There is so much to say in this photograph,

The stories I could tell would bring you to a laugh.

From growing up in this feral land,

From a little boy I have turned into a man.

Every time I licked my wound from scratches to burns,

I can tell you that these lessons were well learned.

Now I have moved on with the knowledge and power,

I will maintain the land from a high tower.

Click, click, click look at the time,

Who would have thought I would be in this bind.

Eyes close but the mind will ponder.

Can’t stop the thought that mind will wonder.

Mind... mind I can’t get it to stay under.

All it wants to do is simple conquer.

Can’t you see I have this pain,

It’s in my eyes, it’s in my brain,

But you deflect the signals because of the smile,

We all hide behind the eyes of a child.

See what we want, do as were told,

Never taking that step to be bold.

My heart is racing... the mind is pacing,

My body is shaking... my face is raging.

The night is young, the moon is bright,

You never seem to get your weather right,

Sometimes hot... then cold or vise versa day or night.

Memories made fast within the chill ridden air,

Sitting round an open fire... telling stories that might come rare.

Crazy how the trees change within the moment,

Rapidly falling ....snow right behind to torment.

The leaves have a magnificent shade... seems to be as if they have been aged,

Wouldn’t that be a site if we could have the moment caged.

Fall you are sincerely my most favorite of them all,

Standing... chest out... showing them how you are tall.

No other season can chase you at best,

Because... just like me... you are unique and not like the rest.

Throughout the day my mind travels without my body, one minute they are together next moment they are not, my body sends questions to my mind that the mind can't fully answer. Like, are we in love ? My mind tries to answer but it doesn't fully understand the context of the question. It wants to say yes because my mind is considerate and doesn't like seeing the body alone but only the mind knows that love is much more difficult question to answer than are we? Factors come into the mind that the body cannot see like, are we too far away to make it work, will him/her be faithful? The body just wants someone there at that moment but the mind wants them too be there every morning when you wake up until the end. Let's not forget the 3 major words. I LOVE YOU! The body will show signs of intimacy but will never actually say it. The mind however will connect to the heart and at that moment the words will just flow .... When I actually meant it I told the person "I have fallen In love with you." That's how you know when the question is answered is when you love everything about that person when it's no longer I love you and it is I am in love with you!!

I wish you knew how important you are,
The only one I would want in a crowded bar,
Your smile and touch has turned into just a memory,
I can feel it there but why so empty,
If I could I would have you in an instant,
Then the ocean wouldn’t feel so damn distant,
I wish you knew this was about you,
But your gonna read this with not even a clue,
I hope not saying this doesn't make me a fool,
