game devs need to invest in having fashion advisors around during development like I can't do this anymore

Okay ME1 is a masterpiece but god I HATE that scene with Kaidan where he kinda flirts & then asks if his feelings are reciprocated and the dialogue options are more or less like:
Yes
Yes
No
So you hit ‘no’ and then Shepard’s like

hold on suzy is not jung hwa’s first gay role??? also your tags on mine related posts are my favourite
no, I think suzy choi is kim jung hwa's first gay role after all. she was a guest actress in the 2006 indie gay film "no regret" (후회하지 않아), which apparently is considered the first gay korean film ever? I only know her role was small but important, but I haven't watched it myself so I can't tell you more. your ask made me look into it a bit and I don't think her character was actually gay! im sorry for helping spread misinformation. but it's still interesting how twice in her life when gay history was being made in korea (the first gay film, the first lesbian character in a mainstream drama) she was there. 🤷
the director of that film is lee song-hee-il, openly gay. when this whole mess happened he released a statement criticising kim jung-hwa and her husband. he mentioned that when they met he had a good impression of her, and was thankful to her for accepting a role in a gay film with low pay at a time when no other actors wanted to touch a gay film with a 10 foot pole. 🤷🤷🤷
and thank you!! agskdjsldahdks im delighted someone likes my incoherent tag rambles 💖

is kim junghwa really homophobic homegirl is a little too good with her potrayal of loving a woman and the fact that this is not her first gay role is very interesting to me
"homegirl is a little too good with her portrayal of loving a woman" akshakdjdkd my thoughts exactly 👀 but to be fair, acting is acting. maybe she's just that good. maybe the pink money is just that good. maybe kim seohyung is just that good.
i'm not sure how much you know, anon, but I'll give you the tl;dr. she's a protestant christian. take it from someone who's from a protestant family, there's a 99% chance she's a homophobe. her husband straight up and said they [the couple] are "against homosexuality", called gay ppl abnormalities and said she agreed with his views. she refused to say a single word to refute any of his claims. her agency's entire official statement was "sorry for the inconvenience, please understand it's hard for the actress to state her official position."
she could even like women on the low, that wouldn't prevent her from being a homophobe. why would she marry that pig if she didn't agree with his views? why would she let him run his mouth and speak for her? maybe she was born with it. maybe it's.. internalised homophobia.

being a fan of a polarizing female character is hard because whenever you say “yeah i really like her–” someone cuts you off with “i have violent fantasies about killing her”
