I have very complex feelings about being a fictive introject of my source character... Yami Marik.

I come seeking reassurance that everything will be alright. I've come to actually care for Marik Ishtar and Duke Devlin in here. And I'm. Not really sure how to proceed. - Yamima (it/they/he pronouns please. In that order.)

'Course it'll be alright. The way I see these moments, it's like...

Fresh start kinda thing. Tons of us change from how we used t' be, and tons of us (even if staying similar) make new connections or engage in shit you otherwise might not see us engage in. We can also end up carin' about people in different ways.

Best way to proceed is to just be yourself anyways, regardless of introject stuff. Do whatever's most comfy for yaself. We here like to keep our source names and Cure names, but there's no obligation for anyone to keep those names.

You don't gotta hold yourself to your source actions. It's a new slate. Do what ya want from here on out as a new you and see how it goes. That's what life's about - findin' yourself, even if there was a yourself beforehand. Keep focusin' on that kinda journey and you'll be fine.

I've got a lot of fandoms, but given our blog's theme and it being the source most of us come from, I'm going to be answering as though it's for the Precure fandom (all seasons) ^-^"

7 - "Your favorite tropes to read/write/draw."

For me, I really, really like "Immoral turned soft" tropes... something that I'm completely against in real life being taken and twisted by the characters to essentially become "I'm going to protect you as much as I can while this is happening". It makes me feel warm inside to see that in fictional tropes...

9 - "A ship that isn't your OTP but that you enjoy."

I really like Mashiro and Ageha together! They're childhood friends, and Mashiro was able to prevent Ageha from running away fully, bringing her back to safety... Mashiro spent all day looking for her friend when they were both younger, just to make sure she was safe. It's Sora and Mashiro heavily hinted at being together and that's what's pushed most, but I really like how Ageha and Mashiro interact in their own dynamics. Thanks for the ask!

literally just saw someone make a "what if I kill you" joke in response to people creating NSFW art/fics of an aroace character and I just want to say...

If there is a fictional character who you love and/or want to sexualize, do it, regardless of their canon or fanon sexuality. You know why? Because they're fictional. It's not going to hurt them. It's not going to hurt anyone else. But if it makes you happy, fucking go for it.

Draw them doing someone. Write about them dating and falling in love. With another character, with you, with your OC. With Fluttershy from MLP, IDGAF.
