Hey Mischievous friends!

As our first look into the animation of our upcoming game, Evi Dents: Mastermind Detective, we have Evi herself! She has a very kind personality, but don’t let that fool you, she doesn’t put up with shenanigans. This particular sequence is a combination of a few of her possible conversations ingame. We will have many more of these, so be alert!

Remember to stay mischievous! And watch out for that red dot...it can’t be caught, sorry Evi!

完璧主義な凄腕刑事がやってきた！その名も、ウォーレン・ピース刑事！

ウォーレン・ピース刑事は、パラドックス警察庁の長官も務める優れた刑事です。街を犯罪から守るのを何よりも重視し、性格も率直であまり冗談の通じない人として知られています。

20XX年、パラドックスの街は独自の創造性と独創性を育み、世界をリードする大変豊かな街に成長していました。その独創性は時に、他では見ることのない特殊な犯罪をも、もたらされてしまうのです。自分の部署では解決できそうにないケースに直面した時、ウォーレン刑事はしぶしぶエヴィの元へ訪れます。例えどんなに難しいケースでも、エヴィのユニークな視点から切り込んでいくスキルを認めているからです。（でも絶対本人は彼女の前では認めようとはしませんが。）

The calculating commissioner makes his entrance! Introducing Warren Peace!

Commissioner Warren Peace leads the Paradocks Police Department. Taking his duty to stop crime seriously, Warren is usually a straight-shooting, no-nonsense type of person. While sometimes coming off as aloof, Warren cares deeply for his community and will do whatever he can to protect the greater good.

Paradocks’ is the pinnacle city of the year 20XX and fosters the most exceptional creativity and ingenuity. And with that inventiveness brings even more unique ways to commit crime. When a case proves to be too bizarre for his own department to solve, he begrudgingly turns to Evi for her unique perspective. Being a great detective in his own right, Warren respects Evi’s detective skills and her ability to crack even the toughest of cases (although he’ll never admit it to her).

Welcome to Life in Paradocks! Paradocks City is a massive city where our game, Evi Dents: Mastermind Detective takes place! While Evi is out solving mysteries, the people of Paradocks City go about their daily lives in the world’s most densely populated and culturally robust city on the planet! With millions of people in such a huge city, it’s hard to know where to begin.

彼女がママのメイ・アイ？そのとおり！

メイ・アイはヒュー・エム・アイ教授の奥さんで、ユーのお母さんでもあります。ヒューと同じように、彼女もまた業界一の腕を持つ栄養士で、パラドックスの街でも活躍中。

栄養士である傍ら、息子ユーの偏食ぶりには悩ませ続けられていました。そこで発案したのが、母の愛の込もった彼女オリジナルの「ブレインフード」。お菓子のような味ながら、栄養は抜群！ ゲーム内では、パズル開始時にヒントを与えたり、パズルをやり直せることができるようになるスペシャルアイテムとして活躍します！

ヒューとメイは学会の発表などで家を離れることも多いのですが、2人はいつも連絡を取り合う仲です。なので、今回みたいにヒューがメモだけを残してどこかへ出かけることはまずありえない、とメイは最初から思っていました。それからヒューとは連絡がとれない日が続き、メイはユーと一緒にエヴィ・デンツの元へやってきたのです。

Mother May Aye? Yes you may!

May Aye is the wife of Professor Hugh M. Aye and the mother of Yuu. Much like her husband, she is the best in her field and is the leading nutritionist in Paradocks.

While raising a young Yuu, May often had difficulty dealing with his picky eating habits. And with necessity being the mother of all invention, May came up with her patented “brain foods” - food that tastes just like guilty pleasures but with a nutritious kick! In the game, this “brain food” gives Evi special abilities such starting clues and even the ability to re-do puzzles!

While Hugh and May often travel to showcase their latest creations, it’s unusual that the two don’t communicate with each other. May found it very suspicious that Hugh disappeared on a trip leaving behind only a note. With no word back from her beloved husband in weeks, she and Yuu get Detective Evi Dents on the case.

ユー・エン・アイは、ヒューとメイの一人息子。科学の道へ進んで欲しい両親の思いとは裏腹に、ユーは虫への興味をどんどん強めて行きました。ありとあらゆる虫を捕まえては、自分の部屋で飼うのが好き。虫への情熱の注ぎ込みように眉をしかめる人もいますが、彼の優しくて遊び心を持った性格は周りの人々を惹きつけてやみません。

ユーは父親の行方を探す手がかりをつかむため、エヴィに父の秘密を解くパズルが散りばめられた自宅を案内して回ります。もともと聡明な彼は、エヴィがパズルを解く手助けをするのが大好き！ゲーム内では、ゲームに詰まってしまったプレイヤーにヒントを出す役として活躍します。果たしていつか、ユーがエヴィを超える日が来るのか？！

The self-proclaimed king of bugs, Yuu N. Aye, makes a grand entrance!

Yuu N. Aye is the son of Hugh and May. Encouraged to explore the sciences by his parents, Yuu found that bugs captured his interest. Against the wishes of his parents, Yuu collects bugs and cares for them in his room. While his fascination with bugs weirds some people out, it’s his air of gentle playfulness that really charms everyone.

Yuu acts as Evi’s guide as she investigates the family mansion for clues to the whereabouts of his father. Brilliant in his own right, Yuu loves helping Evi solve the puzzles left by his father to guard his secrets. In the game Yuu offers hints to player when they are stuck. Could Yuu even rival Evi’s skills one day?

熱心な慈善家でアート好きでもある彼は、自分の開発で得たお金をパラドックスの街のアートコミュニティに貢献できるように使います。新しいガジェットに取り組んでいない時は、自分のミュージックルームやアートギャラリーでゆっくり時間を過ごすのが好き。

ヒューはメイの夫でもあり、ユーのお父さんでもあります。仕事で忙しくなる時もあるけれど、彼にとって家族は一番大事なもの。

Professor Hugh M. Aye is the world's top mechanical engineer. His clever designs have advanced technology several years into the future and put Paradocks on the map.

Being a philanthropist, Hugh uses the money he earns to invest in the art scene of Paradocks. When he’s not working on a new gadget, you can find him in his music room or art gallery.

Hugh is also the husband of May and the father of Yuu. While his work can keep him preoccupied at times, his family is what is most important to him.

After leaving only a mysterious and uncharacteristic note behind, Hugh has not been seen in weeks. With no clues to his whereabouts, his family seeks out help from Paradock’s finest detective - Evi Dents!
