The office but with Batman
I want. Nat, I NEED a mockumentary of the Waynes daily life. I see a lot of people talk about having one in a "keeping up with the Kardashians" style, but I've never watched it and don't really plan to, but it seems to be exactly the type of vibe I want, but like, with interviews from the characters interrupting all the time like it's a documentary. Am I making sense here??

Across all the Egyptian people I know, we all have one thing in common.
We all think British people suck.

hahahaha when you've been making comics about the same people for decades you tend to hire at least two crackheads
Don't mind me, just thinking about how in the DC universe, cannonically, aliens, wizards, Greek mythology and Santa Claus are all not-so-peacefully-co-existing.

Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk there's more
And a flower morning to you, oh dog
Seriously though I love it when parents jokingly tell there kids "may your home be destroyed"
No but trying to translate something from Arabic to English is almost impossible because there are so many expressions that don't have any sort of translation in English and I can't very well have characters going
"Hey grandma I'm hungry can you get me some leftover cabbage"
"My eyes, moon"
"Thanks"
*loud crash*
"OH WHITE DAY!!"
"So I set the stove on fire"
"May your mother's home be destroyed!"

"My eyes, moon" is the greatest translation ever.
May a dog eat you for this.
Your mother is bald.

Maybe I "decided I didn't like reading that much" because you started me off with the CHRONICLES OF NARNIA-
I did like reading before that when we would read books like Horrid Henry and James and the Giant Peach.
And now I'm trying to get back into reading, but I literally cannot find anything I like.
Hoe is that my fault?!
When I was a kid, my mom would read me and my sister books, but eventually my sister decided she didn't like reading that much. I was also just getting good at reading and reading literally everything I could find (every shop sign on the street level) so my mom decided I should start reading Big Girl Books now and I should read them on my own.
So what book would be best to start this young child that couldn't have been younger than eleven I can't remember off with? Well, obviously, her own favourite child friendly books. The chronicles of Narnia.
I was traumatized by the ending of the last book. I was a little kid who hadn't quite made my peace with death yet and then yoU gO aND GIVE ME THAT!!
What's more, I found the books boring in some parts and scary in others, but they were my first books so I was still figuring out what I liked which meant the only measure for if a book was good or not was if Mom liked it.
Like literally. I wasn't allowed to pick my own books and the ones my mom picked for me were ones she'd read because she had to be sure there wasn't anything harmful in it but she also recommended books that she herself enjoyed because in general she has very good taste and I wasn't a Person™ yet so I didn't have my own taste and if I did it was Sparkly Shoes Are Pretty, but her taste turned out to be NOTHING like mine I didn't like most of the ones she recommended me and the ones I did (Redwall) I had gripes with because of overly lengthy descriptions and slow openings Okay I Get It The Grass Looked Cool Now Please Just Tell Me What This Story Is Even About.
Anyway I'm surprised that didn't make me hate all books and reading but I guess the writer in me was too strong to be burried so You Will Read Books No Matter What (I have found my stride in Percy Jackson, The shoes, Alice in Wonderland and Coralline)
