messing around with an outfit variation of defoko. i am not that attached to her, but i like her color scheme and base design so i wanted to try adding my own touch to it.

something ive noticed with early fan-made voicebank mascots (utauloids and fanloids mainly) is they all sorta have the same uniform and outfit structure as miku. i mean for fanloids directly derived from her it makes sense, and while it does give these characters a specific look, they all look pretty samey to me. and i just like trying to come up with small differences between them to shake things up.

defoko’s voice is fully synthesized/artificial and has a very distinct sound to it, which is what interested me. i thought artificial voice = artificial looking design, so i tried to give her look non-human with the sleeves being apart of her. idk if the sleeves/boots being directly apart of her limbs has much practicality or logic??? but i thought it would look cool and wanted to test it out. (the gradient between the skin tone and the black would be a little smoother if i didnt get lazy). perhaps i could try leaning more in the robot aspects, if i were to revisit her again.

i really appreciate when someone does! 💖 i made a megapost about them a while ago on this blog that you can read here. this is pretty much the one-stop shop where you can find my many ludicrous headcanons i'm willing to share publicly :,]

i guess i don't really have much more to add to that post, unfortunately 😭 i will say, i did ascribe a unique birthday and trivia to both versions as if they were their own units in awakening (and i thought "most mysterious in the army" was boring 😅)

robin (male): october 19 (based on awakening's japanese release of 4/19 except that's like really close to lucina's birthday so i moved it to spooky month cuz i thought it would fit). he is the best at shuffling cards in the army

reflect (female): february 4 (based on awakening's us release date). she is the least likely to get sick in the army.

sorry if that was kinda underwhelming, again i've made a post abt them before and i haven't made much revisions to them. i've been thinking of making a hc post for the morgans tho >w<

got a new sketchbook. one that is small and can be carried around in a bag easily while also havin the paper to support my more involved drawings. first page filled with doodles of my oc kandy. we are so so fuckin back

(and no marker bleeds on the back!! this is gonna be so fun. its a rendr sketchbook… a hardcover version was so scarce but i finally nabbed one. gonna cherish this lots)
