Hey friends!
This time we will focus mainly on Tales From The Arcade: Fartmania, because there is a lot to talk about! In addition, until the end of May you have a chance to take part in a contest where there is a cool prize to win!
FARTMANIA IS OUT!
Let's start with the fact that Fartmania is finally out. From now you can play our latest production on Newgrounds! We are very pleased with how TFTA Fartmania looks in the final version, another dream on our list ticked off.
For those who do not yet know what our new game is about, we're here to tell you - Fartmania is a new installment in the Tales From The Arcade series. This time we decided to make an arcade platformer starring pigs. Our character Pinky has a farting problem and is being ridiculed by others in the village. However, when the other piglets are kidnapped by aliens, Pinky the Stinky must use his unusual powers and rescue his pals from the hands of the alien visitors. Will this mission succeed and will Pinky gain the respect of the village? It's all up to you.
FART-ASTIC CONTEST!
(Seriously, it's really cool!)
But you are probably also interested in the contest we’ve mentioned at the beginning. Well, we want to see how well you do in our new arcade platformer. Therefore, show us what the highest score you are able to fart out in Fartmania!
- Go to Newgrounds and play TFTA: Fartmania
- Launch the Fart-o-meter and start the adventure.
- Reach the top of the sky and defeat the aliens, completing the game in the shortest possible time and saving as many pigs as you can.
Every second counts, just as every little piglet is extra points to your score!
Okay, but what's all the fuss about?
The person who at the end of the contest will appear in the first place of highscores on Newgrounds will become.... a character in TFTA: Fartmania!
We will prepare for you a personalized piggy character that will appear in the game. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that may not be repeated. There is a lot to fight for, so drop on Newgrounds, break records and fart your way to the top!

Rollercoaster of fear! || Hank: Drowning On Dry Land

One of the most powerful abilities of the main villain of our upcoming game is the ability to enter the mind of an opponent and exploit their deeply hidden fears. We would like to portray this in the best possible way, hence the idea of a crazy wagon ride through the mind of The Unraveler's victim, who is Hank himself. This is, of course, meant to symbolise the real rollercoaster of emotions and fears that the main character of our game is exposed to. Let us show you our cool concept arts!

First, Hank ends up in an abandoned railway station where the watchman... well, you can see for yourself how he ended up. The only way out of there is this mysterious wagon but... nobody knows where it is heading. The only way to find out is to take a ride!

The wagon takes off at incredible speed and Hank already knows what's going on. It's going to be a ride through his consciousness and it doesn't seem cosy. But who is behind all of this? Maybe he'll find out beyond that gate. Better hold on tight!

It's Unraveler! He pops out of Hank's head and crushes his skull to pieces. Will this man ever stop bothering him? One thing is obvious - Unraveler wants Hank to lose his mind so that he can no longer destroy any of his illusions with the time travel ability he possesses. He even shoots lasers?! And you people say your rollercoasters are crazy, pff....
Maybe if Hank survives long enough, he'll come out of it unscathed? After all, every ride comes to an end at some point, right?

The fear to overcome! | Hank: Drowning On Dry Land
Besides dealing with powerful enemies, Hank's biggest struggle takes place in his head. His mind is constantly tortured by the demons of the past that don't want him to live a peaceful life. And how are you gonna use your ability to travel through time if you can't even think straight?
The Unraveler, Hank's nemesis, takes advantage of this fact. He knows, that sometimes a single thought is enough to set off an endless spiral of anxiety. He enters the opponent's head and uses his greatest fears to subjugate him to his will. Why Hank then? Because he is the only one who always manage to put a stop to his perfect plan. And that's what he hates the most.
The Unraveler is the illusionist and the greatest criminal this world has known. A perfectionist, a mastermind, the composer of chaos - yup, all these terms perfectly describe our villain. The Unraveler wants to see the world descending into total chaos by his single push, creating a frightening domino effect. He’s using his opponents' fears as a weapon against them and proudly watches the show. Will Hank be able to tame the villain, or will it be the Unraveler who emerges victorious from this clash?
One thing is certain - Hank's ability is still powerful. However this does not mean that it has no downsides. While time travelling he has to avoid his past selves in order to not create a space-time paradox. One wrong move can lead to a sequence of tragic events that may lead to the disintegration of the world.
All of this you'll find in our upcoming game - Hank: Drowning On Dry Land. For now it's still in the production phase. We're working up a sweat to deliver you the best experience we can.

Struggles of a superhero! | Hank: Drowning On Dry Land
As we're creating a hero for our upcoming game, we wanted to make someone real to the bone. Someone with a great power, but also a person that is full of fears and problems. That's how Hank was made - he's a vigilante with the ability to travel through time. Unfortunately, that's the only nice thing in his life. He lost literally everything. Family, job, money - it's all gone. If that wasn't enough, Hank also struggles with alcoholism. He discovered his ability to manipualte time after one crazy hangover and from that moment on he helps the city's authorithies with chasing criminals.
This fact did not escape the attention of the biggest criminal and illusionist this world has known - The Unraveler. While creating Hank's nemesis we aimed for someone who might really have something to do with our vigilante's abilities. Our illusionist is able to consider even the most unpredictable scenarios just to not let anyone ruin his performance. But there's one thing that he can't predict and it's of course Hank and his timetraveling. He loathes Hank who thus far has been the only one who managed to put a stop to a plan that's already been set in motion. Ever since that moment, he is obsessed with figuring out how Hank managed to pull such a stunt.
But concepts are not only about stories - our artist Witek is the master of creepy arts and comic aestethic. With his help our characters are coming to life! In this footage you can also see some of the other villains that Hank will encounter on his journey. We wan't spoil nothing more, but there are some really horrifying creatures waiting for their turn to be shown!

2023 passed in the blink of an eye and we have to admit that it was quite nice for us! 🎆
Together with our friends we've developed two games - Hank: Straightjacket and Tales From The Arcade: Starship Murder. We also released the demo of our upcoming game Hank: Drowning On Dry Land. The Footage that you see is from all of those productions and we're very proud of it!
We hope that 2024 will also be generous to us, so that we can release more fantastic games for you!
