sometimes I think people think "narrative parallels" means "exactly the same" and like...that's not the point, actually, the point with narrative parallels is that they're variations on a theme that are meant to illuminate something about each variation. a narrative parallel that is just a precise reiteration of another thing isn't saying anything. it's just redundant.

Most likely Jeremiah! He worked in the farmfield that his and Aridai's home had, and between that and working with Caleb he always got up sometime before dawn so that he could get his work done. A lot of the time he drug Caleb along, too.

Ironically this is Caleb!! His sleep schedule is nonexistent, and he has horrible insomnia. A lot of the times he has nightmares when he sleeps which makes him afraid to sleep if there's little comfort to be found in reality (which is, unfortunately, in short supply :( )

My main (and longest) story, where in a modern fantasy setting nervous Cambion Elisha is taken captive by two humans who are hellbent into turning him into their pet, and all of the shenanigans that follow. Main vibes are pet whump, nsfwhump (clearly marked/tagged), creepy/intimate whump, and various flavors of torture.

oh I wasn’t aware it was feeding the ai. I’ve inserted hundreds of fics into chatgpt for their continuation or for a different plot within the same context just for fun and out of curiosity… but I’ve never posted any of them…

Indeed, anything that is given to AI it can use later to draw from. That's why it doesn't matter if you post them or not as it has now access to those writers' texts without their permission.
