I’m glad that J.K. Rowling has never written about the marauders and that no company has made a marauders film adaptation because 1, it would be boring (and straight) and 2, what’s great about the fandom is that we made the whole thing up. Some names were mentioned once or twice in the book and we gave them full on personalities. Everyone has different opinions on different characters and I think that’s the best part of this.

Hogwarts circa 1975 had one hell of a love dodecahedron going on, let’s see…

Evan is in love with Barty, who was in love with Regulus, who is pining in secret for James, whose pining very loudly for Lily (Pandora and, sigh, Snape are also doing it, just a lot quieter), who in turn is crushing hard on Mary, who is both crushing on Marlene (who is in a heated enemies to lovers arc with Dorcas), and also casually dating Sirius, who is having a sexuality crisis and is having a very complicated will-they-or-won’t-they going on with Remus, who had a summer fling with Grant but is right now just very in love with Sirius and but will not admit it.

The students might not be having a good time, but the teachers were having a GREAT time with the amount of beats they were taking on who would end up with who (McGonagall is all beats off on Jily and WolfStar, Dumbledore officially doesn’t join but he has a soft spot for Jegulus because y’know, Grindledore, and somehow Flitwick ends up winning the most amount of galleons and no one is quite sure how he did it)

James Potter - Half Punjabi from Effie, then a quarter Colombian and a quarter British (the Peverell blood has to come from somewhere) from Monty (Pure-Blood)

Remus Lupin - Jewish and Welsh from Hope, then a quarter Afro-Brazilian and a quarter British from Lyall (Half-Blood, muggle mother, pure-blood father)

Sirius Black - French mostly with a little bit of English blood in there too (Sacred 28 Pure-Blood)

Peter Pettigrew - Mostly British but some German in there as well (Pure-Blood)

Lily Evans - From her mother’s side she is Jewish and Polish, from her father’s she is mostly Irish (Muggle-Born)

Hi my name is Sirius Orion Kanis starlight black the third and I shine like a star (that's how I got my name) I have shining black hair that reaches my mid-back and grey blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like lady stardust (AN: if u don't know who they are get da hell out of here!). I'm not related to James but I wish I was because then Effie could be my real mother from the start. I'm not vampire but my teeth are shining white and I have fabulous hair. I'm also a wizard, and I go to a magic school called Hogwarts in England where I'm in the 3th year (I'm fourteen). I'm super punk rock (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear mostly black. I love Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black shirt and a black leather miniskirt and matching jacket, red fishnets and black combat boots. I was wearing lipgloss, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking outside Hogwarts. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I wasn’t very happy about. A lot of preps stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

"Hey Pads!" shouted a voice. I looked up. It was…. Remus lupin!

"What's up moonbeam?" I asked.

"Nothing." he said shyly.

But then, I heard my other friends call me and I had to go do cool people shit.

When the Potter’s were in hiding, looking for a project, Lily started communicating with some of the best potioneers on notes for the prototype of the Wolfsbane potion. She wanted to find a way to help her best friend, and others like him, and was determined that once she had access to a lab she would perfect the potion. Ultimately though her work had to be finished by someone else, and while Remus would never know it his platonic soulmate had helped to give him one last present from beyond the grave.
