I wave my lightstick up high,
gleaming beauty of light outshines the sky.
In myself, I am being true,
I just do what others also do.
In the corner of the room, something caught my attention,
your albums I bought months ago, I smiled in celebration.
What seems so wrong with being true?
I just do what others also do.
I took the cd out with utmost care in my hands,
operated the cassette player and there it lands.
Should I still continue in being true?
I just do what others also do.
I put it in shuffle, and in a chair I was seated,
“Which song could it be?”, there I anticipated.
Why do they pay too much attention in me being true?
I just do what others also do.
‘Just One Day’ starts playing and my ears are satisfied,
effortless hums and ad libs, the room it beautified.
Now I think I know why it’s such a big deal in me being true…
…'cause I’m a guy who fell in love you.
For just one day, can every thing be alright?
For just one day, can the complexity of the world be set aside?
For just one day, can people appreciate me too?
For just one day..
..can they let me do just like what others do?

BIGHIT WHYY ;-;
BTS - RUN JPN Ver. Analysis Theory
BTS Theory Master List
Link to the MV
I SERIOUSLY JUST WOKE UP RANDOMLY BECAUSE IT WAS HOT IN MY ROOM AND OUT OF NOWHERE THEY DROP THE VIDEO
GFDI
ANYWAY. THE AMOUNT OF SHIT IN THIS VIDEO IS PRETTY CRAZY.
So looking at the main quote on the wall.
It reads ‘while the mark of mature man is that he wants to die live humbly for one.’
This is actually from the book ‘Catcher In The Rye’. Does anyone else know where I’ve referenced this book also?
In the theory I have plainly titled ‘Namjoon’s Book’ we look back at the Danger video briefly and take a look at Namjoon’s desk.
I’ll just paste what I posted in that theory here:
The Catcher in the Rye is set around the 1950s and is narrated by a young man named Holden Caulfield. Holden is not specific about his location while he’s telling the story, but he makes it clear that he is undergoing treatment in a mental hospital or sanatorium.
And who is seen in a mental ward in a video..?
Rap Monster’s ‘Joke’ MV.
I told you guys this book/concept behind the MV had something to do with everything.
But looking more into the quote, the full thing reads “Here’s what he said: ‘The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one.’
A brief description of the quote from the novel: It sounds here like Mr. Antolini might be worried that Holden’s going to commit suicide. But what’s Holden’s “cause”? He wants to be the catcher in the rye—to protect the innocence of youth. If Holden did manage to turn himself away from the rest of the [adult] world, as a kind of recluse, maybe he would “die nobly.
Ring any bells??
Looking at the same photo as before, you’ll see on the right, just my the edge of the water, ‘Save me from myself’. Taehyung knows what happened/going to happen.
Now looking at Jimin’s part, him in the tank.
Why is he in a tank rather than Taehyung who was in a full room of water in the other RUN MV?
Well think about how they died. Taehyung jumped into the ocean, and Jimin died in a bathtub. Their water levels are different, and their mimicking the methods in while they died, and I honestly don’t know where you can kind a see-through bathtub, so fish tank it is!
And does this pose look familiar to any of you guys either???
Remember all the way back at the beginning of September, I predicted that the way the members are shown in the photo book during these photos, is how they’re going to die.
Jimin is then seen struggling in the water, but why can’t he just get up? It’s just a tank. But it’s because they’re entering the afterlife in this video. Jimin is tied to the method in which he died, so he’s stuck like this.
Some people messaged me saying that they were confused about Jimin and the tank because since I said that he’s stuck, some people said that he is seen standing outside of it for a second.
This goes along with the part about them dying. He’s soaked from head to toe and behind him the tank is sprayed with ‘Youth Is Not Coming Coming Back’, This is relating to his death. He’s now come to terms with his death. Remember that Jimin struggled within the bathtub in I Need U and could possibly still have that mentality even though he’s already dead.
But that’s it. He’s accepted it, and he’s aware now. His youth is over, and it’s never coming back.
Hosoek’s part with him and the feathers refers back to his narcolepsy and pillows/sleep. Seeing white feathers with your dreams are said to symbolize the heavens and messages from the angelic realms and the soul ; the soul or spirit of an individual.
After researching more about narcolepsy, there’s actually a lot that ties into the videos about it.
Narcolepsy with cataplexy: This type of narcolepsy involves a combination of excessive daytime sleepiness and cataplexy. Cataplexy is when you have attacks that cause a sudden loss of muscle tone while you are awake. It may lead to slurred speech and buckling knees, or in more severe cases complete paralysis. These events are usually triggered by strong emotions such as joy, surprise, laughter or anger.
So yes this can prove that Hoseok does die in I Need U. There were/still are many speculations as to whether or not he died because he opens his eyes briefly.
Well can we talk about how he already took a handful of pills at the start of the video?
That already will have an effect, and after looking everything up, you can die can paralysis. It’s rare, but with the added fact that he did take several pills that we can only assume are to treat his narcolepsy. But because he didn’t die a painful/ physically harmful way, he’s seen with feathers rather than struggling in a tub.
Just as Jungkook’s shot comes in, he’s seen holding a flower, and then crushes it in his palm, once this happens, a chain reaction to the other members occur.
Meaning that just by something happening to one of them, is enough to effect the rest of the members.
Looking more closely at the butterfly, you can see the words ‘Goodbye Jin’. Sadly, since I can’t see the video on YouTube, I can’t adjust the quality so I can’t see all the small details and words, so thank you to @sokiarvy for sending me the photo.
Now with Yoongi, he’ seen in a blank room with mirror shards on the floor.
Which is from the mirror in RUN that he broken with the chair.
Once the mirror is shattered, the house of cards falls down. I referenced this here. About how one person, one card, is enough to bring them down. Taehyung killing himself broke them all from the inside, so now, they’re letting everything out.
Taehyung was the card that brought everything down with him.
Here, Taehyung looks confused. He’s wandering around the room that he just minutes ago was spraying with graffiti, and it’s as if he wasn’t aware of what he was doing, similar to how he stabbed his father in a blind fury then had a meltdown once he realized what he had done.
But once again, Namjoon doesn’t appear to be struggling much in this video..? Just simply sitting inside a telephone booth.
He’s never suffering like the others.
On one of the walls of the phone booth, there’s some words that read ‘Dedicated to all the boys who have lived in this painful world’
What if Namjoon is crazy enough to think that he’s actually doing them a favor in killing them? He thinks the world is just madness, once Taehyung dies, his counterpart within this concept, he goes insane and starts talking to the others, or influencing them slowly..
What if Namjoon is actually a bad influence on Taehyung? With the spray painting in RUN and all the ‘bad boy; stuff they’ve been doing, what if Taehyung starts to really get into all that? The feeling of running away from the police, messing with everyone.
His father was already abusive, so the only thing was for Taehyung to crack and go full force, killing his father in the process. And with that, what if Namjoon feels at fault for it? He led Taehyung through this path..
There’s one thing very specifically that I actually looked over. And once I saw it closely, I got chills. I noticed how Taehyung kinda fell back into the water towards the end of the video.
But did you notice his hand with the spray can in it? There’s not a single letter sprayed in red, so this was made to look like blood
This is actually the same hand that was used to stab his father, they’re both his right hand.
Throughout the video, Jin is simply in another room, but almost as if he’s watching everything happen and can’t do anything.
And as @sallyeh pointed out to me, there’s been a recurring pose throughout some of the videos:
Jungkook in the JPN Vers. of I Need U
Yoongi and Taehyung in the beginning of the JPN Vers. of I Need u
Yoongi next to Jungkook in RUN.
And now Taehyung within the JPN Vers. of RUN. Thank you for letting me know c:
To wrap everything up:
Taehyung is dead, the first to die. Yoongi, Jungkook, Jimin, and Hoseok are all dead in rooms that relate to their deaths somehow.. Namjoon is the grim reaper, lowkey causing all their deaths. Jin is the only one alive, because after this video especially, you can’t tell me he’s the one dead omg. And they’re all basically in the path to the afterlife.
I Need U JPN Vers was the more heaven set afterlife. And RUN JPN Vers is more based kinda like hell don’t you think?
