Long Time No See

Hey!

How do I start this?

Man, I have been gone for a long time. A lot has happened in the past year and this is the first time I have logged into my account for months. It’s so weird lol. I hope everyone is doing well! For those who still follow me and were wondering about any updates, I’m still alive! So short story time. As we all know, the Covid-19 pandemic upended a LOT of things in our lives. For me, it was a mental health crisis that got out of control. I moved from where I was living, took on an overwhelming amount of work at my job, and just kinda...crashed lol. I decided that taking a break from all social media was something I needed. Many people benefit a lot from doing that! I can say it has helped me a lot with a lot of things. I’ve explored my own projects for fun, got more in touch with nature, and have been trying to take steps to control my astronomical levels of anxiety (getting better!)

At the present, I am at a sort of crossroads as to where I want to share more of my art. So many artists I followed and admired have moved to Twitter - like - lots of them. I still haven’t opened up my new Twitter account, and might do that someday, but for now, I want to stay low-key. I still love BNHA and bakudeku! It’s my OTP of all time!

I’m also a HUGE fan of Jujutsu Kaisen now, and am in love with Itadori Yuuji~! Lol he’s such a cute boi~

Anyway, I may start posting some art on here again. Not right away, as I want to be careful with my stepping back into social media. I do enjoy sharing my work with others to enjoy, but I want to be more balanced with how I manage things in life.

So to any one of you who are still around - thank you, I wish you the best, and do know that I’m still around and would like to share work again in the hopefully not so distant future!

Hi everyone!

Sorry again for the lack of activity here. I have been very busy, and things have been very difficult for everyone this year due to so many things (Covid, politics, etc.) I truly appreciate all of you being here and supporting the things I share! On this note, I must state however that I have been finding myself wandering lately...by this I mean finding myself interested in other media and projects.

I am still a huge BNHA fan, and I love bkdk to death, but I have slowed down a lot with my production of work. I’m sure you have all noticed this shift. I feel like I’m in a small creative rut for BNHA fan art, and I’m not sure why. To reiterate, I still adore the story and want to participate in the fandom, but for some reason I haven’t been feeling it 100%, which is a little disheartening.

Furthermore, I am still debating where else I would like to share art. I like Tumblr, but it feels...I don’t know, a lot more quiet here. That could be in part due to me not logging in as frequently, but nonetheless I have noticed a shift somewhere. I might eventually shift to Twitter since all of my favorite artists are on there. I tried once before and didn’t like it a lot, but maybe I need to give it more of a chance.

So please understand I haven’t removed myself from here. I’m just in a bit of a rut at the moment, but I hope to resume the creative spark soon.

Yup, it was the fact it was Katsuki who got hurt that Izuku went absolutely mad with fury. He cares a lot about him (and vice versa) and the fear for what is going to happen next is real. I have a hunch both Izuku and Katsuki are going to walk away with some sort of permanent injury when this battle is over. This is THE moment of the story so far.

In fact I’d go so far to think we will see some sort of brief time skip after this (not a lot considering the story’s title) but everything is hitting a climax that is very impressive. To be honest I still believe AFO is still the final bad guy the heroes will have to take down. Shigaraki (I suspect) will be redeemed somehow later in the story. Deku will be the one to pull that along somehow.

But for realsies before I go to bed

Can y'all please just imagine the kind of affection and care you'd have to have for someone to end up like Deku in 286?

Kacchan did that.

Seeing Kacchan hurt, and possibly even dying, Deku lost all sense of self. He completely lost who he was in that moment because one of the biggest pieces of him was harmed.

I just

No one can ever tell me Deku doesn't love him. Because that, that crazy, feral monster, that's because someone he truly LOVES was hurt.

Gran and Aizawa, of course he loves them, but they're not Kacchan, and they don't have the bond those two share, and so now we see what happens when someone decides they want to fuck with HIS Kacchan.

If this is the actual title of the chapter, I’m predicting one of the following:

1. Katsuki steps in to help save Izuku

2. We get his hero name reveal

3. He loses his quirk

I don’t see him dying. He’s the rival character and a big part of the story, plus I think Horikoshi would lose over half his followers if he did that. Of course Shonen manga has killed off characters before, but usually they’re not major characters. The only way I could even slightly consider that sort of outcome, would be if there was some sort of time skip right after the conclusion of this arc, which I also struggle to see. The title is My Hero Academia after all.

I think this will be more about showcasing Bakugou’a resolve to be the number one hero, and to do that, he has to learn how to be really selfless (like deku). It’s truly remarkable how Deku and Bakugou have essentially swapped positions in the past few chapters.

No matter what, it’s gonna be amazing.

God dammit there are so many analysis pieces on this chapter and rightfully so. So so much happend in this chapter that reveals a ton about our favorite deuteragonist’s thoughts. He cares about Midoriya and worries about him. It’s sort of like a ‘you don’t know how good you have it until it’s gone’ moment. Stuff like that can legit be life altering, so I truly do think this is an absolutely pivotal moment coming up regarding Bakugou’s character.

Am I stupid? It took me this long to realize Horikoshi ended the flashback right here and cut back to real time at this moment because we’re supposed to feel the pain of that talk never even getting to happen because Deku might die

Yes yes and yes!!! Dammit I love the subtle nature woven into his character. Like, Horikoshi is giving us one of the most incredible rival developments I’ve ever seen in a manga - honestly as a story overall!!!

I absolutely cannot wait to see what comes next! What us Bakugou supporters and supporters of his and Deku’s development have been saying all along...This is a major part of the BNHA story. They are key to each other. They will work together and be awesome partners by the end of this story. I just...man I just freakin love it so damn much. 💖💖💖

Bakugou is looking for atonement, not forgiveness, cause he knows Midoriya will instantly give it to him, no questions asked. Because he's Bakugou, he doesnt want instant forgiveness; he wants to earn it
