My evil grandmother is one of the worst child abusers that I know. Just yesterday evening, I was going to eat some creamy potato and pea soup with some ciabatta bread outside in the deck until I saw her going through her bills and deliberately taking her sweet ass time and enjoying it. I tried to make her hurry up and she said no in addition to deliberately speaking RuZZian to my face with the intention of being spiteful to me And I threatened her that if she wouldn;t stop speaking RuZZian, I would send her back to the former Soviet Union where she belongs and she said that she always wanted to move back to RuZZia forever and that she actually hated living in America; she also said that Vladimir Putin is the most wonderful man in the world and that she would love to have him as her president instead of Joe Biden.

You know what my parents problem with me was. It was that I didn't think bad behaviour should be rewarded, and by this I mean their, bad behaviour.

If they hurt me I would not do what I was told. If they beat me I would turn even more rebellious and antagonistic, so they went as far as to threaten my life in order to break my beliefs down. I didn't believe that their yelling and demanding and insults should be rewarded with obedience. I didn't believe it was fair! I was waiting for them to be nice to me, and then I would be nice in return, and then that would be fair. But it wasn't happening, so I kept fighting my war of 'if you hurt me, I will not talk to you, I will not do as you tell me, I will protest, shut myself in my room, refuse to eat, refuse to socialize, until you realize that what you've done to me was WRONG.

And it never worked out, whatever protest or rebellion I would put up, they would humiliate and mock, until they convinced me that I was acting stupid and childish and that this kind of behaviour will never get me anywhere. Shutting myself in my room is stupid, crying for hours is stupid, refusing to eat is stupid, refusing to socialize is stupid, anything that tries to tell them that they hurt me is, stupid.

They would have me believe this! Even though I was right, the entire time! I was right and they hated it! They hated seeing any kind of consequence FOR THEM, for hurting me! They hated that a kid could rebel or stand up to them and point out they're being cruel and hateful. They tried to beat and humiliate and shame this out of me for all of my life. To have me believe that their bad behaviour will be rewarded, or else.

And they thought they could get away with this. They were laughing at the idea of fairness, justice, truth and honesty shown to them by a child endlessly hurt by them. I was doing everything I could to get them to back off and realize that they're wrong. And they laughed, feeling too superior to consider that hurting a child endlessly might be wrong.

In the end I ran away from home. And now the truth is staring right back at them, unable to be humiliated, unable to be beaten into place, in the form of my empty room and a house forever empty of me.

Rapper Macklemore is releasing a track called “Hind’s Hall”, speaking out on the genocide of Palestinians, and the United States complacency in this ongoing violence. Macklemore has stated that once the track drops on streaming, all proceeds from streams will be going directly to UNRWA— the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East.

The new tracks namesake Hind’s Hall echoes the honours that Columbia University encampment protestors bestowed the Morningside Heights campus’ Hamilton Hall— in memory of Hind Rajab, the 6 year old Palestinian girl in Gaza who was shot by Israeli soldiers after being trapped inside a vehicle, with her dead family. She had begged to be rescued as tanks closed in on her.

Macklemore using his platform to vehemently speak out against genocide, the Israeli occupation and United States-led violence is what every single artist should be doing right now. The power of art should not be underestimated. Macklemore started out in the Hip-Hop scene within communist circles, namely working alongside Blue Scholars, and has never neglected his Leftism through out his career: the artist has spoken on issues regarding mental health, addiction, racial profiling and police violence, Capitalism, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights and toxicity of American culture.

It's been four days! Life flies by sometimes. I did do some carving yesterday, but forgot to snap a pic. Finished the carving part of the Werewolf Whittler's bear tutorial. I really enjoy trying to make the wood look soft by making all the round shapes.

Israel has done what we all predicted and warned about. Simple, pure evil. They pushed Palestinians by carpet bombing everywhere till they all had to go to the least bombed place (No, Rafah was never completely safe. They were bombed there, too, to a horrific degree), and then, after cramming what nears a two million civilians with about 600 thousand children, they are asking them to leave... to where?! Nowhere. They are just saying leave. So then, when they kill them all, they can say 'Oh, we warned them'

WE DID IT!

We have FINALLY moved out of our parents' house!!!

Finally we don't have to worry about their emotional abuse again, and everything they've put us through our whole lives. Me and my siblings finally got our own place far from them with the help of friends, and now we're OUT! We're FREE!

Moving into a new, empty place is rough though. There's a lot of stuff we have to get to stock up, like an initial grocery run, filling the pantry, shower curtains, toothpaste, toilet paper, plungers, dish rack, towels, etc etc etc jfc you don't realize how much a house needs until you're in an EMPTY ONE

And all of those costs add up and hurt the wallet. We can make it, but it's definitely taking A Toll --- if anyone could help us get on our proper feet while we settle into our new place, this is my Ko-Fi right here! Any little bit helps!

So happy we finally made it out. Finally put a close to a chapter that lasted too long. Now's time for the future.

I have not been raised well. Nobody raised me. I was pushed down and told to stay down. People think well-raised people act pleasing so they assume my upbringing was done well. My elderly mother has suffered a stroke in her eye which resulted in internal bleeding and she is in dire need of urgent medical attention and surgery. My mother is only able to see with my one eye and she requires assistance and treatment as soon as possible There is no medicine, x-rays, or surgery in Gaza .
