katsuki with knives (or any dubiously legal/illegal weapons) hcs?

knife boy. knife boy.

the first time katsuki gets his hand on any sort of weapon with no purpose of eating, was when he was just three years of age.

he thought it’d be a pretty fun toy to play with, whilst mitsuki was talking to inko. it was a bad mistake on his part.

he ended up cutting his finger and deku’s cheek - both of his are scarred over to this day. the other boy never stayed mad, but it was from that day that he had a strange fascination with shiny, sharp weapons.

he ended up taking a switchblade he found to school, when he was just six. he didn’t really need it, as he had his quirk…but it was comforting, in a way, just running his fingers along the blade whenever he was too mad. he only ever brought it out when an older kid was trying to intimidate him.

he got off really lightly in terms of punishment, whenever the teachers saw him…

he never used the switchblade on other people, even as he did with his own quirk.

when it came time to get into u.a, his first hero costume incorporated several blade-like weapons, in case he was in a situation without his quirk. all but one were denied from being added to the final design.

aizawa had been the one to allow him one blade, telling katsuki that it would be good for getting out of kidnapping situations, whenever his hands are tied.

because of this, he’s become rather skilled with brandishing the blade and having his hands tied…

if anything, it makes him look even more feral on the best days.
