1994 E350 Surveillance Van

Van Back Story: I purchased this "1994 E350 Surveillance Van" through an online government auction in Summer 2017 for $5,858. Someone from within the State of Tennessee must have wanted it for themselves (TN State employees can’t buy surplus State property.) So, when whoever DROVE (I asked) it to Nashville and "turned it in" to be auctioned LOCKED all the doors and the keys were coincidentally “lost”? 

During my initial van inspection, I was able to unlocked the doors, I took one look inside, immediately shut the doors and locked it back up. I’d seen everything I needed to and totally understood why it was locked up and somewhat hidden in the very back of the State Auction Lot.

It was a suggestion from the @roadtrippers App we use and it turned out to be well-worth the visit! With upgrades like an @lp_aventure Lift Kit, larger sized all terrain @bfgoodrichtires and a @warnindustries winch & recovery system, I’d consider my Subaru Outback a competent overland vehicle. No, I can’t stand up like in my camper van, and yes, most of my gear resides outside. We're in for an Out-of-this-World treat over the next few days. On the last solstice of 2020 (Dec. 21), Jupiter and Saturn will appear the closest together in the night sky in 4 centuries.   The Geminids meteor shower — a.k.a. the brightest annual meteor shower — peaks late tonight + early tomorrow (Monday) morning with up to 150 Meteors Per Hour from the east-northeast. PRO TIP: Bundle up and allow 20 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness. And, the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn (which some Bible Beaters are calling the "Christmas Star") is now visible on the southwest horizon just after sunset and will be brightest on the winter solstice next Monday. The two planets will seem to switch positions in the sky as Jupiter overtakes Saturn in its orbit.
