I LOVED THE WAY THE KIDS REACTED IN THE BOOK. And I so badly wanted to see THEIR reaction the most. They sorta showed Jacks but they didn’t talk about Roger specifically which I really wanted to know the canon way he would react but I honestly feel like his first thought was just “shit bro I’m gonna get in so much trouble 💀💀” while Jack who’s next to him is going through an entire mental crisis at the ripe age of 12 😭😭

I so badly wish that there was at least SOMETHING about the aftermath after the point where it ends in the book bc what fuels my obsession the most is all the things that would happen to the boys after all of that. What would happen with Roger? He literally murdered a kid. And Jack too although I don’t really believe Simons death was his doing in particular I think the boys would most likely blame him for it if anything. Would they even tell anyone abt the stuff that happened on the island?. Would they be scared into silence??? Would someone crack under pressure and tell someone about it?!?! HOW IS RALPH GOING TO DEAL WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT EVERYONE HE KNOWS INCLUDING HIMSELF CAN GET TO THAT POINT OF INSANITY. How many of them are going to be admitted into a psych ward. I need to know. If any of u have aftermath hcs abt what happened to all the boys afterwards GIVE THEM TO ME RN I DONT CARE THIS WHOLE TOPIC IS SO INTERESTING TO ME I WANNA KNOW WHAT OTHERS WOULD THINK!!!!

Steve takes his hair incredibly seriously. He didn’t get to be known as Steve “The Hair” Harrington for nothing. Eddie decidedly did not.

Cuddles were mandatory for Steve. That’s where they were now, wrapped in one another’s warmth. Legs and bodies entwined with one another. Almost looking like one entity. Steve had his head nestled under Eddie’s chin, his long dark locks fanned out in a halo on the pillow. Eddie was reading from The Hobbit very softly. He was also gently running one of his hands through Steve’s caramel hair. Steve breathed in a deep content breath, his nose filling with the sweet scent from Eddie’s hair. Steve on more than one occasion has commented on how lovely he finds Eddie’s hair to smell. Eddie would always grin wickedly with a look in his eyes that always said ‘I know something you don’t’. Then as fast as the look would appear it would be gone and he would sweetly say ‘thank you’ before moving on. Steve breathed in one more breath before Eddie began to shake with laughter.

“What’s so funny?” Steve grumbled out trying to hold his nice smelling pillow down, aka Eddie. Eddie just continued to laugh before setting the book down on their bedside table. He then pushed himself up into a sitting position bringing Steve up with him. He smiled sweetly into his boyfriends chocolate colored eyes.

“You. You are what’s so funny, pretty boy” Eddie said his voice honey sweet with affection for Steve who blushed slightly at the nickname.

“Do you want to know what I use in my hair?” Steve perked up at that. Steve loved his hair and all the different products he could potentially use in it. He had dragged Eddie to stores plenty of times, practically begging him to show him what hair products he used in it. Desperately going through aisle after aisle showing Eddie bottle after bottle with no luck. Steve nodded eagerly. Eddie grinned mischievously as he grabbed Steve’s complete attention.

“It’s 2 in 1 shampoo!” Eddie had done little jazz hands after the sentence and waited with baited breath to hear Steve’s response. Steve blinked once, twice, then three times before speaking.

“You are fucking joking” Steve deadpanned at his boyfriend who looked like he was on the verge of exploding with laughter.

“I’m not joking!! It’s actually 2 in 1 shampoo and you love my hair after I use it. You can’t deny that. You practically huff my hair.” Steve sighed defeated, and slightly embarrassed at being called out, before he buried his face into Eddie’s hair again hating the fact that he still loved how it smelled.

“I hate you” Steve mumbled into the curly brown lock tickling his nose with its traitorous 2 in 1 smell. Eddie smiled softly while gently rubbing Steve’s back before whispering into his ear.

“I love you too, Stevie”

2-In-One Tag Game 🙃

So I got tagged for two different games. @writingpotato07 tagged me for Last Line, and @the-stray-storyteller tagged me for Heads Up Seven Up. Which made me squeal with joy, but also I'm kinda unsure what to do since these games cover pretty much the same ground. I've technically got two WIPs if we're counting Theodore Diaries (which, as I mentioned before, takes place in the middle of Book 3 from the perspective of a character I haven't introduced yet), but pretty much all my lines in that document are very spoiler heavy. So instead, I'm thinking I'll post my last seven lines from P&K 1 and call it a two-for-one. Unless you all revolt, in which case I'll post both, but don't say I didn't warn you about the spoilers.
