just finishes what’s left of his smoothie warning him when he gets too intense

“Maybe before they take their lunch I could put something special in there!”

“Okay.”

“Maybe something that makes them all sleepy and cuddly again!” 

“Sure.”

“And for extra–good measure, I’ll cut the brake lines in their car!”

“Okay. That’s too far.” 

But if he’s already thought up a good plan he’ll move on to other things

“Have you ever noticed our neighbor is around (Y/n)’s age?”

“Yeah so?”

“I…don’t want them to exist anymore.”

“Me neither. But we’ll be first suspects so no go.”

“Would that still be the case if we cut his brakes?”

“Good.”

They hold down the fort waiting for the minute you come home

“Hey guys I’m home–Ooof!”

“Oh (Y/n)!!!! I missed you so much!” 

He buries his head into your chest so hard the first time it feels like he’s trying to suffocate you

Jason on the other hand will stand a ways away pouting and tapping his feet until you give him his scheduled pat and boop on the nose

“Hey to you too, casanova!”

“Hmph remembering me are you? Good for you.”

“Not just that I got you that bark you wanted.”

“...Thanks.” “(Y/n) hurry up take off your work clothes they smell like a gaggle of predators!”

Part 2

Once you’ve returned and washed the smell of the ‘outside’ off of you

Better make way for theirs

Chryst is taking over immediately smothering you with his scent 

Jared will eventually intercede only to do the same thing but the thing is he’ll let you move around

His bunny counterpart takes it quite personally when you don’t immediately drop everything to cuddle him

“Don’t you want to smell like me? To be held by me?”

“Chryssy, I need to go to the bathroom first.”

“Without me?”

Again Jared doesn’t need to hog you directly, especially when it comes to scenting

He’s already made sure he’s done it with the entire home

“Do you want to cuddle too Jared?”

“Nah it’s fine.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“So you don’t want to cuddle? Not even a little bit?”

“....Fine. But only because you’re giving me those eyes.”

The good thing about your hybrids is that when you're around they wouldn’t want to be anywhere else

So you don’t have to worry about them kicking, curbstomping, pestering your neighbors

Or getting into concerning shenanigans

“So what’d you guys do today?”

“Nothin’ ” “Only waiting for you my bun!”

“Right. Well, miss Najimi called and said you were burying something in the yard.”

“That wench!” “It was Chryst burrowing again. I convinced him to close it up so that you wouldn’t fall in it.”

“Oh okay! She sounded so frazzled, I would have thought you were burying a body or something.”

“Yeah, we’ll have to apologize later...for spooking her.”

When you’re home you can trust that neither of them is especially eager to part with you

But if it’s going to be anyone it’d be Jared

Unless Chryst is trying out his latest plan

Otherwise, Chryst will be on your back…literally

“Chryst I didn’t say I’d mind doing piggyback rides but I’d prefer you keep your hands on my shoulders.”

“You don’t like where my hands are now?”

“Not really…can you at least stop squeezing my chest, please.”

“Haha no.”

Jared is so well-behaved you’ll trust him to organize dinner
