Chapter Five: Nothin' To Lose
Beth nervously stepped off the elevator onto her employer’s floor. Dominque, dressed as scantily as ever, her blond locks pulled back into a tight bun atop her head giving her an eyelift she so desperately needed. “Look who decided to show up.” She rolled her eyes at the younger female. Deciding to be the bigger person Beth bit her tongue as she walked past about to push open the door into Wicked Lester’s office. To her surprise, the door was locked. “Oh, you won’t need to go in there.”
“Why? Am I finally fired?”
"Regrettably, no," Dominque replied with a grumble, sifting through the clutter on her desk. "He left you some documents. Given Mr. Blackwell's untimely demise yesterday, he wants to ensure the next in line is well-informed." This revelation sent a shiver down Beth's spine. She had no desire to follow in the footsteps of the unfortunate Mr. Blackwell, surely destined for a one-way trip through some unholy portal. "You best get on with it." Beth accepted the documents and hurriedly departed the office, making her exit from the building as swiftly as possible. Unbeknownst to her, a pair of piercing emerald eyes watched her every move.
After a while, Beth had crossed the first few things off her list as her thoughts about her date with Paul later that day returned to her. She smiled like a drunken fool to herself, he was quite the looker despite what any of the polished business people on the subway this morning might’ve thought. He seemed nice enough too, certainly quite the charmer, but part of her wondered if jumping at the chance of a date with a random stranger on the train was such a good idea. After all, she would be blowing Ace off this evening as a result of it. She kicked a stone up the pavement as she mulled everything over. She had however told him that she might stop by if she could, so it wasn’t a total blow-off in actuality.
Beth sighed as she stood on a street corner waiting to cross to the delicatessen across the way, she let out a surprised gasp as she felt something brush up against her leg. Her eyes darted down to see a grey tabby cat rubbing its head up against her. It let out a quiet meow as it glanced up at her with piercingly bright emerald eyes. Beth let out a breath of relief once realising it was, in fact, not a rat. “You scared me, little kitty.” She laughed before crossing the road. She made quick work of picking up a sandwich to bring with her to eat later before returning to the street, finding the cat sitting there waiting for her. “I’m not going to give you anything, little one, so run along.” She tried to explain to the cat, but it just cocked its head at her meowing once again. Beth rolled her eyes before continuing on with her work.
It was hours before she was able to take her lunch, and throughout every errand, every train, every cab she took, the grey cat continued to follow her. What it saw in her or what it wanted was beyond her, it’s not like she was giving it food or anything. She was surprised that it hadn’t lost interest yet. Beth sighed as she sat down on a bench in Central Park. It felt good to get off her feet for a little even if it was just to eat the deli sandwich. There was always something nice about the park, the fact that there was something this peaceful and serene in the centre of a bustling metropolis was a god sent. It helped her forget about how busy her own life was for even just a few minutes and it brought her back to reality, back to nature. Just seeing the squirrels and birds hanging about was calming enough to keep her from spiralling down the rabbit hole of her mind. Even as New York City proceeded to chug ahead at blinding speed, life still continued here at its own pace.
Beth unwrapped the sandwich and was about to bite into it when she felt something brush up against her again. She jumped ever so slightly and turned to see those same glistening emerald eyes staring back at her. “Well, you certainly are persistent.!” She laughed. “Following me, all day.” The cat meowed as if responding, making her giggle. “I bet you’re hungry aren’t you?” She asked, breaking off a little piece of pastrami. “I don’t think cold cuts are good for kitties but here’s a little something for you. Think you’ve earned it, by now.” The cat meowed again, happily taking the pastrami from her. Beth turned back to her sandwich only to find another two solid black felines in front of her staring back at her with their forest green eyes. “What’s next, a tiger?” She asked no one in particular.
“Careful what you wish for, they do have a tiger in the zoo over there after all.” A male’s voice chuckled next to her, making her jump ever so slightly. She hadn’t noticed a man in a black leather jacket and sunglasses had taken up residence on the bench next to her. “Sorry didn’t mean to scare you.” He apologised, reaching out to stroke the back of the grey tabby cat. “These three with you then?”
“Never seen them before in my life.” She laughed trying to shoo away the cats in front of her. “Go on then, I’m sure there’s mice to be caught somewhere.” The cats continued to stare at her before glancing up at the man as if silently asking him what they should do.
Had she been paying attention, Beth would’ve seen the man jerk his head off to the side ever so slightly as if saying ‘get outta here’. The two black cats meowed in response before scampering off into one of the nearby bushes, only the grey tabby cat stayed. “Looks like they got the message.” He chuckled as he sat down the grey cat climbing into his lap with a purr. “Though this little guy seems like he'd rather stay.” He grumbled, seemingly annoyed. The man looked up at her with a small smile. “I’m Peter by the way. Peter Criss.”
“Nice to meet you,” Beth said rather flatly before biting into her sandwich, she only had so much time to eat before she had to get back to work, and having someone there pestering her was only going to take away from what little time she had.
He rolled his eyes, a smirk at the corner of his lips. “You know when someone introduces themselves the polite thing is usually to introduce yourself back.” Peter pointed out as the cat meowed as if agreeing. “I know right?” He laughed.
Beth raised an eyebrow at the man, he must’ve been one of the Central Park weirdos. “You know when someone is clearly trying to enjoy their lunch break, the polite thing is usually to leave them be.” She chastised him, mimicking his phrase.
“Feisty are we?” Peter laughed. “I like that in a woman. Just like a panther. The most majestic and mysterious of the cats.”
“Is this your idea of flirting?” She asked with a raised brow. “Because it’s kind of shit.”
“Well you’ve got to admit, I’ve got nothin’ to lose.” He shrugged. “Judging by how you’re dressed I’d say you’re a personal assistant, am I right?” She nodded as she bit into her sandwich again. Peter chuckled ever so slightly. “You’d never catch me running that rat race of office work.”
“And let me guess, you live with these three here in the park.”
Peter laughed again. “Well that would be the obvious answer but actually no. I’m a drummer in a pretty successful band actually.”
“Well if it’s successful why don’t I know you?”
“I’m sure you would if I said the name, but I’m incognito at the moment.” He placed a finger to his lips as if trying to indicate it was a secret. “So how about you then woman? You looking for a change of pace at all? Guy like me, I could show you a good time. Have for countless others”
Beth glanced at the cat, it stared at her as if waiting for her response as well which freaked her out a little. “Well, you obviously can’t take a hint. The answer is no, I’ve no interest in being another notch in your bedpost, assuming you even have one.” Beth groaned, wrapping up her sandwich. “So you stay here with your little cat buddy and I’ll just go find another bench or something.”
“I’ll go, you were here first.” He said as the grey tabby cat got up and ran off into the bushes. He stood, hands deep in the pockets of his leather jacket. “On one condition.”
Beth rolled her eyes with a silent groan. “What?” She scoffed.
“Just tell me your name. Or should I just call you sexy cat woman?” Peter winked. “Maybe just ‘She’ it’s shorter after all.”
“It’s Beth. Alright, bye now.” She grumbled getting her sandwich out once again.
Peter chuckled again. “Beth huh? Think I like ‘Shandi’ more.”
“Yeah well when I want your opinion I’ll ask for it, now fuck off.”
“Deal’s a deal I guess. I’ll see ya around then, Beth.” Peter nodded before walking off. The three cats emerged from the bushes to follow him as if acting as his posse.
Beth shook her head and went back to her sandwich. It was around twenty minutes later when the dread of having to get back to work on her latest fetch quest settled into her. She began walking down the path toward 5th Avenue, the same path that passed Central Park Zoo. What Peter had said about the cats seemingly stalking her, and the tiger lurking somewhere within the walls of the zoo sent a shiver up her spine. But there was no need to be afraid, right? Surely the tiger was locked up tight. Beth took a moment to glance over her shoulder, she breathed a sigh of relief seeing no tiger. Then again, she didn’t see a soul. Not a single solitary person in any direction. It was like she had walked into an alternate dimension where she was the only person in all of Manhatten. Beth couldn’t shake the feeling that something weird was going to happen before she turned her gaze forward. She stopped dead in her tracks in the middle of the path stood a large…creature. It had a lust for blood in its eyes. Her blood.

Chapter Four: Turn On The Night
Light crept in the half-broken blinds onto his right eye. If it were the sun or the streetlights right outside he was unsure. Slowly his chestnut eyes fluttered open staring blankly at the ceiling. He took a deep breath rubbing his calloused hands over his chiselled features as life slowly crept back into his body. His body ached as he sat up out of the rickety bed, each vertebra cracking as it sat atop the one beneath it. He looked to his right seeing the blonde hair of his latest fling sprawled across the pillow. She was pretty good looking and it had been pretty decent sex, but good god had this one been annoying, nothing but a pillow princess leaving him to do all the work. At the end of the day, sex was sex to him, but even he liked to be taken care of sometimes. Meticulously, he stood so as not to disturb her. Waking her up would be sentencing him to the hell that was her shrill voice. With how his head pounded this morning, he couldn’t bear to listen to that again. What time is it anyhow? He asked himself as he scanned the room. He caught sight of the clock that sat on the female’s bedside table, 6:06, much too early for him normally, but if he didn’t get out now he never would. He quickly collected his clothes from the floor and tip-toed his way out into the living room where he dressed quickly before silently letting himself out.
It was a cool morning, and the streets were already bustling with life even at this early hour of the morning. New York never slept, but good god did he want to right then and there. If it were up to him he would’ve rolled out of bed at the last possible moment before heading over to Elektra in the village, but he desperately didn’t want another moment with the girl he had seduced at the bar last night. Talk about short-term gain with that one. He rolled his eyes to himself as the memories of the previous evening came back to him. He was a sex addict and needed it more than he needed to breathe, but he had yet to sleep with anybody who really set his soul on fire. Now that had to feel good. His member twitched beneath his black velvet bell bottoms. “Easy man, don’t go gettin’ yourself riled up this early in the mornin’.” He grumbled to himself as he shoved his hands into his coat pockets pulling out his wallet as he walked into a coffee shop.
The nearly deserted coffee shop pleased him, the fewer people he had to deal with this early the better. Coffee now in hand he took back out to the street heading for the closest subway. He had left his guitar at Elektra the previous evening so he could make a nice makeshift cot out of the sound booth’s couch until the rest of the group arrived. He was just about to descend the steps into New York’s underworld when the blue-black hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. Something was off. The musician looked up scanning the crystal clear sky for anything out of the ordinary. He walked off 174 St and into Crotona Park before he saw it. Like a beacon shooting up into the sky in wondrous colours of purple, blue, green, red, and every other colour in between, glistening into the sky like stardust. That was it! That was the sign he had been looking for! It was She!
He groaned to himself as realisation set in as he scanned his surroundings. Using his abilities was out of the question, there were too many people around, and he, unfortunately, couldn’t teleport like Spaceman could. By the looks of it, She was somewhere off in the West Bronx. There was no way in hell he would ever get close before the starlight surely disappeared. He sighed as he turned on his heel heading back to 174 St down to the platform for the number 5 train. At least now they maybe had a general idea of where She might be. The musician lowered his sunglasses as he descended the stairs to the subway station.
Even for this early hour of the morning, the trains were already starting to pack full of businessmen and women making their way into downtown Manhattan for the start of their respective work days. Mixed amongst the others in their smart business suits and dresses, he was rather out of place. Most would go as far as to call him a bum despite being in a rather successful band. Nobody would ever look past his ‘deadbeat musician’ exterior. He didn’t care, so what if they laughed at the way he was dressed, he liked the clothes he wore, they were as in line as he could get with what was popular over in London at the moment anyway. He sighed, rolling his eyes behind his glasses as a woman pointed at him to her friend with a grimace. Let ‘em stare, he thought to himself, just means they want you.
He turned his head as the doors opened at 149 St - Grand Concourse Station. He felt the energy in the car shift ever so slightly promoting the musician to look to his right. He lowered his glasses ever so slightly, catching sight of a beautiful woman, dressed smartly in a black blazer and pencil skirt paired with a red button-up blouse. Her ebony hair hung in loose waves around her face perfectly framing her. She wore a light amount of makeup drawing all attention to the twinkle of starlight in her chocolate eyes. She was absolutely stunning. She was absolutely the kind of girl that everyone wanted, and apparently Ace did too given the blue sparks that trailed off her hair like shooting stars into the stuffy train car. He knew he wanted her more and he was certainly going to try, after all, he had everything she needed, and he was a creature of pure passion. He watched her as she got closer and closer until the flow of bodies landed her pressed up against him.
She looked up at the man, he was easily pushing six feet, and he had the most intense but inviting chestnut gaze she had ever seen. His eyes shone with a certain fire in them, a fire of passion, desire, drive, and determination. There was something extremely intriguing about him, and it was intoxicating. She smiled at him, a slight blush creeping on her cheeks. Before she even thought about opening her mouth the train came to a sudden screeching halt lurching anybody who was standing in the direction of travel. She stumbled forward into his chest where she got a heavy whiff of his cologne mixed with the potent stench of alcohol mixed with coffee. It was intoxicating as she embarrassedly looked up to meet his gaze, he released the bar above his head as he helped her to steady herself. “At least let me buy you a drink before you go throwin’ yourself at me like that.” He chuckled. “There you are.” He smirked, keeping his hands on her hips.
“Sorry. I just couldn’t resist, had to shoot my shot.” She laughed coyly.
“Well if you hadn’t I certainly would’ve.” He smirked. “And just what might your name be, little lady?”
“Beth Strutter.” The name fell from her ruby lips like sweet melted caramel. So this was the same Beth from the previous evening he had been itching to undress. Now that he had the opportunity to get a good look at her, what a great night he would’ve had with her. She looked like she knew her way around the bedroom, especially on her knees. He smirked at the thought as he mentally shook out his head like he was erasing an etch-a-sketch. This was the girl they suspected of carrying the Elder’s enchanted starlight after all, the last thing he needed to do was make her hate him when he was sworn to protect her at all costs, assuming she was the Elder’s avatar after all. “You got a fancy name to go with those fancy clothes of yours?” She asked with a giggle as the train slowly restarted its trek toward Manhattan.
“Paul Stanley. Pretty plain if you ask me, but I’d say it suits me.” He chuckled. “So where’s a pretty little thing like you off to this early in the morning?”
“My boss is a bit…particular about my being on time.” Ah yes, the devil boss, how could he have forgotten. Well, she seemed to be doing well today at least after the state he had seen her in the previous evening, not that she knew anything about that. Paul was glad that she wasn’t more traumatised. “What about you? You coming or going?”
“Bit of both really, I’m a wanderer.” Paul snickered ever so slightly. “On my way to The Village actually, got a long day ahead and not much sleep behind.”
“Sounds like a real problem you’ve got there.”
“Can’t say I feel very good right now, but I know of a way I could,” Paul smirked at the woman as more people crowding onto the train pushed him even closer to the unsuspecting female.
Beth tried to swallow the lump of desire that was steadily building in her throat. “And what might that be?”
“If you join me for a drink or two later.” He winked smirking as her face turned every shade of crimson possible. “Come on baby, let’s see if we can make some sparks ignite later. Whatchya say?”
Beth gently bit the inside of her lip as she mulled over her options. Ace had asked her to come over tonight after all, but Paul was so captivating, she wasn’t sure if she could resist. She had to be quick though as she heard her stop being announced on the speakers above as the next one. “Sure, why not?” She smiled up at the musician who was silently cheering, if he played his cards right they’d know by the end of the evening if she was Shandi.
“Excellent. Shall we say The Dynasty at eight then?”
“It’s a date.” She smiled warmly at Paul as the train stopped at her station. “Well this is my stop, I’ll see you later then, Paul.”
He smirked and waved her off as she disappeared into the crowd. And just like that his plan was in motion, one way or another she was going to be his this evening. “Punching a bit above your weight there, aren’t ya?” A random businessman beneath him reading the paper snickered
“Fuck off.”

Chapter Three: When Lightning Strikes
Beth awoke the next morning feeling more relaxed and refreshed than she had in a long time. It was as if her inner demons had been stripped away from her in the night. She hadn’t a care in the world as she snuggled in closer to her pillow which felt even more comfortable than usual. It took her all of two seconds to realise that her pillow was breathing. Beth’s chocolate eyes shot open to catch sight of Ace’s bare chest where her head lay. His breathing was slow, shallow, and even, she didn’t have to look up to know that he was still sleeping. The last thing she wanted to do was disturb him, especially after all that he had done for her the previous evening. It certainly had been a shit storm of a day, and the fact that the dark clouds didn’t continue to hang over her head was a surprise to the female. Even knowing that she would certainly struggle to cover up that unsightly bruise on her face did little to put a damper on her tranquillity. Usually, when a day as shit as yesterday occurred, it was a few days before her mind would allow the sun to shine again for her, but this time things were different, and she was almost certain it was because she had Ace to lean on for support this time. What else could it have been? It’s not like mystical beings from another world blessed her or something while she lay dormant during the night.
Beth felt Ace’s grip around her waist tighten ever so slightly as he let out a yawn. “Mornin’ Dollface.” He groaned as he stretched, his voice two octaves deeper with sleep still fresh upon him. “How’re ya feelin’ this mornin’?”
“Much better than last night.” She sighed sleepily burying her face into his chest. “Thank you for everything, Ace. I really owe you one.”
“Hey, ain’t nothin’. I’m just glad you’re okay after all ya went through.” He said as he ran a hand through her long dark hair. “But if ya wanted to repay me with like a kiss or something for your knight in shining armour, ya know, I wouldn’t say no to that.” He chuckled slightly.
“Well, I suppose that could be arranged.” She smirked leaning up to plant a gentle kiss on Ace’s cheek. Ace smiled like a drunken fool as the feel of his electricity jolted through his cheek. He pulled the girl in even tighter to him where he continued to gently stroke her hair. He let a few of his blue sparks spread through her locks as he placed a seal of protection around her. It wouldn’t do anything to keep physical harm at bay, but it would keep this ‘Wicked Lester’ or any of the Destroyer’s other cronies on Earth from placing any curses upon the poor girl. He couldn’t find any traces of the mind control hex he had sensed last night within her energy signal.
In fact, he couldn’t sense any kind of negativity within her today. The Demon had done well removing the demons from within her, freeing her mind from any and all corruption. “Nobody deserves to get struck by their boss. I’m sure there’s a lawsuit in there somewhere if ya wanna sue him for everything he’s got.”
The female let out a small laugh as she yawned. “I’m sure you’re right, but whatever it is he’s got, I’m almost certain I don’t want it.” She giggled, mainly referring to whatever strange demonic-like power it was that Wicked Lester possessed.
Ace chuckled slightly. “Can’t say I blame ya.” He groaned with a scornful scowl as Beth sat up and stretched. He immediately followed wrapping his arms around the brunette before pulling her back down onto the bed with him. “And just where do ya think you’re goin’? The sun’s not even up yet.”
“Ace!” She laughed nuzzling her head into his chest again for a moment. She let out a sigh of defeat. “I have to be getting on back to mine to get ready for work.”
“You don’t ‘have to’ anything. Play hooky.”
“What are we? Kids cutting school?”
“We could be.” He laughed letting her go, realising there was going to be no way to convince her to stay for him to undress her and have some fun. “Alright….If you must.” He sighed dramatically. “But come back over tonight if you can, yea?”
She smiled at the man laying next to her as she stood. “I can’t make any promises but I’ll certainly try, my Spaceman.” She winked using the name she had called him last night, not realising its significance to him. Ace shuddered ever so slightly as it felt like a bolt of electricity went flying through him at the sound of his true name leaving her lips. The sound of it was like a flash of light that electrified his heart and soul. If it were the potential cosmic powers within her or the throbbing desire to have her that made him feel this way, he was too tired to say.
Ace smirked as she stood up, leaning up to reveal his shirtless chest under the misty grey sheets of his bed. “Well just so you know, lightning’s gonna strike tonight, right here in this apartment. I don’t think you’re gonna wanna miss it.”
“Well then in that case I’ll see what I can do.” She said as she moved to take off the hoodie she was still wearing from the previous evening.
“Nah don’t.” He stopped her. “Keep it for now, it suits you better anyway.”
Beth blushed every shade of crimson as she pulled up the hood, the hardwood floors beneath her feet sending a chill through her body. “Thanks.” She smiled at the Spaceman. “I’ll hopefully see you later.”
“Welp, ya know where to find me.” He winked watching as she left the room.
Beth was none too pleased with having to get into her apartment via the fire escape so early in the morning, a cold one at that, but she found comfort in Ace’s hoodie wrapped loosely around her. It felt like a big hug from him, especially since it smelled like him. Vanilla creme mixed with notes of sandalwood, and lilac. It pained her to strip it off to get in the shower once the water had heated up. The warmth of the water cascading down her bare skin sent a wave of electrifying energy through her. She sighed letting it absorb into every cell in her body as she slowly washed herself of the sins from the day before.
Nextdoor Ace glanced at his clock before staring blankly at his ceiling once again. 06:18. The arcane magics and holistic science’s all grappling for a spot in his head were working overtime as the faint spark of the Elder’s energy tapped at his mind. The usual pang he felt every morning was a little late today, but whoever this person was that contained the enchanted starlight must’ve been having a groggy morning just like he was. He lay there wondering if Beth really might be the one they had been looking for high and low for years now. There was no sure way to rule her completely out just by speculating, but if she really did contain the starlight, why couldn’t his magics detect it? Why couldn’t Starchild’s eye see it? Why couldn’t Catman hear it? And why couldn’t the Demon believe it? “‘Shandi’ will help you lay waste to the Destroyer once and for all. Stop him before he destroys any other world.” The Elder’s final words rang through his mind. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him.
Ace rolled onto his side with a groan as he plopped his pillow down on his head. For once in his life, he wished that the madness that encapsulated his brain would stop for just five minutes so he could lay in peace. “We’re trying Elder. We really are. I know you’re out there. Please, just give us a sign. Help us out a little.” He pleaded to the starlight, he knew his efforts were futile but at this point, the Spaceman was willing to give anything a try. “There are so many beings in this Universe…let us find ya again so we can save this world and rebuild our own.” Ace grimaced as he felt another harsh pop of the starlight’s energy shoot through his head as if answering him. But as quickly as the signature registered, it disappeared leaving the Spaceman with a dizzying sense of whiplash. “Well, then, ya ask a deity for help.” He grumbled reaching his hand beneath the pillow to rub at his eyes, trying desperately to steady his spinning head for just a moment to reorient himself. He had time to go back to sleep until he had to be at the studio today, but with the magics making his life a particularly worse living hell than usual this morning, he was sure sleep wouldn’t come again so easily, at least until this ‘She’ person was finished getting ready this morning. “From a far-off galaxy, I hear you calling me.” He closed his eyes, silently begging the forces in his mind to let him sleep a little while longer before resuming his duties.
Beth stepped out of the shower and quickly wrapped herself in a towel, feeling even more awake and refreshed than she had been before if that was even possible. She padded her way out of the bathroom into her bedroom where she flipped on the television set to the morning news. “Two days ago, Frederick Blackwell of Blackwell Shipping was reported missing by his family.” A news anchor reported. “Authorities have found no evidence of foul play but refuse to completely rule it out. Police are urging anybody with any information regarding the whereabouts of Blackwell to come forward. Now over to Harold for the weather…” The anchor continued as Beth drowned them out walking to her closet to find her outfit for the day.
“I could tell you what happened but you’d never believe me.” She muttered to herself. Frederick Blackwell was a horrible man, and being mixed up with Wicked Lester only solidified that status in her mind. Horrible or not, however, nobody deserved the kind of punishment that Lester deemed worthy over whatever crime he committed against him. Beth sighed silently as she pulled a black blazer and matching pencil skirt out of the closet along with a red button-up blouse to wear for the day. The last thing she wanted to do was dress too skanky today after what happened the previous day. She just hoped that things would cool down rather quickly, and that nobody was going to notice the unsightly blemish on her face. “Right…I’ve got to cover that thing…”
After getting dressed, Beth dragged herself back across the hall to the bathroom mirror before wiping the condensation that had collected upon the glass from the steam off. It took less than half a second for the female to realise there was no bruise on her face. “No way…” She breathed. Thinking it was a trick of the wet, steamy mirror, she raced into the bedroom to her full-length mirror where, to her surprise, the bruise and any and all swelling had completely vanished as if Wicked Lester had never laid a hand upon her. “But how…?” She asked her reflection as if it would answer her. Beth was in utter shock. She was almost certain when she saw her reflection in Ace’s bathroom mirror last night before bed that she had the shadows of Lester’s rage upon her cheekbone. But her porcelain skin lay as fresh as newly fallen snow. The female was absolutely flabbergasted, there was no physical way this was possible. Then again, she had seen a man get sent through a pentagram-shaped portal into the underworld yesterday, so at this point, she was ready to believe in anything. Either it was her lucky day, or lightning had struck earlier than Ace had anticipated.

Chapter Two: Almost Human
Ace had Beth stay the night to make sure she was going to be okay. He was worried that this ‘Wicked Lester’, as she called him, might’ve done something more to her than she knew. A human bestowed power by the destroyer surely had no idea how to fully control it. Any potential side effects of the contact that Lester made with her were surely going to show during the night if at all. Ace looked down at the female sleeping peacefully beside him. He ran a hand over her cheekbone smiling softly at the fading bruise. The bit of cosmic energy he let fall from himself to her had already begun to work its magic. Most of the swelling disappeared within the first hour she had been asleep, and at this rate, the injury would be but a distant memory by morning. Ace looked down at his hands as he sat up. The arcane magics and holistic sciences all grappling for a place within the Spaceman’s head were desperately trying to figure all of this out, more importantly, why it felt that the Elder’s energy was so close yet so far. He felt a surge of that power every day early in the morning before the sun came up for a few minutes but he could never pinpoint from exactly where. With Beth laying next to him tonight he could swear that he could hear a crackle of the elder’s magic speaking to him, but then again that very well could’ve been his ‘other head’ talking to him. He hoped that the others were doing better than he was.
Ace rose from the bed, silently padding his way out to the living room. This couldn’t wait until morning. He stood in the centre of the room, gripping both hands into fists before closing his eyes. Ace was encased with a blue flash of light, his normal starry-eyed bedazzled Spaceman appearance taking hold. With another flash of light, the Spaceman found himself in the Bergen Street Lower-Level Platform once again. Spaceman sat on the edge of the platform concentrating for a few moments before one by one his colleagues appeared. Starchild was first as he stretched with a yawn. A very tired and annoyed-looking Demon followed with a grumble. Finally, a passed out on the floor Catman joined the group. “There better be a good reason this couldn’t wait until morning, Ace,” Starchild muttered as he wiped the sleep from his eyes.
Demon stood grimacing at the peaceful Catman. As much as he wished he was doing the same at the moment, he was more annoyed than anything that he could sleep through all of this. “Get up you lazy asshole!” He yelled, kicking the Cat.
Catman yowled, claws jetting out from his fingertips as he made a move to swipe at his attacker before realising who it was. “Oh Gene, it’s just you. I thought it was somebody important.”
“Now listen here you…” Demon grumbled getting in the Catman’s face before the Spaceman’s blue magics forced the two of them apart.
“Enough. We’re just as tired as the two of you, now if you would just stop bickering we can get back to bed sooner. This meeting of the Order of the Rose will come to order.” Starchild grumbled as he stepped between the two of them.
“Fine.” They both muttered.
“What’s this all about anyway?” The demon raised an eyebrow as he crossed his arms across his armour-clad chest.
“The Destroyer. He’s here, on Earth.” Spaceman replied with a worried look in his eye. The three before him stiffened very slightly at the news. “Or rather his power is here.”
“How is this possible?!?!” Catman yowled as he ran his claws through his dark hair.
“You’re sure it’s him?” Demon raised an eyebrow at the starry-eyed man before him.
“Twenty-five earth years on this planet trying to find the Elder’s avatar and this is the first time you’ve come across his power. Why now? How did you find out?” Starchild continued the questioning.
“Beth. My neighbour. Her employer is an agent of the destroyer, bestowed with his power.” The Spaceman informed them as he recalled Beth’s story to them.
“Shit, I can’t believe that a mere human has control over a power like that.” Catman looked down kicking at a rock. “She’s alright, yeah? Beth?”
“Yeah, I had her spend the night with me to make sure she was alright. I could sense that some of Wicked Lester’s magic entered her. Feels like a mind control hex was hoping you might be able to pull it from her Gene…” The Spaceman trailed off as he looked down the abandoned tunnel. “That’s not all either.”
“Don’t tell me. You found the mythical ‘Shandi’ too, didn’t you?” Demon retorted, rolling his eyes.
The four stood around the Spaceman’s bed glancing down at Beth as she slept peacefully. “What makes you so sure it’s her?” Demon asked as the Catman sniffed at the air trying to see if he came up with whiffs of the arcane magics that supposedly possessed her.
“I’m not entirely sure but I just sensed something when I felt the tug of the hex within her. The energy surge just felt so similar to that of the Elder’s.” Spaceman explained. “See for yourself.” He gestured to her glancing at the Starchild.
“Wait.” Demon stopped him. “Lemme remove the hex first. Last thing we need is it bouncing off onto you.” He grumbled before he began to chant in a language foreign to the other three. His eyes turned completely dark as he thrust a hand toward Beth. The others looked on as a crimson mist rose from her lips into the Demon’s mouth. He bit down harshly before blood poured from his mouth. The demon smirked as he closed his eyes, licking at the blood as he opened them, revealing their normal state once more.
“Is hex removal always this gory?” Catman grimaced.
“Only the extremely demonically potent ones.” Demon chuckled. “This Wicked Lester, as you call him, has quite a connection to the Demonic powers the Destroyer possesses.”
Starchild looked down at Beth’s sleeping form. He let out a breath as he closed his eyes. When he opened them, a purple beam shot out from his star-covered eye and scanned over the female from head to toe. Catman sat on the edge of the bed closing his eyes as if he were listening for something. “So is it her?” Demon asked, he was so anxious to get off this planet and kick some Destroyer ass especially after devouring that curse.
The beam retracted back into the Starchild’s eye as he finished his examination. “I don’t know, there’s definitely something different about her energy signature compared to the average human, but I don’t think it's ‘Elder’ equivalent. And even if it is, it’s very weak. No guarantees it’s coming from her, could be the remaining fallout from the Elder himself on your totem you’re sensing. Or maybe others from Khyscz came here before us and she’s a descendant.” Starchild concluded his analysis of the female.
“I don’t know Paul…” Catman grumbled as his head twitched ever so slightly, his brows furrowing in annoyance at the high-pitched whirring sound he picked up on. “I can hear the crackling of the Elder’s Starlight nearby. It always had such a distinct sound, nothing like it in all the cosmos. And the scent of it is quite potent as well.”
“There’s no way to know for sure, but it’s our best lead on Shandi’s location since we got here.” Demon grumbled looking at the girl’s sleeping form. “Twenty-five long damned years….”
“That’s only a year to us, though you’re right, Gene. For now, we’ll keep tabs on this girl…” Starchild started.
“Beth.” Spaceman corrected.
“Whatever, we’ll keep tabs on Beth for the time being while we continue our search. If she shows any signs of possessing the starlight, we’ll be ready to help her harness her true power.”
“So now we’re babysitting?” Demon rolled his eyes. “We’re Rock ‘n Roll stars, Cosmic Guards, and councilmen for the Order of the Rose, do we really have time for this?”
“For the time being, yes.” Starchild scolded.
“Shockingly, I’m with Gene on this one Paul.” The Catman spoke up. “We can’t just be going around thinking someone is the Elder’s avatar. There has to be a way we can be sure or a way we can check at least.”
“I’m not entirely sure, this would’ve been in the ancient texts in the Elder’s library back on Kyhscz, for obvious reasons we can’t go back there…” Starchild wondered aloud as he looked down at Beth’s sleeping form.
Spaceman, always sensitive to the cosmic energies, offered his perspective. "We need to be careful. If she truly possesses the Enchanted Starlight, exposure to cosmic forces might awaken her abilities before she’s ready. We need to look for opportunities where her connection can naturally reveal itself."
Demon, the most pragmatic of the group, chimed in. "But we can't just wait around indefinitely. We need a plan, and we need to ensure that she's the real deal. Maybe we can subtly expose her to cosmic events or artifacts associated with the Enchanted Starlight to see if she reacts. If she is Shandi, it might trigger something within her."
Catman nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, but we have to be careful not to overwhelm her. We need to guide her, not scare her off."
Demon couldn't help but voice his concerns once more. "I still can't believe we're doing this. It's like we're placying cosmic detectives."
Catman let out a chuckle. “Cosmic Scooby-Doo.” Spaceman couldn’t help but let out a laugh himself. Their laughs were silenced as Demon let out a deep throated demonic growl. “Sorry…”
Starchild offered a reassuring nod. "We're navigating uncharted territory. The cosmos is full of mysteries, and we have a duty to uncover them.” Starchild's words resonated with the group, reaffirming their shared mission and the importance of their roles as cosmic protectors. They knew that the path ahead was filled with challenges and uncertainties, but their commitment to uncovering the cosmic mysteries remained unwavering. The four looked down at the sleeping female, blissfully unaware that her entire life was about to turn upside down in the most rock n’ roll way possible. “Beth's destiny and the fate of Khyscz rest in our hands."

Chapter One: Tears are Falling
25 Earth years - Equivlant 1 Kyhscz year later. New York City, New York. 12 May 1976.
Beth Strutter scurried down 57th Street desperately trying to get to her boss’ office to end her day. She had been sent on a fetch quest today that involved walking the streets of lower Manhattan for the last five hours. She was pretty sure that by the time she got home tonight, her feet would probably detach from her body, even still, that wouldn’t be the worst thing that happened today if it did. She had dropped her coffee only minutes after buying it, a rat brushed up against her leg as she waited for the C train, and she hadn’t had any time to stop for a meal. Cheer up Beth, the day can’t get much worse... She sighed to herself as she stood waiting for the crosswalk. As if she were being punished by the universe, the heavens decided to open up at that exact moment in a torrential downpour. Beth groaned as she accepted the fact that she was going to be drenched by the time she got back, unable to reach her umbrella due to the bags upon bags she carried in her arms.
By the time she entered her employer’s office, she closely resembled the appearance of a drowned cat. “Well then, you certainly look like you had a good day.” Heather, the receptionist, mocked with a sly grin.
Beth rolled her eyes as she pushed into her employer’s office with a grumble. “Beth.” Lester McGee’s voice rang out from his desk. “About time you return.” Among the many, many personal assistants that Lester had accumulated over the years, Beth was the latest model. It’s not that the assistants ever hated their jobs, they hated Lester with a burning passion. He was greedy, impatient, and overall plain wicked. This was how he gained the nickname amongst the previous assistants as ‘Wicked Lester’. Fitting that a man such as Lester would receive a nickname that resembled that of an old school mob boss, he essentially was one, always surrounded by his cronies, pinstriped suits and overly greasy slicked back hair. Most suspected that he had connections regarding some of his more questionable transactions over the years, but none dared defy him lest they felt the wrath of Lester. Beth had unfortunately, unlike the others, witnessed quite a few of Lester’s acts of questionable legality, so she felt trapped. People who opposed ‘Wicked Lester’ disappeared. “And in such a state nonetheless.”
“My apologies Mr McGee, there was a bit of a cloud burst and I couldn’t…” Beth tried to reason.
“I don’t want your excuses, Beth.” Lester barked as he stood from his desk, his cronies around the room letting out a snicker. “You know the company policy. What if our clients were to see you in such a state.” He growled as he stalked across the room toward her. “What kind of an image are we presenting with…this.” He spat gesturing to her as he circled her. “Then again perhaps it's an image I could learn to appreciate.” He smirked sickly. Beth followed his gaze to land on her cleavage which was very much so hanging further out than what society deemed workplace appropriate. Beth bit the inside of her lip as she pulled up the front of her shirt to cover herself as Lester’s scowl returned to his face.
“Mr McGee I…”
“Silence.” He commanded, Beth quickly looked down to show that she remembered her place. “Now did you receive the package from Mr Blackwell?”
“Yes sir, it’s in one of the bags.” Lester snapped his fingers and two of his cronies stepped forward to rip the bags from her hands. “Sorry, sir…” She bowed her head, scared to look her employer in the eye.
“Oh, Beth.” Lester’s tone of voice was suddenly much softer as he lifted her chin up so their gazes met. “When will you learn that I don’t have it out for you.” He spoke walking closer. “Somebody with your talent…” He mumbled, his gaze returning to her cleavage. “Is wasted performing fetch quests day after day.” The disgusting excuse of a man ran a hand over her bare shoulder snaking it down her side. “Especially when you could be ‘performing’ elsewhere.”
Beth stepped back out of Wicked Lester’s reach meeting the rock-solid chest of another crony. “Sir…if you please…I’d like to keep our relationship strictly professional.” She spoke slowly, turning her gaze back to the floor.
“Oh, but it would be.” Lester stepped closer slowly, starting to slide the strap of Beth’s shirt from her shoulder. Beth placed a hand over his, stopping him. “Oh Beth, when are you going to realise that refusing me only fuels my desire to possess you. Which is something I-”
The door slammed open behind them as Lester’s two main cronies, Nick and Reno, struggled through the door with Mr Blackwell. “Got ‘im, boss. This sonuvabitch is ours.” Reno cackled.
“Stop fighting us!” Nick growled shoving Mr Blackwell down into a chair.
“I told you guys already! I ain’t done nothin’ wrong!” The suited man complained as Lester stalked over to him.
“Boss, you should want that we escort her out of the room?” One of the cronies behind her squawked, clapping a hand down on her shoulder so she couldn’t run.
“No, of course not. Let her see for herself what happens to those who deny me what I desire.” Lester smirked with a wicked grin.
Beth trembled as she entered her decaying apartment in the Bronx later that evening. It wasn’t much, and the neighbourhood was rough, but she had to live within her means. Like many before her, she knew that the Bronx wasn’t a destination, but a brief stop on her way to bigger and better things, at least she hoped. Beth pressed the door closed behind her with a loud squeak of the rusting hinges. She let out a shaking breath desperately trying to keep it together. She was quick to change out of her still-sopping clothing for some dry shorts and a Yankee’s tee before pulling herself out onto the fire escape with a sigh. The weather had let up a bit, the clouds breaking apart just enough to showcase the wonderful pinks and oranges of the sun slowly setting on the horizon. Below people shouted on the street, sirens sounding just down the block, and cheers floated from the nearby Yankee Stadium, such was the background music of the Bronx. She stared at the sunset before her as she let out a quiet sob. The things that Wicked Lester had done to that poor man, things that shouldn’t have even been possible. Beth had tried to speak out to spare the poor man but she was rewarded with a punch to the face. Beth sobbed softly into her knees as she tried to regain control of herself. “Beth? That you?” A male’s voice pulled the woman back to reality, away from the haunting images of what she had previously witnessed. “Hey, neighbour. Penny for your thoughts?”
Beth turned her gaze to the right to see her neighbour, Ace Frehley, leaning out his window with a look of concern laced over his features. He had moved in a few months back, and why he would move to this terrible building was beyond her, but she had been grateful for his presence. He was a sweet guy, always offering her a smile and a joke. “Hey, Ace…” She mumbled softly, placing her head down on her knees again.
“You alright there, darlin’?” He asked, stepping through his window before crouching down in front of her, taking note of the silent sobs shaking her body. “You’re shivering. Come on, let's get you inside.” When Beth didn’t respond, Ace slowly placed a hand on her knee, taking note of how she recoiled ever so slightly. He didn’t dare move, wanting to show that he meant no harm. “Beth? Come on, look at me.” The female let out a small sigh before giving in, her long dark hair not falling in front of her dark gaze enough to hide the still-darkening bruise across her left cheekbone. “Oh no, tears are falling…” Ace said softly as he tucked her hair gently behind her ear so he could look over the wound. “Ah, we oughta get some ice on that.” He stood, offering her his hands to help her up. Slowly, but not without reluctance, Beth accepted his hands before he pulled her to her feet. “Come on then, I’ve got a pizza in the oven and there’s plenty to share.” He smiled reassuringly as he led her through his window. His apartment wasn’t very vastly decorated, just the busted furniture that had come with it littered about. A small television sat atop a cardboard box in the corner showing the Yankees game. He sat her down on the rickety sofa before walking off, coming back with a sweatshirt and a blanket. “Arms up.” He commanded softly as he gently helped her put the sweatshirt on before wrapping the blanket around her.
“Thanks…” She muttered softly.
“Don’t thank me just yet,” Ace smirked softly with a wink before making her a cup of tea and grabbing her a towel of ice. “Here ya are.” He smiled taking a seat on the coffee table, handing Beth the ice as he placed the tea next to him.
Beth winced softly at the impact of the cold upon her face but relaxed slightly as the soothing cool sensation worked its way through her warm swelling cheekbone. “Thank you…” She mumbled.
“Think nothin’ of it darlin’.” He smiled. “Now then.” He started as he pressed the cup of tea into her free hand. “What’s got ya lookin’ worse than usual?”
“Gee thanks…” She rolled her eyes as she took a sip. The warm liquid cascaded down her throat doing little to warm the frost that Wicked Lester had blown upon her heart. “Just what every girl wants to be told.”
“Just my natural flirting skills.” Ace laughed with a cheeky wink, causing a small smile to spread across Beth’s lips. “Ah, there it is, that little smile, right there, I see it!” He prodded poking at the corner of her mouth. Beth giggled softly, her smile growing the slightest bit more. “Ah look, it's bigger now!” He laughed as he took back the cup. “I must say you’re a lot more receptive to my antics than the girls back home.”
Beth smirked ever so slightly as she leaned comfortably into the back of the couch. “Where did you say you were from again?”
“Nowhere that you would know, I’m not of Earth.” He said rather nonchalantly taking a sip of a Miller he had gotten for himself. “I’m from a small planet in the Andromeda galaxy called Jandel.”
“Jandel…so you’re a Spaceman, then?”
Ace noticeably stiffened at the nickname for some reason, but it didn’t last very long. “No, actually I’m a plumber.” He laughed hysterically.
Beth laughed, a full smile spreading across her features. “Well in that case I’ve got some plumbing for you to look at.”
“Hey, I’d be more than happy to oblige.” He winked, making Beth blush softly. She had always thought Ace to be attractive, since the day she first ran into him in the hallway when he was moving in.
“I’m sure you would be, Spaceman.” She laughed. “If that’s what you really are.”
“I s’pose you could say that.” Ace chuckled softly.
“This your spaceship then?”
“What this shit hole? Nah that’s up on the roof.” He laughed with a wink. “So enough about my former life, what made my girl so unhappy today?”
“Just another day at the office…another day of Wicked Lester’s antics.” She sighed as Ace offered her the tea again.
Ace sighed, his dark eyes filled with sadness for the female. “Ah gee, I’m sorry Beth. When are ya just gonna quit that god awful job anyhow?”
“You know I can’t do that.”
“Yeah, but ya also can’t be comin’ home with shiners like that.” Ace grimaced as he pulled her hand down to look at the bruise. “Eeee…best keep that on there.” He said replacing the ice to its spot on her face. “What warranted that?”
Beth bit the inside of her lip as she recounted the events that transpired earlier that day. “I told ya already! I’d never inform on anya youse! I’m a public figure! The cops, they hassle me no matter what I do! If I be lyin’ I be dyin’!” Mr Blackwell argued with Wicked Lester.
“Yes…I know you are. Hush now.” Lester grumbled as he took off his suit jacket rolling up the sleeves. “Some say a bullet to the head is best, or poison. But you’re no normal rat.” Wicked Lester cold-cocked the man seated before him across the jaw. Beth let out a squeak of shock as she placed her hands over her mouth to silence herself as she backed toward the door to see herself out only to be stopped by the cronies. Blood poured from Mr Blackwell’s mouth as he breathed heavily trying to combat the amount of pain he was experiencing in his surely broken jaw. “So I’d say your betrayal has earned you no mercy. Instead…” Wicked Lester continued as he snapped his fingers, blue sparks prickling from the tips. A ring of fire in the shape of a pentagram broke out on the floor. With a bright light, the pentagram became a portal.
“Hey what’s with that trick floor!” Mr Blackwell croaked out.
“You're not well, Mr Blackwell and we can tell,” Lester spoke slowly, his henchmen snickering as if they’d heard this all a million times before. “You're not well, Mr Blackwell, why don't you go to hell.” Wicked Lester gleamed as he gestured to the portal.
“Come ‘ere you.” Reno and Nick grunted as they tried to force Mr Blackwell into the portal.
“No please!” The suited man pleaded for his life, digging his patent leather heels into the floor, a mere few inches from the portal.
“Mr McGee! Please stop!” Beth yelled out as if it would change anything.
“Go to hell, I say!” Lester, living up to his nickname let out a wicked laugh as Mr Blackwell was thrown into the portal with a shriek. With a swirl of energy, the portal fizzled out into a cloud of smoke. “Now go put an end to that Damnable Federal Agent who turned him out. All who oppose the Destroyer will fall!” Lester commanded his cronies as they left the room leaving himself and Beth. “So my dear Beth, you’ve now seen my true power. And you still try to be a hero?” Beth kept her eyes downcast, unable to look this twisted, vial man in the eyes. In her attempts to make herself smaller, she was surprised to find herself on the floor after Wicked Lester blindsided her with a punch to the cheekbone. “I should send you right along after him for what you’ve seen.” He roared down at the girl, fire flaring up around her where the pentagram had once been. Beth looked up at Lester, remaining emotionless. The devil of a man looked down and chuckled menacingly to himself, somehow making his eyes darker than they had seemed before. “Your absolute lack of emotion intoxicates me, woman. A woman after my very heart and soul, indeed.” He smirked.
“I ran out after that…I don’t think he’s expecting me back tomorrow, but I really don’t think I should give him the satisfaction.” Ace seemed relatively calm but inside he was fuming that someone would lay a hand on his neighbour, let alone a zealot of the being that consumed his home world. So the Destroyer had minions spread as far as the meek human realm? Demonic ones no doubt. Things were a lot worse than they had originally thought. They had spent the last twenty-five years scouring the Earth searching for She but never even thought to look for signs of the Destroyer. This surely meant his power was growing. But why were they after such a sweet and innocent little human female like Beth? What could she possibly have to offer them? Ace hoped that one of the others might have an answer. “I know it sounds completely insane but I swear to you I’m telling the truth.” Beth continued with a little bit of fear in her eyes. The last thing she needed was for him to be shipping her off to the asylum.
“Well yeah, it sounds like some convoluted tale from the mind of a complete nut job…” He trailed off, as Beth cringed very slightly. “But…” He continued peeking at her interest. “...it's still not the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.” Ace nodded glancing at the stove as the timer went off.
“So you believe me?” She asked in disbelief as he casually walked over to take the pizza from the oven.
“Sure do.” He nodded. Ace walked back over to Beth taking the ice from her before placing a hand on her face, unbeknownst to her, a trickle of blue sparks leaving his fingers before entering her skin where the bruise lay. “I want ya to know that you can count on me no matter what. I may not be the toughest guy around, but I will always help ya in whatever way I can.”
Beth smiled softly, gently leaning into his touch. “Thanks, Ace…you’re my hero.”
Ace smirked before helping her to stand. “I’ll certainly try to be. Now come on, pizza’s gettin’ cold.”

The Ultimate KISS Comics Masterdoc
Tumblr media
For anyone in the dark: Kiss has a lot of comics!
While many are familiar with the personas made by the band, there is a much bigger lore. Superpowers, monsters, aliens, magical destiny… all that hot stuff.
Since it came to my attention that not many people knew about the plethora of Kiss comics that exist out there, and I know digging for them is frustrating, I decided to compile a full list of existing titles available online to read.
So here you go, The Kiss Comics Masterdoc.
Unfortunately, not every title is available. I will do my best to find the missing comics in time from other sources and fill in the empty spaces. The lore is one of my favorite things about the band and, in my opinion, a big part of their appeal.
Hopefully, you get something enjoyable out of them as well!

⚠️ Smut warning
When having sex with them:
Paul:
He loves fucking you missionary cuz he can see your face and see if he's doing well like always
He likes it rough but sometimes he can be very slow and romantic
He loves to finger you and sometimes even go beyond your limits as long as it's cool with you
Paul also loves receiving blowjobs while looking down at you and grabbing you by the hair, moving your head the way he wants
And he's obviously dominant
But still he likes when you tie his arms and start teasing him
Just wait till he gets free...Then lord bless your poor body.
Ace:
I think he is more of the chill guy who just lays in bed and let you do all the work
So he loves when you ride him
He also likes doing it in front of a mirror which allows him to look at your butt
Ace might also spank you from time to time while doing it with
And also make some jokes or smile like a sunshine while seeing you all satisfied
Peter:
I bet he lovesss anal so he would do that with you
I also can imagine that he likes being tied up and taking over
He would be obsessed with sucking on your nipples and spend all night squeezing and playing with your boobs
Peter would love edging for sure and begging you to let him cum.
Unlike the others he might moan while doing it with you in a cute submissive way
Gene:
Now heee obviously likes it rough with no mercy
He loves to see you cramp up under him and moan loudly
He likes to pull your hair, lick your nipples and face just like a wild animal
We all know that Gene is famous for his long tongue and he likes to show it off so what's the next point? Exactly.
He LOVES to lick your pussy and ass. He could do that all day and it's his favorite thing to do. To taste your sweet parts.
Seeing you squirt just makes him go wild for you. He loves that sweet juice of you so much that he even lets you sit on his face

🪐 In actuality Ace had planned a romantic drive around town followed by a moonlit picnic for the two of you complete with stargazing
🪐 He’s not the best cook, but it’s the thought that counts, or something like that anyway. He made (or bought) all your favorites
🪐 When he’s not messing around, he’s actually pretty romantic and will gladly hold a deep conversation with you… for as long as he can manage
🪐 “Hey! Did I ever tell you about that time I got abducted by aliens?” he laughed
🪐 You shook your head. Oh, sweet, precious Ace
Gene
Tumblr media
😈 Over the top is an understatement with this one
😈 Gene’s known as the businessman behind KISS for a reason. Of course he’s going to enjoy the perks of the b(r)ands success
😈 Which is fair, but the private yacht was just over the top in your humble opinion. Still, here you were on a yacht in the middle of the lake
😈 This demon spared no expense in giving you what he considered to be a perfect birthday. Who doesn’t want to eat dinner and spend the night on a giant luxury boat with the person they love?
😈 You’ll spend the whole evening talking, soaking in the hot tub, watching the sunset and doing whatever the hell else you want… because you can
😈 If you’re lucky, you might be able to convince him to give you an exclusive performance of “My Uncle Is a Raft”
😈 Overall, 10/10. Being spoiled on your birthday is the best
Peter
Tumblr media
🐱 Two words: simple and quiet.
🐱 Peter’s just never been a big fan of the grandiosity of rock and roll and you love him for it
🐱 A nice dinner at your favorite and a movie at the drive in, complete with a lovely gift that you’ve been wanting for ages is how Peter shows his love for you on your special day
🐱 At home, you’re surprised with your favorite drink and snack as you settle in to listen to his vast record collection
🐱 Peter’s definitely inclined to touch, am I right? Of course I am. Enjoy being ensnared in a warm embrace and given all the physical affection you desire from your very own cat, man
Tommy
Tumblr media
⚡️ Look, Tommy radiates dad energy. And that means celebrating your birthday in the universal dad love language: by remembering literally everything you’ve ever mentioned even remotely liking and giving it to you
⚡️ Love a specific kind of chocolate? What about wine? Cookies? Well, good thing he bought a hundred of each to surprise you
⚡️ Same goes for the day’s activities. Whatever you want, you’re doing it. Going to your favorite museum? Laying by the pool? You got it. He just wants to spend time with you and give you the attention you deserve
⚡️ He’ll take you to your favorite restaurant for dinner and guess what? He’ll tell you he bought a 500 dollar gift card so you can come whenever you like
⚡️ Is it excessive? Maybe. Does Tommy care? Not really. He wants to shower you with love and attention and show how much he cares for you. Queens should have everything, after all
Eric
Tumblr media
🥁 Eric doesn't believe in traditional birthdays- or any occasion for that matter. Why? Because he sees every day as special and a reason to show his love for you. He doesn’t need a day on the calendar to dictate how he treats you
🥁 Of course he’ll still acknowledge the passing of another year of your life with a small gift and a sweet “happy birthday”, but that’s about it
🥁 The rest of the day’s itinerary is entirely up to you. If you want to do something, he’ll take you to do it. If you just want to go about your life as normal, then that’s fine too. He’d rather focus on how you feel
🥁 As long as you feel just how much he loves and cherishes you, that’s all that matters. Your happiness is gift enough for the both of you 🖤

Kiss reactions
Kiss before, during and after you get your nips pierced
Request by: @fruit-bat-babey ♡
Fluff ☁️
Tumblr media
Paul: Paul would love the idea of you getting your nips pierced and he would stare at it every single day. He would be very sweet to you stuff like: "You're doing so great", "you can do it", "you will look beautiful it it" and so on. Paul would let you hold his hand and squeeze it as much as you want. He notices how nervous you are due to your fear of needles so he would make you look at him while the piercer is doing his thing. His beauty makes you forget about the pain and after a few seconds you're done. He would give you a kiss on the forehead to show you how proud he is and for the rest of the day he goes on a cute date with you.
Tumblr media
Ace: Ace is always supportive with whatever you wanna do but he is not so sure about that. He would be too worried about the pain, the healing process and if you will be happy with the result. He would try to convince you to talk about it again but he gave up when you told him that he worries too much about it. He would hold your hand all the time during the process and would try to make you laugh so you forget about the needle. After you're done, he would look at the piercing and end up liking it as much as you do if not even more. You would then go drink something cuz he needs a break after this so stressful day for him.
Tumblr media
Peter: Our cute catman loves the idea of a nips piercing and he would be more excited then you, smiling the whole way to the place. He would stay stuff like: "It's gonna look great on you" and more compliments. When he sees your in fear filled eyes he would give you a quick kiss on the cheek and grab your hands while telling you how strong you are and how brave you are to go for a piercing on one of the most sensitive parts of your body + one of his favorite parts of your body *wink*. After you were done he would go to his studio and teach you how to play drums for a few hours.
Tumblr media
Gene: He actually can't wait to see your nips with piercings but fuck he is so ready. His dark eyes stared the piercer down if he dares to do anything wrong he would get hurt. But no need to worry as Gene chose the best piercer in whole America for you. He knew about your fear of needles so he would let you grab his arm (of course) and stroke with his thumb over your cheek, telling you how proud he is of his little girl. It would make you blush so much that you forget where you were and what was going on. Later you guys would go eat something and he would buy you whatever you wanted.
