Soundless FV Release + Donation Drive
Soundless Final Verse has at last released, and is available now on itch.io (link to Soundless Itch page)!
In tandem with the release, we will also be running a week-long donation drive in the wake of Hurricane Fiona and Super Typhoon Noru, and have thus reopened donations on downloads.
Please read through this post for more information about the donation drive, unlocking Adiaphoron, and other important information about the release.
Donation Drive
When Soundless was first released 5 years ago, Hurricane Maria became the deadliest Atlantic hurricane of the 21st century. A donation drive was organized for Soundless's release, and $81 total was donated to a charity's relief fund.
We're doing it again.
We have achieved EVERY MILESTONE instantly (free icon, banner, wallpaper, and reaction stickers) for a whopping $176 and for taxing purposes had to close the Itch donation method, but are STILL COUNTING DONATIONS that are DIRECTLY donated to the organizations and reported using the methods linked in this blog post!
The drive ends a week from now on October 13th. After calculating the tax, itch.io will release the funds within a week, give or take, and then it will be split and sent.
Unlocking Adiaphoron
When you first open Soundless Final Verse, you will be greeted with a dialog box that asks if you've read Soundless or not.
If you have, please hit yes in order to unlock the new After-info. After reading the new afterwords and exiting the After-info screen, you will unlock Adiaphoron.
If you haven't read Soundless, Adiaphoron will unlock after you've completed the story and gone through the other post-game content.
Story Changes
For those who have previously read Soundless, a single important change was made to the story to expand on the dimensions of a certain hidden room. Adiaphoron will reiterate them, so rereading the main story is not necessary.
Saves
As Final Verse is a completely new version of Soundless, saves from older versions of Soundless are not carried over.
32-bit Support
As was previously mentioned, Final Verse runs on the latest major version of Ren'Py. While we are now offering a 32-bit version from the previous major version of Ren'Py for those who still require them, please note that these 32-bit versions have not been tested and may have strange side-effects or bugs.
Known Issues
Due to current engine limitations, self-voicing cannot be used in tandem with auto forward mode. Once this is properly implemented in Ren'Py, we will provide a build that allows for this.
The rollback or history hotkey option only applies to the keyboard and mouse.
Russian Patch
We have archived the previous version of Soundless for those who still need the Russian fanpatch: Link to archives page.
Art Update Patch
The art update patch has been greenlit and will be available in early 2023.
This patch will feature the ability to switch between the old art and brand new remade art.
Android Port
Due to how Soundless is presented, the Android port must be specialized for mobile phones. The Android port will release in tandem with the art update patch.
Artbook Schedule
Production of the artbook will immediately follow the completion of Three Lilies and Their Ghost Stories. The artbook will be ideally released by the end of this year.

hiiiii is ur name hellhoundlair because the hell hound lair is where are the puppies are at?
REAL TALK i originally chose the url hellhoundlair bc i wanted to have my blogs desktop theme to be a recreation of the website hellhoundslair.com from 1x17 hell house. the url hellhoundslair with the s was already taken by a now inactive user, but i actually like hellhoundlair better anyway.
im putting the rest under the cut because this post got long, but there are a few assets i made under the cut that are free to use for yourself if youre planning on making your own canon replica blog!
i spent ages trying to put together that website banner. i cant find the gif version i made that had text glow like how it looks in the show, but i also spent ages trying to hunt down that font. the things i do for a supernatural blog. i never got up to attempting to do that glitchy lens flare effect.
i did this and attempted to customize a theme enough to kind of resemble the original website but i ended up scrapping the theme because it was ugly. who knows though, maybe ill try to hellhoundslair.com-ify my blog theme again because its a really fun idea and id like to do it in a way thats maybe a little less faithful to the show but maybe a little more aesthetically pleasing!
(fun fact! the hellhoundslair website was once real! nowadays it redirects to the cw website but it used to host like 12 scary ghost stories. it was pretty shit. it also looked nothing like it did on the show. you can still visit it on the wayback machine)
i also tried to make my tumblr theme resemble sams laptop desktop from ye olde interractive supernatural point and click type website but it was also really ugly and not well done lol, but heres some assets i made for that!

the original website these assets are made after doesnt exist anymore and cant be accessed via the wayback machine either, probably because it was 100% consisted of flash player shit (rip) but i adore how it looks (i especially love the interior shot of baby, which looks nothing like a 67 chevy impala) and would also love to see it be remade!
#i know this answer has absolutely nothing to do with ur question but it reminded me of working on that banner over multiple days in 2021#and the pain trying to recreate the website as someone who cant code caused me#i do think a hellhoundlair would contain lots of puppies tho#i like having a url thats almost kinda canon but i wouldnt have chosen it in the first place if it didnt draw me in (the puppies drew me in

1. why did you choose your url?
i wanted something sangyeon related so i saved a few urls and ended up choosing the one i liked best, which meant i had to drop the def i had in it for two years haha 🙃

oh, i've tried but it's just not something i can be consistent with. i enjoy having a mix of everything i like in here, even though this is first and foremost a kpop blog. i just don't like to limit myself or feel like i have log in a different blog to rb an aesthetic picture or a quote.
3. how long have you been on tumblr?
i made my first tumblr back in 2011, and i don't even know what the url was anymore. i remade a million times and was pretty active in my cinema blog until i dropped the whole content making thing and came back in 2019 with defsenses, which now has turned into my baby sangyus 💗
4. do you have a queue tag?
i don't. i don't queue often, either. i'm more of a "reblogs when she's online" kind of girl.
5. why did you start your blog in the first place?
i wanted to be active in the fandoms i was in and i never really vibed with twitter culture. i also wanted to make content again, and tumblr has always been my favorite platform.

because jae is my guy, my favorite kpop boy ever regardless of who i ult. does that make sense? it makes sense to me. he's just that special.

because i finally have an ult line and i wanted everyone in it to be part of my header. i also wanted to have that quote from boys somwhere in my blog lmao.

i don't know the exact number, but a lot of wonderful people who i love a lot.

Why did you choose your url?
so this wasnt my original url I used to be wonboowoo cause I ulted seungkwan (boo) and wonwoo (won woo) but then I started to ult minghao so I added him in to get xuboowoo. I actually only ult minghao in svt now I think but I’ve had the url so long and I still love the other two so I’m not going to change it haha

so not on THIS blog. my last blog before I had to remake had two storage blogs for creations that are still accessible @wonboowoosvt for my gifs and @wonboowoomood for when I made moodboards (maybe I’ll start again?) but since they’re not connected to this blog anymore I can’t update them anymore they’re dead :((

uhhhh so 2018 for kpop blogs but like I’ve been on and off using tumblr since like 2012 (personal blogs and sad attempts at aesthetic and manic street preachers fan blogs)

Why did you start your blog in the first place?
the biggest part is I wanted to learn how to make and then share gifs within the svt fandom but I also wanted a place to interact with fans peacefully because the only other place I had been doing so was amino apps and people are SIGNIFICANTLY younger than me there for the majority and I had been made fun of for my age and liking kpop before there, tumblr is much more peaceful and friendly (and fck twitter that place is a cesspool I don’t partake in much fandom stuff there)
Why did you choose your icon?
I was trying out themes that let me put pics in the sidebar and I wanted a really cool minghao picture but I ended up picking a layout where the picture is much smaller and when I saw that I was like ooo cool that could be my icon, I wanted a hao icon of some sort
Why did you choose your header?
I don’t have a header here rn but I’m probs going to go back to the header I used on the last blog with a pic of seungkwan and minghao from ideal cut that someone kindly made for me (when I put it up they’ll be linked in my bio for credit, check them out !!)

1. Why did you choose your url?
Long story short: My ex came up with it by accident by making fun of (in good spirit) people giving characters in MMORPGs weird names. I liked it, so I kept it. He thought it was funny.
2. Any side-blogs? If you have them, name them and why you have them.
Since I had to make a new blog (yes, I’m still a bit pissed Tumblr deleted my old blog without warning or reason) I only remade one of my old side-blogs: @iamdoctorstephenstrange. It’s a Doctor Strange ask-blog that answers asks with little drawings of Stephen answering to the asker.
3. How long have you been on Tumblr?
Uhh … I think since 2015 or 2016, because I was a sheltered little German only using German fandom sites before that (except for FFN, which, I realized soon enough, is a dumpster fire). Yes, I know. No need to drag me.
4. Do you have a queue tag?
No. If I queue something, it’ll have the usual tags I use when simply reblogging stuff. Also, I rarely use the queue. You either deal with my reblogging sprees that occur every blue moon or you unfollow/block me.
5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?
Because Tumblr seems to be the only website to connect with fandom folks nowadays, except for Twitter. And New xKit makes it way easier to curate your experience than the block and blacklist function on Twitter. Even though New xKit is kinda fucked since the last big Tumblr update. Also, there was pr0n when I joined. And I draw pr0n occasionally. So this was a website where I could upload my stuff. Until I couldn’t. Yes, I’m salty.
6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?
Because I’m here, I’m queer, and I don’t care. I also art occasionally, so it seemed like a good idea to draw my own icon.
7. Why did you choose your header?
Because I’m here, I’m queer, and I don’t care. I also art occasionally, so it seemed like a good idea to use one of my fanarts for my header.

This one. On my old blog I had a few that got a few thousand notes. 😭

29, because I’m an anxious gremlin who would probably log out of Tumblr and never log in again if my dash was flooded with too much stuff every day. There’re also not that many IronStrange blogs I’m interested in following, so there’s that.

Uhh … Considering that my laptop is running most days all day and Tumblr is one of my permanently open tabs … A lot.

Not on Tumblr. I don’t count the hate anons that occasionally crawl into my inbox, because, frankly, Idgaf anymore. I’m also far too old and tired to fight.

I ignore them, because this shit usually has the opposite effect on me. I don’t like being guilt-tripped. I also want to keep my blog my happy place with as little negativity as possible.

Depends on the tag game. Currently I feel guilty, because @kiki-shortsnout tagged me multiple times already and I think I never did one of the tag games she tagged me in. I usually like them, but I simply … don’t have the energy. Depression and executive dysfunction are bitches I never needed in my life, but they’re here anyway. Like parasites.

Usually yes, but they need to be specific. If there’s only one question in them that I can’t answer/am not comfortable answering, I won’t reblog it. Which limits the ask games I actually reblog drastically. Not that I get many/any asks anyway whenever I reblog an ask game.

Uhh … Considering that I don’t exactly know who my mutuals all are and by only assuming that my friends are also my mutuals … probably no one, lol. But some of them are fandom famous! Not that I care about that, because all of them are lovely people and that’s all that matters to me.

Strands of her golden-brown hair clung to her sweat soaked skin. Her braid, which must have come undone at some point during their training session, hung loosely over her shoulder. Feyre brushed it aside absentmindedly, her attention wholly fixed on the male before her. Her eyes never left Cassian’s as she retrieved her twin daggers from the ground, where they had landed after she had been disarmed. Again. Her lips pulled back in a snarl as she crouched into a defensive position, readying herself for his next attack.
Cassian clucked his tongue and drawled, “Looks like you could use a break, High Lady.”
“Again,” she growled, sending a vicious glare in his direction. Panting heavily, she struggled to control her breathing.
He crossed his arms over his chest and smirked, “You’re tired, but just too stubborn to admit it.” Feyre bristled, his taunt hitting its mark with deadly accuracy, not that she would ever admit that to the winged male. Without a second thought, she threw her blade directly at his chest. Cassian cursed viciously under his breath as he ducked, narrowly missing the projectile.
“Hit a nerve, did I?” he asked slowly, cocking his head to the side as he gave her a considering look. Feyre resisted the urge to squirm under the intensity of his gaze. She threw her shoulders back, her grey-blue eyes flashing dangerously. She ground her jaw as she considered her options. She didn’t stand a chance in beating him in hand to hand combat, not in her current condition that was. Not after spending the past few weeks hurling her guts up, unable to keep even the blandest foods down.
Brushing her suspicions aside, Feyre huffed, “Fuck off, Cassian.” His grin widened as he began to close the distance between them, prowling towards her as though he were a predator that had caught the scent of blood, and she the prey. Feyre wracked her brain, searching for anything that would give her an advantage over the general of her armies. The corners of her lips twitched up as an idea began to form in the back of her mind. Cassian’s eyes widened as her remaining blade began to glow, radiating a deadly power as she remade it with her magic. She flashed him a wicked smile as she gripped her new weapon tightly. She swung the lightsaber experimentally, finding the strange weapon was easy to wield.
Cassian sighed heavily, “Nesta made you read that book too, huh?”
“She wouldn’t shut up about it,” Feyre huffed, rolling her eyes at the thought. Though she had only began reading the book to appease her sister, she had found herself, much to her surprise, really enjoying the story.
“Maybe we should call you High Lady of the Sith instead,” he said, stroking his chin thoughtfully.
“Only if I get to call you Darth Dork,” Feyre said, giving him a saccharine smile. Cassian tipped back his head and barked out a laugh.

I played some more of the RE2 remake
Why yes I have. Played some more Leon and Claire. Little spoilers possibly despite it’s a remake of a older game. But that’s just me.
Especially it’s late, and I didn’t make a post about this after the game. I had a apple and made two bags of popcorn for after this I’ll watch some YT.
To be honest this is probably one of my favorite Resident Evil games. It seriously is because again it’s the kind of game I like. Despite the puzzles seem difficult to me until I check YT on my PS4 and realize how dumb I was.
So the last places I left on each story.
On Leon’s I’m finally Ada, and on Claire’s well I’m under this orphanage now.
Now just some highlights I wanna mention.
That alligator chase was pretty cool. I didn’t take any damage from it. Yet I was too close when that alligator corpse came towards me and I went back a bit. But Leon still said his line.
Honestly that part playing as Sherry in the orphanage felt tense. Something that I felt was unique to a game like this. Trying to make sure I don’t do any fuck ups which I’m glad I didn’t do anything. Just staying away from Irons. Again that was a tense part because I’m playing as a child in this kind of realistic situation with this character who’s clearly a fucking bastard.
Lickers are dodgy motherfuckers. Especially when aiming that grenade launcher at them. I think it was twice I missed two at first. They are fucking quick.
After I finally get that garage key card. As I wait for the door to open, Mr. X literally surprises me as he punches my back. This was as Claire. Seriously that surprised me. Including Mr. X can be a asshole, he’s a scary force in his own right. Someone I’d rather not fuck with. But I can dodge him the best I can unless I’m surround. Mainly in Leon’s story in the jail luckily I was able to live through that.
It’s a great thing I haven’t died in any of these stories.
I feel like I can’t go back for the sub machine for Claire in the RPD Station. Which sucks but hopefully I can get some weapons under that orphanage or whatever.
Also I would love it if Mr. X actually wanted to put back on his hat. But it doesn’t happen. Honestly I’m surprised and question why Umbrella even bothered to have a hat on him anyway. Maybe to give him more character or whatever. Which sounds stupid.
I will share this, the first time I met him as Leon, I shot off his hat at first to get the, “Hat’s Off” trophy. Basically Mr. X was pissed about that.
Then we have moments because I don’t have the sub machine gun, I’m killing Cerberus dogs with my two pistols I have as Claire. Basically getting the fuck out of my way even shooting them through the fence. Because I’m on my way to save Sherry. Even telling the 2nd zombie on the bus to get the fuck out of my way after shooting it twice.
Just being honest, that Robert Kendo scene in Leon’s story....I literally said that’s tragic...because I was not expecting a scene like that. It’s honestly cool and had to look up YT to spell that characters name. But I appreciate the fact while I haven’t played these yet, the idea of the, “Ghost Survivors” modes add more to the shit going on in Raccoon City. Especially that scene with the Kendo the gun shop owner was quite a major difference compared to that 1998 original.
Again I enjoyed playing the game again. That’s what I did after I shared that video of Leon’s enemy engagement dialogue. I was thinking of playing Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. But I decided on Resident Evil 2. Seriously a very good game and even if a lot of people have already said it. I’d love to see Resident Evil 3 remade.
But also I just feel like the original trilogy are the only games that should be remade. Okay we have Code Veronica but I don’t have more experience with that game and I’m just rambling now.
Edit I’m watching Gamer’s Little Playground of, “Forgotten Soldier” and read in the comments that the, “Ghost Survivors” are just what if’s. So alright then that’s interesting. Another edit since I’m done with watching that video and skipped through it a bit and looking up videos of Leon and Claire in their classic costumes in this game. I forgot to mention I bought the original soundtrack for the game. I probably might switch the music to the original because that music is iconic and amazing. Since you have the choice to do that in the remake.
Okay my actual final edit because this was a highlight for me. After meeting Irons for the first time as Claire. I find this booklet or whatever in the area he arrived in. When reading it as it describes him I just started laughing because of how bullshit it was of it describing him as this wonderful guy.
