Today is the last day of Pride! I wanna remind everyone who feels entitled to speak hate against us. Use the Bible and/or religion against us and etc that we’re not stopping anytime soon. We were born the way we are, we won’t give up the fight of equality! We won’t stop protesting for our rights. In this world that I’ve been blessed to see everyday there’s so much violence and hatred against my community! They are being, killed, jumped, raped, and more. We’ve been beaten and torn but we will not back down! Pride is a celebration whether it’s June or not, Pride will always exists and you can’t silence us! We have a right to live. Patrons of the Stonewall, other Village lesbian and gay bars, and neighborhood street people fought back when the police became violent. The riots are widely considered a watershed event that transformed the gay liberation movement and the twentieth-century fight for LGBT rights in the United States.
