I went on a trip with some "friends" last week. We all had to pick rooms to stay for the night, my male friends didn't want me sleeping next to them, they made sure I didn't even got into they bedroom. Sometimes I think its because I'm trans, sometimes I think it's because I'm gay. I don't really know. It just kind of upsets me, I really never did anything to piss them off. I never make any "gay jokes" around them because I'm really afraid they'll think I'm serious, I never mention anything about me being transgender (though all of them know), I'm always careful around them and its still not enough for them to like me.

It really pissed me off to be honest. I'm really fucking sad. Idk, just wanted to vent I guess...

I hate getting older.

Prepare your asses bitches, this is gonna be an angry teenager venting!!!!!

When you're a kid you dream about growing up, about having your own house, going to college, paying bills, doing whatever you want because you finally don't own an explanation to anyone. But as you grow you start seeing that life is not actually a fucking strawberry – that's an old saying from my country. It's horrible though, to realize that. It rips you apart because everything you've ever believed is not true and life isn't as simple as you thought it was.

I'm sixteen years old. I don't know SHIT of what I am doing or what I am supposed to do. I don't feel like a kid anymore, but I don't feel like an adult either. People don't take my opinions seriously because they think I'm a fucking kid, but still they complain when I act "immaturely". They don't think I'm intelligent enough to vote (though now I'm allowed), but they get confused when I say that I don't know what I want for my future – as if I need to decide the next 70 years of my life with only sixteen. David Bowie said in one of his songs: "You're too old to lose it, too young to choose it" and it fucking ripped me apart because it describes me entirely right now.

No one fucking takes me seriously. It's ridiculous. Why am I old enough to get a job and at the same time not old enough to be considered something respectable? I know teenagers tend to pretend like they are the owners of truth, but we are literally just trying to survive all of these confusing expectations everybody puts on us.

I'm getting older, I'm aware of that. I know I need to take responsibilities, I know I need to compromise myself, I know I need to study for my future, I know I need to work, I know I need to be "the man of the house", I know I need to please the people around me. But I also need to be myself, I need to have fun, I need to understand myself, to understand what I want, I need to rest, I need to have friends, I need to smile, I need to like myself, I need to be allowed to live. And sometimes... theses things doesn't seem to coexist. It sounds dramatic, but it's genuinely what I'm feeling. I'm trying my best, you know? Trying to make everything work, but it feels a bit impossible sometimes. I always feel like I'm failing, like I'm disappointing everybody.

I have no idea how adults actually do all of those things together. I'm struggling really hard. Is this what it is to be free? Because then all my fucking life has been a lie. I don't like it. I don't want it. And worse, If this is going to be the rest of my life, then my life is gonna be shit. My story is gonna be shit. I've been unhappy my entire childhood, I've been unhappy my entire adolescence and now I have to be unhappy all of my adult life?????

Why?

Why do you guys make it so hard for us?

It wasn't supposed to be like this.

I don't think I'm making any sense right now but fuck it. I'm tired as fuck.

Fuck all of you. Fuck my parents. Fuck the government. Fuck me too. Idc

I really fucking hate getting older.
