'Cause he got 'em.

I've been working so much in this one and it was meant to just be a quick thing.

My hardest challenge here (except for the hand, duuuh) was his skin,while I managed to somewhat get it similar to the shows art and coloringstyle (not fully, still struggles with the correct flatnes-2D-ratio), it was the fact that he is supposed to have freckles, alot of them, all over. And painting them just like dots everywhere, doesn't look good, so I stayed with just the textured brush but honestly, the freckles should be more prominent (Think like commander Gren from The DragonPrince, but even more lol.)

Heikala Never cease to amaze with her work. This is stunning!

Dawn 🌷 Continuing with the theme of tiny characters in huge surroundings. Really happy with the glowy effect. Lately I noticed that the watercolor paper texture my home scanner makes is very prominent compared to the Epson at my studio 😅

Another Abstract minipainting I did using the new colors I bought recently, aswell as Rosa's Watercolor Cobalt Grey. I'm not generally an abstract artist but when you don't know what to do, it's nice to let the water and paint do most of the work.

The framed one I also made with Indanthrone and I believe thst I mixed that with some Permanent Green for the forest area.

I have tons of these tiny frames I got sometime ago from someone who wanted to get rid of it all, I still havn't gone through them all, which I have to, and have to do some kind of organizing for them. I wonder if anyone at all would buy such mini-paintings? I know some mamages to do marvellous art in this scale, not me, I'm not there -yet.

I got two new Daniel Smith Watercolors this weekend and tested them out on wet on wet and let the paint and wter basically do it's thing on it's own. Once dried I tried to make a castle in the background on one of them, I just don't like how the castle came out (too thickly made tower for example, should have been made smaller)

Kyanite Genuine is a paint with crushed Kyanite in it, which makes the paint sparkle a tiny bit. ❤️

I'm trying to do some portrait of my OC's and my partners OC's too. The plan was to once again try to emulate the style of Tangled the Series, in which our OCs live in, but I keep adding too much details I think. I fail to do the really flat style the show has, so it becomes more like a mix between that and my own style.

Dnagit. I reblogged stuff on this page even though I was on my normal tumblr page. Oh dang. it'll have to stay here for a while.

Might aswell add to it that W.i.t.c.h was a big influence on me as young artist in the early 2000. It was right in the so called Swedish Mangaboom too and this was the only thing that came close to a manga that geared toward gorls that was easily accessable and in Swedish.

It didn't hurt that it was very pretty illustrated either. The story was so different from any other comic of the time. Usually I birrowed books from the library, it was sometimes Donald Duck comics (library edition books) and Valhalla (I really do love the Valhalla comics still), Yakari, Nofret and I even read aome Tintin and Spirou books comics but none of them was geared toward teenage girls (if I only had known then about the manga that existed in Japan, and that aome were translated into English and sold in special stores here in Sweden...although they wern't easily accessable.)

So when W.i.t.c.h started to get advertised in regular Donald Duck comics I was in love already way before it was published. The first issue came out and me and my friends read it to pieces (my poor magazine;_;) We analyzed all the pages, all the art, wondered why there was a picture of Cornelia with branches in her face on the quiz-pages (It was just some illustration conceptual art I suppose).

We started draw and copy the artstyle as best as we could, by hand might I add, this was back in 2001, we didn't have our own computers and sure as heck, no good artprograms, we barely knew how to use Word and MS Paint.

Aaah those were the days.

It was end of Summer when it was released here if I remember correctly because me and my friends was having a sleepover in a tent. As our tradition was every end summer. It was the last time we did that, only we didn't know it then. We were 16.

I'm in Sweden, backnin the day, I bought everything that was witch ESPECIALLY the magazines, all specials and extra magazines. I have never seen or heard about this one. And it is odd because generally, all of Scandinavia did get the same things. It looks like, instead of a Lookbook mag, we got them inside the magazines themselfves, spread out on several issues. Same as they did with some of the extra stories (Like Orubes, sidestory)

SPECIAL ISSUE: W.I.T.C.H. LOOKBOOK SCANS (NORWEGIAN)

I've had this special edition of W.I.T.C.H. lying around for years and I've been meaning to scan it for archival purposes, especially since there doesn't seem to be any scans of it anywhere online.

This issue focuses on fashion designs created for each of the five girls by professional designers, trying to create a unique aesthetic for the five girls. The key word being trying, since only a handful of the designs actually ended up being used in the comic and sometimes not for the girl it initially was designed for.

Unfortunately I don't speak much Norwegian, so I'm afraid I can't provide a full translation of the comic. I am also aware some of the outfits featured are a bit... questionable to put it mildly (especially Hay Lin's).

I've decided to upload it for free to the Internet Archive because it's no longer in print. Please feel free to download it, translate it, edit and repost it, but PLEASE make sure to link back to where you downloaded it from!

The more I read about this 'reeboot' the sadder I get. This is not a reboot at this point. It is a whole new story with new characters that just happen to have the same names as the OG Witch and somewhat similar background.

Safe to say, I won't spend any money on it. Not even if it does get published in my country.

I translated girls introduction pages to English and put the text on the pages from reboot. There may be some spelling mistakes as i'm not native English speaker and I won't lie it took me so long.

Hello there. This is a brand new blog. I'm not sure if I'm gping to use it or not, but keeping in mind that alot of other places are taking a turn for the worse, it couldn't hurt to have a backup, right ?

Anyway, I'm not sure how to categorize things as of yet so let's start with a introduction.

💚My name is Linda Lindberg, I'm 39 years old, soon 40. I've always dabbled in arts and cradts of various kinds and constantly find myself for fallign for new exciting things. However, my main source of creqtion outlet is Watercolors and digital art. I will post a few samples below.

As for private life, things hasn't been so great, I havn't ever had a longlasting job and the jobs I've had has been few and far between, I've also studied alot and tried to find new ways to actually support myself, but I always seem to fall short.

💛At 38 years old I was diagnosed with Adhd (Severe ADD) and that felt like a relief actually, it felt like I finally had an explanation as to why I don't seem to be able to do well in general, or not as well as others. I'm on medication now and things seem to eb...a little better, not great but better.

💙Anyhow, I live in Sweden 🇸🇪, the south part of Sweden, with about an hour and half away from Denmark (if I take the bus, which I usually do, because I don't have a drivers license).

💜I have a long-distance partner who lives in America, sadly. It's so far away, my biggest wosh as of now is to travel there and see them for real, I really wish I had the means to it.

🩷When I was about 18, I was in a local Artcontest, and went on to regional. It was great, and it firther deepened my love for art and especially Watercolors. Although, when I look back at the work I did then, I feel extremely embarrassed because they were pretty lazy. Still I felt so proud back then.

🍁I don't know what future holds as of now, I hope it is something good. I hope it is something I can feel happy about.

🎨I do alot of watercolors, my main inspiration comes from Fantasy, Nature, Sky-Childrennof the light (game) and some Anime's I watch.

⬇️These two are original works I've done recently. The Lineart was comissioned by Swedens own Mermid ; Athiraa, aka Linda Ågren who'm also have released two books about mermaids, the Lineart was comissioned to be part of her Coloringbook she made, featuring various artists around the world.
