*starting point is right after his panic attack*

it wasn’t that late at night so you were still awake to hear the frantic opening of your window. you know who it is but still look , “hey ma, u got a minute?” he says in a shaken tone, you sit up and squint your eyes to see him more clearly in the darkness and say “yea of course what’s wrong?” he clears his throat and you stand up to look at him “can we take a walk?”he says taking a sharp breath like he was running from something . you nod and put on your coat and shoes , you tell him you’ll meet him outside because you don’t know how to down from the window and he leaves. on the walk down you were a little nervous . you saw a spider man mask in his coat pocket about two weeks ago but didn’t know what to say so you just didn’t ? it caused you to be a little distant from him because you were worried , he acted like he had something to hide and even though you knew what it was it his tone still scared you .

when you got outside he was standing in front of the door being all awkward, you walked closer to him chuckling a little and said “you okay babe ?” you kiss his cheek and he sighs letting go of a breath he didn’t know he was holding . “i dunno actually, i think i just had a heart attack at home” you guys start to walk and you turn your head to look at him with confusion on your face “hm?” you say and he sighs “i dunno it was crazy , felt like my chest was caving and i couldn’t breathe even though i wasn’t doing anything? i was bugging” he rushes out his words in talks in total disbelief “it was prolly a panic attack, you been stressed recently ?” you ask and you take his hand “like never before i just got so much on my mind” he exhales deeply and looks up as he continues walking “yea i can tell , you’ve been a little off . but you know you can always always always tell me anything , you gotta talk to me miles” you say reassuringly and you squeezed his hand . he lets go of your hand and freezes in place looking straight at you when you turn to face him, all you do is squint your eyes a little , miles inhales then

you chuckle into his chest and he pushing you back by your shoulders looking into your eyes “wait wtf are you talking about” he says with genuine concern “i know you’re spider man baby” you smile and he looks dumbfounded “but- how??” he goes through all the instances in his mind where he almost slipped but he can’t think of one where he did . “i never see you and spider-man in the same room , he sounds just like you , and i found your mask in your coat pocket a while ago” he just scoffs “do you feel better now?” you ask you start walking and he puts his arm around you sighing softly “yeah i do, feels like a weight lifted” “yea you don’t have to keep sneaking around me , almost thought you were cheating before i put the pieces together . i can help you with school , maybe it’ll get your parents off your back a little ?” you suggest and he nods with a big grin “yes please i love you sooo much and i would never cheat on you mami” you smile and walk in silence with him for a little until he noticing you yawning “wanna go back home baby?” you nod and he picks you up . “what are u doing?“ you ask and he smirks “now i don’t have to hide we can just swing home.” your face lights up “i’ve always wanted to swing let’s go” he chuckles and you guys swing all the way back to your house .

when you get back in your room through the window “moon river” by frank ocean is playing softly through your speaker and miles starts to sing along as he takes off his outside clothes so he can get in your bed “wtf u know about moon river?” you say playfully and he sings louder the says “stfu i know a lot more than you, this song is sweet” you giggle at the absolute sass monster he is and get into bed with him , you listen to the sound of his heart beat and fall asleep to his voice lightly singing the song . now whenever you think of that song you think of the moment when you and miles relationship changed for the better

miles morales is very passionate when it comes to his love language of acts of service. he doesn’t have the best way with his words and even the slightest form of physical touch has him fumbling over his words. so he resorts to something he’s good at—doing things for you. did he just hear you complain about some schoolwork you’ve been dreading to get to? he’ll handle it for you. have trouble carrying your heavy booksack around school? he’ll hold his and yours for you. need help cleaning your room? he’ll go ahead and tell you to sit down because now that’s his job. sometimes you can’t help but feel bad and try to do things on your own, however, he always insists that it’s okay and that he wants to help you out no matter what it is. he’s not one to take no for an answer from you unless you are persistent, otherwise, you’re happily letting him do everything for you.

HOBIE BROWN — ღ

hobie brown seems like a quality time type of guy. he’s the type of person to like those simple dates where you just go to his place and chill. listening to music, trying a new recipe to cook, hell even trying our new hobbies like drawing or something. anything that revolves around you being in his presence for an extended amount of time. i think he would like physical touch too, cuddling while listening to music or when you’re cooking he’s towering over you with his hands around your waist or guiding your hands. public dates would probably be in a restaurant or even like a picnic. things that involve intimacy are his thing. he took all of this time trying to get you, and now that he has you, he’d like to make up for lost time.

“where is this lil nigga ?” you said to yourself as you shivered outside the movie theater looking over your shoulders trying to spot him , when you couldn’t you grabbed your phone to check his location . it was off , n he only turned it off when he was doing sum he wasn’t supposed to . you decide to text him again and ask if you should just go home . surprisingly he responses within a minute. “nah go inside and start watching it i’ll be there .” you read it in a mimicking voice then he text again “15 mins ma , swear ill be there” you just send an eye roll emoji and head inside . you show the worker your ticket , gets your snacks nn just go watch the movie . after what seems like WAY more than 15 minutes you can sense a brownskin demon enter the building. and you were right , he sits down beside you and takes some of your popcorn looking at you . “ you look good , what i miss bae” you slow turn your head to him with a stank face “what i miss bae” you say mimicking him and he rolls his eyes and kisses your cheek “m sorry i got you sum it’s in the car , an apology to say the least .” he says putting his arm around you and moving closer . “you like making me look like a dummy ? this the 5th date you been late to , starting to seem like youn really care .” you say in a hushed voice looking back at the screen and he smacks his lips . “ don’t start bro , you know i got shit to do . you know i care and i don’t mean to be late im sorry baby” he says removing his arm and sliding it onto your knee and rubbing all the way to your thigh at a slow pace . “yeah i do know u got shit to do BRO but you gon be late every single time ? jus lmk what we really doing . you could just plan better” you say softening your voice and sipping your drink and he sighs rubbing his temple with his free hand . “im sorry mama , i need to be better and i will . trust me ima start doing right , these dates mean a lot to me , and im fucking them up . im sorry , imma be better for you okay ?” he says facing you and you turn to look at him too , its dark but you can still see the genuine look on his face . “i love you girl , and i do care . don’t ever question that ight ?” he says putting his hand on your neck to kiss you deeply and you return it of course . “i love you too miles , m sorry for being so harsh” you say pecking him one more time “you wasn’t being harsh i deserve it , you wanna stay and watch the movie or leave ?” he says adjusting his position and putting his arm back around you, “well shit i already watched half the damn movie let’s just finish it” you say and he chuckles leaning to peck your forehead again “whatever you want princess .”

miles has always been there , even when he wasn’t he was . you could feel his eyes on you when he wasn’t even in the room , you hoped it wasn’t just you being delusional and your falling out hurt him as much as it did you . now what you didn’t know is it hurt him so much more, it consumed him . and he did swing by your house , your school , and your job . where ever he knew you would be just to see you . you fell out because he was with a girl and he wasn’t treating her the best and u checked him on it . he didn’t wanna be with her and you didn’t want him to either but you’ve known each other way too long to say anything . his parents and yours would often tell each other it was only temporary, you both thought it was weird they stayed in touch but you both hoped it was. you checked on him too , watching his location on your phone or even stopping by the bodega he’s always at . you were actually doing it right now , at the lil corner store miles was always at . you roamed the store just to do it and then you saw curly hair that couldn’t be any one else , you saw your best friend . but to not make it look like you were stalking him, you quietly walked in the aisle he was in . fake looking at the candy while your mind and heart were racing . and he noticed you too , he noticed you walk all the way over there and noticed you looking at candy you didn’t even like.

“hey bop” he finally said turning his head to quickly scan you then turning back and his tone irked you a little but you shook it off .

“who a bop ? anyway hey girl .. “ “ i miss you .” he said in a hushed tone so maybe you wouldn’t hear . “i miss you too, a lot.” you said and his nonchalant demeanor broke , the real him returning , only you could do that . he put his candy down , hugging you as he let out a breath he didn’t know he had . you leaned into the familiar touch , you really really missed him .

“can we not do this again ? life so boring without my favorite hoe .” you said with a sweet smile truly meaning every word , “say it again i bet iah smack tf outta you .” he said laughing and you laughed too, acting as it no time had passed , but you both knew nothing could go unsaid , as the laughter died down and you left the store he spoke up . “ i’m sorry.. about acting like that , i just don’t get why it made you so upset i was with her .” he said walking on the outside of you like he always did . “ion know i guess i didn’t want you with her , you were also treating her like a dog .” you said mindlessly only realizing when it already left your mouth , did you just say that ? “shit not that like i wanted you or anything, i just didn’t want gwen to be h-“ “she wasn’t you , i tried to see you in her but i just couldn’t .” he said stopping in his tracks pulling your hand to turn around at him , “oh , u want me real bad get off my body damn .” you said obviously kidding to avoid talking about your feelings “u play too much” he said leaning into kiss you for like the 4th time ? you always ended up kissing miles , so you let him and it happened like it always happened . it was special like always, different than anybody you’d ever kissed . “you like me or sum ? you always kissing me like damn nigga get out my mouth !” “yo stfu fore i rly do sum to you lil boy .” he said as he starting walking again and you looked around for the “lil boy” “where he at? ion see no lil boys” you said catching up with him and he just chuckled as his response . “i want you , i want us” he finally said as you smiled at the words you’ve waited so long for , “me too .”
