//Technically Ice Queen who was previously my Ice King. I predicted a lot of canon with Ice King's development after going into my own fanon for FnC. Then FnC drops and the narratives just kept lining up lol. It kind of reminded me of the old days of predicting things with Ice King in the foreshadowing that's left throughout the show for Simon around a decade ago. It was a nice nostalgic feeling before I pressed onward doing my own thing with Ice Queen since all AUs are basically canon in AT at this point.

//Vaggie became one of my favorite characters partially out of being correct, but also me being vindicated from spite. As I had multiple people insist she wasn't an Angel to me in the past rather aggressively. Other than that, I think as a contradiction from me that I think her personality is a little bland in canon. It's why I tend to give her a Goth Jock but intellectual kind of energy when it comes to her interests or being a Slayer as a Rogue Angel with a military past background in an extremely alien culture as her origins as a celestial but isn't afraid to pal around sometimes either. But also retains that angry bitch energy when prompted or annoyed in terms of no nonsense when it's all business.

//As for characters: I very rarely like Angel Dust or Alister from the fandom mostly from fanon. I think they're 'okay' by themselves though I think Angel Dust could have a better delivered narrative, as often I find it fairly on the nose before we even know who he is for almost several years. And for any form of sympathy I'm supposed to feel, it just feels like it's just eh, not well constructed in terms of pacing and what to deliver. It's just lazy writing to just dump it immediately onto the table bc then we have to feel sorry for him? Other than that I think he's funnier more than a few others.

He's the only real character I'd complain about other though from a surface glance other than maybe Vaggie not saying her origins is somehow her 'fucking up' lol?

Other than that I have no real complains about HH as my investment is v little at this point other than for the things I like.

You are free to like this call but I would suggest reading her bios first as I use a very manga based continuation and the anime of Dungeon Meshi has to yet to conclude, so there will be MASSIVE spoilers. And she'd realize just how much of an achilles heel Ash had, that armor took a lot of force to bypass... so much in fact. Behind the now dead man, a good chunk of the base had been torn part in the direction she had directed that force blast, exposing it to the outside as the power went out. Azathira would hear a thud behind her as Ash would fall to the ground, weak, vulnerable while heaving heavily. Coughing up purple blood, they could see she only had one eye as they steadily fell out of reality of what was happening around her.

Azathira had a chance now, they would find it easy to take the man's ship and go back to her now. Leave the planet while Ash was alive, then either betray her, kill her or otherwise.

Well, it was both worrisome and a bit relieving to know some things could stop Ash. That she wasn't as godly powerful as Azathira thought. Though she was definitely still a lot stronger than herself.

Azathira had many close calls getting them close in, barely breathing and sweating a bit until they finally got close enough. The roar made her shirk back and try to cover her ears with her tentacles. She managed with just that roar to blow his arm off, stopping the firing.

"Perfect." Azathira said with a rather wicked smile before rushing in and stabbing the man perfectly in the heart. He was dead, in tact mostly. It was a job well done! "There we go. Now we just take that arm to Sylvao and I'll be rich enough to retire from all this."

Those eyes had a swirling pink to them for a moment, yet not fully red, mostly in protest to the lack of the circle now, "AWH, WHERE'D IT GO? It felt tasty." Then staring at her with drool as they explained this, they simply responded, "Huh! Yeah are your ears hurt or something? I've said that uhm... two or three times now probably! Maybe four! I'm forgetful."

You can't tell if persuasion works on this creature from it having a strong will... or perhaps she's simply that dumb to not understand the concept of lying that well.

Euphoria can't help but to look in a mixture of amazement. and being absolutely T'd off that the other somehow, not only could see the invisible sphere of magic. but was able to jump her happy ass right out of it! sure nothing was going to hold them in place in the area.. but the fact they avoided it so cleanly..

The Zone of Truth drops. as Euphoria raised a brow. well, so much for that. she can't even get a read on if they were able to resist the magic or not..

" Hm.. Hey friend, listen. I really wanna know why this happened. you sure they just attacked you out of the blue? did they say anything that might lead you to believe they had a reason? " She is trying her best to get some sort of sane answer here.

The creature had pondered for a moment as those eyes shifted their gaze. It seemed to calm and return to a certain, permanently happy demeanor instead of 'anger mixed with happy'. At least the twins could ease up, "Of course, these things take time after all. As I don't know about you, but while I use my powers and all that? I don't really want to be someone's slave like whoever this collector is. As I don't enslave people unless they like, threaten my safety at this point or just want my help~! As I can help people let go and even give them full control while I give them the perks of being mine like I mentioned~ Though it's a 50/50 for my best friends wanting to be under it permanently or not, as life's just so unfair and annoying for most, but I can make it better... some enjoy that hardship for whatever reason however. As these people for example won't even know we were here, them being aware of us would be a danger to us and even themselves at the retaliation that would come for us."

Heed didn't like that response, but these two for whatever reason, she wanted them willingly even if not under partial or any control. Perhaps in their worst moments she saw some form of kinship with them or simply found them useful, it was hard to say with this one as she finished her meal. "Let me know when you're ready to go then. I won't press the issue, but I'll keep in touch. We can talk a bit about me~ My favorite kind of talk if you'd like, but there's not much you won't already find about me online- I have nothing to hide. As I have asked a lot of you both so far, so I think it's fair. It can be anything from what I do, who I am or even what I am," Miss Heed noted, oddly more calm, yet still disconcerting when the cameras were off.

Neftin cringed almost immediately after hearing the little "nickname" Heed had given him for whatever reason. If he'd heard it from a person he knew then he would have been totally okay with it, but from Heed? It just didn't sit right with him. Even so, he had enough sense in himself to mumble back "no thanks I'm good" while Vendra was trying her best to enjoy the dish she had picked out for herself. It wasn't anything too extraordinary, just a little something she had been wanting to try out for a while now, but it wasn't easy for her to eat it. And the reason why? Because, much like her brother, the small Nether wasn't as hungry as she used to be. Being so close to Heed and... whatever the hell Vendra could detect inside of the woman made her feel so, so uncomfortable and nauseous. It almost reminded her of him.

That aside, the twins both had the same exact look of concern written all over their faces after Heed gave them three options - two of which were downright awful in their opinion- to choose from after telling them what she wanted them to do. The person she wanted to go after and... murder. It all felt so wrong in so many ways, heck they both almost said "no" right then and there because of it. Luckily, though, they both knew better than to do that. They had to be careful in their choice of words.

"O-Oh. That's, um, quite a lot to take in." Neftin, as always at this point, was the first one to speak up between the twins after a awkward moment of silence. "It's not easy to decide if we should say yes or no. Sis and I are trying to, y'know, stay out of trouble and not take any more lives after already taking so many in the past. Sure, they guy doing all the collecting and whoever is working for them deserves to be punished for what they did, but... it just doesn't feel right to do that."

"Indeed. It would be nice if we could be given some time to think over the matter before we make up our minds, Heed. After all, there is a lot to take in like my brother just said."

That and being in a place where they felt safe and comfortable would benefit them a lot. It would be easier for them to think over everything if they were far away from Heed.

That expression did warm a little to them, there was a subtle softness under the closed off demeanor, "Hm, thank you, me meow. I didn't expect the welcome wagon set out for me by someone so friendly here right away, but it's appreciated. I suppose it shows the quality I personally did my homework on the residents here. But we shall see if they live up to my expectations in time I suppose." Swirling a vaguely fruity drink, they'd sip it a little, "Are you thirsty?" They'd clap and a little desert mole butler would come out with a drink on a tray for Flask. It appeared to be a tropical smoothie of some kind if Flash wanted it... and wow it was good.

Flask beamed at her new neighbor. "Nice to meet you, Ankha! My name is Flask! Welcome to the village. If you are worried about your clothes, you are lucky, actually. The raining season just passed, so there won't be much mud around for a while." The albino explained.

"I would... My entire life? It's my home village. And thank you for noticing, we have been busy developing it for a while now." The small scientist admitted, choosing to ignore the slightly rude comments. It was probably a very tiring journey for Ankha, so the mouse didn't blame her for being in a bad mood.

"Anyway, feel free to come over if you need anything. I am always happy to help!"

The slayer having a demons neck in its jaws as they turned to the other, Izutsumi could not detect the same permanent aura of malice as they dropped the creature. Her muzzle and upper chest covered in blood, the bow on her neck, the only thing notable she was wearing remained clean somehow. As they wore nothing but the pack and bow on their back that was currently covered in blood. "You smell like a demon but not quite, but lack the aura they cannot turn off. Are you a monster race like an Oni?" They asked Amelia, having no interest in eating this one, though the bodies behind her in these ruins, demons and cultists alike would beg to differ from missing segments in the fray of things. Feline crouching perfectly, they'd stare with their front arms holding themselves up as they kept their claws warped into opposable paws out still. Mostly in case this one turned violent at the sight behind Izu, though at least shifted her jaws back to normal. The Chimera mostly showing they wished to talk at least.

"Yeah! I didn't know what vegetables are safe to eat so I just grabbed all of them! Do any of them look familiar? I washed them even!" Ash would place a table full of vegetables down, each packaged and sealed. A lot of it was edible and familiar, but otherwise seemed for a few of them to be odd or dangerous. "This will keep you alive right?"

Rei blinks awake, gazing at Ash. "Yes, it ... sounds exciting. ... I am sorry. I do not know how to act when excited."

It occurs to her, then, that she has had very little to be excited about in her life, though Rei will sweep that under the rug. There is no use dwelling on what cannot be changed.

"What did you make for breakfast?" Rei asks. "You ... remembered that I do not eat meat, yes?"
