all the dishes in this manga and they won't let him cook

i like that so far (i'm on volume 9), kabru is frequently posed as the potentially manipulative, sly sort of guy with his own agenda, and he clearly is very observant and intelligent, but my man just. cannot catch a break long enough to actually deploy any of it towards his goals. unless we count flying under the radar of laios "autism knight" touden, and even that backfired on him. cursed to wretched omelettes by his own peacekeeping temperament. kabru is trying to heroically machinate in his corner of the story, but he keeps getting outclassed by superhuman bullshit or put in Situations with people who are the exact flavor of socially oblivious to cancel out his attempts at subtlety

shiloh lore from his extremely old comics:

the pendant on his neck is a "special seal" and the symbol "has a secret meaning and purpose" ("but what does it do?" / "i dunno")

he was created on may 8th, 2011

he doesn't know why his shirt is "designed that way"

his tail (supposedly) does not interfere with his balance

his hair antenna is the source of his handsomeness. it is his "special radar" that he uses to "sense danger" (lie) and "look handsome" (true)

his night vision is better than most people's, but still not that good

he's an omnivore

other clothing he has: a purple I♥NY shirt (a shirt i owned in real life)

he lives "right over there"

he does not know why his name is shiloh or who gave him that name or what his species is

he's kind of clumsy and he gets sad if you call his face creepy

i like that when laios is Being Laios, the others do their whole Get A Load Of This Guy Cam routine in their straight man corner, but then when he's insufficiently weird about something, they're like "laios, are you ok? you've barely infodumped about the unique properties of this monster... don't you want to fantasize about what it tastes like...?"
