Hey there! I know this will sound fucking strange but, Do you know where I can have snakes in USA? I want a snake but I know that is illegal in some places but I don't know where and I know call me lazy but I really need somewhere to begin (It's ok if this is way to strange, don't answer it if you feel uncomfortable with this)

I’m not sure what each local law is, but I know that Hawai’i is the only state where snakes are illegal. I’m pretty sure boas and ball pythons are legal in every state. As well as corn snakes, kings and milks...??? Don’t get me wrong, It’s important to know the laws, but knowing which state you’re lookin at helps a lot! In a lot of states venomous reptiles are illegal or only legal with permit.

i have a question! you just posted a picture of petunia, and im surprised by how little she is! is that her full size, or is she still growing? and do you know how reliable the sizing on hog island boas is? (like, if people are frequently surprised by their hog island boa getting much bigger than they expected.) thank you!! ps- petunia is so beautiful. what a lovely snake :^)

Petunia is definitely not an adult. She is almost 3 if I am being generous. She has a lot of growing to do. Unfortunately. I don’t have much info on how big she will get simply because she is a hog island cross. She could max at a hog size or max at a normal BCI size. It’s anyone’s guess. I’m leaning more that she will be larger than a hog but won’t reach BCI size. From what I’ve seen, hogs are significantly smaller than their BCI counterparts but they can still reach 6+ feet which doesn’t make them any small cookie. Really how much a snake is fed and how often will determine their growth. I’m feeding petunia to grow slowly, for her health and lifespan this is better.
