Sorry for not being very active - life and all that, you know... But I want to reblog this old classic because I am still in love with the simplicity of this story. You literaly have a boy falling for a feeder girl, come on... And in general I actually dig Rolo as a weight gain subject. He kind of grew on me.
Does anyone know if there are more Rolo weight gain plots within Brazilian comics? Or similar male weight gain within Brazilian comics? It is a whole universe I unfortunately do not know much about... But if there is anything else I am ready to love it with all my heart X)

Thanks to the help of an anonymous helper, let me present you this comic strip, part of the “Turma da Tina” comic. An offhsoot of the “Turma da Monica” comic (that some of you may know as Monica’s gang or Monica’s class - there is an article for it on the Big Cartoon Wiki), “Tina’s gang” deals with teenagers and is basically what I would call the Brazilian equivalent of the Archie comics (while Monica’s comic book dealed with kids and I guess could be compared to something like Peanuts, though in a very very different way).
The main protagonist is Tina - the girl we see in the first panel with glasses and a ponytail. But the real hero of the story here is actually one of Tina’s best friend and a recurring secondary character in the Tina comics - Rolo. The one with what can be called a blue “sunflower mane” around his face, which is actually his hair and beard mending with each other. Originally, in the first comis, Rolo was just like Tina a sort of embodiment of the hippie culture (the comic was created in the 1970s). But then time went by, and Tina went through numerous teenage fashions and styles before setting for being a young clever journalist, while Rolo became a true “womanizer”, always going out with different girls, always searching for a new “love” and always living all sort of misadventures due to his chaotic love affairs and his insistance on staying a “free spirit”.
And usually, Rolo is thin as a rail - think “Shaggy” from Scooby-doo, this kind of thin. (oh yes and while they started the comic as teens, here they are roughly in their 20s). But when Tina sees him in the first panel, she realizes he got huge - big, thick and fat. And Rolo is actually quite proud of being fat, gloating about it to his friend. He also explains he is in this shop precisely because due to his new weight he needs new clothes. He is currently wearing clothes sized 44, but since they are “getting tight” he needs to go for a 46 - which absolutely horrifies Tina. [For a quick explanation, clothes size 44 are GG (XL), which is usually worn by people between 85 and 95 kilos, while 46 is GGG (XXL), usually worn by people above the 95 kilos and 105 kilos. Since 44 is already tight for him, I can easily guess that Rolo is currently around the 95 kilos mark and approaching the 100 (95 kilos is roughly 210 lbs, while 100 kilos is 220 lbs). ]
When Tina wants to understand how Rolo gained so much weight in such time, he explains to her it is due to his new girlfriend, Fifi, a charming, gentle and beautiful girl - who also happens to be the best cook he ever made, and who shows her love with huge feasts prepared just for him. Tina reminds him that it is not because she is a good cook that he needs to “overeat” and that he should just reduce his portions to lose weight, but Rolo explains that Fifi gets vexed and upset if Rolo doesn’t eat everything she prepares for him with a good appetite ; and on top fo that she always prepare all the dishes that he specifically like!
Tina gets even more furious and reminds him that being too fat is not a sign of health, but can cause medical troubles, especially if the weight gain is so sudden. Rolo ends up admitting that she is right and that he got a bit too big. He goes to Fifi to have a talk with her and convince her to prepare less food - but she surprises him with another big feast. And since Rolo has no willpower whatsoever, he forgets everything he wanted to say to Fifi and digs in, devouring everything with glee.

What is the picture in your header from?
One of my oldest sightings - and one of the reasons I even began doing blogs like this in the first place.
It is an expansion instance from a French comic book, a bande-dessinée about Bretagne folklore and fairytales called "Les Contes du Korrigan". I should maybe reblog this post one day - after all it is like at the very back of my oldest archives...

Season 2 of Marvel What If is combing back this year on December, so we can expect some possible alternate plus-sized heroes till then. Perhaps one in which Ultron was never created and Tony gets fat like in issue 34.
Maybe. Though to be fair, the criticism surrounding Fat Thor has caused a widespread movement of "do not include WG scenarions in superhero fiction". For example, the Umbrella Academy TV show had planned on adapting the weight gain plot of the comics, but it was explicitly said in interviews that they forgot out it because of the scandal surrounding fat-Thor
So I do not have much great hopes for this

I normally should have posted this on this blog (since it is the one centered around comic books) but given there was some general updates in it, I decided to first post it on my new main kink blog, and then repost it here.
In fact I do plan of reposting my old comic book posts from my old kink blog (come-to-the-day) here, since I won’t be able to make new posts anytime soon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I haven’t posted a sighting in a LONG LONG LLLLOOONNNGG time - but this is mostly due, if you are not aware, to the fact that - by trying to collect pictures for the “Witch of Mercury” or whatever sighting back on my anime blog (thefatisland) my stash of pictures and videos for “kink in cartoons and anime” kind of crashed and burned… So I have to begin from scratch again. Hooray! Hopefully I had collected a lot of sighting over my now four kink blogs.
And I’ll do a quick post here to mention a funny little comic that twists a very well-known fairytale beloved by gainers around the world: Hansel and Gretel!
There is an humoristic comic series for kids called “Far Out Fairytales” whose entire premise is to re-imagine a fairytale in a WILDLY different setting. You have Cinderella as a ninja, Snow White as a space princess with seven robots, Red Riding Hood as a superhero, The Snow Queen as a video game story… And you also have Hansel and Gretel - but this time reimagined as zombies! It is aptly called “Hansel and Gretel and zombies”, where the twist is that the two children weren’t poor human kids abandoned by their parents - but a pair of zombie child posing as humans in hope of devouring some sweet brains.
Things backfire however when their intended victim turns out to be a wicked witch - and the fairytale plays as usual, Hansel being locked in a cage and fattened up. Though as per the fairytale’s humor, the witch realizing he is a zombie and doesn’t eat regular food, has to use a special stash of artificial brains to fatten Hansel up. And while the oblivious Hansel at first just delights and stuff himself silly with brains - he quickly starts to be tired of stuffing himself full, but the witch forces him to continue, which as you can see above takes its toll on his figure. There is more of the weight gain in the comic (most notably a fourth picture completing the sequence above, where Hansel lays on his back, his belly sticking out, begging for “No more brains…”), but I couldn’t add it to the post. I will take a more minimalistic approach to my post from now on - but if you want to see if quickly for free (I do suggest supporting the original artist, because they’re funny little comics and honestly, to have in your hand a physical depiction of a weight gain feels very different from just seeing the pictures on a screen, which is why I personally tend to buy my favorite comic issues with weight gain in it - plus in case your entire stock of pictures DISAPPEARS OVERNIGHT it might be nice) ; but if you do not have money to spend (or are just tight on budget, or are just a greedy money-pincher) the comic is actually disponible on good ol Internet Archive!

Kind of a minor weight gain scene I saw recently that nobody else has mentioned, but in Exiles 1 issue 86, an alternate universe zombie version of Wolverine briefly gains a pretty significant belly after eating a group of other Wolverines. It only lasts for a few panels before he's beheaded however. Otherwise a few Wolverines seen in the background of this comic and the previous issue seem to be rather obese too, in particular an Asian version of Wolverine who goes unnamed.
It is actually a really nice find! Thank you for this one - I'll try to make a post about it as soon as I can

Okay so... long story short I found a belly moment at random.
I was looking at some fantasy comics books to dig into and I found the little gem that is “Hillbilly”. I loved this comic. Basically take the idea of a sword-and-sorcery fantasy, but the setting is in an early “Americana” and monsters are now inspired by Appalachian folklore (witches, demons in the mountain, miners ghosts obsessed with gold and cursed fiddles...). It was really good.
As a result I wanted to look around at more of creation from the man behind it, Eric Powell. And I found he made two Halloween-special comics called “Spook House” and “Spook House 2″ respectively. Anthologies of creepy AND funny story, parodies of horror stories and jokey spooky stories.
In “Spook House 2″ there is a story called “Devil Sprout” about a boy living in a beet farm, and thus being forced to eat beet almost every day. The thing is he hate beet, so much he decides one day to destroy the crop just to stop eating them. But it soon turns out he literaly destroyed what the farm needs to survive... until a mysterious seller gives his dad “devil sprouts”, easy and fast to grow, to replace his crops. Of course the devil sprouts turn out to be literal devils and demons (that also happent to be vegetable grown out of the ground). The boy, to save his family from an invasion of plant-demons, decides to fight them off by eating them all. Cut to a bloated belly gag. And the last catchline “Turns out devil sprouts taste just like beets”.

A Superman find (and search)
So I was sent a link to an article which depicts a Superman weight gain story I haven’t seen yet.
The article is on a website that has no relationship to weight gain whatsoever - it is part of a “Cartoon Cats” series of posts that literaly lists all the moments a cat appears in comics.
Anyway one article is about a specific Superman story that was created by Wayne Boring and Alvin Schwartz, and published on the 14th of october 1956. We do get a full description of the story (focused around the moment where the cat appears):
After an encounter with “a runaway comet loaded with deadly radiation” Superman somehow begins gaining weight, and no matter what he does he’s unable to shed those unwanted pounds. In order to rescue a cat that has fallen down an old cistern, the Man of Steel has to dig a hole down parallel to it, because he’s now too fat to just fly down the well and scoop up the poor kitty!
But we do not get the references of said story. The article does include a scan of the kitty scene, and they say it is from the third volume of the “Superman: Atomic Age Sundays” series that has been recently published, collecting all the Sundays comics of Superman. The third volume covering precisely the Sundays comics of 1956-1959. Here is the picture in question:
Tumblr media
The person who sent me this article also managed to find another scan of the story, in a smaller and lesser quality. Here it is:
Tumblr media
If you have more info about this comic, know where to find it or can send me scans (because I can’t buy the volume compiling all those comics), don’t hesitate to send me a message or leave a note!
Here is also the original “Comic Book Cats” article that started this hunt:

So here’s the thing. A lot of my comic book posts are actually on my old blog, come-to-the-day, that I currently closed.
I want to bring them over to this new blog, but I don’t have the strength (or time) to redo these posts entirely.
So I will reblog them here.
Here’s the thing though - should I just reblog them and keep the original posts on my old blog? Or should I reblog them here AND delete the original ones from my old blog so that they only survive here? It is a question I have been wondering, as a way to “empty out” and see better in my old blog.
Leave your opinion below and I’ll act depending on it. “Delete” or “Not delete”

I found a new one. It's called "Cheater Code", the main character is pretty pudgy (with a flab grab scene in a shower). Fair warning, though, it's an erotica.
So I have looked at this...
It was quite a nice read. Though a bit too "sweet" for me. The story is actually quite funny with a lot of parodies and references I could easily catch (the story is about a man who finds out his boyfriend cheated on him, and then after a freak storm he enters a world of video games - given he is an avid gamer - and he crosses from one video game world to another, meeting different handsome and seductive game characters, all parodies or references to popular video game franchises). The art is nice, there's a full developped story there.
In terms of pudge, the character is indeed a sexy pudgy guy. In fact, it is a minor plot point that he used to be a fit guy but due to neglecting his body grew quite a gut, that (spoilers: he ends up losing by the end after deciding to take care of himself better). We get some great drawings and shots of his naked body, and indeed the grabbing scene in the shower in the very first chapter with him lamenting his weight gain is very nice.
HOWEVER... Saying it is an "erotica" is actually a bit of an understatement. This is actually porn. Officially it is sold as an "graphic novel romance story for adults" but in truth it is basically fantasy gay porn with a lot of jokes, plots and character development thrown in there (it is part of these new works that have been coming out recently where the artists and creators realized it is not because they do porn that they can't have a fully developped story and serious characters). There is sex everywhere because the story relies on it - the boyfriend cheating in the beginning is shown explicitely, and each character the protagonist encounters in the video game worlds ends up becoming his one-time lover. And the sex is EXPLICIT! We see everything from beginning to end, various techniques, and even a few soft kinks. I honestly learned more about regular gay sex there than anywhere else before... (Mind you, being asexual I don't know much at all Xp). As a result, it can be quite a frontal assault for someone not used or prepared to that. But at the same time they don't seem to do things too gross or exaggerated? Again I don't know, after having dug into the world of hentais EVERYTHING seems less gross and more realistic - but despite that, it is still very detailed, very explicit, so reader beware.
I would love to make a post about this, cause it is bizarre, cute and developped enough for me to love this... but given Tumblr's censorship it would be almost impossible to make these posts given when we see the better of the protag belly it is often when he is entirely naked...
Thanks for the discovery and I'll see if I can go around Tumblr's censorship one of those days :p

Me again! I found "Wildsiderz" with the character Bam. He's got a good gut.
It is indeed a character with a big gut. Unfortunately I don't like much the artstyle of the comic, and Bam is a bit too much your stereotypical "big dumb brute always thinking about eating", not much in there... Plus the eight part mini-series got stuck at the second issue years ago, and seems to have been utterly dropped.
So I'll leave the name and reference here, but probably won't make a post about it

Do you know about the curse of the doughnuts? By wolfgonewide?
OF COURSE! It was one of my very early weight gain comics (as in, one of the first ones I ever saw).
Note that, as I wasn't aware of the existence of fetish/weight gain Internet comics, as I was just discovering the fat kink and weight gain fetish, and as I didn't even know what furries were (I had no idea they existed back then)... Well you can guess I was hella confused by this, both fascinated and disturbed at the same time.

I think the one you are talking about is the user going by Sharpt00th on Furaffinity:
https://www.furaffinity.net/user/sharpt00th/
Drawing monsters, dragons, demons and eldritch abominations, with a great love for weight gain, vore, male pregnancy and lovecraftian transformations - all with good fun and morbid humor.
Hi, i think on your main blog you posted about an artist once, who draws fat gothic/horror characters? I think vampires and dragons? They had this sort of cartoony but very graphic/gorey style. I wanted to find their blog again but i forgot the name. I think it was something along the lines of lavishlucius? Could you help me find them again please?
I know the one you are speaking about! Let me find it back for you...
