TMNT x USAGI mega-crossover pt 2 - another lineup sketch

Some more lineup sketches as I try to nail down the height and body differences between this cast so I can keep them consistent in arts (at least to soe degree)

You can tell this one is a lot different, I made this this past week while looking at the old ones from autumn.

Bonus: closeup of the tiny Yui!Usagi thinking about this crossover and how all these other descendant teens are a bit taller than him. Tho he’s not that insecure about his height, it does make him feel weird about being the only one who hasn’t grown taller yet (something like that).

I feel like headcanoning that... life on the farm with just detroyed vegetables to eat wasn’t all too great a contributor to that...

03. late night conversations┊ ┊⋆ beyond the stars

synopsis - you've been sent to join the joestar crew on their mission to defeat dio by... dio? y/n is an undercover stand user who joins the sdc to report back to dio their findings and notes about their stands, up until a few moral dilemmas get in the way of your original mission.

ch. synopsis - you made it through your first full day !! . . .or have you?

So down sat Jotaro sat silently across from you, the air heavy with unspoken words. Thoughts raced through your mind, your hands growing clammier by the second. Your throat felt parched, and the tension in the air was palpable – far from the good kind.

Has he figured me out? He's been so cold, and I know he’s supposed to be smart but was it that quick?

While Jotaro rummaged through his pockets, you pulled out your phone in an attempt to ease the awkwardness.

He lit a cigarette, his gaze fixed on the open space ahead. Sighing at Mariah’s text, you prepared to retreat to your room when you heard a soft, yet stern "(y/n)." Nervous shakes set in, your leg bouncing as you turned to face Jotaro.

This is make or break. I'm not going back this early.

"What's up?" You tried to sound nonchalant, but your throat felt as dry as it did the day Dio took you. Nails dug into your hand beneath the table, hidden from view.

Anticipation hung in the air as Jotaro took a drag. "I know you have some ulterior motive. Frankly, I don't care about your backstory, but for everyone's sake, I need to know why you're here."

He's trying to read me. I can't lie, but I can dance around the truth.

"Well, I did mention it when we first met, didn't I? I'm here because of my mother." Not a lie.

"Why did you survive if you supposedly saw her get kidnapped?"

Damn it.

Your thoughts unraveled, thinking about the damage the situation caused was something you didn't do, for your own sake. You released your grip on your hand, revealing red marks from where the nails dug in. Calmly, you reached for your glass of water, but the dehydrated feeling lingered even after the drink. You cleared your throat.

"Excuse me... sorry." You were panicked and visible uncomfortable. He sighed at you. "Truth is, I don't know."

It was true. Why didn't Dio take both of you? You were the one who burst through the door, pleading with him not to harm his mother like he did the rest of his victims. "I hope she's still alive. I hope somehow she made it out." Tears welled up, clouding your vision. Jotaro shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Good grief, don't go crying."

You looked up at Jotaro, sniffling. "Sorry."

"I don't know what happened, but there's nothing you can do about it now. You show some kind of survivors guilt, so you're not entirely evil. At this rate, that's enough."

As Jotaro rose, the tension between you began to dissipate. Perhaps, with his departure, a sliver of trust had been extended your way.

Parallel Lines AU (TMNT X Usagi Yojimbo)

ok ok ok I woke up this morning before work in a cold sweat cuz this shit suddenly popped into my head. Okay so basics; No. 1 All Usagi's are related and from the same universe. No. 2 Time moves weird between dimensions which is how we get this AU of which I'm calling Parallel Lines. Aka inter dimensional travel + the fixed point in time continuity of Usagi's world never lets the Bunny and Turtle boi be together for long. Aka generational gay longing AU.

So firstly I'm sort of splitting up the personality of Comic Usagi with 87 Usagi and 03 Usagi, though mainly its 03. So as seen on the chart 87 Usagi would be 03 Usagi's grandpa. He and 87 Leo became real close during his time in New York, like really really close, but unfortunately had to part ways in the end. Everybody noticed how different 87 Usagi was after his inter dimensional trip, a lingering sadness always present under a bold faced mask. As a child 03 Usagi always wondered about the ever present sadness in his grandpa's eyes. Then years later 03 Usagi joins the Battle Nexus and meets 03 Leo. At first its easy to stay in touch through dimensional portals and letters sent through them. Then the weird time shit starts happening, i.e. they notice that time moves a LOT slower in 03 Leo's dimension. Months between letters and visits turn into years for Usagi and the pain of essentially growing up separately leads them to drift apart. Leo still sends letters sometimes though he as no idea WHEN in time Usagi will receive it. Usagi cherishes each letter with all his heart. He now understood the deep sadness that lingered within his grandfather's heart was actually longing. Along all this Jotaro is born and grows and trains with Usagi's old master. And though their relationship is "complicated" they care deeply for each other as only father and son can and the loneliness 03 Usagi feels hurts a little less. He's is traveling with Usagi when Jei attacks the village and they need to transport Kintaro to the sacred temple. Then the Turtles attack, brainwashed, Usagi and Jotaro are able to snap them out of it and Usagi's heart soars as it did in his youth if only for just a moment. This Leo (2012) is different from his Leo (03) but he is also very similar as well and it hurts. It hurts to see an echoe of the man you onced loved, both young and heavy with the weight of responsibility of being leader, just as he had been. And it was bittersweet to see that same connection that had once been between them now find itself present in Jotaro and 12 Leo. He knew what the ending of this would be when the journey was over and as much as he wanted to save his son from the pain of it all he could not bare to get between them if it wasn't yet time to part. Jotaro has never met a person quite like 12 Leo, just as headstrong and passionate as well as a bit of a dork. Leo told Jotaro all about his adventures, both on earth and beyond the stars, and in turn Jotaro told Leo about his own life and adventures as a samurai in training. They could talk for hours without getting bored or just sit in silence watching the stars just enjoy the presence of each other. When they parted Jotaro felt a piece of himself leave along with Leo as well, worlds away and never to meet again. It reminded him of his father, of days where he was quiet and looked along the horizon looking for something. Something that now Jotaro will now be looking for, for the rest of his life as well. All is quiet for many years after, until Yuichi is introduced. I haven't seen Samurai Rabbit yet but its on my list of shit to do. But especially it would be Gay Longing Pt 4 with the same end result UNTIL....

We get to our MM Turtles where finally FINALLY Leo and Usagi are in the same universe. But idk if I should wait until the new show comes out incase they do another Usagi crossover or say fuck it and make up my own OC and time line after I watch Samurai Rabbit? Pls feel free to suggest, add, or comment on this mess of gobbledygook as I wrote this all down half asleep and during my work lunch break 😅

valentine’s day. a day meant to spread love and enjoy time with those you cherish, and what better way to do that than to go on a date? whether it be a cozy night in or a night out on the town, you can’t go wrong with these valentine’s plans! (all works are sfw)

03. a dinner date with gojo (wc: 1.6k) — first date/new relationship; a week before valentine’s day, gojo invites you out to a fancy restaurant in tokyo. and when the date finally comes, you can’t help but feel a little out of place and more than a little flustered.

04. a parisian date with tendou (wc: 1.4k) — established relationship, timeskip!tendou; there’s no better time to visit your long-distance boyfriend than the week of valentine’s day. his new home city of paris, the famed city of love, just happens to be an added bonus.

05. stargazing date with tsukishima (wc: 1.2k) — established relationship, college!tsukki; a walk through the park after a late class results in an impromptu date with your boyfriend tsukishima. with cold air nipping your nose and snowflakes fluttering through the air, tsukishima makes an unexpected offer.

06. ice skating date with bakugou (wc: 910) — established relationship, pro-hero!bakugou; bakugou isn’t someone you consider to be particularly graceful, and he hates the cold. so why did he think an ice skating date would be a good idea?

The few remaining Crusaders, after having dealt with [Anubis], have now calmed down and are sleeping in a hotel room which they have to share. Jotaro sleeps on the couch, Joseph sleeps in his own bed, Avdol and Polnareff are sharing a bed(with Polnareff being upside down), and Iggy is sleeping in an armchair.

In the bathroom, Medea, one of DIO's servants, was in the bath tub, turning it into a bed with a sleeping bag and pillow. She's not asleep as she's using a handheld game T. D'Arby gave her, not to play games, but to call for help due to her situation.

Medea: *Writing a message on handheld*: @ MedeaKing1969: <@ FMegaMaster15 Help! S.O.S! Crusaders kidnapped me! Call for back up!>

Handheld game: <Message can't be sent, satellite connection disabled>

Medea: *In her mind, frustrated* Ugh, are you kidding me!? the ONE time I remembered the chat room feature and this happens? *Turns it off and puts it away, she then puts her head in her hands* I can't believe this, my mission's been compromised and four of the Great Gods have been taken out by these bastards! How am I gonna explain this mess to Master DIO!?..... *Lays down in the tub and tries to go to sleep, she whispers this out loud:* I need to find some way to defeat the Joestars, but how?............. Zzzzzzzzz..............*A candle light suddenly was shown into her face* ...... Zzzzzzzzzz.......

???: *Flicking the page*

Medea: Mmmm... *Wakes up to the sounds of page flicking* Hmm?.... *Her eyes scanned her surroundings to find that she's in DIO's room*.......

???: *Flicking another page*

Medea: *Looks down on herself and finds that she's laying on the foot of his bed, under the covers* ............*She sits up, revealing that she has no clothes on and her back is covered in bite marks, each one being in a different state of healing but not fully healed, the bite on her left shoulder blade is the recent one*.......

???: ....Couldn't sleep, my dear?

Medea: *Turns to the voice, seeing DIO laying at the head of the bed, under the covers and reading a book*

DIO's Mansion

Medea: *Groggy* What time is it?

DIO: *Looks at grandfather clock* 12:03 AM.

Medea: Almost an hour?... Alright then.... *Rubbing eyes as she covers herself with the bed sheets* Mmmm....

DIO: ....You looked like you didn't enjoyed our little "play date" tonight, is there something troubling you?

Medea: ...Besides the bite on my back?...Yeah..... What Joseph said about his daughter.... was it true?

DIO: *Stops reading*...... What's true?

Medea: The whole reason behind the Crusaders wanting to kill you, he said that you awakening your Stand is killing his daughter.

DIO: ...............Really? That's the first time I'm hearing this.

Medea: *Crawling to him, albeit weakly* That's what I said to him, but... He told me up front that [The World]'s birth is what awakened his bloodline's Stands, [Hermit Purple], [Star Platinum]... *sits next to him* Mrs. Kujo can't handle hers because she doesn't have the fighting spirit like both of us... I know the old goat's a jerk and all, but he sounded really serious about this clai-*Jumps when DIO slams book closed, silencing her as well*

DIO: *A dark aura surrounds him as the silhouette of [The World] appears behind him* I don't care what happens to his daughter, his son, or any offspring that old bastard sired, the Joestars are nothing but filthy parasites and a hindrance to my goals with Jonathan as it's ringleader, and I want every single last one of them to rot in hell!

Medea: *Crawls away from him, scared*

DIO: Have I taught you nothing, woman? Because it sure sounds like it considering how many times you failed me!

Medea: *Panicking* I-I'm sorry, Master DIO! P-p-please don't hurt m- *Falls backwards over the bed's edge* Ahh! *Suddenly safe in DIO's arms with her head and hands resting in his chest, surprising her as it happened in a blink of an eye* !?!?..........

DIO: ..............

Medea: .............. *Grips her fists on his chest, sighing* ...Please...forgive my insolence, Master DIO...

DIO: ....... *Brushes her bangs out of her face* You are forgiven. *Lifts her chin with his forefinger and thumb to look at him* I just want you to understand why they can't be trusted, I was only looking out for your well-being, my dear.

Medea: *Quiet* ...I understand.

DIO: Then you know what you must do once when they arrive in Aswan, right?

Medea: .....Yes, my Lord.

DIO: *Smirks, he whispers:* Good girl~ *Kisses her forehead before rest his head on her right shoulder, hugging her*

Medea: *Blushes at this sudden act of tenderness*......... *Hugs back, closing her eyes* Mmmm~

DIO: ......*He smiles widely as he bares his fangs dangerously near her right shoulder*

Medea: *Gasps herself awake, panting and covered in cold sweat* ...Hah...hah...hah... *She looks around and sees that she's in her pajamas and in the hotel bathtub, it was just a nightmare* ...Hah...hah...hah... *She takes out her watch and flashlight to check the time*

[Flogging Molly]: *Petting her*

Medea: *Calms down* ........... *Uses her left hand to move her shirt's collar off her right shoulder, revealing another bite mark that DIO made in her dream, meaning that nightmare she had was of a past event* ...........I'm confused, [Molly].... what's even the right thing anymore? Will Master DIO even care if I come back victorious or not?... Does he even care about me at all?

[Flogging Molly]: *Hugs their user tightly* Kiru...

Medea: ......... *Tears up as she pats their back* Thank you....

All the Crusaders are awake, fixing the beds and getting ready to ship off again, meanwhile Polnareff is sitting on the bed and watching cartoons on a hotel TV

Jotaro: *Tries to enter the bathroom door, but was locked* Right, I forgot she's in there. *Knocking* Hey Medea, you awake in there?

Medea: *Inside* Mmmmm....

Jotaro: I need to use the shower, so move it.

Medea: *Groggy* Alright, alright, I'm getting up....... *Unlocks the door and opens it, walking out while wrapped head to toe in her own (unzipped)sleeping bag, holding it closed with one hand and her backpack and pillow with the other, her hair was also messy and her eyes looked tired* Uhhhh....

Polnareff: Good morning, mademoiselle!

Medea: *Groggy* Morning, Frenchie. *Falls face first on the bed behind him*

Polnareff: *Worried* Hey, are you feeling alright?

Medea: ..... I had trouble sleeping last night.

Polnareff: *To Jotaro* You see that? I told you she should've taken the couch, and now looks what happened.

Jotaro: And I told you that I don't wanna sleep with my Grandfather. *Enters the bathroom*

Polnareff: *Throws hands up in there air* Mon Dieu! *Turns to pat her back* Never mind him, Avdol told us that there's a hotel at our next pit stop that's a lot more nicer than this one, so you can freshen up and have your own bed to sleep on.

Medea: *Raises head up* That sounds great, but what's the place?

Polnareff: Hmmm, I don't remember the name, but he says that it's in a city called Luxor.

These quick doodle lineups weren't showing up my own blog search so I thought I'd re-post them. Then realized, hey, they're kinda hard to actually view, right? 😅

Lineup: Samurai Rabbit: the Usagi Chronicles cast of Kitsune, Chizu and Usagi, then Cody Jones from the 06/07 tmnt03 spinoff Fast Forward. 2nd image: 03 April and Casey, Leo and Usagi, '03 Jotaro and SRTUC Gen. (yes Jotaro is sorta made up for this fic, since we don't know the exact things that go on in 03 usagi's world but we can assume it is loosely based on the canon at the time so I'm just running with it)

(won't tag all characters this time, since the doodles are very undetailed anyway, so if you wanna search these or block em, you can use the tag "usagi x tmnt megaXover" or "UTMX", maybe I'll figure a better name for this later on but... for now, that's it haha)
