A lot of the active Azula stans here are weird (woobifying and incest crowd) but there are some genuinely decent people who primarily talk about Azula on this site who enjoy her complexity too!

It’s not just the zucest support some of them do. Azula fans are much like the fans of the overrated MCU Thanos, they downplay their abusive tendencies (Zuko and Nebula/Gamora), paint them as woobies (even though they greatly relish in destruction, brutal) and say they’re right for trying to commit genocide. They really need to watch more media, Maleficent, Hades, Freddy Krueger, Chucky the Killer Doll, Totally Spies’s Mandy prove that villains can be effective/fun without being sympathetic

I like her only for her cool battles and mental breakdown arc, you are right though!
