it’s not a continuation but it’s heavily inspired by this lil thing i wrote <3

it was a bad idea.

horrible, actually.

niki was in mood for mischief today and you - as unfortunately - per usual were the victim.

it was supposed to be a lovely day off with your boyfriend, just the two of you since it was weekend. just gaming, napping and probably movie watching.

but no.

firstly, he messed with you while baking so the kitchen was covered with flour.

then he started tickling you.

and now he played a movie, reassuring you it’s a romantic comedy.

you were exhausted because of today’s events that you accepted niki’s weird choice and stayed glued to him like a panda.

while he dozed off, you actually got involved into the movie. and by every passing moment the movie did not seem like a romantic comedy.

when it was nearly the end of the movie, you already felt tears prickling the corners of your eyes.

the movie was about mom and her daughter. they got lost and separated due to some natural catastrophe. after some unfortunate events like getting hurt and robbed, they seemed to get closer.

niki stirred in his sleep and frowned when he didn’t feel your arms wrapped around him. niki lazily opened one one and then another just to see you sitting on your lap, leaning forward and being totally invested in the movie.

right, the movie.

he forgot about it.

niki knew what was coming next so he stood up and excused himself, going to the bathroom. just to hide.

niki didn’t have to wait a long.

"what?" you whispered when the girl took a wrong turn. she was about to meet her mom but she went the wrong way! "no–?!"

niki peeked from the bathroom, analysing the situation.

"no, come back!" you yelled, snatching a pillow and hugging it tightly to your waist "turn around! it’s the wrong way–!"

guilt started washing over the teen. he remembered how the movie really shattered his heart and how many tears were streaming down his cheeks the night he watched it.

"no, no, no–" you mumbled to yourself. even from his safe hiding place niki could see the tears threatening to spill in your eyes. "no!"

niki felt bad.

"what?! this is the end–?" you whined when the ending subtitles suddenly appeared. "NIKI!"

your eyes met his and niki knew he was in trouble. but your features softened and you bursted into tears, hiding your face in your hands.

he didn’t know if he should be relieved that you didn’t threw yourself to claw his eyes out or if he should be… sad. he did not wanted to make you cry. because, god, it was heartbreaking.

"y/n?" he asked quietly, posture composed as if he was approaching a wild creature.

"niki… they didn’t…" you sniffled, looking up. your teary eyes made his heart ache. what have he done…

"i know, y/n." niki whispered, letting his silly facade down. he came up to you, sitting down.

"why they didn’t…?" you continued to cry, leaning on his shoulder. niki wrapped his arm around you, soothingly rubbing your back. "why… why would you EVEN RECOMMEND THIS MOVE TO ME?!"

here it is.

niki yelled, jumping back as you started smacking his arms.

"I’M SORRY I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUNNY!" he laughed, trying to loosen up the tension but if looks could kill, he’d be dead.

"WHAT?! FUNNY?! YOU… YOU…–" you hit his arm with a fist.

"ow?! y/n!" niki scoffed dramatically

"IDIOT!" you huffed answer turned around to grab a pillow and load it onto his head.

but as you turned back to face him, you saw the rest of enhypen in the hallway.

"UGH!" you groaned and took advance of confused niki, launching the pillow at this head.

"y/n, come on–!" niki turned around, pouting.

"why is y/n crying?" sunoo asked, rushing towards you.

"because he… he…" you started, the images of heart shattering movie flashing before your eyes. and a bright perspective of niki getting scolded.

"did niki hurt you?" heeseung sent the younger one a dangerous glare and crossed his eyes.

"they broke up, you fools" sunghoon gasped dramatically, shaking his head

"WHAT–!" niki yelped as they all rushed to you, to close you in a tight hug. as you were sobbing, jungwon turned around.

"niki, i’m disappointed in you. y/n is a perfect girl, she’s so patient with you and your little pranks and yet you broke up with her? i’m speechless, really" the leader said, coldness in his eyes making niki shiver.

"i couldn’t agree more. she’s our little sister, you know?" jake furrowed his brows and hugged you closer, patting your head. niki could see a mischievous smile forming on your lips.

"but we– she’s– that’s not…?!" he was out of words.

"im gonna beat you up" jay suddenly said, pointing his finger at niki.

suddenly you snorted with laughter. quickly realising your mistake, you hid your face in jake’s hoodie.

jay smiled softly when he noticed how niki’s expression relaxed. the teen was trying so hard to look like he doesn’t care about you but… he’s whipped, he can’t hide that.

"what?" jungwon asked, crossing his arms.

"i’m trying to tell you that we didn’t break up. i just recommend y/n a sad movie and she was mad at me for doing that" niki huffed. the faces of his older members turned into relieved ones (but jay did not hesitate to smack his arm). "ow?"

"i don’t know what would i do if you broke up, honestly. as much as i love you, niki, y/n is just my best friend. well, sister" sunoo cooed, nodding his head. you finally showed your face, mischievous glint in your eyes.

"she literally has the devil horns right now, look how happy she is he got scolded" heeseung laughed, ruffling your hair.

"look, i’d be happy too. we’re y/n’s protection squad" jake grinned and you poked your tongue at niki.

fine, you won this one.

but he couldn’t help but feel relieved that you weren’t no longer crying. and he took a mental note not to make you cry again (not only because it breaks his heart but also for his own good)…

BALTAZAR (They don't have a main type because they're just a farmer, but back in their elite 5 days they were probably grass/dragon)

- Torterra [It's just a big fuggin lad !!!! A huge guy !!! It's nice and steady and good for a guy who's lived in a farm for most of their life. I like to think they would let kids ride it around too :]]

- Tangrowth [Its a huge guy with crazy hair. I just can see Balt with a Pokemon like this so clearly its insane. I love this Pokémon too so ofc im giving it to my favorite little guy !!!]

- Salamence [Probably was the symbol of his old elite 5 team, but once that crashed and burned.... yeah, they don't like talking too much about it. This guy brings back bitter memories, but Balt does his best to separate them from the team itself. Its better for both of them.]

- Haxorous (shiny) [Same as salamence, but even more so. It makes Balt feel bad that he ever put these poor guys in harm's way by battling with them as hard as he did, but he already apologized like a thousand times for it so they already forgiven him don't worry. Honestly probably a huge baby, given Hax was given to him when he was young <3 they grew up together !!]

- Leavanny [I just think Baltazar deserves a buddy okay !!! Its a silly little lady !!! Also Sewaddle is adorable and I love the idea of Balt finding a grub in their garden and taking care of it instead of throwing it out okay. Grab that Grub]

LUIS (ice/fighting or ice/dark. Are you surprised that the angry ice guy is angry and ice. Probably training to be elite 5, and getting pretty fucking close to it)

- Walrein [This is Luis' starter simply because I just think the Vibes are fit. Probably just picked up a spheal in his youngin days and it stayed with him forever !... this sounds a lot sadder now, huh..]

- Sneasel -> Weaville [Angry and competitive little fellow with a fondness for stealing ? Why, that's just exactly like Luis !! He didn't even have to try to catch this guy, it just showed up one day and then stuck around because Luis kept giving it bacon bits. Now they're the bestest smuggest buddies...together ♡]

- Annihalape [No surprise here huh. This Pokémon follows literally the same premise as Luis' whole story: Got so fucking mad it dies and comes back wrong. Luis saw this Pokémon for the first time and is like you just like me fr (takes good care of it to project)]

- Krookodile [It has cool ass sunglasses and it kicks a whole lot of ass on the battlefield. Luis gets it primarily for aesthetics but secondarily for its sheer power. More than happy to kill for any of his mons but especially this guy]

ANDROMEDA (Fairy/Fire gym trainer !)

- Volcarona [That's her starter right here. It slays cunt and its also a gorgeous little thing !! Just like xem fr fr !!]

- Flareon [Matches with Sylveon because they were from the same litter ! Evolved to keep Andromeda safe because this fuckin idiot keeps getting himself in situations and shit. Extremely defensive of everything but mainly because of the first thing- just a really well trained guard dog that forgot how to have fun. Still very soft and silly]

- Sylveon [Matches with Flareon because they're from the same litter ! LOVES Andromeda to death and it is absolutely mutual ! Most spoiled ever !!! Also insanely brutal. don't worry about it though 🙏]

- Alcremie [Just a sweet lil thang. I like to think this one is mostly for aesthetics but its still really well cared for]

MARSH (FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIYAAAAHHH]

- Quilava [Starter Pokémon. I think the angry looking and explosive personality just sold it to him. He wants to evolve it SO bad but they're both still working on it.]

hi yes hello it's me again. so I'm working on my dream of the endless™~ playlist.. and I was looking through this BROODS album that I liked a lot and... just. just look at this.

uugghh Dream just being so overwhelmed after everything and going to Hob.. and Hob's just. Over the moon that Dream feels safe enough with him for comfort.. the bridge is especially destroying me cause like - of course Dream would beat himself up abt needing comfort in the first place and he can't stop thinking abt all that needs to be done and- AAHHH Hob just gently pulling him out of all that, if just for a moment...

My #1 post of 2022

It appears the last two (2)….times I’ve tried creating this post, tumblr thought I was too wordy, so I’m going to attempt to get in and get out before it eats itself again

Seb, I know I have said it a million times, but I'm going to say it a million more whether it's here or in private messages. Thank you for your posts. And I don't just mean your writing (although it always makes my day. Especially on my bad ones, curling up with my sloth stuffie and reading through for comfort) but for you. You take the time to say hello, to check in, to let everyone ramble, and let people talk. You let everyone be who they want, and you provide a safe place. Now this is a couple that has been through a lot recently who are stronger now and finally together after months apart. Walking through the fire station always calmed you down, however, your mind was all over the place with worry! You couldn’t seem to find Maki, despite texting and calling her phone. You knew she had to be at the fire station or else she would’ve been with you celebrating your 2 months anniversary! Hearing the sounds of your girlfriend shouting and the grunts of pain following after gave you your answer. Well--at least you were right in some aspects. Walking towards the noise, you were met with Maki standing over the two newbies. Seeing her in all her glory made your heart go into palpitations. Once Maki noticed you she started making her way to you with a loving glow in her eyes. “Oh! (F/N)! What are you doing here?” you didn’t even have it in you to answer her as you leaped into her arms. Giving a quick peck to her cheek then one on her lips you huffed in satisfaction at her expression “Happy 2 months silly!”

Safe to say you guys had a lovely day and she kept asking for kisses

ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!

okay so this is supposed to be an ask about bmb but i just feel that you should know how things have been going for me recently. my job has turned into a massive whirlwind of bullshit and my last day is this thursday bc i cannot take it anymore. a coworker of mine got fired, then my manager got fired and said coworker got rehired by corporate. then he (coworker) decided to not take his job seriously at all and has since been an indescribable ass. there’s more to do with work that’s been happening but generally is summed up in the word shit-show. also, this month held my uncle’s birthday, a friend’s birthday, my boyfriend’s birthday, my birthday, and me and my boyfriend’s anniversary all in the same week. everything kind of sucks right now.

so. to get to my point in telling you all of this: your blog is something i take solace in.

even when things here have nothing to do with me—just asks from other anons, or random posts you make, or seeing you interact with other blogs—getting the notification that you’ve posted something, anything, new is always accompanied with a wonderfully warm feeling. i’ve been so psyched for bmb ever since i read the first fucking part, and even during your semi-hiatus you were interacting with people and that alone makes my chest fuckin swell. you’re always so wonderful to everyone you interact with it almost makes me feel like crying. and i do mean that as a compliment.

i reread bmb 3 before i read 4. i desperately wanted to read it right when it was posted but i had work in the morning, and i had work tonight. still, i finished up at work with a smile even tho i got scheduled with someone i’ve never closed with before and who’s also 16 and just got back from being sick with possibly covid, and i was still buzzing with excitement to get home and read bmb 4. i made sure i was completely unwound, threw some laundry in the wash, got into comfy clothes, and tucked myself away in bed so i could thoroughly experience your writing. my cat even joined me.

rereading bmb 3 made me cry. 4 made me sob. the ache of seeing keigo so distraught and wracked with guilt, immediately followed by “i think i like hawks” had my chest so fucking tight i could feel it in my throat. your words always yank the tears out of me, especially when it comes to bmb. getting to lie in bed after a pretty shit week and just cry along with everyone in your stories is cathartic lemme tell ya. but i’ll wrap this up !

tl;dr: i haven’t been doin great and bmb (and your blog in general) is something i’ll never not seek comfort in. thank you so much for being who you are, and for sharing it with all of us.

Dear readers,

One can find and do many things on our Jersey island, its rich soil housing some 107.000 inhabitants. But as it appears, the world has more to offer than multi-horned sheep, lovely beaches and close knitted communities. Today I’m once more writing from the metropolitan city of London, my journey taking me to meet some ex-inhabitants of our beloved Jersey.  

In this “Old Faces goes London”, I’ll be visiting a baker who decided to bring his infamous Jersey-rolls to the great City of London, a linguist who strives to keep Jèrriais (our territories unique Norman dialect) alive and I’ll be having a cup of tea with an exporter of Jersey’s very own apple cider. Yum!

And, as time is ticking I will now bid you all adieu. Or, to keep it in the Jèrriais realms;

‘Morning.’ Henry pressed a kiss on my cheek while he brushed past me, his hands busy with making toast while I prepped some lunch boxes. It was 6 AM on a Tuesday and, though I was far from awake, I did admit that I felt quite happy being here, in Henry’s Mews kitchen. 

In the far corner I could hear Kal hogging down some food after an even more ungodly early doggy walk - from which I thankfully had been spared - and before long the kitchen was filled with lovely scents and we were all enjoying our breakfast.

‘Sleep well?’ I said, keeping my voice down as the walls were rather thin. Henry nodded, cup of coffee hovering beneath his nose, cheeks dimpling with a tender smile. ‘Sure did. Though looks like you are STILL sleeping.’ He laughed. ‘Mmm... I’m very much enjoying this dream, thank you very much. So please, allow me.’

‘Then so I will. So what are you up to today?’ He took a hesitant sip of the far too hot drink, scrunching his nose as he nearly burned his tongue, then decided to put it down, his hands instead moving to cut into the toast, his egg all gooey perfection as it oozed out onto the plate. I could see Kal push his head on Henry’s lap, hoping that his puppy eyes were enough of a persuader to earn himself some bacon. But apparently it was just another part of their morning routine, Henry’s hand near automatically running through the Akita’s fur before returning to his breakfast, no bacon bits shared in the process.

Sweet bears. 

‘Going to have an interview with that baker in a little over an hour, then visiting that publisher followed by some work calls. You?’

‘No baker interviews unfortunately,’ He smiled. ‘Just meetings. Meetings, meetings, meetings.’ Henry shrugged, obviously not looking forward to it. ‘Oh..What do you want to do for dinner by the way?’ He inquired.

‘Eh…eat food?’ I grinned, earning an exasperated look from him. ‘Hahah..sorry..but eh..let’s just cook something at home. Shall I cook or..?’

‘Cooking as home is good, sure. And, Ali, honestly..I’m not THAT traditional. Maybe let’s just say that the first person who gets home, cooks? That seems to be more fair.’ He said simply, hogging down onto another huge bite. 

‘Very well then, my fair feminist knight.’ I winked, also cutting into my toast, my nose sniffing happily as the savoury scents drifted into my nostrils. Gosh, how nice it was to be with a man that could cook!

Still somewhat catching my breath from hurrying from meeting to meeting, I sat before one man called Charles Dunham, his golden nameplate shining proudly on his paper-filled mahogany desk. From the moment I had gotten into his office, it became clear that the old, fat cheeked man was most eager to get me on board; a good cup of coffee and some cookies were moved onto the last remaining bit of his space on his overcrowded desk and before I could even take my first sip of the welcome drink, the offer was already on the table.

‘Simply said; we adore your stories. And from a business point of view we see great potential. You have a solid fan base, and we recently released a similar storybook for adults that sold like hot buns on the Sunday market,’ He grinned happily, throwing three cubes of sugar in his coffee and mixing it with a freakishly small spoon. ‘So we are more than glad to develop this project with you.’

I blinked over the rim of the cup of coffee, hot steam raising up from the porcelain. HOLY DAMN! I let out a soft giggle and smiled. ‘My…alright then. I had expected to have to give you my sales pitch and perhaps a kidney or two. I mean, I even made a whole presentation, but this is far better. Thank you so much for your trust and enthusiasm Mr. Dunham, it truly means the world!’ 

Mr. Dunham chuckled. ‘And the world better be ready. How about we start editing a first version in the next few months, fine-tune a few things? Oh, and I did have one small question; are these based on actual people?’

‘Some are inspired by a mix of people I know, though all characters are definitely fictional in nature.’

‘Well, perhaps you COULD add a slight reference to Superman, since he’s from the Islands as well. Our readers would surely love that.’

I felt my stomach somersault again. Oh Mr. Dunham..if only you knew.

‘Haha..well. We might have to look into copyrights there, but it sure is true that we, I, adore our homeland hero.’ I winked.

Oh the homeland hero. I did adore him, indeed. In fact I craved him really.

The moment I had gotten back to Jersey I felt like I had left a piece of myself back with Henry. Suddenly the air was bleak and my parents house was not my home anymore, the large but comfortable house feeling like but a shell of what it had been just days earlier. And it got even weirder when I was laying in bed. 

Here I was, alone, my hand outstretched to the spot where he would lay if we would sleep together. I even tried to sniff the pillow he had slept on, to see if any of his scent perhaps lingered there.

It didn’t.

It had been a strangely eventful day today. First the very early flight, a sleepy Henry - quite unique to find in the mornings - driving me to the airport. And then the near desperate hugs and kisses we shared, followed by a restless flight. And then I had to quickly drop off my stuff before heading to another doctors appointment. This time for one of a more invasive nature; a number of physical tests had to be performed so I could enlist for a sperm donor. My plan B. Just in case everything failed with Henry. 

But, in all honesty, it felt more and more like a doom scenario I was increasingly less comfortable with. Did I want to become a single parent, if all of this failed? Was that really my dream? Or was a child just a result of something greater I truly wanted, something I had pushed away and hidden from my still beating heart. Did I actually want something quite different?

Did I want..eh..love, actually?

As I lay there looking at the ceiling, small glow-in-the-dark stars speckling the otherwise dark surface, I came to the bitter tasting realisation that I had not really taken into account that there was suddenly this extra person who had come into the equation. This person I had wild make-out sessions with on my parents couch, as well finding in him the person who offers a listening ear and who would consolidate me and be there during a doctors appointment. 

He cared and was obviously not really wanting to leave. And I, to be even more honest with myself, well, I didn’t want him to leave either. I needed to keep him close and listen to him if I wanted this to last. 

Rolling on my side I picked up my phone. 11.30 PM. He’d probably be sleeping now. I bit my lip and decided to text him, even if he’d only read it in the morning.

“I just tried to sniff the pillow but your scent is gone. I miss you😢”

Quite immediately a message returned. A selfie, taken with a flash in the starkness of a dark bedroom. Henry’s face sulkily grabbing onto a pillow. “That makes two. I miss you three!”

I giggled, silly bear, then imitated his picture, taking one myself, his pillow squeezed tightly in my arm, head resting on top. “Sweet dreams bear. I’ll keep your pillow safe.”

And then a little voice chat message came in, his silky deep voice filling my heart with joy; ‘Sweet dreams Ali.’

Oh sweet were my dreams indeed. 

If only..if only he were here to share them with me.

This is the best day of my life, Marinette squealed to herself, her arms wrapped tightly around the neck of the superhero that was carrying her. A few minutes ago, she had sighed dreamily when she realized that she had to give out the snake miraculous. Since Hawkmoth already knew Viperion’s identity, she had to give out the miraculous to someone else. And she had preferred to give it to someone who had experience. Someone who had saved her before. This led her to be in Aspik’s, also known as Adrien’s arms, her face buried in his chest to hide her blushing face. She nibbled her lip lightly, hiding the small, secretive smile that was threatening to bloom across her cheeks. Of course, he didn’t know that she knew and a small snicker escaped her before she could stop it.

  He put her down on the ground once they were far enough away from the recent akuma attack, an almost confused smile on his face, “Did you just snicker?”

“I-um, uh, no... I um, scoffed?” Marinette gave him a wide smile, her words phrased more like a question than a statement. Her fingers tapped together unconsciously as she peered up at him from beneath her lashes.

“You scoffed?” Aspik’s eyebrow rose at her, with what looked to be a smirk growing on his face, “Was that because I just rescued you from imminent doom or do you normally scoff at akumas?”

“Uh both,” she giggled nervously as the glimmering, emerald eyes of Adrien peered at her. Imagine if she had to work with these eyes every day, she’d almost certainly never get any work done. 

The superhero laughed with her, “And here I was thinking that I was playing the role of the dashing hero. What do you think, am I better than Chat Noir?” he flexed his arm, giving her a cocky smile.

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Adrien act like this. Especially not with me. He looks so cute right now though! I do like this side of him! It reminds me a lot of Chat Noir, though, Marinette watched him with a light smile teasing at the edge of her lips, “It depends.”

“On what?” Aspik dropped his arm, looking at her curiously.

“On whether or not you can actually get me somewhere safe,” she said teasingly, pointing behind him, “The akuma has almost caught up with us again.”

“Oh shoot,” he grabbed her in his arms once more, causing her to let out a small squeak of surprise. They took off once more, Aspik glancing over his shoulder at the akuma chasing them before leaning down to whisper in her ear, “Who’d have thought someone would get akumatized over pineapples? I mean, pineapples, really?”

Marinette giggled, “Aspik, we’ve seen someone get akumatized over pigeons, I don’t think this is really any stranger.”

“You’re probably right about that,” he chuckled. When they had finally reached her bakery, Aspik put her down once more, “I think you’ll be safe here. If you can stay safe inside the bakery until Ladybug comes back, I’m sure we’ll defeat this akuma in plenty of time,” he smiled brightly at her.

Wow, he was really unsubtle. If she didn’t already know he was Adrien, she would definitely be suspicious. Good thing he wasn’t a full-time hero or his identity would be revealed in no time at all. She grinned at him before nodding, “Thank you, Aspik.”

He turned to go but her arm shot out instead, grabbing him by the wrist she shouted, “Wait!” her face flamed when he turned around to look at her, letting go of him like he was on fire. Ducking her head shyly, Marinette chewed on her lip, “I, well you see, my friend has this blog she runs on Paris’ superheroes and it would mean the world to her if she had a picture of you. Do you mind taking one with me?”

“Not at all,” the superhero laughed, already slinging an arm around her shoulder, “Just don’t tell Ladybug. She’d have my head if she knew I was taking pictures instead of battling an akuma.”

“I won’t,” she promised, though she was unable to fight against the silly grin that spread across her face. If he only knew... she snickered in her head. With that she took the photo quickly, leaving herself a mental reminder to give the photo to Alya when she could. When Aspik raced back towards the akuma, she took her chance to run into an empty alley. Peering down into her purse at her grinning kwami, she spoke cheerfully, “Ready to transform again?”

“Ready whenever you are, Ladybug,” Tikki winked.

“I’m always ready to see Adrien again,” Marinette sighed dreamily before she said her transformation words, getting ready to go and save the world with the boy of her dreams.
