Once again, Ancient Egyptian culture takes over and so 𝐦𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡.

She is not a black jackal, nor a protector of the dead or guide of souls but her elongated snout and those small fluttering pointed ears played an important role in the 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐬.

The term derives from "Kheperer" (to be reborn), like the God of the Morning Khepri, the one who gives birth to the sun every day. But not only that, in the form of an amulet, the Kheperer, worn in everyday life, gave 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 from the forces of evil, extending to many more meanings such as 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧, 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 and 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞.
