#beautiful incredible fun group project from last semester that went perfectly come home to me #literally there were 8 of us and we all did equal work and had fun and created a really really cool piece #which also got the highest grade any of us have ever gotten #and we were all friends so if that is not evidence that choosing your groups is better then being assigned them i dont know what is #my current group project is unfortunately hell #group projects

i think at the end of group projects you should have the option to kill anyone in your group who made your life actively worse. this would increase murder rates by five thousand percent but it would also increase me being happy rates by ten million percent

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

annabeth taking the knife for percy was peak impulsiveness at that stage of their relationship. because up until this point of the series. if i'm remembering correctly. all of annabeth actions were calculated. even her stubborn actions had merit. but taking the knife? knowing he was invulnerable? but taking the knife? knowing that him watching you cry out in agony hurt him just the same if he had been stabbed? but taking the knife? and then lying on a cot in the glisten of the setting sun? vulnerable and slow? grounding him like he's the one who needed saving? like watching you bleed out is enough to kill him? and touching the small of his back brings him back to life? impulsiveness turned romantic. turned angst. turned 'all the words i didn't say but you heard them anyway'. don't talk to me.

thinking about how gen z people online love to pat themselves on the back for being so media savvy and having learned soooo much from the way people like britney spears and anne hathaway and pam anderson were treated by the media and public during their day and then turn around and take part in the same kind of gleeful mass spectacles tearing apart women like amber heard and rachel zegler and like, forcing kate middleton to reveal her cancer diagnosis. and in each of these cases, when someone with power says “hey this is really fucked up,” the reaction is to… spin and blame their behavior on other people? “depp had a bot army,” “the palace publicity messed up!!!” yes but in every instance, YOU were the one making the choice to participate. at any moment you could’ve put your phone down and said “this feels morally wrong, i’m not going to do this.” but you didn’t, did you? we have free will to conduct ourselves better or worse in these situations and i’m sorry but there’s really no one you can blame for your choices

i firmly believe adam parrish is the kind of freak who doesn't listen to music. not a single genre opinion up there all songs are either 'okay' or 'bad'. you could put on silver springs by fleetwood mac and he'd be like "its pretty good." maybe "i like it" if its clear that's what hes supposed to say. ronan asks him to pick the music in the bmw once and he says "i don't really like music" and ronan makes him sit in the backseat for the rest of the drive so he doesn't have to look at him anymore

pros: you get to feel clean. you get non greasy hair, non oily feeling skin, it just in general makes you feel better, more energised, refreshed.
