Puzzle Pieces (Mafia!Miguel x Shy!Reader)
Part 1 of who knows how many parts :)
Warning: Eventual Smut so Minors DNI, mentions of abuse, blood, murder, language, fluff, bullying, mentions of sex
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The heavy sound of rain flood the streets of Nueva York. The dim street lights felt faded as the mist blocked their glow. Despite the downpour that washed the streets, the stench of blood still lingered. A foul odor that could never truly be cleaned from this city.
Nueva York was riddled with crime. Each part of the city was owned and govern by their own mafia. Drugs, alcohol and fights were always a topic and always a cause to stay indoors. Only the smart stayed away from the mafia. They were the ones to survive this city unscathed. They were the ones to avoid trouble.
You had just moved into the city, unaware of its true face, nor did you really have a choice. You were desperate to get away from your old life. Despite for a fresh start. So much so, that you landed in one of the worst parts of the city. The place you rented was small, but it was enough to keep you hidden.
A soft whimper escaped your lips as you near cried at the sight of a roach. Tears threaten to spill as you sprayed the roach spray against the foul creature for dear life. You had just moved into the place. You were warned by your friends and family of the filth of the city, but they didn't know anything. They didn't know the pain you were in.
"Ew, ew!" You whined as you grabbed the broom, throwing the roach away.
Once you were freed from that horrid task, you continued to clean and unpack. You double checked everything for roaches and mice, wanting to sleep soundly for once. You shuddered at the thought as you pulled out old photographs of your high school days. Within those pictures was the cause of your depature.
Your ex.
You had fled your hometown due to your abusive ex-boyfriend, Eddie Brock. The man was so kind to you at first, treating you well until you officially started dating. Your college life was cut short due to his beatings and yelling. You were always at fault. You could never be good enough for him. You were always the problem.
The thought made you sob. You moved to this city on a whim thanks to your small job. You just wanted to stop living in that hell. Everyone loved your ex. They never truly saw what he was. They never even asked how you were.
"I-I need to s-stop crying." You whispered to yourself as you looked out the window, "I-I have work tomorrow. I...I need to be ready."
-----------
Meanwhile, a few blocks over, Miguel was sitting before his large patio, watching the rain. He held a glass of vodka in his hand, watching the lightening brighten the sky more than the city lights itself. He inhaled to the loud roar of thunder before being interrupted by a knock at his door.
"Que? (What)" He hissed lowly. Lyla smiled as she walked over with a folder, placing them on his desk,
"Just something for the morning." She chirped and approached the door, "There's another one waiting outside. Shall I send her in?"
"Ha, and get some fake praises. She can only come in if she wants a quick fuck. I won't deal with gold diggers." Miguel grumbled.
Lyla just hummed in response before shutting the door. Miguel could only groan in annoyance as he placed his glass down. His night would have been better off alone. Closing the blinds to his patio, Miguel approached his desk to the file. It was going to be another long day tomorrow.
---------
There was a scurry to your step as you tried to please your new boss. It was your first day working in the chain supermarket, and you were stressed. This version of your old job was far busier, louder and ruder than what you were used to. You were a shy and quiet person, so having so many people yell and pull you around was breaking you.
"(Y/N)! Deli needs a hand, you ever did that?" One of your coworkers asked. You flinched at the sudden yell,
"I-I have helped packaged an-"
"Good enough, go help and put a kick in it!"
You just agreed and hurried to the deli. You grabbed a hair net and gasped lowly at your fellow coworkers there. They were all so tall and mean looking. You were like a deer in headlights the moment they saw you enter their kitchen. You just bowed your head slightly and quietly made your way to the meat wrapping station.
"Why'd they put her here? She don't know anything yet," One of the taller men whispered. You're ears perked up since whispers weren't exactly in their volcabulary,
"She's a scaredy cat. Ain't nothing comin' outta her mouth. Same like the rest of us,"
You wanted to ask them what they were talking about, but you were too scared to find out. That, and you learned the harsh lesson of minding your own business. Dear ol' Eddie gave you that cruel lesson. Shaking your head at the thought, you didn't want to be known as the employee who cried on their first day.
"Hey, new kid," One of your coworkers called out, approaching you, "Yer new here, so let me warn you. We got three freezers in the deli. One is full of the fresh meat we get. Leave that to us big guys. You can enter the second freezer with the small cuts for the customers. The third freezer, you never enter. Don't ask questions about it. Don't peak into it. Just pretend it never exists. Oh, and don't make eye contact with those who enter it."
"Okay,"
Hell fucking no. You were going to stay far away from dear freezer number three. That was a lot more information than you even wanted to hear. Hell, you weren't a fan of entering freezer number two. Once your coworkers were reassured by your understanding, they returned to work.
Your hands trembled over your station as you tried to focus on your job with the seven men yelling around you. This was your sad new life. You had to get used to this. You were either going to make it in the city or die trying.
--------
Miguel lazily glanced out his window seat, spotting the upcoming supermarket. There was a rumble in his throat as he leaned back in his seat. His men tailing behind him in different cars. Miguel told his driver to stop, wanting to walk the rest of the way while his men parked around back.
"Peter, take our guest into the freezer. I'm going to make a pit stop at the deli," Miguel said over the phone.
"Miguel, we talked about this. You're the boss, let us handle the work." Peter tried reasoning over the phone.
Miguel wasn't even paying attention. He hung up and proceeded to enter the supermarket. His presence alone made the managers cower and the workers silent. Of course, none of the regular customers knew anything. None of them suspected that he, Miguel O'Hara, CEO of Alchemax, was the leader of the Spider Mafia. One of the biggest and ruthless mafia in town.
"The usual?" One of the deli men questioned. Miguel glanced over his shoulder, noticing you shaking like a leaf while avoiding your coworkers,
"And they say I'm cruel. New hire?"
"Transfer from out of town," The man replied.
Miguel raised a brow towards you. You were pale in the face as you apologized for getting in people's way. Miguel couldn't help but snort. It was cute. Something he was not used too. Returning his attention to the deli worker, Miguel could only smirk as he watched his men drag their guest into freezer number three.
"The bird needs to be plucked." Was all Miguel said for the man to understand.
-------
You whimpered softly as you moved away from everyone's path. It had gotten far too busy for your liking. Once you caught a break, you noticed the deli supervisor talking to a handsome man. You tilted your head, stealing a glance. The man was tall and gorgeous. He wore a slick all black suit. Something very fancy for this part of town.
The man took notice of you and smiled. Your cheeks immediately started to heat up as you quickly returned to your job. As you did, you noticed some men enter the third freezer. You paled instantly. It was your first day! Biting you lower lip, you tried to focus on your work. Right as you did, you noticed the handsome man from earlier walk by you and towards the freezer,
"Keep up the good work, conejita (bunny)." He whispered.
You felt your heart race as the door shut. His voice was so deep and low. If only he hadn't entered the freezer. Perhaps, you would have gotten to know him as a regular.

If the prompt sparks joy: buddie and where does it hurt?
thank you amy my dear! some vague finale spec because i couldn't help myself
“Where does it hurt?” Buck’s mouth was twisted into a hard line, his brow furrowed as he crouched in front of Eddie. They were waiting for another ambulance – other people were more seriously injured than Eddie, and so he had to wait his turn: that was how it worked at major incidents. Eddie was fine with it, really – Bobby was in an ambulance on his way to LA General, Chimney not far behind, and so he’d patiently wait his turn.
“You know where,” Eddie chided gently. “I told you – I broke a few ribs.”
Buck glared up at him. “When did you get your medical degree?” he snarked.
“When did you?” Eddie couldn’t help but bite back. It had been a long – and terrifying – day and so he couldn’t help it – he was tired, and as much as he appreciated Buck’s fussing, he was in pain, and Buck’s gentle prodding wasn’t helping.
He took one look at Buck’s forlorn face, and immediately felt bad. “Give me a once over,” he offered, and though Buck hesitated, the relief he clearly felt at having been given permission was clear. “See for yourself,” Eddie nudged, and Buck didn’t need more encouragement than that.
Eddie’s turnout coat had long since been discarded, the heavy material weighing down on his already tender body, so Buck didn’t have too many layers to bypass to get to Eddie’s ribs. Gently – so gently, Eddie noted, Buck’s hands feather-light as they skimmed the hem of his t-shirt, gently moving it upwards to give a better view of Eddie’s ribs.
“Definitely broken,” Buck sighed, and Eddie swallowed his ‘I told you so’ – it wasn’t the time. “Where is that ambulance? You could – you could be bleeding internally, you need to get to a hospital.”
“Buck,” Eddie tried, Buck’s attention firmly fixed on Eddie’s ribs. “Buck,” he repeated, his voice gentle, pleading, almost. “Can you look at me please?”
Buck didn’t move.
“Please?” Eddie repeated, and Buck finally moved, lifting his head to look at Eddie, his eyes shining bright with unshed tears. “I’m okay,” he reassured, reaching out with his good arm, his left holding tight to his side in the hopes of holding his broken ribs together. With shaking fingers, Eddie pushed Buck’s matted hair back off his forehead, stomach churning as he realised Buck’s hair was matted with more than just sweat: blood and dust lingering as a reminder of the altogether too close a call they’d just experienced.
“You almost weren’t,” Buck’s lip wobbled, the other man biting the corner of his mouth in an attempt to stop himself from crying. Eddie had never seen Buck like this – not at a scene, at least. Buck was an emotional person, but he was usually stoic until they got in the doors of the hospital, but not today. Today, despite the fact they were surrounded by police, and rescue teams, and far too many people craning to see what disaster was unfolding – staring, as though Eddie’s family hadn’t just faced death all over again and barely survived it.
“But I am,” Eddie rubbed his thumb against Buck’s cheekbone, wishing he had the strength to just pull him closer. He needed Buck close. He’d been far too close to being pancaked in that van, the weight of a fridge crushing against his back. Eddie had wondered if this was it, for a second – that despite how many insane things he’d survived in his thirty-something years on the planet, he’d go getting crushed by a fridge in a bridge collapse – and then Buck was there, sweat pouring down his face as he’d moved the fridge, determined as he and Hen had dragged Eddie free of the van, right before it had been crushed into nothingness.
“I can’t keep almost losing you,” Buck admitted, his voice quiet – as though he didn’t want anyone else to overhear. Eddie understood that – he didn’t want anyone else to overhear either. Ideally, he supposed, this would happen in a private moment – in Eddie’s apartment, maybe, or in a secluded corner of the station – but it was happening now.
That was okay too.
Eddie didn’t mind.
“I can’t promise you that it won’t happen again,” Eddie admitted – because he wasn’t going to lie to Buck, was he? They were past that – past lying to each other, no secrets left between them anymore, not when Buck’s admission hung heavy in the air. “But I’ll always fight to come home to you.”
Buck let out a shuddering breath, resting his forehead against Eddie’s, the gesture a promise of what was to come later – later, after an ambulance ride, and a hospital visit, and a quiet car journey home. “You can’t leave me,” Buck said, eyes squeezed shut. “I wouldn’t survive losing you.”
“You have me,” Eddie promised – because it was the truth of it, really. Buck had always had him – even before Eddie had realised it, even before he had been ready to admit it, Buck had him.
Buck looked at him, eyes shining with words neither of them had said yet. They would come, though. Eddie knew that. “I’m going to find you an ambulance,” he said, pressing a brief kiss to Eddie’s cheek, the gesture feeling juvenile, almost, in light of the seismic shift that had just happened in their relationship.
Or maybe it wasn’t seismic after all, Eddie realised – it was inevitable, actually, their friendship trundling toward love long before either of them had realised the path they had set themselves on.
Eddie watched, as Buck wandered toward the incident commander, his face set back to serious, ‘I’m working’ Buck, determined as he went about finding an ambulance for Eddie.
No.
It wasn’t seismic at all.
It was the sort of inevitability that Eddie hadn’t realised he craved – and maybe he didn’t crave it, and he just craved Buck, and the steady love he so willingly gave Eddie every day.

any color looks good on you
for @spoookysix who requested fluff, and I will never deny them anything.
“I can’t believe this.” Eddie groaned as he banged his head against Robin’s bathroom counter.
“What? It looks good!” Robin pushed her hands through Eddie’s hair, the tips of her fingernails stained red. She was trying to fix the mess Eddie made, pulling his own hands away from yanking any hair out.
“Robin, the box said blue! This is so very clearly not blue! It’s red!” Eddie spun around to look at her. He expected her laughter or even a grimace at his new look, but instead, she simply had on her “you’re an idiot” look.
It was a special look she reserved for only Steve and Eddie.
“First off, did you bother checking the dye before you bought the box? People just switch it sometimes.”
“Well—“ Eddie was prepared to lie, but one scathing look from the lanky girl stopped him in his tracks. “—no.”
Robin tsked, “Classic dying one-oh-one, always check the box.”
“Get off your high horse, Robbie; what do you know?”
“Clearly my ‘you’re an idiot’ face wasn’t enough—“ Eddie knew the look was special “—you’re an idiot, Munson.”
“Hey!”
Robin rolled her eyes and pushed on. “You literally came to me for a reason, as I have experience in the at-home dye process. As you can tell from the lovely highlights I gave myself.” She fluffed her shoulder-length hair, clearly impressed with herself.
“It still looks terrible.”
“Jesus, Eddie. You’re such a drama queen. It looks great! Besides, it's not like you bleached it; your hair is just tinted red. You look hot."
"Says the lesbian!"
Robin looked like she was about to protest until a sudden noise came from the living room.
"Robs! I'm home! I got the Vaseline you asked for, which I still don't understand what you need for." Steve's voice echoed throughout the apartment.
Robin got a wicked grin on her face, one Eddie had never seen before. It was worse than her idiot face. "Well, if my lesbianism offends you so greatly, why don't we get someone who's more your style? Hmmmm?"
Eddie scrambled after Robin, who was already wrenching the door wide open, "No, please. Robin, I'm sorry! I won't ever question you again!"
It was too late; Robin was a woman on a mission. "Oh, Steven dear! Would you please make your way to the bathroom? I want your opinion on something."
Eddie debated making a break for it through the window. His hopes were destroyed seconds after when he remembered they were on the third floor.
Steve sighed, but his footsteps approached the bathroom. "Not even my name, Robin. And I swear if you are asking me if you have a mustache again, I will—" Steve stopped at the sight of Eddie. Silence filled the room as he stared.
Maybe Eddie could survive with a broken foot.
Robin pinched Eddie when she noticed his line of sight. "Ow! This is homophobia!"
Eddie's yelling seemed to snap Steve out of it. "New hair?" He hadn't moved from his spot in the entryway, seemingly rooted to place. A faint blush dusted his cheeks as he eyed Eddie.
Eddie pulled a piece of hair in front of his mouth, suddenly nervous. "Yeah, it—uh—it looks silly, I know. The box said blue, and it was supposed to make the black deeper, and someone switched the dye—"
"Can I get a closer look?" Steve interrupts.
"What?" Eddie startled.
This time, Steve stepped forward, placing himself in Eddie's space. His fingers brushed the hair out of Eddie's hands to behind his ear. "Do you mind if I...?"
Eddie nodded frantically as all words escaped him.
Steve's thumb brushed Eddie's cheekbone, a gentle rhythm to soothe him. Steve moved his hand into Eddie's curls, never once breaking eye contact. "Pretty."
It was Eddie's turn to blush, "Tha—thanks. I am, uh, know it's strange."
As Steve hummed, Eddie could hear Robin fake gagging in the background. Eddie kicked her shin. "Sure, it could be strange. But I think that's fitting for you. Besides, I think any color would look nice on you. This one is especially gorgeous, though." Steve's hand lingered on the back of Eddie's neck as he stroked his hair.
Eddie was going to pass out. "Really?"
"Yea, Eds. You're always beautiful."
The two stared for a moment, lost in each other. Eddie wondered if this moment meant something. The glimmer in Steve's eye told him yes.
A throat cleared behind them, "As lovely and obviously very straight as this moment is, are you over your breakdown now? Can I go study?"
Steve laughed but didn't let go of the back of Steve's neck, the moment not quite as broken as Eddie thought it would be.
"Yea, Robs, go study. Think I'm going to braid Eddie's new hair for him."
Eddie was sure his cheeks matched his hair, red and blotchy. Steve seemed to like them both, though, so he made sure not to complain again.
"Disgusting." Robin pushed her way through the both of them, throwing an "A thank you would be nice!" over her shoulder.
"Thank you, Robin!" Eddie shouted, eyes never leaving Steve.
Steve tugged on a curl and grinned, "Yea, thanks, bobby!"

hi!! im pretty sure your requests are open, but if they’re not feel free to ignore this. i keep thinking about holding steve’s hand or like holding onto his bicep. especially in public and with a shy reader. i just want a steve and i want him to hold my hand when im feeling anxious
thank you for ur request! ♡ shy!gn!reader | 1k words
Steve can see you hesitating from the corner of his eye. The lunch club (minus its Californian counterparts) have all somehow managed to fit inside the 733i, survive the journey up to Indianapolis city centre, and now meander through a mall that feels bigger than Hawkins' in its entirety.
Robin and Max are talking about something Steve is too 'boy' to understand, apparently, and you're getting your ear talked off by Eddie and Dustin, though their nerd explosion seems pretty self contained. You're more of a bystander than an active part of the conversation.
And Steve knows it isn't their fault that you're anxious. It's just how you get sometimes, especially in places like this: it's loud, it's busy, people rush past and don't stop.
He holds his hand out across the way. You smile at him shyly and move from Eddie's left, almost stepping on Dustin's rubber toes as you cross the walkway and take Steve's hand.
Your hand is cold. He gives your fingers a good squeeze and pulls you close, your elbows brushing with every step forward.
"Look, there it is!" Dustin says excitedly.
Steve looks forward and finds a bad dream in front of him – a nerd store. Dork paraphernalia lines the windows, merchandise and action figures, posters boasting comic books and the newest sci-fi novels.
"Oh my god," he groans, tipping his head back just slightly. The ceiling is out of reach, big glass skylights that showcase the blue sky outside. "I can't believe we're gonna waste one of the hottest days of the year here."
Your fingers jump in his. He pulls his gaze back to you and is less than pleased with what he finds. You're tense, your back a stiff board, your shoulders rising slowly towards your ears and your eyes glued to the floor.
"Don't be a jock," Max says.
"Let's not stereotype our dear Stevie," Eddie says, his voice so smooth he knows what's coming before it happens, "he's not a jock. You have to actually play a sport to be a jock. Steve's more like, a washout." He says 'washout' with feigned perplexion.
Steve knows he's only joking – Eddie's funny, and despite any better judgement Steve really likes him these days. It's the perfect invitation for some bantering back and forth. He can feel something scathing on the tip of his tongue and Eddie looks excited to hear it, but you make this really small sound that stops Steve dead. A ragged inhale.
He smiles at Eddie and the metalhead looks surprised and then understanding, him and Robin ushering the kids inside the store.
You're in your own head enough not to notice their departure.
Steve walks past the store slowly, squeezing your hand in time to a song he can't hear. "Babe, are you hungry? I saw a pretzel stand somewhere on the map."
You blink and look up at him. You finally notice that you're alone and turn in a half circle, your joined hands tugging against your chest as you do. "Where did everyone go?"
"That weird nerd haven. I'm selfish so I thought we'd give it a miss. Do you care?" he asks lightly.
Your smile is chest-aching in its softness. "No. And yeah, uh… I'm hungry if you are."
He takes his hand from yours and draws close, head inclined to yours as he takes your warm cheek into his palm. "Thanks, baby. You're the best."
Your expression slackens. Steve loves to get you like this, loves to melt you to the bone with small, soft touches and pet names that you clearly adore even when you scold him like you do.
"Stop," you whisper. You're smiling so much it barely sounds like a word, more a fond sound, the 'o' completely disappearing.
"Sorry," he says. He moves his hand to kiss your cheek where it had been and then taps your shoulder lightly. "It's this way."
Your hand tucks itself between his torso and his arm, fingers curling around his bicep. Steve worries he might blush at your careful touch, feeling shy himself for once as he walks you both through the crowd to join the line for pretzels.
"You okay?" he murmurs to you.
You step closer until the side of your converse touches his. "It's… yeah, I'm okay."
"No, tell me. Honestly," he says, gentle but pleading.
Your hand tightens incrementally around his skin. He covers your fingertips peeking out with his hand and leans down, waiting. Your head drops into his arm.
"I'm really okay, it's only…" Your voice lightens a little. "My heart's, like, racing."
He isn't happy to hear that. "God, I'm sorry. I'll try to stop being so handsome," he jokes in efforts to get you to smile.
It works. You laugh, bringing your other hand to his arm as you say, "It would be a big help."
And to hear you joking around is always something he can't handle, it makes him weirdly, stupidly happy.
He laughs a riot and you come apart, drifting away from each other to giggle. Your hand stays firmly wedged in that place between his arm and his chest, but your grip relaxes.
"Just- you know. Let me know if you need to find somewhere quiet, okay?" he asks.
"I will. Thanks, Stevie." You say it like you're embarrassed, your eyes to the floor again. He wrinkles his nose.
"You're welcome. If you wanna find somewhere secluded for other reasons, I wouldn't be opposed to that either. For your information only, of course."
"Other reasons," you repeat wryly, giving him a knowing look from under your lashes.
He winks at you. It's not a good wink. You giggle and a lot of the stiffness you'd held before falls away. Not all of it, but Steve thinks it's a pretty good start.

Nobody spends their spring break praying for it to be over…except maybe for me. I used to spend my spring breaks at Eddie Munson’s trailer playing D&D and listening to whatever metal albums we had all put enough money together to buy. Now I spend them at endless parties praying that whatever is in my cup will be enough to drown out my hatred for the people I now surround myself with. I would kill to be back at Eddie’s trailer playing D&D and listening to Black Sabbath, I would kill to be anywhere but Lovers Lake with a beer I didn’t even want in my hand.
Eddie became my best friend in 6th grade when I moved to Hawkins. Back then, I was pretty awkward and pretty angry at absolutely everything. My dear old dad had packed up everything and left me and my mom to try to survive on our own, so we moved back to my mom’s hometown of Hawkins, Indiana. It was nothing compared to back home in New York. I hated it, I hated my dad, I hated everything. But then I met someone who understood my anger, someone who knew exactly how I felt. His name was Eddie Munson. He was dorky as shit but also the coolest kid I had ever met. His hair was buzzed, he wore band tees, and he hung out with a girl who was just as cool as him. Veronica Ecker, or just Ronnie for short. She was tall with dark hair and a baseball cap she refused to ever take off.
I remember walking in on my first day of 6th grade at Hawkins Middle. I was oh so lucky to be a new student on Halloween day. Everyone was in costume, I was just in an orange sweater and black jeans. I couldn’t afford a costume and we had thrown out all my old ones in the move. We couldn’t bring too much with us to Hawkins. There were already rumors about me before I had even stepped foot on school grounds. Rumors that I moved there because I got kicked out of every school in New York for starting fights. Another rumor spread that I was somebody from a government experiment that they had planned to plant at the school for research. It’s impressive just how creative 6th graders can get. The truth was too boring for them and nobody had cared to hear it, well, not nobody. Eddie Munson had waltzed up to me as I sat on the bleachers, he was wearing a pair of devil horns, a big grin spread across his face. “You’re the new girl, right?” He had asked.
“If you’re gonna ask me about the rumors then they’re both true and you should definitely avoid me,” I said sarcastically. I couldn’t help being defensive after having kids whisper about me all day, giggling to one another about how weird I was.
“Nah, they’re bullshit. You don’t look like you could win any fights against anybody,” Eddie joked.
I liked him from that very moment.
“You don’t know that, I bet I could take you, shrimp,” I joked back. It was the first time in a while that I had smiled, the first time in a while there was anything in my eyes besides anger.
“You know, maybe you could…but just think of all the people we could take on as a team,” he smiled. His smile is infectious and the grin on my face got even wider.
“You’re right…we’d be a great team…I’m Viv, by the way,” I said, sticking out my hand for him to shake. I had cracked royal blue nail polish on my nails and a variety of different rings I had found in my mom’s things littered both hands. His hands weren’t much different than mine, his nails had clearly been chewed short and he also had his own assortment of rings.
“Eddie, Eddie Munson…”
From that moment on we were friends. He introduced me to Ronnie and then in 7th grade we met Dougie and he joined our group. We had all even performed together in our school's talent show. They had me on vocals because I couldn't play any instruments and I would say that I killed it but half of Hawkins wanted us dead or expelled after that so maybe it’s for the best if I forget it ever happened. Or if I forget that anything had ever happened with that group at all. It’s so strange to know that the people who had taken me in and became my first friends here are the ones who hate me most now. I can’t say I blame them though…
When high school started we were all losers, I mean we were losers in middle school too but it became even more obvious once we hit high school. Jocks hated Eddie and Dougie, targeting them constantly. The cheerleaders and preppy girls had it out for me and Ronnie as well. Nothing says ‘Loser’ like getting trash dumped on you or having to memorize your friends' locker combinations for every time they were stuffed into their own locker and needed you to get them out. For all of Freshman and Sophomore year, I was called ‘Pizza Face’ or told that I was ‘flat as an ironing board’ y’know just all the best things you could say to a deeply insecure teenage girl whose hormones had favored developing acne over developing breasts.
We had taken our love for D&D with us into high school and created a safe haven for people like us, the freaks and the outcasts. Eddie called them his ‘lost little sheep’ and it became his mission to find them…but it turns out a lot of those other freaks and outcasts had believed the lies fed to them about D&D being satanic so attendance was lacking. Nonetheless, we had somewhere we felt safe and it was exactly what we needed. Eddie became our leader, which sadly meant he’d get the most shit from bullies like Tommy H.
There was nobody worse than Tommy H. His father owned the biggest and most successful car dealership in town. On top of that, he was also a star athlete (which is shocking considering how awful he is at pretty much everything I’ve ever witnessed him do) and that meant he could get away with whatever he wanted. He’d always go after Eddie, he’d start shit with him and then go crying to Principal Higgins about how Eddie had started it and there started Eddie’s record of so-called bad behavior. Being a Munson means it’s practically impossible to do anything and not get shit for it, Tommy knew this and used it to his advantage. He used Eddie as a punching bag and would get away with it, hell most of the time Eddie was the one taking the blame when Tommy would walk away without a scratch on him. And all of this makes me hate myself even more for what I did to Eddie…what I did to all of them…
It was the summer right before the start of junior year. I had been in New York visiting family for June and most of July. I had called Eddie almost every day to let him know about my trip, I did leave out a few key details though…the details of how I had gotten my braces off, how I had finally found something that fixed my acne problems, and most importantly I kept it a secret that I had finally started to develop. I had always had a bit of a crush on Eddie, as we had gotten older it had only gotten worse. I’ve never been good with relationships, my first kiss came from a game of Spin the Bottle in 8th grade. It was awkward, messy, and something I’d pay thousands to erase from the minds of all who witnessed it. I had a boyfriend at one point too, I’d use the term boyfriend very loosely though. It was Charlie Stump, he was a loser like me and we ‘dated’ Freshman year. Our relationship consisted of holding hands and sharing one kiss before he broke it off because he thought metal music was satanic. He was just something to fill the void that I had hoped Eddie would fill instead.
Ronnie had told me about the time Eddie had tried to kiss her when they were 13, I remember wishing it had been me instead, I would’ve let him kiss me whenever he had wanted. Me and Eddie were complicated…we were flirty with one another but whenever someone would address it we’d both claim it was a joke. I lied every single time. I cherished every single touch I got from him, they all felt electric. I cherished every time we’d hold hands to cross the street or to lead one another through a crowd, I cherished the kisses he’d give me on the cheek or forehead whenever I had saved his ass from his bullies, I cherished how he’d hold me against him when we’d watch horror movies. I was never really scared, but he never had to know that. I was lovestruck, but I knew he’d never feel the same. I saw how certain girls would catch his eye, preppy cheerleaders, good girls, girls that were nothing like me. Girls with perfect skin, perfect teeth, perfect bodies, perfect lives. I couldn’t compare.
When I had finally started to look like the girls that caught his eye I was overjoyed. It was stupid, I felt good because I thought I would finally have a chance with my best friend. My best friend who had been designated as the freak of Hawkins High. His house was my first stop when I returned from my trip to New York. It was late but his trailer was only about a mile from the apartment complex I lived in with my mother. I had put on my best outfit, something that would surely make him swoon. It was a black denim dress, it buttoned up and the skirt flared out at the bottom, it was cute. I had even learned to do nicer makeup when I was visiting my cousins. I switched out my heavy eyeliner for something more soft and subtle. Something that girls that he likes would wear. I walked over with a smile on my face and hope in my heart. This would be the night I would win him over…or so I thought.
When I arrived at the Munson residence I was met with the site of an unfamiliar car parked in front of the trailer. It was way too nice to belong to Wayne or Eddie, it was out of place for Forest Hills Trailer Park. My heart was beating faster as I became anxious. Every step I took towards his door felt heavy, it was like my body was slowly becoming filled with lead. I took a deep breath and I finally was at his door. I knocked and waited. It took him a minute to answer the door and when he did I was shocked. He was shirtless and his hair was a mess, there were a few hickeys scattered across his neck and collarbones, he looked hot. But once I got over how good he looked I was overtaken by jealousy. It looks like somebody beat me to it.
“Holy shit…I was not expecting you, Viv,” He chuckled. He was almost unaware of his appearance, unaware that it’s pretty obvious what he’d been doing.
“I-I just got back into town…I wanted to surprise you…I guess you’re busy…”
Before Eddie could respond I saw a girl walk up behind him, I recognized her instantly and became filled with rage. Nicole fucking Summers. The goddamned bitch who had been tormenting me since 6th grade, she was the one who made up the rumors about me moving to Hawkins for getting expelled from every school in New York. She’s the one who cut off a chunk of my hair in 7th grade, the one who told everyone I still wore a training bra in 8th grade. She was the one who started calling me ‘Pizza Face’ in Freshman year, going as far as to get all her friends to throw slices of pizza at me at lunch. Sophomore year she had stolen my clothes after gym when I was in the shower and I was forced to find them in just my underwear. Out of anyone he could’ve fucked, out of anyone he could’ve lost his virginity to why the fuck did it have to be her. Sure his options are slim but I was right there.
I was beyond stunned when she began to speak. “Vivi, is that you? You look…different. I guess you grew out of your ugly duckling phase, huh?” She teased. She was in one of Eddie’s shirts, her makeup smeared and her neck was covered in hickeys just like Eddie’s. It took everything in me to not break both of their noses right then and there.
“I’m just gonna go. Clearly, you’re busy,” I spat out at Eddie. He was lucky I was holding back my anger. I didn’t even let him respond before I was marching off and away from his door, once I was a far enough distance away I started to run. I screamed and I cried and I ran all the way home. My mascara burned my eyes but I ignored it. Eddie’s betrayal had hurt me worse than anything physical ever could. He didn’t notice that I changed, he didn’t care, he fucked the girl who had made my life miserable. At the time I didn’t know it was a one-time thing. She had wanted to brag to her friends about ‘taking the freaks virginity before his loser little friend got a chance.’
I locked myself in my room for days, I was beyond angry. I wanted to tear them both apart and then put them back together again so that I could do it all over again. I didn’t know what to think and I didn’t know what to do…until I did. I ignored any calls from Eddie, Ronnie, or Dougie. I told my mom that if they came looking for me to tell them I was sick. I couldn’t face any of them, if I did I wouldn’t have been able to hold myself back. I devised a plan, a plan to get Nicole back for fucking Eddie and one to get Eddie back for fucking Nicole. It was a plan that would go too far for too long. The few times I had gone out in public I had overheard something about there being a party at Steve Harrington's house. His parents were always gone and he hung out with just the people I needed for my plan.
On a Saturday night in August, I found myself on the front doorstep of the Harrington residence. I was in an almost sheer blouse, my lacy red bra showing through the material, and a mini skirt, it was nothing like I had ever worn before. My makeup and hair were perfect, I knew what these guys liked, it was exactly what Eddie liked. I took a deep breath before waltzing in, heads turning as soon as I walked in the door. I had never been to a party before and I had certainly never looked like this before. “Do you have a staring problem or something, Caleb?” I asked one of Tommy’s cronies. He was closest to me and a perfect target for my plan.
His eyes were glued to me, raking up and down my body slowly. “When Nicole said you got hot I thought she was kidding…” He said as he licked his lips. I rolled my eyes and walked towards the kitchen to find something to drink.
As I made my way into the kitchen I bumped into none other than Steve Harrington himself. He did a double-take when he saw me. “Holy shit…w-what are you doing here?”
“Can’t a girl go to a party, Harrington?” I replied. He was still sputtering and his face was all red, it felt great to fluster a man like this for once in my life.
“B-But…you…you’re-”
“I’m what? I’m a loser? An outcast? A freak? Not anymore, Harrington.”
He cleared his throat and got a hold of himself, “Where’s Munson? Aren't you two inseparable or something?”
“Not anymore…I umm…let’s just say I outgrew him.” I was totally bullshitting.
“Really?” Steve asked. He was looking at me the same way that Caleb was when I walked in.
“Really. Now do you mind showing me where you’ve got some vodka, I really need a drink.” What I needed was liquid courage, courage for the idiotic bullshit I planned to do that night. Steve led me to the vodka and I took a shot, and then another. I was on a mission but fuck I needed that to be able to succeed.
I look over at Steve and bat my eyelashes, “Hey, Stevie, do you know where Tommy’s at?”
He scratches the back of his neck as he tries to think, “Last I saw him he was outside in the pool.”
I get on my tip toes and kiss him on the cheek, “Thanks, Stevie.” His face is flushed when I walk off to go find Tommy. It doesn’t take me long, he’s lounging on one of the pool chairs with a beer in his hand. He’s not somebody I find particularly attractive but I’ll have to fake it for my plan. I smile down at him. “Hey Tommy,” I say as I bite my lip. He looks up at me with wide eyes that get even wider as he takes in my appearance.
“No fucking way…Nicole wasn’t lying…” He’s taking his time to admire me, I hate how his eyes feel on me.
“It’s amazing what a few months can do, huh? Do you…do you mind if I sit down with you?” I bat my eyelashes at him and he crumbles beneath my gaze.
“Be my guest…” His eyes are glued to my body, more specifically my chest.
“So, how was your summer?” I ask, I sit across from him with my legs uncrossed, he has a perfect view of my lacy little thong. It’s red and leaves barely anything to the imagination, it’s ideal for a creep like him. His eyes trail down to the spot between my legs and he smirks.
“It would’ve been a lot better had I known you were spending it turning into this, fuck…” He groans. I’ve got him right where I want him.
“It’s amazing what a summer away from Munson could do to a girl,” I giggle. It feels awful coming out of my mouth, worse than the vodka taste going down.
“You’re done with him, huh? Wanted to join where you should’ve been the whole time…fuck if we had gotten our hands on you sooner just imagine what you would be Vivian…” He marvels, “I knew you weren’t like them…like those freaks. Bet Munson dragged you into all that satanic shit, you’re better than that, better than him…” Tommy rambles.
“He did…I-I’m not like that anymore,” I lie through my fucking teeth.
“Yeah? You a good girl now?” Tommy teases.
“I am…can I show you just how good I am, Tommy?” I flirt.
“Harrington’s got a guest room upstairs that’ll be perfect, baby. Think of it as your initiation into the good side,” Tommy says. I think he’s exaggerating that last part, that he’s being dramatic, but after what we did that night he had no plans of ever letting me return to Eddie again.
In Sex ED they don’t tell you how needy a guy can be after a one-night stand. This was supposed to be a one-time thing that would get spread around to Eddie so that he’d hurt as bad as he had hurt me. But instead, Tommy got attached, and I became his little project. He planned to mold me into his little homecoming queen. And Eddie…Eddie was more than hurt, he hated me. I can’t blame him, I hated myself for it. I expected an angry phone call or an aggressive confrontation but instead, I was met with radio silence, not only from him but from every single one of my old friends. I went too far and had no other choice than to stay with my new ‘friends’. On the first day of Junior year I walked into school a completely different person. People had heard about my transformation and they had also heard about me hooking up with Tommy, I was already the talk of the school and first period hadn’t even started. When I said that Tommy planned to turn me into his little homecoming queen I wasn’t kidding. He made Tina and Carol take me shopping at the goddamn Gap. They picked me out new outfits, told me how to do my hair, who to talk to, what music to listen to, who to be. The worst part is that I kind of…liked it. I liked how I looked in my new outfits, I liked how my hair framed my face, hell I even liked the music they picked out. It turns out Madonna isn’t too bad when you don’t have somebody trying to shove down your throat that enjoying her music is the worst crime someone could commit.
So on the first day of school I walked in wearing a pink turtleneck, a light washed denim skirt, and a pair of knee high white boots. I felt pretty, I felt confident, I felt fucking amazing. Well I did until I saw my locker. Eddie had taken the liberty of breaking into the school and defacing my locker, in blood red spray paint the word ‘TRAITOR’ had been written for all to see. It didn’t take a genius to know it was him. He watched me walk up to it with a proud smile on his face, leaning against the lockers right across from mine. Ronnie and Dougie were beaming with him. I was raging, I wanted to punch him in the face. I wanted to yell that he was the traitor for what he did with Nicole Summers, but instead I walked up to him and simply said, “The same could be said for you. At least I wasn’t a pity fuck.” That set him off. Before I know it he’s dragging me down the hall by my arm and into the janitor's closet, he slams me against the wall and for a second I smile. Maybe in some other universe he’s dragging me in here to confess his feelings for me and to kiss me, not in this one though, in this one I ruined any chance of that I could’ve possibly had.
He glares at me like he wants me dead and I’m sure he does. He has me pinned against the wall, his face only inches from mine as he begins to speak. “You may have new friends and a new look but you’ll always be a fucking loser!” He spits. It’s an anger I’ve only heard reserved for people like Tommy. “Your new friends used to treat you like you were nothing, don’t think they won’t drop you once they get bored of you. They’ll throw you out and you’ll have nobody because you burned any bridges you could’ve had back to us. You’re fucking pathetic, Vivian.” Eddie spits in my face and walks out, leaving me to process really how bad I had fucked up. He’s right, but I can’t go back now. I don’t have that choice anymore, I lost my chance when Tommy unbuttoned my blouse upstairs at the party.
So here I am, senior year, still unfortunately friends with Tommy, Carol, and Tina. Carol had the grand idea of throwing a party at Lover’s Lake and was ready to have my head if I skipped out on one more party this week. I didn’t bother showing up in a swimsuit, I have no intentions of swimming. I’m in a red tight fitting t-shirt, black denim cutoffs that show off way more of my ass than my friends thought was acceptable, and a pair of beat up black converse. I’m standing away from most of the crowd sipping on a beer that tastes like actual piss and regretting giving into Carol's whining about how I just had to come tonight. I scan the crowd and attempt to pick out somebody who I might not hate spending my night with when I see him. He’s in a white t-shirt, ripped light wash jeans, and a pair of boots. His hair is tied up and he’s lighting a cigarette. Fuck.

@devirnis @eddiebabygirldiaz @rewritetheending @wildlife4life @lover-of-mine @daffi-990 all tagged me for fuck it Friday and I wasn't going to post anything but then as I climbed into bed the opening of a buddie supernatural au popped into my head and then tapped it's way into a google doc. I'm not actually going to write a full fic for this (probably) but sharing this little scrap feels in the nature of this tag game. It's not even Friday anymore so not going to tag anyone unless you, dear reader, see this and feel compelled to share something kicking around in a document somewhere. Fuck it! It's always Friday somewhere (if you forget how days work)! Uhhh canon typical violence warning....
Eddie isn’t a stranger to being called a miracle. A miracle baby, he was; born almost two months early when a ghoul out for revenge had tried to snack on Helena’s gray matter. Neither of them should have survived it, but a few weeks later she brought her little bundle of joy home from the hospital, wailing real loud from his big strong lungs. "It was a miracle you were there, mijo," his father told him when he was six years old and shot a man dead, a man with black eyes who’d broke into the house when he was there alone with Sophia, three years old and screaming, Ramon out on a hunt and Helena at the doctor with the baby. "You’re a miracle worker, Diaz," hunters all over the country have told him with a gritty handshake when he’s helped them put something terrible in the ground. (When Shannon had kissed him under the bleachers for the first time, that had felt like a miracle, too. Her lips were soft and her hands had the same calluses as his, she had the same faint lines across the back of her arm from the testing bite of silver blades. Here was someone who knew, who he didn’t have to lie to, who liked him enough to press all that scarred and unscarred skin together with his. Things fell apart, over and over, in the years after that, but still. That first kiss. Not feeling lonely for maybe the first time ever in his life. Was it not a divine act?) He's 28 when he crawls out of his own grave, dirt clinging to clothes and flesh and coating his mouth, his teeth, stinging his eyes. He stumbles home on wobbly legs like a newborn thing, and maybe he is one, freshly alive as he is. He knocks on his front door however many days it's been since he'd watched his own blood mix with Shannon's on the floor of some old and haunted house — clinging to life long enough to see it start to coagulate because please, god, please, they have a kid at home — and after the holy water and the silver and iron and any other test anyone in the family can think of his abuela takes his face between her hands and weeps “Es un milagro! A miracle! A miracle!”  And in a week, in a barn somewhere outside El Paso, he will learn that this time she is right.

Congrats on your milestone!!!
❤️ I would love numbers 30 and 34 from list 3 if possible- please and thank you 😊
hey hey!! thank u for being here! this was a toothrotting set of prompts for which i applaud u for dear GOD <3 i hope u enjoy it as much as i enjoyed writing it hehe - FYI: fem!reader
It’s a snot-fest, honestly.
Like anyone can blame for crying on your wedding day. Well, you call it crying but Robin had called it blubbering which might be more of an appropriate word for it. Some silly part of your soul sings when she tells you that Steve is doing no better, two doors down the hall from you, and apparently on his 2nd box of tissues already.
How the pair of you are going to survive the ceremony is beyond anyone.
You do, though. It helps that it’s not really a proper ceremony. There’s no priest, no officiant that isn’t just one of your friends. Along with a series of other undisclosed skills, Murray surprisingly has the legal power to wed you. Strange man, you think to yourself, but you’re thankful for it. Keeps the wedding among friends.
It’s small numbers, just enough of you to fill the backyard. You get married amongst the flowers, in the evening sunlight, just enough of a breeze to swish your dress. It's a perfect first event to hold in the glorious backyard of your new home.
Will had painted the bunting that’s strung above your heads, pastel and dreamy, fluttering in the wind. The bouquet in your hands was gathered by Erica and Lucas, who had taken the job very seriously, and found beautiful purple and yellow flowers from the nearby meadow. Eddie pleads Steve to let him set off fireworks after the ceremony, sneaking you a wink that tells you he probably will anyways. It's hard not to feel utterly surrounded by love.
Steve’s eyes are already red rimmed by the time you meet him at the altar.
His vows are short but bursting with love. He promises all the important things, like to always split the last pancake with you, to only use his puppy dog eyes when he really wants something, and to never let his girl go a day without a proper good kiss.
After your teenage adventures with alternate dimensions, the til death do us part comes as easy as air. And you mean it.
Despite all your practice, the kiss is a bit fumbled — too much excitement between the both of you. It‘s a bit alike to the first time you kissed Steve, way back when. This time, however, the clumsy kiss means something different all together. Steve has no shyness around kissing you; it’s his own excitement for the future trickling through. For your future together.
His warm hands hold you tightly. You don't even mind that Steve hasn't waited for Murray to tell him he can kiss the bride.
As Murray announces your official union, Eddie and Dustin yell like they’re attending a concert and not a wedding, hooting and swinging their ties above their head. Robin attempts to join them but can’t get hers undone for the life of her and instead, helicopters it around in her hand while it's still attached to her neck. Steve laughs as he steals a glance at the small crowd, the garden filled with love, and swallows, his throat thick with emotion.
He turns back to you, eyes shining, and presses his forehead down against yours. You feel full, breaking at the seams with how affection runs wild in your veins. You think you could live in this moment forever — could bottle it and drink it and get stupidly drunk with how in love you feel.
“Thanks for marrying me,” Steve murmurs, words wobbly. Words meant just for you. His eyes scan your face, the brown a bit lighter through his tears. You wonder if he’s committing this moment to memory as you are. “Wasn’t sure I’d have any takers for a minute there.”
You startle a laugh that comes out doused in emotion. A poke at the time he’d floundered for dates for more than a year after the break up with Nancy; at least, he had until you came into the picture. There’s irony in it, considering how you’d seemed to be enamored with each other from the very beginning.
You think you’ve always known you’d end up here, with him, one way or another.
“That’s okay,” It comes out awfully sentimental, even as you aim for a jest. “Any time, really.” You say, with an insistent nod and another wet-sounding laugh.
Steve’s chest tightens impossibly — he feels like he’s got no heart at all, just a cavity that you fill with burning hot love. The flowers dance in the wind behind you, your friends clap and cheer, but it all feels worlds away. There’s no room for any other emotion, just love.
“I have never loved you as much as I do right now.” He says, voice sappy beyond words. It’s genuine, the words as tender as they are softly spoken. It’s a whisper on the wind but not a secret.
You don’t need to tell him the same, he already knows. You remind him with another kiss and finally remember your friends, feet inching towards the makeshift aisle. There’s bouquets of wildflowers tied to the seats with twine. You’re in love.
“C’mon, husband.” You say, grin like starlight. Steve thinks he could hear those words forever.
join the celebration!

Hi! First off I love you're writing your very talented! And second how do you think the riddlers would react to finding out they have a teenage daughter they never knew about (how inherited there smarts and sass)and something happened to the mom so they have nowhere to go so they track him down.
Oh geez it’s dad angst time😂 this is just a bunch of boys dealing with the younger versions of themselves. Also sorry this took so long anon!
The riddlers finding out they have a teenage daughter
Warning:mentions of death
Arkham
Tumblr media
It was out of pure annoyance when he actually answers the phone after 13 missed calls from Jonathan crane.
So when Jon casually invites him over saying he needs talk to him he’s even more miffed. And then he finds this kid having tea with the dr, who the hell was she-?
“Ah Edward so nice of you to join us,this wonderful young lady has been trying to find some way to reach you.”
The her in question was a rather well put together 16 year old girl who was like a mirror of his younger years. She certainly had his eyes. Eleanor,her name was Eleanor
He’s not stupid and he puts two together quite easily.
Mom gone to cancer,the youngster was left in Gotham to survive on her own with only the understanding that he was her father. Her mother had apparently kept his tie from the fateful evening.
Apart of him him tells himself to just not bother with her,the other stronger side tells him not to be his father
Things are tense at first with moving in. He’s never really shared a space before with anyone so he’s avoidant at first. Not thinking she’s going to be much help with his projects
He is completely surprised when he finds out she knows her way around electronics
But then he realizes the kid has his photographic memory. And his sass……
“When was the last time you took a shower?” “Please explain to me a how a shower will improve any of my plans.” “Simple: you’ll stop me from dying from gross sewer dad smell.”
It irritates the hell out of him but when she start’s jabbing at the other rouges he’s a proud man.
They bond over getting work done,so much time lost yet there making up for it real quick
She created a rather wacky Rubik’s cube that left Batman puzzled for at least two days
Of course he got a kick out of taunting the dork knight while also genuinely being proud of his daughter
It’s hard to get used to hearing the word “dad” in relation to him but it’s a title he “humbly” accepts in the end
BTAS
Tumblr media
He received a knock on his door one extremely sunny morning
Gina found him after his “reformation” and partnership with wacko toys was announced to the public. It wasn’t hard tracking down a man in the spotlight
Edward is of course absolutely stunned by the realization.
To his understanding the girl from metropolis knew the basics of his criminal career. The off traps and puzzles were something well known outside of the city.
He feels out of obligation to take her in,I mean he’s a villain but not a monster. Kid gets say down with some hot coco
Of course when he is brought back to Arkham the poor kid is quick to go and visit him and calm him down as well as work on a way to get him out
He’s rather surprised when he get broken out by jervis and Jonathan and they have him a letter from his prodigy with little xoxo’s and detailed escape plans
When he does get home he pretty much is dead set on teaching her everything he possibly can,how he got the virtual reality set up to work,his more simple traps
Of course just like her dear old dad she’s quick to design some of her own.
“A nothing machine that actually does something……. Out of the box but I adore the ingenuity.” “At least it’s more safe than the vr incident”
BTAA
Tumblr media
It was another day of Eddie not being able to figure something out using the box method,unfortunately sticking two nuclear bombs and a tricycle and an old Macintosh in the box just wasn’t cutting it that day.
Cue Tuesday getting a phone call from Miss autumn at the behest of scarecrow
“Hey Eddie do you have any kids you forgot to tell me about?? “No….why?” “Oh geez”
He’s basically the surprised pikachu face meme when he meets Tina,kid was smart enough to get the drug king pin of Gotham to listen to her.
She looks so much like him!!
Of course he’s still skeptical! I mean any kid can just say there his! (But still!)
That completely disappears when the kid creates her own gizmos that rival her fathers
Of course rivaling his intellect means also rivaling his ability sass and make fun of everyone else
“A toaster with a tv screen?” “I know,I know not my best work.” “Well duh coulda thrown it in Gotham harbor and it would be more useful.”
Of course him and her quickly put their collective mind brains together and craft some rather complex new plans
Tuesday is totally chill with her around especially considering she’s able to chill him out when he’s suffering from writers block
Really Edward just got another child on top of already having miss Tuesday. He loves his two daughters from their two different origins
Zero year
Tumblr media
Moira visited his cell at Arkham shortly after his defeat at zero year
He was already not in the mood for visitors until the determined teen calls him an idiot in a lime colored pimp suit
Hey! He doesn’t need some red headed brat coming in to his cell like she owns the place!
Oh wait…….
Let’s just say that he smartens up real quick to what’s going on.
Initially wants to tell the kid to bug off,he’s got a criminal career to succeed in but she’s quick to point out he doesn’t have anything right now
So they come to an agreement: get him outta there and he’ll maybe let her crash with him for awhile
So color him surprised when she gets him out safe with minimal bruising
Hell she’s pretty damm smart he has to admit,she certainly didn’t get it from her mother
He does ask eventually what became of his ex,a car crash left the poor kid with barely much. He was kinda her best and only option go figure
He’s snarky with the kid for awhile,of course she’s very quick to throw it right back at him
But they quickly start to getting together quite well especially when they DO get into a fight and quickly realize how stupid it was to begin with
I mean c’mon,kid could probably rule Gotham in less than a week. She’s not someone he wants to scorn
She’s a pretty smart kid he guesses (he totally loves her he’s just got an ego)

While you were sleeping
Omegaverse, Steddie, mpreg

Whirring noise… click
Dear Eddie,
Where do I start? Dustin has given me this tape recorder so I can keep a diary of sorts for you. I guess we have some pretty big news to share.
We’re pregnant.
So I found out today. I’ve been feeling a bit shit, tired and achy and Robin and her big mouth joked that I could be pregnant. I think the way all the color left my face concerned her a little, so she held my hand and we did the test.
I don't want you to miss out on a single moment so here I am probably 6 weeks pregnant, taking a polaroid in profile to show you with this recording.
Any bump you see is more to do with the box of twinkies I stress ate this morning than the tiny bundle of cells making themselves at home in my womb.
I’m so scared, Eddie, I know you’ll wake up soon and laugh; we’ve been to hell, fought demons and survived, what’s scary about one little pup.
Please wake up soon.
~~~~
Nine Weeks
Morning sickness is the worst, especially at 3pm. Why do they even call it morning sickness? It's stupid and I hate it. I can’t stand the smell of tobacco, Hopper stopped by the hospital and I vomited on his shoes.
Oh yeah Hopper’s alive, he’s different, you can tell he’s been through it. 8 months is a long time to rot in a Russian jail. You don’t need to beat him by the way, we’d be happy to see you open those eyes any day.
It doesn’t feel real yet, the seedling is still just a bean, and besides the nausea and back ache I don’t feel any different.
I miss you.
~~~~~
Twelve Weeks
Doctor asked if we wanted to know the sex, I said no. I don’t want to find out without you, I want you there when we first meet our seedling. You can almost see the bump now, Robin says I’m just getting fat, maybe she’s right.
I love the way my body is changing, I’m going soft everywhere, not just my stomach, my chest, my face everything is getting soft. Nancy says I have the pregnancy glow, and my hair is the healthiest it’s ever looked. I guess pregnancy looks good on me.
Wake up soon, Eds, I don’t want you to miss this.
~~~~~
Sixteen Weeks
I had to get elastic waisted pants. You better not laugh when you hear this because this is all your fault!
Robin is going to birthing classes with me, I'm pretty sure half the group think we are a couple. I’m not in a rush to change their minds, the sad looks are getting to me. When you tell someone your partner is in hospital and you don’t know when they will come home, well, people look at you with pity and a sense of panic in their eyes. Seems people are uncomfortable with the prospect of death, and me an unmated omega, the shame.
No, I think I'll just be the turkey baster lesbian couple instead for now.
~~~~
Twenty Two Weeks
Felt her kick today, at first I thought it was just gas but then she really got going, it’s like butterflies in your stomach. I know we decided to keep the sex a surprise but I just have a feeling. Dustin did some old wives tale trick with a pendulum and agrees with me, god knows where he dug that bit of information from.
We are past the point of fitting into elastic waists and I am officially in maternity wear. I am not happy about this. The clothes are obscenely cutesy, with a wide variety of moo moos and oversized sweaters to choose from.
I’m afraid your hellfire shirt is now completely stretched out and no longer yours. I’m not giving it back.
~~~~
Twenty Five Weeks
Robin is on at me about picking a name, at least a short list, but I can’t. Seedling will suffice for now, you’ll wake up soon and we can argue about all the silly names you’ll choose. I’ve already vetoed Frodo so you can forget about that suggestion.
The nurses helped me lay beside you today. I was so tired and seedling was very active, they helped me lay your hand over my stomach and she played with you for over an hour. I would have been mad, she was really going for my kidneys but I swear I saw your eyes open, just for a moment. The doctors think I'm over tired, seeing things that aren’t there, but I know you’re still in there.
You just have to follow my voice, just follow my voice and come back to us.
~~~~
Twenty Eight Weeks
Seedlings' favorite time of day is when we are with you, she can’t seem to sit still when she’s with her daddy. I don’t know what you’ll want to be called when she arrives, but I’ve decided on Oma. I know it’s old fashioned but it feels right.
We are so close now, my back aches and my ankles are swollen and all I want is for you to hold me in your arms and tell me it’s all going to be alright.
We might stay a little longer tonight, seedling wants to feel you close and so do I.
Eddie?
Oh my god, Eddie…
Nurse, come quick he’s opened his eyes…

long story short | eddie munson x fem!reader
y/n and eddie are about to start a new chapter in their lives.
notes: au where the st4 finale did not happen. i imagine that this takes place as the same timeline with my king of my heart fic.
long story short it was a bad time, long story short i survived.
“Presenting the class of ‘86!”
Everybody in the crowd clapped as Principal Higgins started to announce the names of the graduates this year.
Y/N stood in line as she fiddled with the necklace Eddie gave to her. Of course, he was late to graduation, just like was late to every other class. She really thought that he would miss it, until she saw a mop of long, dark brown, curly hair, rushing towards the line where the graduates were as the teachers looked at him, with mixed emotions, they were either proud or relieved that he was already about the graduate. Y/N sighed out of relief as he waved his hand to catch her attention. She smiled at him as she shook her head.
“L/N, Y/N!”
A round of applause was heard as Y/N climbed up the stage as she shook hands with Principal Higgins and grabbed her diploma. She went down the stage as she made her way back to her seat.
Several names were mentioned before his name was called.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this,” Principal Higgins murmured, completely forgetting that the microphone was turned on and everybody in the crowd could here him, “Munson, Edward!”
Eddie ran up to the stage with the biggest smile on his face, that did not falter even when everybody was shocked that he was actually graduating.
Y/N noticed that literally nobody was clapping so obviously, she had to do something. She stood up and started clapping really loudly, “Woo! That’s my boyfriend!” she shouted, still clapping loudly. Then, everybody started clapping as well, out of confusion.
Eddie looked at Y/N as he flashed her a huge smile and winked at her right after. He grabbed his diploma, just as he said few weeks back, he did flip the bird to Principal Higgins and ran the hell out of the stage, taking a seat to god know where. The principal was not even mad that he did this. He was just thankful that Eddie was already out of his hair.
♡ ♡ ♡
After the ceremony, Y/N rushed to her parents where they each gave her a hug and then gave her a bouquet of lilies. She was looking around the room when she saw Eddie along with his uncle and Dustin, talking with one another.
“Eddie!” she shouted to get his attention as she ran towards him. Eddie turn to her direction as he opened his arms wide for her. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist.
“We did it, baby! ‘86!” he said as he started kissing her face. Y/N giggled as she finally let go.
“Come on! We need to take pictures with my parents!”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course! Your practically part of the family now, silly!”
Y/N grabbed his hands as they rushed back to her parents.
“Okay, one, two, three! Say cheese!”
The two posed for several pictures. Each one sillier than the previous one. Y/N noticed that Eddie started fidgeting a little. He looked at Y/N’s parents as they gave him a nod and a smile, like urging him to do something.
“Hey, Y/N? Can I speak with for a moment? Alone?”
“Yeah, let’s go,” she smiled as she grabbed his arm.
The two made it in the woods as Eddie started to become more nervous, as Y/N noticed, which caused her to become more nervous as well. Oh dear god, is he about to break up with me?, she thought, starting to feel sick in the stomach.
Eddie finally stopped walking and faced her. Eddie stared in to her eyes as he smiled before getting on one knee pulling out a ring.
“Look, listen. I know that we have talked about getting married and having kids someday. But I love you so much, and I-”
Y/N can’t even wait for him to finish his speech before screaming, “Yes!”
“I’m not yet done,” Eddie pouted as Y/N laughed slightly.
“I’m sorry, please continue,” she said, still laughing.
“I know we’re still really young but I would love to start the life we planned right now. All I’m trying to say is will you marry me, please?”
This was completely different from the Eddie she was used to. He was always so confident and full of himself. But nonetheless, she still loved him with all her heart.
“Yes! Yes, of course!”
Eddie stood up and placed the ring on Y/N’s finger as he pulled her in for a kiss.
Suddenly, a flash startled both of them as they pulled apart, looking at the source of said flash. It was Dustin who took the picture.
“Finally! God he wanted to ask you that since prom! We had to stop so many times!”
She laughed as she leaned in his chest, “Whether you proposed on prom or in ten years, I will always say yes to you, Mr Munson,” Y/N said laughing.
“I’ll keep that in mind, Mrs. Munson,” Eddie replied, winking at her as he grabbed her hand and led her towards her parents who were waiting for them.
Everything’s finally falling into place for the two of them as they headed towards the future that they both wanted.

A/N: this is what Eddie deserved. consider this as my formal apology for happiness :))

2 of my favorite movies ever Addams family and lost boys <3
They're some of my favorite movies, too! Thanks for the ask! <3
CW: Mentions of Mpreg and murder in the Addams Family one since Steve is Debbie
Addams Family Values AU: Set in Omegavers because that's what the prompter wanted, the events of the movie happen exactly the same way, except Debbie/Steve survives the events, who continues to try to murder Fester/Eddie. Slight Jargyle in this one, btw.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Steve frowned as he looked down at the frothing broth before him that Grandmama Joyce had put in front of him. To be honest, he thought that he would’ve been done with this family now. He’d tried to kill Eddie more times than he could count, much to his delight, and the whole family twice, but they only seemed to enjoy his murder attempts. Most of them took it as a sign of affection, that he cared enough to plot their murders.
“And this will get me pregnant?” Steve asked skeptically.
“No, no,” Joyce said. “It will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Since you and Eddie are having such problems conceiving, after all.”
They weren’t having problems conceiving as Steve was still taking his birth control, even though he’d told Eddie that he’d stopped. Sex was a good way to control the formerly virgin alpha, and Eddie mostly did as Steve asked in exchange for a roll in the sheets. Not that he needed to that all the time as Eddie was eager to please his new mate and bent over backwards to spoil Steve in every way possible. Steve actually enjoyed it a little, but now that he’d start trying to kill his mate, it wasn’t as if he could stop and seem like a quitter.
“I’m sure it’ll happen eventually,” he replied with a forced smile. “There’s no need to go through all this trouble on my account.”
“It’s no trouble, dear. You’re family, after all. Until death do us part.” Joyce laughed at that and winked, as if the two were sharing an inside joke about Steve’s murder attempts. “I want to see you and Eddie start one of your own.”
“That’s so kind of you, Grandmama. We truly appreciate how much you care for us.”
“I know.” She then placed her hands over Steve’s lovingly. “We all know. Don’t think I didn’t catch that arsenic you slipped in my tea earlier. So sweet of you.”
“Of course. Anything for my dear family.”
It was just Steve’s luck to come across the only family that used arsenic and cyanide as seasonings. He didn’t think he’d done anything to deserve such rotten luck. His parents had it coming after getting him the G.I. Joe instead of the Ballerina Barbie like he asked. And his other mates hadn’t care about him, so of course they also had to go, too. There was no reason at all for karma to curse him like this.
“Go on. Don’t be shy,” Joyce insisted. “Drink up.”
Staring down at the gray, brackish liquid, Steve couldn’t help but wrinkle his nose. He knew if he did get pregnant, the baby would be the cutest in the world, because how could it not with his genetics? A baby would tie him down, and there was no guarantee that he’d make a good parent as could be an awful one like his own, ruining his child’s life by getting the wrong toy thus throwing off their whole sense of self. It was better if he found a way to finally kill Eddie, so he could move on with his life.
Still, it didn’t look like Joyce would be taking no as an answer, and he couldn’t reject the home remedy since it would raise suspicions that he was only after the Munson fortune. All Steve could do was lift the potion to his lips and chug it. He doubted whatever weird remedy that Joyce concocted would be stronger than his birth control, so he should be fine. At least, that’s what he assured himself even as he felt a dull ache in his abdomen.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lost Boys Mermaid AU: Like the movies but with murderous mermaids hunting tourists along the coastline instead. Eddie takes a liking to Steve, who is there on vacation due to his parents bringing him along on one of their business trips. Unlike the movie, the mermaids win.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Steve approached the boardwalk, hoping again to see the members of Corroded Coffin, and most of all Eddie. Their meeting the other day had honestly left an impression on him. While the crew had been a bit rowdy, they’d also been freer than Steve had ever been, so he couldn’t stop from being drawn to them, wanting a taste of the freedom that he’d never been allowed, at least for a little while before he had to leave with his parents again once their business trip was over.
Much to Steve’s dismay, they weren’t hanging by the records store where Steve had encountered them last. He was about to go in when a pair of arms caught him from behind. The grip was tight, tighter than Steve expected, but before he could struggle, he glanced down at the hands, recognizing the rings on them.
“Eddie!” Steve exclaimed happily. “I almost thought I wouldn’t see you again.”
“I promised I’d find you today, didn’t I? Couldn’t let my sweetheart down.”
Eddie then released him, allowing Steve to turn to face him. He was wearing the same heavy leather jacket and chains that he had on previously, looking just as devilishly handsome as when Steve first met him yesterday. A grin spread across Eddie’s face as their eyes met, causing red to blossom on Steve’s cheeks as he blushed.
“Though you really shouldn’t be wandering around alone,” Eddie added while running a finger down Steve’s cheek. “They’ve been finding the bodies of tourists along the beach. Wouldn’t want anything to gobble you up while I wasn’t looking, Stevie.”
Despite the morbid topic, the red on Steve’s cheeks grew, unaccustomed to being flirted with first. Steve usually had to be the one to make the opening move, jump through hoops to get the person’s attention. Even with Steve’s parents, he had a hard time getting them to acknowledge him unless he specifically made his presence known to them. So, Eddie treating him like this, like Steve was something special was enough to make Steve’s heart warm no matter compliment.
“If it was you, I don’t think I’d mind being gobbled,” Steve replied coyly.
“I’d be careful, princess. You might regret it if I took a bite out of you. I wouldn’t let go until I had every piece of you for myself.”
“Like I said, I don’t think I’d mind. I want to give you every piece of me.”
Eddie leaned in, as if to kiss him, but instead clasped a white shell necklace onto Steve’s neck. A shiver ran down Steve’s spine, feeling strange, like his throat was suddenly dry. Steve grasped at Eddie’s jacket to steady himself and clung to the fabric as if his life depended on it, which caused a deep chuckle to rumble out from Eddie’s throat.
Then Eddie brought his lips close to his ear, “There’s a pearl earring to match.”
The breath against Steve’s ear made him inhale sharply and nod, even though his parents would kill him if they saw him with an earring. They were traditionalists and didn’t think men should wear jewelry other than maybe a fancy watch. However, when Eddie whispered the words to him, he couldn’t bring himself to care about what his parents thought, and only wanted to do what would please Eddie the most.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Slowly she woke up again and filled the dull aching pain in her head. Black spots stretched through her vision and only made the room seem darker. Slowly her body came out of its stupor. She hissed as her fingers lightly ran over her aching head.
It took her a moment to realize that she was not in her bed. That she wasn't in her home. That she wasn't having her morning coffee and hearing the meow of her cat. There was only silence and a dim light from a naked incandescent fixture hanging from the ceiling like a hanged man.
Slowly she straightened up and her vision was still slightly blurred from the collision with Micheal. When she looked down, she found the wedding dress still on her. A reassuring fact and she listened to herself. After a brief moment of silence, she breathed a sigh of relief, as far as she could tell, the eleven had not yet taken advantage of her.
At least she hoped they hadn't, although she would rather be unconscious than conscious when it happened. She looked around but it was the room she had woken up in since her first fainting spell. But the knife, her gift from Michael, was nowhere to be found.
The knife was gone. Where is it? I had it with me, she thought, remembering that she had dropped it. She cursed softly and slowly got out of bed. The blanket was pushed aside before she slowly put her feet on the cold floor. Goosebumps covered her body because of the few clothes.
She listened, but she was not aware of any of her tormentors. But she wasn't sure about Freddy and Pennywise, who could have been anywhere. She was especially surprised that Freddy had not tormented her in her dream. When she looked at her ankle
she was relieved to see that there was no chain. But whether this was good or bad she did not know.
On the one hand, it meant that she could walk around freely, which was good. But it also meant that she would probably have to go to her killers. Humiliating. But if she were chained here, the chance that they would all jump her after one would probably be greater.
Slowly she went to the door and to her great surprise it opened. Is it a trap? she asked herself, but still she ventured further. Her feet touched something soft and cold and she looked down. It was rose petals. The flowers, however, were no longer fresh and collapsed when she touched them and lifted them up. Next to them lay a letter written in beautiful script. She opened it and read,
Darling come to me I have a surprise for you.
Your loving husband Eddie Gluskin.
A shiver ran down her spine as she repeated the words over and over as if it would change anything. But it didn't and what she knew was. She probably wouldn't survive another swearing session. Her body would not withstand it and even Micheal was not gentle with her. Instead of slamming her against the car, he could have just grabbed her. He was strong enough for that, he had the muscles.
She shook her head and only then did she remember her car keys. I have to find the key first and then get out of here she said to herself and she knew that she could not escape her slightly changed fate.
How bad would it get before the sex that might be good if they were merciful to her. Was there still the option that they would kill her at the latest when Eddie found out that she couldn't have children?
She briefly put a hand on her stomach before gripping the letter tighter and following the rose petals. She knew that they would most likely lead her to Eddie's room, but she hoped that none of the others would. Because she could not judge Eddie's reaction to her escape.
Slowly the roses came to an end and she stood in front of Eddie's door. Her hands trembled slightly as she knocked on it and received an Come in. Her eyes went to the floor as she closed the door and took a step into the room. ,,Darling, there you are at last, look at everything for you," Eddie said happily and she lifted her head.
The room reminded her of one from the sixties, thrown together with what they had and pictures of families hanging everywhere. There was a sewing machine in one corner and a doll next to it on which he must have made the dress. Light, pleasant classical music played in the background and if you left out Eddie, the room had a reasonably pleasant atmosphere.
Had it not been for the large marital bed that seemed to be his pride and joy. And Eddie himself who was now standing in front of her. ,,It's...pretty," she said hesitantly, avoiding his gaze. ,,Yes, it's wonderful, I built it especially for us. Our home. Our children's home," he purred, taking the letter from her hand and placing it on the table with the sewing machine. Suddenly he knelt down in front of her and put his hands in hers.
He kissed her gently and seemed to want to end the trembling. ,,Darling my Y/N don't be afraid. I will be good to you not like...my father and uncle to me. I promise I will take care of our children. Even if you are not a virgin. The demon didn't take the wonderful thing from you," he murmured, looking hopefully into her fearful, uncertain expression. ,,Or is there something you want to tell me? What is the reason you ran away, darling?" he asked several times and stood up abruptly before pushing her against the door, his hands gripping hers tighter. ,,My Rose lies are not good in a relationship you know?" he whispered and she felt his hot breath on her ear.
She jerked away but Eddie wrapped her hands even tighter so that she was afraid they would break. ,,You're hurting me Eddie" she said and the fear got a grip on her again.
He looked at her, his bright eyes wandering over her form, lingering briefly on her breast. ,,No, my love, you are hurting me. I'm not lying to you look I'm telling you a secret and you're telling me mhh how does that sound?" he said and his hands slackened a bit to show her that he was serious.
Hesitantly and uncertainly she nodded in agreement and Eddie seemed relieved. ,,I'll start, I have to admit you're not my first wife. There were many...very many before you. But none could even come close to you, my darling. Can you forgive me, I promise I will love only you" he said and she heard the slight break in his voice as if he was about to cry. ,, It's okay. I forgive you" Y/N said and gave him a small smile hoping he would let go of her. ,,I'm glad you're so kind, now why did you run away?" he asked and his eyes fixed on hers. She couldn't escape his gaze and yet her head was spinning desperately trying to find an excuse.
,,I-I guess there was no particular reason I was afraid. I-I wanted to spend the night with you first, I was afraid one of the others would be," she stammered, but found it wasn't such a bad lie.
Eddie checked her out and she saw herself dead on the floor, but instead he brushed a strand of hair out of her face and gave her a kiss on the forehead. ,,Darling, that's just wonderful of you. You are so incredibly good to me. So good for me," he murmured to her, causing an unwanted blush to appear on her cheeks. ,,But that's not why you hesitated. I saw it in your eyes. Is there something you don't want to see our children grow up?" he asked, and his expression seemed to change to a mixture of madness and anger.
She flinched and startled when he showed her his knife. Slowly and gently, he drew the tip across her skin, leaving red strokes on her arm. Before he went further up and arrived at her neck. She could feel the cold metal against her throat. The heartbeat underneath it was captivating. She whimpered as she felt the point right in front of her right eye.
One sting, one sting would be enough and she would be blind. ,,Say it, honey. Come on, it's not that hard, I'm not going to kill you yet, honey," Eddie continued to purr and his fingers stroked her neck. ,,So excited...so aroused" he purred as he felt the heartbeat. The knife came a little closer and it took one more and then he would poke her eye out. ,,I-I can't have children...it's a genetic defect," she said in defeat, still fixing the knife.
Eddie pulled out and Y/N squinted her eyes before crying out. But the pain or blindness did not come. Instead, the knife was stuck in the door next to her head, moving slightly. Tears had come to her eyes and panic gripped her body when she saw the look on Eddie's face. He looked like he was going to rip her head off or worse at any moment.
Then his arms wrapped around her body before he lifted her bridal style and carried her to the bed.  Y/N tried to push away from him but she only met tense muscles and two strong arms holding her.
She cried out when he threw her onto the bed with a jerk and she got a short veil again. ,,You stay there!" he hissed and
Y/N stopped trying to escape before she pushed herself backwards as best she could.
Her eyes did not leave Eddie's face, but they did not linger long on his face, but continued downward. Her husband had unbuttoned his shirt and taken off his suit vest so that his abdominal muscles were visible. She stopped for a moment at his midsection as her eyes fixed on the bulge in his pants.
Oh fuck was the only thing she thought before the bed creaked and Eddie came towards her. ,,Please don't, I can't give you children" she tried as Eddie grabbed her by her ankles and pulled her towards him, which was met with a startled noise from her.
Her breath was fast and frightened by the danger around her. While his was deep and rather excited. A mixture of two feelings that collided. His hand grabbed the dress at her breast and with a strong jerk it was torn from her body. Startled by the cold, she got goose bumps and tried to hide her exposed parts with her hands.
Her pleading and fearful gaze met his fierce one. ,,Please, I beg you, don't," she pleaded, but when he came closer, she just jerked away. She could feel his warm breath on her ear. It reminded her of a wild animal. Of a hunter who was about to kill his prey. ,,Do not be ashamed, my wife. It may be that you think you can't have children. But our love is stronger than that" he whispered and started to kiss her neck.
Despite his crazy two-faced nature, he was surprisingly velvety. A Gentelman, she thought, and under other circumstances she might have thought of him as a one. She wanted to push him away, but when he grabbed both her wrists and tied them to the bed rail with his tie, he gave her a dreamy look. He could just bend her like a doll as he wanted, she was his toy. His pretty lustful toy.
She admitted that with the partners she had she had done bondage but it was consensual and not forced. This was something completely different, Eddie had been holding her far too tightly as if he was afraid of losing her. ,,So beautiful my pretty wife you are so lovely" he purred and his hands clasped her bared breasts.
Despite that they were rough, his touches were almost tender. He seemed to know what to do and she admitted it was pleasant. She gasped as his tongue ran over her nipples and she noticed how her attempt to escape became less.
He sucked on the sensitive spots while his other hand played with her other one and tweaked it slightly.
It wasn't long before she felt the tingle on her breasts. Redness spread over her cheeks she didn't have to look at them to know that they had hardened. ,,I bet you taste fantastic" he purred and started sucking on her sensitive nipples. Reluctantly, her body took over and surrendered to the pleasure.
She pressed her thighs together and whimpered. Her hips pressed lightly against his thigh, trying to get more of the arousing sensation. ,,So impatient" he commented, but let go of her breasts. He kissed his way up her décolleté to her neck where he began sucking on her carotid artery.
Eddie was rewarded with sweet sounds and she knew he was intentionally leaving the marks in the visible places. When he was done, he surveyed his work and smiled dreamily. He ran his thumb over it and stopped for a moment at her neck. He felt her rapid pulse and she looked at him uncertainly but with dilated pupils. ,,You are mine. My wife. My family. My property. My obsession" he murmured to her before his lips laid on hers and his tongue drove into her mouth.
It was clear that he was going to dominate, his whole presence was dominance. It was clear that she would adapt from the survival aspect. But she shamefully admitted here in this moment she submitted voluntarily.
She wanted it. She wanted him. She wanted the arousing feeling. She wanted the pleasure. She wanted the sex.
,,E-Eddie please," she whimpered as he finished his kiss and looked at her. His thumb brushed her lips and he seemed to consider. ,,So you have accepted it. I am proud of you my wife" he announced proudly and kissed his way down her body. ,,Let's give you your reward good girl" he praised and his hands went between her slightly opened thighs. He roamed along the soft flesh of her thighs before spreading kisses on the skin and starting to suck on it. ,,So gentle," he murmured and continued to praise her with sweet words. She moaned in shame as she let Eddie bite her in the soft flesh.
,,My wife verything about you is mine" he told her and the two pairs of eyes met. They were both driven by lust and gave in to their desire. Although it was not enough to bleed, the marking would probably remain for the time being. Her hips moved towards him as he stroked her clitoris with his cold fingers. ,,So sensitive and wet," he murmured as he let his fingers wander further.
But it was true during the whole process she could feel the wetness between her thighs. It was embarrassing, but Eddie seemed to see it as just another incentive.
His two fingers alone filled her up a lot, they were nothing to her or her toys she had at home. It was completely different to have someone completely unknown on and inside of her. She shuddered but reached out to meet Eddie's fingers.
For a few more moments he pleasured her with his fingers and tongue before he noticed the slight trembling of her legs. ,,What's wrong my dear?" he asked softly and she saw the grin on his lips.
But she just shook her head and tried to suppress her mumbling noises. ,,You just have to tell me," he tried, kissing his way down her body again before biting into her sensitive nipples. ,,Ah Eddie please...fuck me" she blushed and turned away in embarrassment.
,,Good girl" he praised her before she heard him open his pants and take them off. Her eyes stayed for a moment on his hardened cock which he stroked lightly.
" This is not going to fit" she thought and was now more unsure of her entire situation.
However, Eddie seemed to be able to think of only one thing.
,,Just enjoy it" he mumbled hastily before she felt his cock inside her. They both moaned with her having a hard time getting used to the big one.
But the other took no notice of that. Before she could even ask him to slow down he had already picked up his pace. ,,Eddie sto-stop too much" she gasped and tried to get used to the feeling.
She felt his hands on her hips as he gripped tightly and set the pace. She knew it would leave a mark. ,,So good for me. So tight my darlin so fucking good for me" it came breathlessly over his lips and he bent over to seal her lips. The moaning and gasping sounds of the two died down and they gave themselves to the kiss.
When he pulled away and suddenly put her thigh over his shoulder and thrust too she moaned loudly. Eddie paused for a moment watching her excited expression and seemed to know what he had done. His thrusts became wilder and after a few moments she was only fixated on the sensation.
While he thrust wildly and held onto her hips with one hand, he kept running the other over her pulsating clit. She felt her insides gradually tighten and the tingling sensation in her belly increase. ,,Eddie I'm about to cum" she told him and she felt the sensation increase. ,,Oh, so good for me, you're going to look wonderful as a mother. Your belly when it swells and your breasts fuck so good" he murmured to her and she felt the thrusting of his cock.
But what surprised her was that it was just these words that made her insides tighten.
With a few more thrusts and the sweet enticing words of Eddie she came moaning his name. Only a few moments later Eddie came as well, putting his hand on her belly and murmuring something to himself.
Exhausted, she lay on the bed, but after Eddie had untied her, he did not move away from her. Her wrists hurt but she didn't complain for what she got. Exhausted but slightly surprised, she looked at him.
,,I will get you pregnant, my darling, just a little more" he said and gave her a kiss on the head.
In fact, after a few more minutes he withdrew and put the white blanket over her form. She wanted to ask him for a towel, but when she saw Eddie's warning look, she stumped. He lay down next to her and hugged her from behind. ,,You are my beautiful wife," he whispered before she fell asleep from exhaustion.
CHAPTER ONE OF "POISON"
Tumblr media
You sighed and you walked out of your apartment.
"Morning Mrs. Chen." You said as you walked into the small convenience store by your apartment.
"Good morning (Y/n), have you found yourself a date yet?" She asked.
"Hahahah." You laughed sarcastically as you grabbed your favorite drink from a freezer.
"How's your job going?" She asked as you walked up to the counter.
"Great. The people I work with are great."
The bell rang again and a man walked in.
"Good morning, Eddie." Ms. Chen said.
"Morning Ms. Chen." Eddie, your friend and neighbor said walking in.
"How are you and Annie?" She asked and he walked towards you quickly.
"We broke up."
"Oh dear." She said.
Eddie walked up to you and grabbed you by the shoulder. "Eddie, what happened?" You said.
"I went to report that damned criminal who sent those people into space and-"
"And let me guess. You insulted him to his face, got Annie fired and then she broke up with you."
"How did you- did she already tell you about it?"
You nodded. "Yes."
He sighed. "I need you to help me."
"With?"
"Breaking into his lab."
"Eddie!" You said. "I'm not breaking into the guy's laboratory!"
"Please (Y/n), I need to prove to my boss that this guy's a criminal and so that Annie can get her job back and get back with me."
"Eddie even if she gets her job back I don't think-"
"I'll buy you dinner afterwards."
You stared at him for a few seconds before sighing and crossing your arms.
"If you do that and pay for my rent for the next month then I'll do it."
"Yes! Oh thank you (Y/n). I could kiss you!"
"Please don't." You said pushing his face away from yours. "Let me buy my shit and then we can do whatever it is you want me to do."
"Alright, fair enough."
After grabbing your stuff, Eddie had you hop onto his motorcycle and he drove to the lab.
When you two arrived, there was a lady waiting by a car.
"You're here." She said. "Who's this?"
"My photographer." Eddie lied.
"Very well."
She had you and Eddie disguise yourselves under the seats and then she drove inside the lab.
Once inside she explained to the two of you what was going on.
She explained that Carlton Drake, the founder of the project, was trying to find a place for humanity to live since Earth was on the brink of collapse.
While doing so, one of the ships found a Comet that supported life on it, and the astronauts brought some specimen back.
She explained Drake believed that the key to human survival was to bond with these specimen, which are known as Symbiotes.
"Drake is having poor people sign up to be volunteers and he is killing them because the symbiotes need a match in order to survive. If it's not a match, then the host will die." She said.
"Like an organ transplant?" You asked.
"Exactly."
When you three got to a specific door. The lady said she would keep guard while you two grabbed evidence.
You two walked inside and Eddie started taking pictures of some people who dies.
"Oh my god..." You said.
Suddenly someone pounded on the glass and it scared the both of you.
"Marie?!" Eddie asked as he put his hands on the glass.
"Isn't that the poor lady who always gave you newspapers?!" You asked.
"Yeah!" He said as he began putting in codes to try and open her door.
When it didn't work, an alarm began blaring and Marie began violently twitching.
"Help me break the glass!" He said as he grabbed a fire extinguisher.
You looked around for something to grab but Eddie already broke the glass.
Marie jumped out and landed on you.
"(Y/N)!" Eddie yelled as she began to choke you.
"I'm your neighbor Marie..!" You wheezed. "Stop it..! I'm your friend..!"
Eddie pushed her off you and when he did, she collapsed and died.
"Marie?!" Eddie yelled holding her wrist.
You stood up, rubbing your neck. "Eddie we have to leave!" You yelled as you two ran out of the lab.
The alarms were blaring and you began to get a headache.
You and Eddie ran into the woods.
"You okay?" Eddie asked as you two were far away from the lab.
"I'm great." You said sarcastically. "Couldn't be better."
The next day, you got a terrible headache and you felt super dizzy and awful.
"What the hell is going on?" You asked yourself.
Suddenly you had a craving for chocolate and you grabbed some Nutella from your cabinet and you grabbed a spoon and started eating it.
After eating so much Nutella, you began to feel nauseous and you threw up in the toilet.
"What's wrong with me?" You cried as you stood up to brush your teeth.
After brushing your teeth, you looked in the mirror and sighed.
"(Y/n)."
You screamed after you heard the voice say your name because not only that, but your face distorted as well.
"I'm never drinking again!" You yelled.
You backed up, tripped over your shower curtain and hit your head causing you to pass out.
When you woke up again, you readjusted your shower curtain and picked up your phone.
You had two missed calls from your boss, and so you called him.
"Hey Mike." You said. "Sorry I don't think I'll be able to come into work today. I threw up last night and I'm not able to move. I think I caught the flu or something, I'll see you when I can." You left him a voice mail.
"Food."
You yelled when you heard a voice say "food".
"Who said that?" You asked, looking around your apartment. "Hello?"
You sat down on your couch and sighed. "What the hell is going on?"
You picked up your phone again and called Eddie.
But he didn't pick up.
"Damn it Eddie!" You yelled throwing your phone across the room.
You began feeling all sorts of weird and you rushed out of the apartment to Mrs. Chen's convenience store.
You grabbed a whole bunch of shit and began walking out with it.
"(Y/n)-!"
"Eddie will pay for it when he gets back!" You yelled.
You rushed back up to your apartment and slammed the door and began eating all the junk food.
"Do not open the door."
"Who is in my house?!" You yelled.
After you yelled that, someone knocked on the door.
You went over and opened the door and a bunch of men rushed in and held you at gun point.
"Who the hell are these people?!"
"Do you guys hear a voice or is that just me?"
The man who was supposedly the leader pulled out a walkie-talkie. "The girl has the symbiote, arrest Eddie Brock and we'll bring her back."
"Wait, I have a symbiote?!" You said. "I'm a host?!"
"Shut up!" One of the men said with a gun.
"No need to get violent." You said putting your hands up.
"What are you doing?"
That voice must be the symbiote. "I'm putting my arms up?"
"You are making us look bad!" It said, putting your arms down.
"No I'm not!" You said putting your arms back up.
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes you are!"
"No I'm not man! Stop trying to get me killed!"
"I will take care of this myself!"
"What?!"
"(Y/n). The bug." One of the men said.
You let out a little laugh and then long black tentacles shot out of your back and threw all the men against the wall.
Then you were pulled against the wall as more men rushed in and the symbiote knocked them out too.
"Outstanding! Now, let's bite all their heads off and pile the bodies up in the corner. Piles of bodies...piles of heads..."
"No!" You said. "I don't wanna eat anyone!"
Another guy tried to shoot at you but the symbiote stopped him as well and you ran out of your apartment afraid.
Then when you were cornered, you were forced to jump out of a window and you landed in someone else's apartment.
"Woah what the hell girl?!" Some dude said.
"How did you do that?!" Another dude said.
"I have no idea..."
Police started shooting at you again and you ran off.
You ran out of the apartment and found Eddie's motorcycle, with the keys still in the engine, conveniently.
"(Y/n)."
You stopped after you passed a car and the symbiote forced you to back up and look in the car window.
Instead of seeing your reflection, you saw a monster like creature.
The symbiote.
"Woah...What the hell..." You said touching your face.
"Like what you see?"
"What are you?" You asked.
Before the symbiote could answer, a drone started flying at you and ran to Eddie's motorcycle.
You started driving it and more drones flew after you.
"Oh shit!" You yelled when you symbiote started driving much faster.
"Duck!" He yelled when a drone flew above your head and a tentacle pulled your head down
"Thank you!" You said after the drone crashed and exploded.
"You're welcome."
As you continued driving, more and more drones tried attacking you.
Then cars started chasing after you.
"What do we do?! What do we do?!" You said as cars drove towards you.
The symbiote then had you fall to the ground as he gave you cover from any marks and he changed your direction.
Then you started driving up a hill and he picked up the speed.
Which sent you flying over the hill.
Thankfully, the symbiote caught the bike and brought you back to it before you both hit the ground.
You two continued driving away from the cars and suddenly two cars closed in at your sides.
"We're going to die!" You yelled.
"We're not going to die!"
Suddenly the bike crashed into one of the cars and you felt a wave of blackness wash over you.
When you opened your eyes and you were much taller and a black lines were around your vision.
"Woah woah what's going on?" You said.
"Eyes, lungs, pancras. So many snacks, so little time." The symbiote said as his hand lifted up the guy from earlier.
"Woah I've got claws now."
You leaned closer to the man, until you felt someone poke you in the back.
You turned and bit someone's head off.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH WE JUST BIT THAT GUY'S HEAD OFF!"
"Fuel in the tank, get used to it."
"Get on the ground!" Someone yelled and you jumped into a river and swam off before they could catch you.
You jumped back up to a bridge post and leaned up against it, turning back to normal.
Then the same face you saw earlier, made of the same stuff the symbiote is made of appeared out of your shoulder.
"Who are you?" You asked, holding your stomach.
"I am Venom. And you are mine."
"Don't you think you should take me out to dinner first?" You joked.
"Listen carefully, (Y/n). You did not find me, I found you. Consider yourself my ride."
"Ride to where?"
"Back to Drake's ship, remember him?"
"How do you know about him?"
"I know everything." Venom said getting close to your face.
"Oh, you do?"
"Yes. I know everything there is to know about you."
"How?"
"I know what you love and what you hate. I know who you love and who you hate. I am inside your head, and every thought you have. I have."
"So you mean, back at the when I saw your reflection in the car you-"
"Yes. I knew exactly what was going on inside your head in that moment. Freaky human."
"Okay okay!" You said, shutting your eyes. "You don't have to go any further."
You sighed and looked up at Venom again. "Anything else I should know?"
"If you do not feed me, I will eat your insides."
"Oh...great..."
"Listen to me (Y/n). Cooperate and you just might survive. Do as I say, and I will protect you. Understood?"
"Sure.." You said. "So where do we go now?"
"We go get food. I'm hungry."
"Very well." You said.
Venom pulled you up onto the bridge and you began walking to a fast food place.
While walking there, you noticed a car pull up to you.
Annie and Eddie walked out.
"Shit..." You whispered.
"Who are they?"
"Friends. Do not hurt them." You said.
"(Y/n)! What happened?!" Eddie said walking up to you.
"We tried to go to your apartment but the police wouldn't let us! The whole building was evacuated what happened?!" Annie said.
"Annie...go home..."
"But-"
"Now!" You yelled.
She stood there for a few seconds, then backed away to her car.
You grabbed Eddie by the collar. "I'm only involving you in what's going on because you got me involved."
"What did I do now?" He asked.
"Do you remember when you took pictures of the dead people at Drake's lab?"
"Yes?"
"Do you remember that one scientist lady talking about symbiotes and hosts and shit like that?"
"Yes???"
"I'm a host. Eddie. I have a symbiote!"
"You do?! How is that possible?!"
"Because you dragged me into this! And now you're going to get arrested and I'm going to be used a lab rat!"
"No you're not."
"Oh be quiet, I'm not in the mood."
"I didn't say anything?" Eddie said.
"Not you! The symbiote's talking to me!"
"It is?"
"Yes! It speaks to me in my head!"
"...are you sure you have a symbiote and you're not just going crazy?"
"YES!" You said, making Eddie jump back.
"Y-Your face. It-It-"
"I know it does that sometimes!" You said.
"Freeze!" The police yelled.
You and Eddie put your hands up.
"Not again.." You said.
"(Y/n)." Eddie said. "What do we do?""
"I want to eat them." Venom said.
You sighed and let Venom take control of your body.
"Go hide!" He said to Eddie.
Venom started biting off the heads of the some of the officers before he turned around and saw Eddie being dragged away in handcuffs.
"Eddie!"
Venom turned around and grabbed Eddie, pushed the officers away and started climbing up the building.
"Careful Venom!" You said. "You better not kill my friend!"
"Oh calm down. He's fine."
Venom jumped into one of the rooms and Eddie started throwing up into an office plant.
"Sorry." You said, taking control of your body.
"Your world is quite beautiful. I'm a little sad to see it go."
"What does that mean?"
Venom didn't answer.
"(Y/n)?" Eddie asked.
You turned to see Eddie wiping his mouth.
"Thanks for helping me get those pictures." He said as he wrote something down on a piece of paper.
"What are you doing?"
"This is my boss's office. I'm leaving the evidence against Drake here for him to see."
"Okay?" You said. "Weird time, but okay."
"Can we go back down?" Eddie asked.
You nodded as Venom took control of your body again.
He grabbed Eddie and slid down the wall.
When he reached the ground, you heard someone scream.
"It's okay Annie!" Eddie said.
"Annie?!" You said.
"Annie." Venom said.
"That thing is talking to me!" She screamed, backing into her car.
"It's me!" You said taking control of your body. "It's (Y/n)!"
"How- you- what?!"
"I thought I told you to go home!" You said.
"I did, but then Eddie called me saying that you needed to go to the hospital!"
"Eddie!" You yelled.
"What?!" He said. "You obviously do! You just turned into an alien!"
You groaned.
"I can't go with you Annie! It's not safe to be around me!"
"I don't care (Y/n). Get in the car. Right now."
You sighed. "Fine." You said as you and Eddie got into the back of her car.
"Now someone explain to me what the hell is going on." Annie said as she started to drive.
"Eddie and I broke into Drake's lab to steal some evidence against him-"
"Eddie!" Annie yelled.
"And while we were there, I got infected by one of the alien symbiotes there."
"So, you have an alien living in your body?"
"I guess so. He talks to me in my head and he takes control of my body sometimes and I get stronger and faster and shit like that."
"Are you in pain?" She asked.
"No, I'm just hungry. All the time."
You saw an extra shirt in the back seat. "Can I put this on?" You asked. "My shirt's wet and cold."
"Of course." She said.
"Thanks."
"So, I'll have Dan take a vital scan and then he can do an MRI."
"No! No MRIs"
"No MRIs." You said.
"Why not?"
"High pitched noises are very bothersome."
"High pitched noises hurt his ears."
"Anything else?" Annie asked.
"Fire."
"Fire." You repeated.
"Is he talking to you now?"
"Yes."
After some silence, Eddie spoke up.
"Ann? I just wanted to say that...I'm sorry about everything I did...and...I love you."
"Aww that's nice."
"Thank you Eddie...but now is really not the time..."
When you arrived at the hospital, Dan, Annie's new boyfriend, ran a vital scan on you.
"(Y/n). Your body is dying..." He said.
"What?!" You all said.
"Do not listen!"
"This parasite you have-"
"I am not a parasite!" Venom yelled, making you pound the desk.
"Please don't call him a parasite, it makes him angry."
"This thing you have, whatever it is, it's killing you." Dan said.
"No I am not!"
"Wait- I-I'm dying?"
"NO!"
"Yes!"
"Venom's killing you (Y/n)!" Eddie said.
"He needs to get out of your body!" Annie said.
"Your body is slowly shutting down, he's killing you!" Dan said.
"BE QUIET!" Venom yelled taking control of your hand and choking Dan.
"I'm sorry! I can't control him!" You said, trying to get Venom to let go.
"Wait! I have an idea!" Annie said as she started playing a loud high pitched noise on her phone.
You and Venom started screaming as you knelt down and covered your ears.
Venom began thrashing around and eventually was forced out of your body.
Dan closed the doors on the room Venom was in and Annie managed to get you out before he closed the doors.
Venom latched onto the glass trying to reach you and you stared at him.
"Are you okay?" Eddie asked.
Ignoring him, you stood up and pointed your finger at Venom.
"You were poisoning me? Killing my body?! What happened to protecting me?! What happened to "we"?!"
"I'm leaving." You said, walking out of the room.
"Wait!" Eddie said. "I still need to take you out to dinner!"
You walked out of the room and to the elevator, but when you got there, the police were waiting for you.
Without Venom, you had no chance of fighting back and let them taze you.
When you woke up, you were strapped down to a chair and the man who broke into your apartment earlier was standing in front of you.
"Well look who's finally awake."
"Hi." You said.
"You've been a major pain in the ass, you know that?"
"Out." Drake said, walking into the room.
"But I-"
"Out!"
After a few seconds, the man walked away and Drake looked at you.
"Comfortable (Y/n)? I'll get straight to the point. Where's the symbiote?"
"I don't know, we parted ways."
"Look, I'm trying to save humanity and give it a chance to survive-"
"You're insane." You said.
"That hurts. I'm not insane. What's insane is how humans live. All we do is take, take, take, take, take. But this time, I'm giving humanity a chance to grow, to survive with these symbiotes. Now I'll ask you again, where is the symbiote?"
"I'll say it again, I don't know."
"WHERE IS HE?!" A symbiote taking control of Drake's body yelled.
"Holy shit! That is the scariest thing I have ever seen!"
"WHERE'S VENOM?!"
Drake took control of his body after the symbiote roared at you and ordered the man to come back in.
"Dispose of her in the woods, we'll find the symbiote without her."
"Great." You said.
After walking in the woods for a while, you were kicked to the ground and held at gun point.
You closed your eyes, when suddenly the man holding you at gun point screamed.
You opened your eyes and looked around.
"Hello?"
Suddenly, his body fell from the sky without his head.
"Oh."
Just after you said that, Venom dropped down from the tree.
"...That's what you look like..."
"Hello (Y/n)." He said, picking you up.
"Woah...hi..."
Venom opened his mouth and you grew worried.
"You're not going to eat me are you?" You asked.
He didn't answer.
Instead he leaned down and kissed you.
You closed your eyes, confused as hell but you weren't complaining.
After he pulled away, you realized Venom was back in your body and that you just kissed Eddie.
"Eddie?!" You said, wiping your mouth.
"Your heart rate has quickened again."
"Shut up..." You whispered.
"I just somebody's head off..!" He said.
"Yeah, I know. It's not fun." You said.
"The one with Drake is Riot, he is our leader." Venom said.
"Drake has his own symbiote." You told Eddie.
"Shit." He said.
"We have got to go!" He said.
"Go where?" You asked.
"I'm going to!" Eddie said.
"No! It's too dangerous!"
"What's he saying?"
"Venom says it's too dangerous." You said.
"Well I'm going anyway!" Eddie said.
"Not today!" Venom said, taking control of your body.
Venom ran off and started climbing trees.
"Wait what about Eddie?" You said.
"He'll be fine. It is not safe for him." He said, letting you take control of your body again once you were far enough away from Eddie.
"We have to stop Riot. If we fail, he will return to earth with millions more of my kind and take over the planet."
"So is that why you wanted to go back to the rocket in the first place? So you could feed on the planet?!"
"Yes! But it is different now!"
"Oh. Really? Why?"
"On my planet, I am kind of a loser. But here we could be more. Besides I am starting to like it here."
"Oh really?"
"Yes! But there will be nothing to like if we do not stop him."
"Cut the bullshit. What really made you change your mind?"
Venom took control of your body again. "You did (Y/n). I have grown very fond of you. I cannot live without you. Figuratively and literally."
"Thank you." You said as he jumped over to where the rocket was. "But how can I trust you? You were killing my body."
"I was not killing your body. Like I said, I cannot live without you. What would I gain from killing you?"
"...Fair point."
After you said that, Riot jumped out of a window towards the rocket.
"Holy shit! You can take this guy right?!" You said.
"He has got shit you have never seen." Veom said.
"So what does that mean? Are we gonna lose?"
"Probably."
"Oh fuck it. Do your thing Venom."
"Gladly."
Venom jumped and started crawling towards Riot then got in front of him.
"Venom! Get in the rocket!"
"No! We won't let you destroy this world."
"Then die."
Riot created a spike ball with his hands and Venom gasped.
Then he created a spike with his hands and almost hit the both of you.
"Holy shit!"
"Told you."
They started fighting and eventually Venom fought back.
As they fought, they were ripping each other apart and eventually Riot knocked Venom back.
"Get up Venom!" You said. "You got this!"
Suddenly, Venom was ripped from your body and Riot held him up planning to eat him.
"Venom!" You said, standing up and reaching for him.
He connected with you and took control of your body again.
They started fighting again and eventually you and Venom were consumed by Riot.
That was cut short however due to the fact that a high pitched noise started playing over loud speakers.
Separating all four of you.
You landed on the rocket and Venom was a few feet away.
However Drake got up quicker and started kicking you away from Venom.
You tried fighting back but Drake overpowered you.
He soon connected to Riot again and he stabbed you through the chest.
You fell to the ground and watched as Riot climbed onto the rocket.
Just as your eyes closed, you saw Venom crawling towards you.
When you opened your eyes again, Venom was in control and was climbing onto the rocket.
"Thank you for saving my life!" You yelled.
"Of course!" Venom said. "You are my host!"
He started tearing up the rocket which caused it to explode.
The fire surrounding you during the explosion forced Vemon to leave your body with the parting words: "Goodbye (Y/n)."
"Venom!" You yelled as you landed in the water.
"So you're finally taking me out to that dinner you promised me?" You said as you ate your food. "More like Lunch, actually."
"Yup." Eddie said. "I know how much you love this place."
"Yeah." You said.
"Look." Eddie said. "I'm sorry about Venom."
You smiled. "Thank you Eddie."
"So...next week, I'm going to need you to come with me to some big event."
"What for?"
"Well. You were one of the reasons as to why I got those pictures so...I need you to be there so I can give you credit."
"Thank you Eddie."
"So about the kiss.." Eddie said.
"He had better not take credit for that. That was my idea."
You smiled, hearing Venom's voice.
"Yes?" You said to Eddie.
"That was Venom's idea."
"Good."
"I would never do that to you, because I'm still trying to win Annie back."
You nodded. "I understand. Well, I better head home. My new cat is waiting for me. Bye Eddie!" You said rushing out of the restaurant.
After the explosion, Venom had burnt and supposedly died.
That was until you were walking home the other night and he had approached you while controlling someone.
You were happy to be reunited with Venom.
Ever since he returned, he has been acting a little different with you. Flirty almost. You can't exactly explain your relationship with Venom, but you're happy with it.
"You said there were some ground rules you wanted to talk to me about now that I am staying?"
"Yes." You said, putting your phone to your ear so you didn't look crazy.
"You can't go around eating anyone you want to, okay?"
"Why not?"
"Because there are good people and bad people."
"You can never ever eat the good people. You can do whatever you want with the bad people because I now know that the heads you eat are not going into my stomach."
"Very well. No good people."
"Exactly." You said.
"I'm very happy you're back Venom." You said.
"I am happy to be back as well."
"Question?"
"Yes?"
"How do you tell the difference between good and bad?"
"I'll show you an example when we get to one." You said, walking into Mrs. Chen's convenience store.
"What do you want to eat for dinner later?" You asked. "Because I can tell you're getting hungry."
"You know me well (Y/n). I don't have to even threaten to eat your organs anymore."
"Yes yes, what do you want?"
"Tator tots and chocolate."
"Whatever you want V." You said, looking at some brands of chocolate.
Suddenly the door opened and someone held Mrs. Chen at gunpoint.
"Please, I can't keep doing this!"
"The money, Chen. Now."
"That's an example of a bad guy." You whispered.
"Got it. Can I eat him?"
You nodded and let Venom take control of your body.
He grabbed the man by the arm and walked over. "You come in here again. In fact, if you go anywhere in this city, preying on innocent people, we will find you."
"We will eat both of your arms, both of your legs, and then we will eat your face right off your head, do you understand? So you will be this armless, legless, faceless thing, rolling down the streets, won't you?"
"Like a turd in the wind. Do you feel me?" Venom said, making you laugh.
"What the hell are you?" The man asked.
"We are Venom."
"On second thought..."
Venom leaned down and ate thr man entirely. Not just his head.
You regained control of your body and turned to Mrs. Chen. "Sorry about that."
"What was that?" She asked.
"Oh nothing. Just a little uhhhh...Night, Mrs. Chen!" You said leaving the store.
"I forgot how funny you were." You said, putting your phone up to your ear.
"I suppose I am pretty humorous."
"I ready to go home and watch TV." You said walking to your apartment.
"What is "TV"?" Venom asked. "You seem to be very fond of it."
"I'll show you. I'll show you all the things we humans do."
A/N: YAS K! This sounds perfect for Eddie :) Thanks for the request, my dear!!
Easy Does It
Summary: Maybe you should have asked the gang to tell you what your were going to bring to Thanksgiving Dinner. But leave it to Eddie to make it all better.
Tumblr media
Warnings: Just some fluff :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"This cannot be happening,"
"Actually, it's kind of funny if you think about it,"
"You're not helping, Munson,"
Eddie sighed and rubbed your shoulder as you were looking down at the very problem that was metering your mind for the past twenty minutes. The rest of the group was out in the living room, too afraid to come into the kitchen since they knew you were teetering on the edge with your anxiety, and they sent in your boyfriend since they knew Eddie would be the one to calm you down. He usually would be, but you were staring at the counter which had at least 5 sides dishes.
All the dishes were mash potatoes. Shit.
You wanted to throw a Thanksgiving dinner with the gang, thinking it was a great thing to do to rally together since you all saved the world from Vecna. That spring going into summer was hard for everyone in Hawkins, including Max and Eddie since they both nearly died. The smallest moment of you thinking that Eddie was going to be lost forever was something you never wanted to experience ever again, and being grateful he was in your life spurred on this new tradition you wanted to start with the entire group. So when Thanksgiving was coming around the corner, you everyone to come to your home with a side dish.
Now you are mentally kicking yourself for not being specific in which side dish to bring.
"Robin and Nancy are gonna be here in a few any who, maybe they won't bring mash potatoes?" Eddie suggested to you, seeing your shoulders getting a bit hunched as you were trying to mentally figure out what you were going to do. Everything else was nearly ready, the turkey was about to be done within ten minutes, you had some soda and sparkling cider out for the younger kids....but you were thinking of the worst scenario from seeing all of the mash potatoes in front of you.
"Baby...baby come here. Easy does it," Eddie said to you calmly, seeing that you were about to cry. He turned you to have you face him, you blinking away the tears that were about to come out. Eddie could see it on his face, how you were wanting every part of this afternoon to be perfect. You talked about it for weeks on end, telling Eddie about it when you two would snuggle in bed together at his trailer. Having your friends together to celebrate not just the holiday but surviving Vecna was something you looked forward to. Yet now, seeing you in a nice dress with your hair in gentle curls and on the verge of tears, it broke Eddie's heart.
"This is going to be okay," Eddie said to you, having you watch him as he shifted on his feet and cradled your face in his palms, "I know how hard you worked on this dinner to make it special--"
"It's not just the dinner, Eds," You said in a softer manner, looking down for a moment as you took in a long breath, "I just wanted things to go back to normal after what we went through. Maybe I just overshot with this whole thing and got too stressed out in making this perfect,"
"Perfection is overrated," Eddie reminded you as he traced your thumbs with your cheeks, "Babe, you made all of this already perfect! Dustin and those guys were beyond excited to come here and eat with us, with you,"
"They were?" You asked, seeing Eddie beam at you.
"Hell yeah! When I told them all about this dinner, they were bouncing off the walls and looking like idiots! But I know they wanted to be here because of you! You made sure none of us were killed back in the Upside Down, they owe their lives to you....as do I,"
You grinned at him, feeling him pull you into a hug and have you dig your head into his shoulder for a moment. You weren't as close to the others as Eddie was, he was the one who brought you into their world when you two got together. Yet you were instantly loved by Dustin, Lucas and Mike, seeing how genuine happy Eddie was when he was playing Dungeons and Dragons with them. Then Steve, Nancy, Max, and Robin were brought in the mix that Spring Break and the Upside Down, the bond you all had was stronger than ever.
"It's just potatoes, baby," Eddie said to you as you two held each other in the middle of the kitchen, "If all else fails, I'll eat it all for you!"
"Don't do that, babe," You said against his nicer shirt he wore for the occasion.
"No, I will! I happen to like potatoes very much and I can clean all of those dishes in five minutes, you watch!" Eddie said teasingly to you, making you smile and giggle as bit as he chuckled and you both swayed a bit in your hold. A knock was heard on the door, you and Eddie breaking away from one another to see Nancy and Robin poking their heads in.
"We bring reinforcement dishes!" Robin said in glee, holding up the grocery bags in her hold. You looked at her in shock as they came into the kitchen and placed the bags on the countertop, unpacking with ease and determination.
"How did you know, Wheeler?" Eddie asked in wonder as Nancy grinned at him.
"Steve called as soon as he got here and told me what happened," She explained, giving you a knowing look, "I'm not a fan of potatoes myself, but I figured I would bring some bread rolls and the cranberry sauce. Robin snagged some green beans and Kraft Mc N Cheese!” "It's the best!" Robin hummed as she held up the serval blue Kraft boxes with a massive smile on her face. Your smile never left your face as Eddie rubbed your shoulders with his knuckles.
"Thanks, guys," He said to them both.
"Don't thank us, thank Steve. He was the one who called and warned us what happened. I swear, my brother is a bit dense at times and thinks mash potatoes should be the main side dish, as well as Dustin," Nancy explained to you both as Eddie snorted.
"Agreed. Now," He said, rubbing his palms together in determination, "Let bust out the Mac N Cheese and get those bread rolls toasty!"
30 minutes later, the living room was filled with food on the coffee table and everyone was sitting around it, paper plates in hand and their plates filled to the brim with food. Laughter was heard throughout the living room as everyone was enjoying the meal, digging in for seconds and thirds as you were perched in the one chair.
Seeing all of your friends chatting together and laughing over jokes made the dinner worthwhile. Maybe you were worried about the dishes and making it all perfect, yet now that changed from seeing how your friends were all in one space. They were all happy, no longer visibly stained with what happened months ago but blissed out in joy and happiness.
Eddie pulled over a kitchen chair to sit next to you, seeing you were relaxed in your chair and leaning into you a bit to give you a kiss on the cheek. You were happy to have Eddie calm your nerves and bring you to reality, especially with something like this. You loved that about Eddie: he knew how to bring your peace and to make your mind stay clear in the more stressful moments. Thanking your lucky stars that he wasn't taken from you in the Upside Down, knowing deep down he brought life and color in your world when you thought it would be grey.
"I'm so happy we could all be together tonight.” You said softly to Eddie as you both were watching Dustin snort about something Mike said to him, Will and Eleven were laughing too as Max was leaning into Lucas's shoulder and Robin was chatting with Nancy and Steve about something. Eddie grinned, wrapping his arm around yours on your arm rest and lacing your hands together.
"Me too, baby," Eddie said to you with love laced on his lips.
It was a great night, and you sent them all home with leftovers that included massive mash potato helpings.
The End.
"No, that one's for my husband." "Wait what?!"
A Stranger things fanfiction.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Summary:
Steve knew he wasn’t the smartest one of the group, hell he didn’t rank top five, probably. Please ignore the aggressive validation followed by a loud dingus from Robin and Eddie, thank you. But really, he thought this plan was rather genius. If he told his family he was married to HIS HUSBAND, maybe they would finally accept that he did not need to be set up wit a girl (cousin or not, which, gross) and that he was perfectly happy with his boyfriend of seven years.
He, uh, just forgot to tell said boyfriend...
Whoops.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, listen, seriously.
Steve knew he wasn’t the smartest one of the group, hell he didn’t rank top five, probably. Please ignore the aggressive validation followed by a loud dingus from Robin and Eddie, thank you. But really, he thought this plan was rather genius.
He was a middle school teacher, sadly never got out of Hawkins, but it was fine. He managed to get his own place, which he shared with Robin for the most part unless his absolute best friend in the world was traveling. Nancy, Jonathan, the kids, everyone came over, they had movie nights. Max was healing, Eddie survived.
God, that stupid idiot.
They made it out, they lived, they were fighters. And all things considered, Steve liked to think that managing to be a teacher and all, he was pretty smart.
Well apparently he was every bit the idiot Mike kept calling him, because here he was, at thanksgiving dinner with his family being once again integrated by his dear grandmother and family… You know, the ones that skipped town when things got back in Hawkins and he only saw around the holidays.
Now you see, somewhere along the lines Steve realized he had a wonderful gift, one that not many others had. The fact that his parents cared immensely about their image. With Steve becoming the beloved babysitter of the town everyone knew, and later that sweet boy trying to be a teacher, and then mister Harrington of grade three, well… There was no way they could actually kick him out or disown him. The party forced Steve to do this thing he hated, which was talk about his feelings~ So if anything happened the whole town and police force and people his father considered “trailer trash” would know, would judge.
So while Steve had to work hard and had no support from his biological family, but his family of choice had grown three times in size and included a literal supergirl, at least five geniuses, three people who were gun experts and his boyfriend.
Oh, yeah, he had a boyfriend. Eddie, to be specific.
No he was totally normal about it and not blushing thank you!
Along with deciding his future should look however he fucking wanted, came some less fun revelations. He spend many a nights with Robin in multiple different bathrooms as he dealt with his internalized shit, about how it was always fine for her and everyone else, but not him, and how he thought maybe he should change how he thought about himself, because it wasn’t so nice. Robin alternated between hugging him and smacking him on the head (gently, for the head trauma). In the end and after a good year of pining, it had been pretty anticlimactic. Or well, Steve thought so, Eddie couldn’t get enough of recounting the story to their gremlins, all along with a reenactment Steve halfheartedly participated in.
Basically, of course Eddie had known something was going on. No straight dude spends as much time on: one, his hair as Steve does. Two, staring at another guy's lips as Steve apparently had. Max called him grossly obvious, but nodded along when El called them sweet. It was when Steve had come over to watch the game with Wayne (something he regularly did now with Wayne and Hopper, god he was getting old). After it finished, he had gone to Eddie’s room to hang out, the other working on painting some new figures for the upcoming campaign. And his tongue was poking out just barely as he focussed, and Steve’s brain short circuited for a moment from something else than head trauma. Eddie was so… Just- So cute. Steve knew he had been staring, face getting warm, when Eddie looked up and grinned. “Just staring is not gonna make anything happen, princess.” It was such- It was a bad line, not nearly as creative as Eddie usually was with his endless flirting and teasing, but Steve just-
He had leaned in, planting a firm kiss on Eddie’s lips, face beet-red but smirking as Eddie blinked rapidly. “There. See, staring can help.” It had been so stupid.
They had been dating ever since, nearly seven years now. Seven wonderful years. Eddie lived with Wayne not even three houses down for a while (thank you government hush house), but stayed over more often than not and eventually moved in. Him and Robin of course got along and Steve was being attacked from two sides about his horrible movie taste now but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
So he moved out, had his gaggle of kids by choice, was a teacher for a whole bunch more and had an amazing family and boyfriend. He was a decently open bisexual man, and strangely not many people gave him trouble. Was the small town attitude working in his favor? People, weirdly, had a lot of sympathy for Eddie once the whole, held hostage by a serial killer came out. Seeing all the kids defend him and Eddie might have helped there, Steve’s new “golden babysitter”status helped. No one really talked about them in clear terms, but would sometimes talk about how “sweet it was that you two are such good… friends. And so supportive.” It was really fucking weird and every time it happened Eddie would look like a confused puppy afterwards. “Me? A good person? A good neighbor? Me?! What the hell is happening Stevie?!” Steve just rolled with it.
So uhm, he did have to tell his parents he was dating Eddie, but to be fair, they should have told them they would be home for christmas for the first time in five years. And knocked…. They should have knocked… He wasn’t disowned, but they wanted no mention of it. Threats which did not hold up as soon as Steve pushed them. Because what were they going to do, leave him to fend for himself? Oh nooooo…. How will he ever surviiiiveeee…
So they did not have the excuse of not knowing, and surely this news spread through the family like wildfire.
Did that stop them from calling it a phase, possession by the devilworshipper and trying to set him up with the nearest girl, no of course not don't be stupid.
So, thanksgiving. Why did he agree to spend it with these people instead of his other actually loving family? Right grandpa Stanford died two months ago… like that was his problem the man nearly shot him once, on accident but still. Grandma Jessie was alright though, a sweet older lady who might have the start of dementia. She was the main reason Steve was here. She was the only one who would scold his parents for leaving him to travel. Back when she could still walk well, she came over often to take care of Steve. He learned to bake from her.
He was glad he sat close to her, talking with her about the kids he was teaching. "I used to teach… all those girls were so sweet, but so bad at needlework." Different times. But Steve was happy to listen to her rather than listen to the political feud currently going on between his dad and uncle Dave from his mother's side. His mom chuckled, very fake, as she refilled her wineglass. "It's so nice we can all be together…"
"Would be nicer if any of the kids had their shit together," uncle Dave groused. Aunt Carol and their kid Kevin both scoffed. Steve's mom chuckled again, sounding a bit manic. "It's just been… so long. Why. Don't we do this more often?" Yeah, why indeed.
On the other side of the table his cousin Kevin had gotten into a spat with Katherine and Willow, Steve's objectively cooler cousins he hadn't seen since he was like… eight? Willow was blinking slowly as Kevin ranted about "the queers" taking over and getting him kicked out of the sport team, utterly unaware he was probably the only "not-queer" cousin and thus outnumbered. Steve might only play sports with seven to ten year olds now, but he would love to kick Kevin's ass. He took a sip of his own wine, leaning over to refill his mom's glass and his dad's sister's glass. Aunt Diana was Willow's and Kathine's mom and really, outstanding job. She almost got Steve a job as a hairdresser before he became a teacher. Her useless husband Tom was nowhere to be found, probably still trying to evade charges for drunk driving. It was tradition in this family.
There was a knock at the door and grandma spoke. "Steward, open the door." His dad stood up, letting in the late guests. Dave glared. "you're late Hannah." Hannah was a distant aunt, along with her husband Tony and two daughters. Now imagine Steve's surprise at finding out that Vicky apparently was a cousin of his. He raised an eyebrow but waved. She smiled and waved back, sitting next to him. "Funny to find out you are part of my estranged family."
"Trust me, in ten minutes you are gonna wish it stayed that way. I give it fi me, I give it fifteen before you wish you had never found out.” Vicky took a chair next to him, so she could talk to grandma Jessie. “Where’s your sister…?” grandma asked, looking around.
Vicky looked apologetic. “She couldn’t come, the twins are sick and she felt bad leaving them with Laura, her…. roommate.” Steve nearly choked on his wine and Kathrine and Willow snickered. Ah, good, he wasn’t the only one who caught that. Roommates… Sure…
Steve whispered to her, pointing at uncle Dave and his dad. “I give it ten minutes until they convince Willow to “get help” for her “condition” and aunt Diana mixes alcohol and painkillers again.”
Vicky was already massaging her temples.”Oh god are we going to need to call an ambulance?”
Steve cackled. “No, if it comes down to it uncle Kathrine will drive her. God forbid the neighbors see the ambulance.” Vicky let out a sigh, burying her head in her hands.
“Fifteen minutes, you said, bit ambitious.” Kathrine said with a look at an already exhausted Vicky.
Look if Steve had to suffer, so did everyone. Except grandma.
It was the usual spats. Diana’s useless husband Tom not showing up, Willow being even more out than Steve despite Steve having a boyfriend, Kathrine’s lack of a highschool diploma. Diana was waving her fork around. “All I’m saying is, he’s a piece of shit, okay, but he’s been my piece of shit for five years so, leave it. I’m not getting a divorce.” She took another sip of wine. Steve still wasn’t sure if her husband was wanted for tax evasion or… murder…? It was so hard to keep track, with Kevin selling drugs and his own dad definitely bribing people about the cheating. Oh and Dave, doing all of that except the murder. Aunt Carol turned to him. “And you, got a job worthy of the Harrington’s yet?” Steve pitied her sometimes, so stuck on the name and her womanly duties that she didn’t pursue her own life. That was, until she opened her mouth. “Still a teacher. Oh, wait Kathrine, let me tell you about this kid-” who got stuck on the roof, but hey at least the ball was safed… They had to call the fire department…
He was interrupted by his dad. “Did you get a girlfriend yet?” Steve stopped, glaring at him.
This had been an ongoing “fight” they had. Since they couldn’t actually kick him out. Diana and grandma Jessie wouldn’t let them, Steve was their favorite nephew/grandson. “No dad, I’m still with Eddie. Eddie Munson. You met him grandma, remember?” He could never get his parents to meet Eddie, so grandma was the closest he could get. Thankfully she had adored Eddie. “Oh yes, the boy with the big eyes and soft hair? The one with the good music. He was such a sweetheart and a gentleman. You found a good one, Stevie darling.” He smiled, happy someone was on his side, sharing the joy with his three female cousins and aunt Hannah. “Yes, that’s the one grandma. He’s gone for a tour now, or I would have brought him.” While Steve missed him, the phone calls were something to look forward to.
Grandma smiled. “Such a talented young man. You all are.” Well, the table was mostly women, but it was the thought that counted. Vicky gave him a small smile and a nod. Ah good, he fucking knew it. Boobies Robin, boobies.
His father scowled. “What about that girl you went to dinner with last year, Rachel, or something.”
“You mean Robin?” Steve asked, watching as Vicky took a very quick sip of wine. Hm, interesting. “She had to spend it with her parents. And she is not my girlfriend, dad. I’m not her type and she is not mine.” It had been seven years, seriously.
Willow asked tiredly. “So what is your type?”
“Curly hair and big eyes. It’s a whole thing.” He said with a shake of his head. His mom was smiling, trying to be nicer but failing miserably like how she failed to both raise her son and stop her husband from cheating. Not that it was her fault, but priorities. Steve was petty, okay. “And what about that girl you dated for a year, Nancy. I thought she and her boyfriend split up?”
“No mom, they are still together. And very in love.” Jonathan and Nancy, a power couple that worked out some issues after ‘86 and still going strong. Nancy was still dating Jonathan. Jonathan was just… Also dating Argyle now. The three of them worked well together. Not that Steve was all that interested in getting back with Nancy, finally figuring out his delicate balance between platonic and romantic love thanks to many more bathroom talks with Robin and some normal talks with Eddie. He took another bite of turkey. “Besides, I’m with Eddie. Have been with Eddie for seven years. And you all would have gotten to meet him if you acted even slightly open to it.” Uncle Dave scowled and muttered something about “fags”, leading to Willow’s knife accidently cutting his hand. Steve hit his plate passive aggressively with his fork. “All I’m saying is. I’m with Eddie, I have been with Eddie, and I will stay with Eddie until the sun burns out and or the earth cracks open again, so drop it. It’s not going to change.”
Grandma patted his arm. “You should bring him around again sometime.” Steve reassured her he would, just as his mom had the nerve to say, “But Stevie,” a nickname only grandma and the party could use… “I’m just worried you maybe didn’t date enough people first. You might not have found the girl right for you.” Steve stared at her just. Just baffled.
“Mom, are you seriously saying my relationship of seven years is a phase!?” She waved her hands as Steve raised his voice.
“No, no, I’m just saying that…!”
He interrupted her. “I need to date more girls first!? As if I wasn’t enough of a slut in high school as it was!” Not that there was anything wrong with it, but he knew it would upset uncle dave and aunt Carol. And right on cue, Dave slammed his hands as Kathrine snickered. “Watch your fucking language!” Aunt Diana twirled her wine glass, laughing but nearly in tears. “It’s so nice that we could all get together like this…!”
After a bit they all calmed down.
That was, until aunt Carol opened her mouth. Again.
Aunt Carol pointed at him. “I’m just saying, Steve darling, you should see a priest.” Steve had to take a second to digest it, watching aunt Diana reach into her purse for painkillers. Vicky glanced between him and aunt Diana, trying to say “should we call an ambulance in advance?” with her eyes, But Steve was busy.
“Wait is this family catholic?” Steve asked with fake confusion, tilting his head and staring at aunt Carol.
“No, why,” Willow asked as Steve’s mom muttered, “Reformed, technically, I think. It’s so hard to keep track. And it’s not like any of our children have been to a church in decades aside from Kevin and look where it got him…” He was sure she hadn’t meant to mutter so loud.
Steve stared his aunt down. “Oh I’m just trying to understand if the priest thing is genuine religious concern or another casual derogatory statement, but if we are not catholic I'm leaning to the latter.” Thank you Dustin for all those word-of-the-days.
Willow nodded. “Fair.”
Grandma smiled, waving to get their attention. “Your grandfather was a satanist in his youth, such a rebel. Which is why I know Steve picked a good one.”
“Thank you grandma.”
Kathrine shrugged. “If it took me sleeping with every boy in town to find out girls might be better, I can hardly blame Steve for doing the same with most girls.” Willow gagged as the adults let out cries of homophobia and Vicky shook her head in despair again, trying to hide her incredulous snickers. When she got it under control she turned to Steve. “Considering I didn’t know you were my cousin, I’m just so thankful you are not my type.” Yeah, Steve had a pretty good idea what her type was. Bumbling lesbians, mainly.
Aunt Carol slammed the table. “All I am saying is, Jessica would make a lovely wife for you.” For Steve, of course… But not for Kevin, god forbid her darling son ended up with the “slut” of the family. The amount of sexism was staggering. Nancy could probably do a whole scientific study just on his family. Vicky suddenly looked up. “Wait, you mean… My sister Jessica, his other cousin?” The table fell quiet.
Aunt Carol narrowed her eyes. “Maybe…?” Grandma shook her head.
“No no, Jessica is veeery happy on her own.”
Steve nodded. “She’s awesome, grandma. Shame she couldn’t come.” Unlike Diana’s useless husband Tom (which, the woman deserved better), Jessica was very much invited. But ever since she got pregnant at twenty by a boy she claimed not to know the name of, aunt Carol and Steve’s father had tried to shun her. Grandma Jessie refused though, as she was the only cousin that also regularly visited (Willow and Kathrine lived pretty far away, Kevin just sucked and Vicky’s side of the family had been estranged until today and probably again tomorrow if they valued their sanity). As far as Steve knew, Jessica was very happy alone living with her “roommate” and little twin eight-year-old Angie and Micheal. She worked together with her aunt Diana, a hairdresser for weddings, a business looked down upon by the family but made her a pretty good living. More than Steve's teacher job. He was honestly impressed.
Vicky turned to him, making a face. Steve nodded fake solemnly. He felt a migraine coming on, but hoped he would have time to get home. Otherwise he might have to ask grandma to crash on her couch again… The conversation fell quiet, only grandma happily oblivious and happy the family was all together.
But of course, Steve’s father just HAD to give it another shot. “I’m just saying, you would change your tune if you actually got married. Could even bring your wife over for christmas. Take it from me, your life will be much happier than with that degenerate.” Yeah, take relationship advice from the serial cheater that was not in 80 percent of your life.
Steve was done, had an oncoming migraine and hated about half his family. So he, finally, chose violence. "Actually, me and my husband will be spending christmas with his family. This year." Silence fell around the table as everyone registered what Steve just said.
"EXCUSE ME?" People shouted.
"Oh, that sweet boy…" Grandma muttered, looking delighted. “He treats you right?” Steve ignored the calls from his parents and the arguing from his family to offer aunt Diana some water and to smile at grandma.
"He is grandma. If you want I can pick you up this christmas, as the rest is all on vacation." The judgment at them leaving this elderly woman alone on christmas dripped off his voice.
Vicky shrugged. “I won’t be, I could come?” Steve told her of course, a plan brewing.
His mother had messed up her perfect hair and Steve might take some joy in that. "No! Wait! When did you get married, how!? It's not legal!" Good point, cover story go. He had to memorize so many over the years, surely he could think of something.
Steve shrugged, brain working overtime through tipsiness (how much wine had he had? Enough to pull this off appearantly). "It was actually pretty easy. Hopper knew a guy at the registration office and Robin is an ordained minister." The second part was true. She claimed it was a cool party trick.
Vicky’s eyes were wide, smile pulling at her lips which she was trying to stifle. "Wait really?"
"Yeah don't ask. But anyway, once we got it all sorted all he had to do was pretend to be his dead female cousin. Named Emma Munson, made it real easy. And with his long hair, the people at the office thought he was a girl anyway and we got married. Both kept our names."If they ever actually got married, and god could a man dream, Steve would take Eddie’s name like so fast…!
Diana smiled through her about-to-pass-out gaze. “He does have lovely hair…” He made a dialing motion to Willow, who got up to call ahead to a hospital.
Kathrine huffed. "Treat you right, my ass! I don't see a ring."
Steve pointed at her, hoping he was not swaying like the room was. "Yes Kathy, because I'm going to flaunt my illegal marriage to my lovely husband in the middle of Hawkins indiana."
"You could get caught for this!" Aunt Carol shouted.
"Report me aunt Carol, and you will no longer see your husband. Or your children. You will all be in jail. I have dirt on every single person in this room don't test me. I just need to figure out which dirt I have on who, you are all horrible people. Wait not you Willow, you’re cool. And Kathy, but you are still a bitch honestly. Except you Vicky, I didn't even know we were related."
"Yeah it was surprising to me too."
In the end, migraine or not, Steve did not drive home. Diana was fine by the way, just… Yeah she did end up passing out. Dave was taking in by the police for starting a fight with Steve’s dad for, “putting a fag on this world,” seemingly not aware Steve’s dad shared his bigoted opinion. Carol got taken away for causing a fuss, leaving Kevin (who was on thin ice with the law) to bail out his parents. Kathrine and Willow drove their mom home, both without a license… but oh well. Steve’s parents were off to- Chicago? Honestly, how was he meant to keep track? He was decently sure Jessica called at some point, just to say hi. He thinks Vicky and the other Jones’s just went home… Maybe?
He vaguely remembered Grandma asking before they left. “Which one of  you is a lesbian?” The cousins all shared a look as Kathrine said. “No one here I think. But me, Willow and Steve are bisexual.”
Vicky had chimed in. “Me too, actually.”
Grandma had only smiled again. “Oh how lovely, here’s a twenty.” Kevin made a confused motion as he did not get any money. But that explained the twenty dollars in his pocket and also HA! Suck it Robin the boobies are never wrong.
He drove home the next day once his killer headache settled and he told grandma all about his wedding, making up so many facts but honestly this would be the dream, apologizing for not inviting her over brunch. She waved the apologies off. “I have a bad hip dear, would have been too much excitement if it really was the stealth mission you are describing.” She was awesome and she was going to outlive them all probably.
God it was a shame his wedding day didn’t actually happen like that. Steve would have love it. Eddie would have too. Awesome husband. Yeah, perfect. (ignore his overcooking brain. Migraines are a bitch when trying to deal with reality.)
He fell into bed, needing like… a solid day to recover from the amount of family drama that was unloaded upon him. He dozed, still in his clothes from yesterday on his bed until he heard the door quietly open and someone draw the curtains closed. Oh yeah, that helped. He turned to squint, letting out a, “Hm?”
He felt a kiss gently pressed to his temple and saw Eddie. “Don’t worry sweetheart, just wanted to help you into something more comfortable. “Ngh, later…” Eddie ran a hand Through Steve’s hair, which was nice hadn’t his head hurt. Took his shoes off too, how sweet.
Eddie said quietly, “Okay princess. Later. Get some sleep. Tell me all about the family drama later.”
“Hmhm, g’d, y-... ‘maz’ng… -and…” What he meant to say was, god you are an amazing husband, something he would have been embarrassed about had he not been half asleep and Eddie couldn’t understand, chuckling. “Sure darling. Sleep first. Love you.” With a final kiss, Eddie left again so Steve could rest, warding off the rest of the party.
“Love you too.” God how did Steve get so lucky with his husband?
